The Twins

"So, you excited bout picking up Zelia?" You ask with a knowing smile as your girlfriend of two years was practically skipping down the road. Not that you could blame her since they hadn't seen each other since, but they did exchange letters often.

"Sure am! I mean this is the longest we've gone without seeing each other, and it's been kind of weird. I mean we heard about twins having a special connection with each other, but actually feeling it is a whole other world!" Zelra said as she stopped to look back at you with a big smile. "She's almost here, I can feel it."

"I bet, and it's something I've always believed myself. Just can't wait to see what she's like," You say as you catch up, which as you did you gave her a little peck on the nose. This made her roll her eyes but her smile seemed to grow.

"You remember how we first met?" Zelra asked, which you of course did.

You were on a research trip to study the plant life in Zebrica, which you were glad you did as not only were you apart of the team that discovered a new flower but also found Zelra along the way. Which she was staying at the same village as you were as part of the Zebra team that also helped with guidance and of course translations in case our normal translator wasn't around. You two became very close in the six months you were both there, and she ultamitly decided to come to Equestria with you.

But in those first six months you found out that her sister was studying to become a Potion Master and was even participating in the completion to become an apprentice to Zecora. Zecora was said to be the best of the best in her skills, and since she lives in the Everfree she had access to all kinds of rare plants there to use. It something the two profession had in common, as you did have to have an understanding of the plants you are using in potions.

You knew all this because you were constantly asked by different potion brewers about what plants they would most likely need for a particular potion. Which you did pick up a lot of tips and tricks and did potion brewing as a hobby. While you weren't great at it you were definitely better than most hobbist, so you were hoping that would be a good way to make a connection to Zelia.

"That look means you're going down memory lane!" Zelra said in a chiper tone making you look at her.

Today she was wearing a nice shirt with a lilly printed on the front, with a mid-calf length light blue skirt with of course flip-flops on. Her hair was down to her shoulder blades and was very wavy naturally, and to top it off was her beautiful emerald green eyes. Every time you met her eyes you couldn't help the smile that spread across your face, which you knew she had that effect on others as well but it seemed to really work with you.

"Well, can you blame me?" You ask as you not so sneakly grabbed her ass.

"Sttooopp, we're in public!" Zelra said her cheeks going red, though she now had a flirty smile of her own to match the one you know had.

"Wouldn't be the first time," You say trying to hold in a laugh at how red she was going.

"We only did that once, in an empty building. Now can you stop laughing at me?" Zelra asked with a little pout.

"Fine, fine but I will say that its been a few days since the last time we did anything," You reply making her laugh a bit.

"I know, but we've both been busy the past couple of days. Besides I do have something planned for tomorrow," Zelra said giving you a little wink as she traced a finger down your chest before stopping just above your waist. You could feel yourself getting hard as she did this.

"Can't wait, but since it's gonna be tomorrow, and I'll hold you to that, why don't we go pick up your sister?" You ask as she laughed as you awkwardly suffle around trying to hide your hard on as best as you could. But Zelra nodded before you both continue just enjoying each other's company.

Though you couldn't help the idea's that came to your mind about tomorrow which considering it was Nightmare Night, and all of you were going to a costume party a certain idea kept coming into your idea. But then you had no idea what she was going to dress up as which only made you imagine her in different costumes, though that didn't help with your hard on. Taking a deep breath to clear your mind, though that only worked for a bout two seconds.

"I know that look, and knew you would get a few ideas. Bet you're picturing me in different sexy costumes, like maybe am I gonna be a nurse? Or maybe even a maid?" Zelra teased making you roll your eyes.

"Maybe, but here's the thing, you don't know what I'm dressing as either," You teased making her give a slightly defeated look. "So, to changed the topic why don't you tell me a bit about your sister while we wait?"

"Sure can!" Zelra replied as you two sat at a bench at the train station to wait. She told a few stories you've heard quite a bit over the past couple of years, and even some small tibits that you hadn't known before.

"Attention, the train from Ponyville will be arriving in two minutes. Once again, two minute warning," An announcer said over the intercom making Zelra stop in midsentence as a huge smile came across her face.

"I'm so excited! I wonder what she's been doing, and how her exams went!" Zelra stated in her excitement, which in her defense since Zleia went to ponyville for the apprenticeship for Zecora they hadn't been exchanging as many letters. Especially when she was entered into the finals.

"Yeah, heard no one has manged to pass her test though. But from what I've heard bout your sister, I think she has a pretty good chance," You say as both of you got up to go stand by the loading and unloading area.

"Care to explain what you mean?" Zelra asked as you gave her a knowing smile.

"I know what test Zecora uses to really determine who has the chance to be her apprentice. Before you ask, no I can't tell you as Zecora herself made me swear not to, and besides it's not really something you can really prepare for. You either know it through experience or you don't, and since Zecora lives in the Everfree then it's something you have to know, you know?" You ask trying to hold back your laugh as she looked lost and confused a bit.

"So... you've met Zecora before?" Zelra asked quizzically.

"I could have sweorn I told you, she taught me a lot of the tricks I use now for my hobby," You reply.

"Wait, that was Zecora? I know for a fact she hasn't tooken anyone as an apprentice," Zelra said with a raised eyebrow.

"It wasn't for an apprenticeship, and she does like to teach the basics to anyone who has an interest in it. Like for example, when I was there she was also teaching a little filly by the the name of Applebloom," You explain.

"Huh, didn't know that, and I think you told me that when we first met. But still, that is so awesome you got to meet Zecora! My sister will love that!" Zelra said as the train was coming in.

Which after few seconds the trained slowed to a crawl and then to a stop, it was another thirty seconds before they had the doors open. As both of you stood there waiting for Zelia you could feel Zelra reach out and grab you hand again. Soon enough you saw a Zelia stepping out, but you were a little confused as she looked almost exactly like Zelra.

Sure, most people when they hear of twins they automatically assume they are identical but you have worked with plenty of twins before. Identical twins were very rare, and not to mention Zelra had never mentioned that they were identical. Granted you didn't never asked, and you couldn't blame her since it's what she was used to. But as you looked you could see some minor differences, for one she seemed maybe three to four pounds heavier than Zelra, and she had saphire blue eyes. Other than that, they looked exactly alike.
