It was fine day in Canterlot City as Rainbow Dash and Rarity were walking to school.

“It such glorious day for a walk isn’t Rainbow Dash,” Rarity exclaimed.

“You got that right,” Rainbow said as they turned the corner and something really bad. “Not her again.”

Rainbow saw her rival Lightning Dust picking on Lily Pad, the little girl that Pinkie Pie always watch.

“I said I don’t like you on my side of the street,” Lighting Dust threatened her.

“Hey!” Rainbow pushed her away from her. “Leave the kid alone!”

“No one asked you to butt in, Dash!” Garble came in.

“Says you,” Rainbow cracked her knuckles. “Unless you want a go for rounds.”

“You win this time,” Lightning grumble as she and her gang left.

“Are you okay?” Rarity asked.

“I’m fine. What’s her deal with me? I’d didn’t do anything wrong,” Lily groaned.

“You did nothing wrong darling, she’s had brash attitude towards everyone.”

“Back in grade school, both me and Fluttershy had our share of bullies.”

“What did you do?”

“Easy, work the courage to stand tall against them. And that’s real power! Oh no!”

“Oh no, what?”

“Oh no, there’s some sort of Destroyer headed for Simon Academy!”

“We need to help people before thing does something drastically.”

“Calling the police.”

“Nice thinking, come Rarity,” Rainbow grabbed her hand and took off at blazing speed.

At Simon Academy, The Destroyer crashed through the window and walk to Caleb.

“Simon,” The Destroyer projected a screen of William Rhodes. “I’ve come for you.”

“William Rhodes, it’s about time you returned my Destroyer,” Caleb said.

“I had every right to keep it. You didn’t deliver your end of the bargain. Didn’t give me a faculty position at Simon Academy after I framed your daughter for sabotage just like you asked.”

“Leave us.”

“Can’t do that. Under orders.” A bodyguard asked.

“The order came from me, you dumbass!”

Both of the bodyguards left and Caleb deactivated the shield.

“These things take time, William. You need to be patient.”

“In exactly one minute, this Destroyer will explode, taking you and your school with—“

Matterhorn came from out of nowhere and kicked it.

“Am I late for class?” Matterhorn asked.

“Matterhorn, you fool! That thing’s a bomb and it’s about to go off in Two minutes.”

“Two minutes? I can make my own Destroyer in that time, let alone diffuse one.”

Matterhorn put a anti-gravity mine on it and carried to the top of the building then her Danger Radar went off.

“Wait a minute. Danger Radar going off? That wasn’t two minutes! It's about to blow!”

The Destroy went kaboom shattering the glass of Simon Tower and Matterhorn felt the blast was falling.

With Rainbow and Rarity.

“We need to get inside!” Rainbow exclaimed then bumped into William.

“My bad,” Rainbow apologized.

“Watch we’re you going!”

“Here let us help you,” Rarity picked up the gem and Rainbow the necklace with lighting bolt charm.

“Give me that!” William grabbed the briefcase.

“How rude!” Rarity exclaimed.

“Matterhorn!” A worker shouted seeing The Masked Matterhorn falling.

“Oh heavens, she falling and not pulling out of it!”

“On it!”

Rainbow used her speed and did some cool parkour moves and grabbed her, then Rarity conjured a pink bed for Rainbow to landed on.

“Okay, how in the hell do that?” Rainbow asked.

“And where did that pink bed come from?” Rarity asked as both of them left.

“My head,” Matterhorn exclaimed. “What in— There’s no way I fell all that way and survived. But how?”

…

“I got it,” William walked inside a lab holding the briefcase. “And you were right. The bum was a perfect distraction.”

“And no one saw you?” The man asked.

“Just two kids, but we don't have to worry about.”

“Do not underestimate anyone, Rhodes. Especially now that you’re working with Stargazer Shadow.”’

“Relax, Stargazer. Our mutual hate for Caleb Simon is more than enough to take him down. He’ll learn he can’t renege on promises and get away with it. And now that you’re out of prison, there’ll be no stopping us. Just one question, How did you get out of prison exactly?”

“What happened to the amulet and the gem!? I need the energy for all eight artifacts, and both the Thunderer and the Pink Sapphire are missing! Where are they?”

…

“Monica!” Twilight enters the building.

“Twilly? What are you doing here?” Monica asked.

“I heard there was an attack at Simon Academy? You okay?”

“No, I’m fine, thanks. I wasn’t anywhere near the attack but get this, turns out it was another Destroyer. You know, the kind the attack Crystal Prep that day.”

“No kidding l. And who stopped it?”

“Matterhorn did if that’s what you’re asking. But more importantly, now we know who was controlling it—William Rhodes.”

“I wonder why a scientist like Mr. Rhodes would control something like that?”

“Beats me.”

Much later Sunset Shimmer was walking to school to meet with the girls for band practice.

“Okay, Rhodes. It’s not your style to blow something up. Especially a school your son attends. So what is your game plan? And why would Caleb lied about the Destroyer coming after Monica?”

“What in the world?” Sunset saw a group of muggers knocked out and police showed up.

“What happened here?”

“You tell me, ma'am? The shop owner was about to call 911… then out of nowhere, two more superheroes show up. One came with thunder and the other had pink kendo staffs.”

“Did you know where they went?”

“Went that way?” The officer pointed in the direction they went.

“I’ll look into it."

Sunset took off in search of the new heroes and came across two individuals. One of them had rainbow-colored hair that stuck with a black and white headgear wearing a black jumpsuit with thunderbolt markings and having a lightning bolt necklace around her neck. The other was wearing an indigo jumpsuit, had diamonds in her hair, and a diamond-embedded necklace and blue mask conceal her identity perfectly.

"Wait a minute. Rainbow, Rarity is that you?" Sunset asked.

"Why yes darling, Only I go by Radiance," Rarity said.

"And my codename is Zapp," Rainbow Dash exclaimed. "And how awesome is this? Were superheroes like The Masked Matterhorn! And now the world is listening to Rainbow Dash! I can’t wait to show everyone!”

“Rainbow, wait!” Sunset grabbed her arms. “I know you’re excited, but there a reason why Matterhorn has secret identity for a reason. Being a superhero is dangerous. You can’t just go around sharing your sharing your private with everyone you know.”

“You’re right,” Rainbow sighed.

Very Much Later in the Band Room at Canterlot High School.

“Check it out!” Rainbow did a selfie and others stumped.

“Unbelievable,” Sunset glared at her.

“What? I’m not telling everyone. Just our friends.”

“Is this a trick?” Applejack followed.

“Nope, both Rainbow and Rarity really has powers,” Sunset simply said. “Now sit down, so we do some tests.”

“A test? I don’t need a test. That’s work. I want to work and show off what I can do.”

“Rainbow, both you and Rarity have received strange and mysterious superpowers,” Pinkie said. “And that not a coincidence… maybe we all get super powers!”

“I wonder that myself?” Fluttershy asked.

At Simon Tech.

“What is it, Gunther?” Caleb asked.

“Stargazer Shadow’s confiscated experiment is missing,” Gunther explained.

“It just had happened during the Destroyer attack. Meaning it was a distraction? Pretty clever. Especially for William Rhodes. Which makes me think he’s not working alone.”

“Rhodes couldn’t have known about them without some inside knowledge. But Stargazer is the only other person, who knows about it, and he’s in prison.”

“Then that means William is working for Stargazer or I’ve underestimated him. Either way, they could very dangerous in the wrong hands.”

“Why do you say that?”

“Stargazer came to me once with a plan for an army. Human soldiers when exposed to these artifacts would gain a strange number of powers. I’ll admit it was intriguing. But I found his behavior to be erratic, inconsistent, so I confiscated them.”

“Then why not destroy them?”

“Because I couldn’t be certain that there were only toys. And if he does succeed in his plan of his, I’ll need a something similar to create an antidote.”

“Do I detect a hint of fear, Caleb?”

Caleb opens the door of Spencer Rhodes making Destroyers casing Gunther to be surprised.

“Fear, Gunther, is for people who are not prepared. I’m more concerned with who was the upper hand.”

“The Destroyers. You created them to battle this army in the event that Stargazer Shadow succeeded.”

“Merely a precaution or as of today, prevention. We need to get them back from William Rhodes before he gets them to Stargazer.”

“And how to do you suppose we do that?”

“Easy. We used a Rhodes to catch a Rhodes.”

…

“Looks like we found the recipient of the missing artifacts,” William said looking at Zapp and Radiance on the news.

“There’s a good chance that Caleb is seeing this as well. Meaning he'll want those two as much as we do. Take the Destroyer and get to them first.”

…

“You tell your mom, I hate bologna,” Lighting and her gang threatened another kid. “If I’m going steal your lunch, I at least want to enjoy it.”

“Hey, bad hair losers!” Zapp showed up. “Leave him alone!”

“Oh hell yeah, Matterhorn!” Lighting exclaimed.

“New costume?” Gilda asked.

“No,” Zapp hoisted Lighting in the air. “My name is Zapp and you’re in my neighborhood. Now, still think it’s fun to push people around?”

Zapp drops her to the ground.

“We don’t push people around.”

“Oh no? What about this Lily Pad kid you picked this morning?”

“Who?”

Zapp grabbed her again and put her near a lamp.

“Don’t play dumb with me because I will give you a shock that you’ll never forget. In fact, I will—, Zapp threatened her without knowing The Masked Matterhorn was behind her then Lighting and her gang left. “Yeah, better run!”

“Oh Matterhorn, what’s up dude! You brought me a superhero welcome basket or something?”

“You were a little tough on those kids, don’t you think?” Matterhorn asked.

“No way, dude. They’re bullies. They’re always picking on people.”

“Just be careful not to become a bully yourself. Revenge is not what being a hero is about.”

“No way, you’re my hero.”

“Oh, we’ll, in the case, I’d like to share something with you. Someone very smart pence told me with great power comes great responsibility.”

“Response-a-what-now? I got an amazing necklace and teach some bullies a lesson. So what? This is my neighborhood, and I want to make sure everyone feels safe.”

“That’s another thing. There’s a reason for secret identities. You shouldn’t be giving so much personal information. Do you realize you just told a live Television audience where you live?”

“You saw the interview. Did I look great or what?”

“Yes. And now anyone who wants to challenge you knows exactly where to find you.”

“Please! No’s one coming after me.”

Then a giant-sized Destroyer appeared causing people to run.

“Zapp, I have come for you.” It exclaimed.

“Great timing for the powers.”

“Get to safety while I take this Destroyer down.”

Both Zapp and Matterhorn drop to the robot’s level.

“Not a chance, were taking this robot together.”

“You’re not ready for this.”

“We can take him. It’s two-on-one.”

Then another giant sized Destroyer came on the other side.

“Damn it!”

“Now this is what about talking about!”

Zapp head for one of them.

“Don’t, your not ready—“ The Purple Destroyer tossed Matterhorn aside. “Sorry Destroyers, hunting season is over.”

“Why’s my head ringing?” Zapp asked as the green Destroyer fired an electric net and Matterhorn grabbed her out of way.

“That’s your Danger Radar. It means you need to move!”

Both dodged the laser and net.

The purple one retracted robot arms and capture Zapp while the green one send Matterhorn hurling into a car. Then green one smash the robot extra arms.

“Back off! He’s mine!” Spencer exclaimed.

“Spencer, is that you? What are you doing?” William asked.

“Following orders, Dad!” Spencer shot back. “This Zapp is part of an experiment that was stolen from Simon Tech.”

The Green Destroyer fired toxic goo at Zapp.

“Whoa, no need to get sticky here!” as she avoids it.

“Don’t you see, they’re only after you, you need to get out here!”

“Not to worry darlings,” Radiance came and fire two energy bolts at them.

“What she said I ain’t running away!” Zapp fired a lightning bolt at it!

“Caleb stole that experiment,” William told his son and fired lasers at the heroes.

“Just like you stole his Destroyer?”

“This one may be started at his…but it’s been enhanced by a true genius.”

“So has this one.”

The Purple one bring two electric whips and the green one charge it’s cannons.

“Take advantage of them of arguing and you two get out of here,” Matterhorn suggested. “I’ll take care of it.”

“If your staying I'm staying,” Zapp exclaimed.

“May best Destroyer win.”

“You asked for it.”

Both of the Destroyers fought each other and both Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo were dangling from a building.

“Hang on, I’m coming,” Radiance came to their aid and rescue them but most of the building collapsed on her the William grabbed her but not Matterhorn fired an ice beam at it.

“Let her go!”

Spencer unveil his vacuum on Matterhorn.

“It appears there’s no getting to the newbies, with you in the way, Matterhorn. Unfortunately, those two need to be alive.”

“Perhaps, maybe The Matterhorn was right,” Zapp admitted. “Never should’ve told them where I live.”

The wind caught both Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo but Matterhorn grabbed both of them.

“Leave them alone!” Zapp let out and electric blast shorted both of the Destroyers “Oh shit did I do that?”

“No way did she can do that?” Matterhorn asked Radiance in response shook her head.

“Oh crap it’s back up again!” Sweetie Belle exclaimed as Spencer’s robot got back up.

“If that Destroyer so determined to suck something in, I give it what it wants.”

Radiance picked up the purple Destroyer’s arm.

“Get out of the way, it’s about to fall!” Sweetie Belle.

“Don’t worry I got it.” She threw it at the core and got it jammed.

“Damn it! Eject! Eject!” Spencer escapes his Robot.

“Not a bad idea, son,” William did the same and ejected.

“And where do you think your going?” Zapp said as she and the others followed him.

William’s cockpit landed near where Lightning Dust and her gang were hanging.

“Out of my way, worms,” William pushed all of them aside. “Or wipe the street with you.”

“Hey!” Lightning Dust exclaimed as she drop her phone.

“Hey!" Zapp picked up Lightning’s phone. “Nobody bullies the people in my neighborhood!”

“Or city for that matter,” Matterhorn added as she froze him. “He’s very territorial.”

“In your face!” As Lightning’s gang got his face.

…

“I failed, Mr. Simon,” Spencer walked back to Simon Academy.

“Did your father capture those heroes?”

“No, sir.”

“Then the battle is not over. In fact, the war has just begun.”

…

“I can’t believe you have electric blasts, I can see why called yourself Zapp.”

“Yeah, I can’t believe I’m mess up so badly.”

“I know going believe me I’ve messed plenty of times but in the end I came through big time. Both of you did, but if we want to avoid something like that. Then your going to need some serious training on how hero.”

“What are saying?” Radiance asked.

“What I’m saying is welcome aboard.”
