You know, my favorite way of clearing my head's always been to run above the hustle and bustle of the city below. As Matterhorn did parkour in the city. But after the recent meta-virus outbreak that hustle and bustle have gone up a notch. In fact, its gone up about 20 stories. People had these for only about a week. And still can't the hang of these wings. Then her earpiece rang.

"Hello?"

"Twilight, it's Moondancer. I made it home last night, but something's wrong. I need you t-"

"Need what? Moondancer? Are you there? Hello?"

Moments nighttime had fallen, and Matterhorn arrived at Moondancer's house with a mob at her front door.

"What's with the crowd?" She asked as she became her alter-ego Twilight Sparkle. "Haven't seen a mob like this since the new Mercury phone came out. Oh, I get it, these are what adoring fans sound like."

"Most of you have known about the Masked Matterhorn right," Twilight said to herself as she approached the door. "Moondancer? Hello? Anyone is there? I'm coming in."

Twilight opened the door and walked inside.

"Man, you got some monster fans out there," Twilight said then heard a faint rattling. "Moondancer, what going on? Are you okay?"

Twilight saw the same creature from before.

"Something tells me, you are a big fan. Wait a minute. I never forget a fang. Your that creep that tried to poison the city, the other day, are you? What'd you do, come back for an autograph?"

The monster came at her, only crashing into a wall.

"I don't know what you did Moondancer, buddy, but she is not going to like what you've done to her place."

Twilight punches the monster in the face which sends it to the ground.

"Damn, I just punch an oversized monster in the face. I've many conflicting emotions right now. Come on, ugly, right this way."

The monster follows her through the house the led her outside where the monster had her on the ground.

"Back off, Moondancer, Sparkle's not on the menu," Starlight fired an energy bolt at her.

"Starlight?" Twilight asked as Starlight fired multiple energy bolts at her causing her to fall down. "Two things, first, wow! And second. why do you know think that monster is Moondacner?"

"First, don't be so surprised. Second, it's wearing what is left of Moondancer's costume. And third I'm smarter than you and already pieced this together."

"How I did know the last part was obvious?"

"We need to go now!"

Both Starlight and Twilight headed toward downtown.

"Wherever there's smoke there's fire," Twilight said as both she and Starlight detain the monster Moondancer.

"Moondancer left a voice mail. Said something was happening to her. "

"She must've called me when she couldn't reach you. Then the phone went dead."

Moondancer lifted a car and throw it at them but Twilight used her magic and stop it cold just Starlight fought her, then Twilight held her from behind.

"I got this handle, you go get help."

"No way in hell you side-linning me, Moondancer's my best friend, so I'm staying. If this was Monica, you'd do the same."

Moondancer backed Twilight into a wall and left.

"Okay, we need to Monster-Moondancer into the alley."

Then followed her into an alleyway, to where Twilight created a bubble and trap her.

"There's nowhere left to go, Moondancer. Just make this easy and give up."

She broke the bubble and came right at them.

"That does not sound like surrender."

Twilight kicked it at the ribs, then Starlight trap her in an energy cage.

"Nice moves, Sparkle."

"Thanks, I worked out a bit."

"Your good fortune has turned into mine," Snaptrap said as came in.

"Snaptrap."

"When the entire city of Canterlot gained power, I thought, What a challenge for the great Snaptrap. Then when I saw on the news a hideous meta-monster emerged, I had one thought--- Gold Ratings! Now watch as Snaptrap takes down his most extraordinary target of all time."

He arms his laser at Moondancer.

"Say good night, monster."

"I don't so think, so, Snaptrap!" Twilight threw two Sparkle Stars which caught him off guard and missed allowing Monster-Moondancer to escape.

"How dare you interfere. Although, just as well, a trapped creature is no challenge. That is like shooting the fish in a barrel. What we did in season one is now free for download.

"Starlight, you wrangle Moondancer. I'll handle the reality show hunter."

"Twilight, Matterhorn had trouble taking down Snaptrap, what are you going to do?"

"No time, just go! I'll distract as long as I can."

Twilight circled back and kicked his glider which sends both of them to the ground.

"Why do most of my best ideas give me headaches?"

"You are becoming a nuisance, little girl."

"A nuisance, you don't know the half of it."

"Anyone keeping me from my hunt must be stopped," As Snaptrap armed his dagger. "Plus it is great television."

Twilight kept dodging every attack by Snaptrap and then kicked the dagger out of his hand which didn't stop him from putting Twilight on the ground.

"I don't know who you are, but your scent is familiar."

Twilight fired ice in his eyes blinding him,

"That's a good look for you, and just in time for your close-up."

She use the video drone and threw it to his face but Snaptrap dodged and threw an explosive at her making her dodge.

"Enough! You will now learn a painful lesson. Cross with me, you become the target. Like it says on the back of the official Snaptrap T-shirt, now available in select stores for 12.99."

Then Snaptrap fired his gun at Twilight.

"You are skilled for such an inferior-looking creature. Much like Afrainc toad, which appears docile but whose darts have the strength of a bomb!"

He threw another bomb right in her face making her feel the impact and then fall to the ground.

"You have fought bravely today. You've earned my respect, and this is an autographed 8x10 glossy of the popular hunt. You can place it on your-"

Then a truck rammed right into him.

"Get in!" Monica rolled down the window.

"Monica?" As Twilight got in. "How did know where to find me?"

"I didn't. Now buckle up," Monica said as they left. "I've been tracking the meta-monster that placed out on Canterlot Island. Been following it through its vibrational patterns."

"Tactile communications, that's cool."

"Yeah, on the monstrous vibrations."

"Great. Now we'll be able to track Moondancer too."

"Moondancer? What happened to her?"

"You're not going to believe it, but Moondancer turned into a meta-monsters too."

"Twi, the entire city has meta-powers. I'll believe anything at this point... Hang on!" Monica did a right turn.

"Just asking out of the blue, are we okay?"

"Yeah, I got a little freaked out, but right now, that's the least of my worries."

"Okay, why such an interest in the original meta-monster?"

"Twilight, hear me out, but I think my dad's alive."

"What? How? Caleb's tough and all, but there's no way he survived the explosion at Crystal Prep."

"Unless he was infected by the virus first, and gave him powers, which also explains the Stealth Matterhorn."

"And since he was the first one to get meta-powers, he'd be the first one to mutate."

"That's why I have been tracking him, I have to know for sure. I'm scared Twi, I want my dad to be alive. But if he is, then I also need to figure out why he tried to poison the city."

"One step at a time. It's a lot to deal with but you won't go through it alone." Twilight and Monica fist-bumped each other.

"*Exhales* Hopefully this is our monster," Monica said as she stop the truck then she and Twilight got out and saw Starlight trapped Moondancer in an energy cage.

"Who's the got the moves, this girl!" Starlight exclaimed.

"She's really taken it hasn't she?" Twilight asked.

"Yeah, her ego's the size of Matterhorn's too," Monica replied as Starlight came down.

"You guys got room for two more?"

Much later...

"Gotta admit, this truck is pretty decked out," Starlight looked around in the truck.

"It's a mobile lab, with a few mods and a lot of new techs."

"Sweet, I can get a jump on my research to help Moondancer but I need my equipment back at Nexus if going to synthesize a cure. We should head straight there."

"Yeah, were taking a short detour." then Monica hit a speed bump.

"Hey watch it!"

"Sorry, we've got a lock on Caleb-monster."

"Caleb-monster?"

"It's a long story."

"I got a bad feeling about this," Starlight said with concern as a bomb rolled under the truck and exploded and send it flying then came down on a hard landing.

"Everbody okay?"

"Yeah."

"Um, nothing about any of this is okay."

Outside

"Snaptrap has returned!" Snaptrap as he opens the door. "I wanted you not to interfere. Once Snaptrap sets his sights on his prey, nothing will stop his victory. Yes, you are right to fear the hunter."

Then another second meta monster came right behind him and bit on his robot arm.

"Another one?"Snaptrap said as he got tossed off the van. "Larger and more hideous than the first? Perfect."

Then he armed his staff.

"Come creature, do your worst and I shall you my best."

The Meta-Monster chases after him and tried to attack him but Snaptrap deflects every one then knocks him back, only for him to freeze his foot but misses as Snaptrap frees himself and started to zap him.

"Dad!" Monica screamed that grabbed Snaptrap's attention.

"So this monster is the great Caleb Simon? Perfect. I will exact my revenge for the disrespect you showed me when we last met."

Both fought each other, as they were Monica got out along Twilight and Starlight as well then Monica tried to intervene but Twilight stopped her.

"Monica, you can't get between these two, you'll be crushed!" Twilight said.

"I've gotta do something!" Monica shot back as Moondancer got out.

"You two got Moondacner," Monica ran toward the truck just Snaptrap and Caleb continued to fight.

"Quiet!" Snaptrap gut-punch him to the ground. "This exterior suits you, Caleb. It shows the true monster you are within, and will look great in my museum."

Meanwhile...

"Come on, Moondancer," As Starlight and Twilight pursue Moondacner. "Weren't you just telling Monica to stay clear of the monsters?"

"She doesn't have meta powers like we do, Starlight. He can't-- shit!" Twilight said as she latches on to Moondancer then she then got carried then got thrown off. "That could have gone better."

"Need a hand, Twi?" Monica said as she held her up as she wearing a black and burnt orange suit and then gave her one. "There's armor for everyone. If we're gonna stop these guys, you're going to need a lot more than moving stuff with your mind."

"Your right about that," Twilight to herself as Starlight crashed into the truck.

"I can't stop her," Starlight said.

"Want to wear a cool costume, maybe absorb some of those hits?" Twilight suggested.

"Yes, please."

"Time to goodbye, Simon," Snaptrap armed his dagger.

"Get away from him!" Monica shouted as came down on her flyer and then did it again only for Snaptrap to slice it in half.

...

"Hey, Moondancer," Both Starlight and Twilight surrounded her. "You look lost."

"Starlight, stay back," Twilight told her.

"She's still my friend, Twilight... Moondancer, It's Starlight. I'm here to help you. Let me do that. Let me help my best friend."

As Starlight tired to calm her down, Twilight heard Monica's voice causing her to run over there.

"Finally, just you and me," Snaptrap said. "Now you'll regret all you've done."

"No, don't, you're gonna kill him!" Monica said as she was on the ground.

"Back off, Snaptrap!" Twilight came in at the last second as Snaptrap had just thrust his staff on her instead of Caleb and what Snaptrap nor Monica know is that Twilight used wrist shackles on electro mode and short out the staff.

"Why would do this?"

"Because he's my best friend," Monica said while holding his laser.

"You!?" He exclaimed then got blasted into a wall.

"Thanks, for saving my life, Monica," Twilight said as she got up.

"You saved my dad's, it's what friends do."

"You're going to need more than friendship to beat me," Snaptrap said as he got up.

"You have to be--"

Then Starlight came from behind.

"I know a girl who'd love to help."

"You are hardly a match for Snaptrap."

"I didn't say it was me," Starlight said as Moondancer came in front of him.

"The thrill of the hunt," Twilight exclaimed as she got under him and kicked him out cold.

"How did you that?" Monica asked.

"Beneath all that scary, Moondancer's still in there. I just reached her on an emotional level," Starlight said then Caleb left them as well.

"Don't worry, Monica, Caleb's not himself. we'll find him, and we'll help him."

"How?"

"We got this tracker, and he's one monster in a city of eight million people," Then the tracker shows multiple pings. "Make that three people in a city of eight million monsters."

"Oh, crap, look like it's a monster week on Meta-Island," Starlight exclaimed.
