The town of Ashvanagar is led by a family of alicorns. Rainbowshine is an ordinary pegasus in their alicorn family. Rainbowshine doesn't get the love of her parents because she's not born an alicorn. However, she knows that shining in a certain field has turned Twilight and Cadence into alicorns. So she tries to look for a field to shine in, and get her parents' love.
