Equestria didn't seem to change a bit. Ever since Twilight took over the throne, she wasn't just ruling people, she was also ruling their hearts. There was nothing that could get any better in the perfect land,

Well, almost everything,

"Spike! You won't believe it! Cadence is abdicating the throne, so . . . ICKLE FLURRYKINS IS TAKING OVER THE CRYSTAL EMPIRE!" Twilight was so excited that she couldn't believe her eyes.

"Ickle Flurrykins? Do you mean Flurry Heart? Your niece?" Spike was puzzled by all the excitement and shouting.

"YES! YES! YES!"

Soon, they heard heavy hoofsteps, and the royal guards came running into the throne room to see if their precious princess was in trouble. They bowed so low that their muzzles were almost touching the fine carpets.

"Your majesty! Is there trouble around here?"

"Nope! Her Majesty just forgot a few royal etiquettes," Spike imitated an 'over-the-top-Rarity-voice'.

"I should probably stop shouting," Twilight said as she and Spike teleported to Ponyville with a snap.

"Twilight! This is such a great thing! Our little Flurry, all grown up!" Rarity shed a few dramatic tears.

"Yeah! I can't wait for the coronation. I hope it's not as chaotic as yours, Twilight," said Rainbow Dash, in her raspy voice.

"Chaotic it was or it was not. But, it was something unforgettable. And we knew Discord wasn't the one responsible" said Twilight.

Everyone agreed . . . in a weird way.

"Now I've got a few things checked out of my checklist. SPIKE! Are we ahead of schedule?"

"Not exactly, Twi. We should be in the Crystal Empire right now," Spike was scanning the list to see if something wasn't missing.

"OH NO!"

"Gee, Tw'l'gh'! Ya look l'ke you can use some 'elp. Ahm so exc'ted, ah cou'd buck a few apples down!" said Applejack as she flung her hind legs in the air.

"Ofcourse I need some help. Applejack! You're in charge of the food," said Twilight as Applejack saluted her.

"Rainbow, you need to make sure the weather is perfect and do a little fancy formation in the sky."

"Yes ma'am!"

"Rarity, you should design Flurry's coronation gown,"

"With pleasure, darling!"

"Pinkie, you are up for decor,"

"Eeek! This is getting super party-tastic!"

"Fluttershy should do the music. With the help of her animal friends, ofcourse,"

"I'd be honoured,"

"Perfect! The coronation is not until the next week, so, I hope you all can manage," Twilight smiled.

"Right! No time to waste! RainbowFlare! Get your dad! Tell him to command all the Wonderbolts and meet me at the Wonderbolts HQ. We've got a routine to plan!" RainbowDash commanded her daughter. Flare nodded and they both zoomed swiftly, leaving their rainbow trail behind.

"Dad? Commanding the Wonderblts?" Twilight asked.

"Oh, that's Soarin, Spitfire got retired and he was next in command. He's the Captain now," Rarity explained.

"I see. Very well, I'm off. I hope everything goes great," Twilight teleported back to Canterlot Castle.

"Mother! We are out of Pigeon-Blood Rubies and Pink Quartz and Baby-Blue Sapphires," Dignity drawled in her Mid-Atlantic accent, and was replied in the same accent, from her mother.

"Yes, yes, I have them here. The coronation is today! And we haven't even finished the dress! Oh! What - Ever - Shall - We - Do!" Rarity dramatically fainted on her 'Fainting-Couch'

"Relax, mother! We are almost done," she then delicately levitated a few gems and, with rapt attention carved on her face, finished the gown.

"Oh, my darling daughter! I don't know what I'd do without you! Come here my precious Beryl," Rarity tried to suffocate Dignity with a bone-breaking hug, but they soon broke apart.

Back on the SweetApple Acres, Applejack was getting everything ready,

"Is the cake perfect? Wha' about the pies? And--"

"We have everything under control, Sis" AppleBloom spoke as she was munching an apple.

"Yeah, you should stop freaking around like that, Mama," said SweetApple.

Fluttershy was getting her birds ready for the melody during the coronation,

"Now now, birdie, remember the tune. We want it to be melodious," Fluttershy said in her quite voice. The bird just nodded in return.

Then the birds started chirping a sweet but catchy melody.

"FLUTTERSHY!" the melody was broken by an ear piercing shriek.

"Oh, um . . . Hi, Discord,"

"Really? You aren't so excited to see me here," Discord put on a sad face.

"Oh, no no! It's just that . . . Twilight doesn't want Flurry's coronation to be chaotic,"

"Chaotic? Oh! Why didn't you just say so?" Discord snapped his fingers and disappeared with a crack.

"Huh?"

Rainbow dash was practising the flying routine with her fellow Wonderbolts.

"Keep it higher, Soar! You are ruining it," Rainbow yelled.

"I think she's forgetting who really is the captain," Fleetfoot smirked at Soarin.

"Anything for Dashie" Soarin said flatly.

Pinkie was adding finishing touches to the decor with CheeseSandwich.

"Just a pinch more of glitter, Cheesie! It's Crystal Empire, you know. Crystals are glittery so we should be glittery!!" Pinkie added a whole can-full of glitter on Cheese.

"Pinkie, I think we will be 'glittery' when the Crystal Heart is activated," Cheese said coughing glitter.

"Oh! That! Ya know, I've never been to a Crystal-Coronation before. Guess it'll be much more fun than the normal coronation,"

"Yeah, I guess. Anyway, I brought a huge party canon just for the occasion! TAN TANA TAN TANA TAA!" He pulled out a humungous, gigantic canon which could fit almost 50 ponies inside.

"Aaah! This is great! The whole coronation is gonna be great!"

"You think Cheesecake will be fine withe cake twins?"

"Yeah," cheese said casually.

When the time came for them to meet at the train station, everyone seemed extremely busy,

"ALL ABOARD TO THE CRRRYSTAL EMMPIRE!" an announcement was heard which snapped the ponies back to reality,

"Oh! I can't believe it's about time! Oh! I just hope the dress is perfect. Fancypants told me he'll send me an oval shaped pink diamond! But he seems to have been lost track of time,"

"Well, worry about that later. BOARD THE TRAIN FIRST!" Rainbow dash yelled.

"Yeah! Yeah! We're gettin' ins'de, girl," Applejack said.
