As the ship moved through the multiverse, Shine Boy, with his arm bandaged from the fight with Roland, was fighting the Demon version of Roland. He fought well against the demon despite the Demon being too strong. Every time he got hit; an alarm beeped. After tiring out, Shine Boy knelt to the ground as the Demon stood still before disappearing, revealing he was a hologram. Shine Boy looked at a wrist watch to see the screen read:

‘Chance of success: 13%.’

Seeing this made Shine Boy groan in defeat as he pounded the floor. He then got up and pushed a couple buttons, starting up the hologram and was prepared to fight when he heard a voice speak.

“You’re going again?!”

He turned to see Ben standing at the wall. “What is this? Your 35th time?”

“I lost count.” Shine Boy sighed.

“What are you even doing?” Ben asked.

“Trying to prepare. You heard Constantine. It’s only a matter of time before Roland wakes up. And I’m preparing to buy Gamer time in case he doesn’t fix the gauntlet in time.”

“Any luck?” Ben asked curious.

Shine Boy held up his watch. “13%. It keeps decreasing with every try.”

“Then why-!”

“Because I promised to help him! I never go back on my word! I want him to have a chance to see we’re different so he can let the others be more than hurt spectators!” Shine Boy angrily took off the watch and threw to the wall breaking it. He then fell to his knees and whimpered. “I’ve dealt with demons before, but this? It’s like I’m not good enough. And if everyone else has to be put down by regret and guilt, who can I trust?”

Ben responded by placing his hand on Shine Boy’s shoulder. “You can’t give up hope. He knows we’re trying to help him. We’ll find a way. We have to.” As Shine Boy got up, Ben continued. “By the way, Grandpa Max needs us in the briefing room.”

“Get Leo to do it.” Shine Boy dismissed as he began to walk away.

“It’s about the Digidestined.”

That was enough for Shine Boy to turn around.

Six hours earlier

In Shredder’s flag ship, Shredder entered the labs as Vilgax, Ebon, Zedd, Rita, and others joined him while Ripley had the Gem Knights install a machine.

“Ripley.” Shredder spoke getting his attention. “Is everything ready?”

“We just finished and our ready to choose the Digimon to revive.” Ripley reported.

“Good.” Shredder then saw Gladitron and Goldar enter the lab. “Did you two do as I ask?”

“Harley Quinn is contained in the prison below.” Gladitron reported.

“Though why don’t we banish her along with the Joker?” Goldar asked.

“It was annoying enough she tried to change my mind. I want to make double sure that the clown never finds his way back to me. And Ms. Quinn is dumb enough to try anything to get him back so I’m not taking any chances.”

In the prison cells, Harley wore a stray jacket and was chained up.

“I’m a little teapot short and stout.” She sang in a daze.

“Now!” Shredder crossed his arms. “Who are my choices to revive?”

“Observe the monitor.” Ripley said as he pushed a couple buttons. “After defeating Devimon, the Digidestined fought a Digimon called Etemon.

As Ripley spoke, the screen showed an ape with sunglasses. “He had a dark network capable of draining Digimon unable to Digivolve that can work to our advantage. He is even able to Digivolve into MetalEtemon, covered with their steal known as Chrome Digizoid Armor.”

“I believe Shine Boy has a staff made of that stuff.” Luthor recalled.

“Indeed.” Shredder mumbled. “What are his flaws?”

“For one, his voice.” Ripley pushed a button to show a clip of Etemon.

“Now let’s get one straight. Your jives is to make me happy!” He spoke in the impression of Elvis Presley.

“Augh! Hearing that all the time would give me a headache the size of Rhode Island!” Rita griped.

“He’s not a good team player, either. Here, he fought the Dark Master, Puppetmon.” The next clip showed MetalEtemon fighting a wooden puppet as Mimi and Joe escaped.

When they were gone, Puppetmon noticed. “They’re gone!”

MetalEtemon snapped his strings. “It’s your fault, you price of rotten driftwood!”

“You recycled tin can!” Puppetmon shouted.

“Big dumb knothole!” MetalEtemon then tried to tackle Puppetmon who jumped over him. “Hey! Where you going?”

“Home! You’re lousy at name calling!” Puppetmon waved off.

“Yeah? Well, I’m metal and you’re wood! What you say bounces off me and splits you in two!”

Zedd growled as the clip ended. “Idiot! Who writes dialogue like that?”

“If they had worked together, they would’ve captured those two.” Vilgax stated.

“Also, another weapon made of Chrome Digizoid armor can pierce other Chrome Digizoid Armor.” The next clip showed MetalEtemons armor breaking up by Zudomons hammer.

“I’m gonna say no to Etemon.” Shredder squinted. “Who’s next?”

“You said Puppetmon was a Dark master?” Ebon raised a brow.

“One of four mega Digimon.” Ripley showed clips of Puppetmon with a metal sea serpent, a robotic dinosaur, and a clown with swords. “MetalSeadramon, Machinedramon, and Piedmon. The four had conquered the Digital World and made spiral mountain. Individually, they were more than a match for the Digidestined. Killing many of their allies.” He showed random clips of the Dark Masters killing some of the Digidestineds allies, including Whamon and Chuumon.

“Just what we needed. Another clown!” Rita hissed at the sight of Piedmon.

“If he can beat the rangers, I’d take him over Joker any day!” Zedd glared.

“He could also turn them into keychains.” Ripley added as the clip showed Piedmon turning the Digidestined into keychains.

“And what if he does that to us?” Chrysalis snarled.

“The mind worms should keep him at bay.” Shredder stated. “However, after hearing his blunder with Etemon, I was thinking not to revive Puppetmon. What of the other threes flaws?”

As Ripley spoke, more clips were shown. “MetalSeadramon is a loudmouth thinking with his stomach.” A clip showed MetalSeadramon yelling at his servant, Scorpiomon, before killing him for losing to Zudomon and Lillymon. “Machinedramon was beaten by one blow, believing that he was the weakest of the four.” The next clip showed Machinedramon being sliced up by WarGreymon. “And I have to agree with Chrysalis about Piedmon turning on us because of his ego.” The last clip showed Piedmon getting beat by MagnaAngemon.

Shredder only grunted. “Next.”

“This one is my personal favorite.” Ripley pushed a button to reveal a vampire figure. “Myotismon.”

“Hmm. He looks promising.” Chrysalis awed.

“Showoff.” huffed Tirek.

“Out of all the Digimon the Digidestined fought, Myotismon has been the most formidable. He has tried to manipulate the kids to be unable to use these crests which helped their Digimon digivolved further. He's even made fog barriers around cities and cut off the outside which could work to our advantage of Divide and Conquer.” a clip showed a fog covering the Digidestined's hometown. “He has been able to fend off most of the Digimon with little to no effort.” The next clip showed Myotismon deflecting attacks from the Digimon. “He has two forms of Mega. First was VenomMyotismon, a giant form which should fend off against the Power Rangers' Megazord.” On the next clip, VenomMyotismon is seen rampaging through Odaiba while fighting WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon. “The other form is MaloMyotismon, who can use fear to subdue his foes and almost covered the planet in darkness.” The next clip showed MaloMyotismon covering Earth in darkness while deflecting attacks from Imperialdramon, Sylphymon, and Shakkoumon.

“I think we have a winner.” Chrysalis smirked before Shredder glared at her. “But that's not my decision, is it?”

“While his powers of darkness may weaken Shine Boy, it could also power Night Shine as well!” Shredder pointed out. “And if I'm not mistaken, Baxter Stockman warned me he is a backstabber as well, right?”

“Yes. He has turned on his minions. Observe.” Ripley pointed to the screen with VenomMyotismon with his henchmen, DemiDevimon on it.

“There's all those people waiting for you over there!” DemiDevimon smirked. “Remember to start your day with a good breakfast!”

“I'LL BEGIN WITH A LITTLE SNACK!” VenomMyotismon bellowed before taking in a deep breath, sucking DemiDevimon into his mouth.

“Hey! What're you doing? WAAAAAAA!” DemiDevimon was sucked in as VenomMyotismon swallowed him.

“Yeesh!” Tirek winced.

“Worse yet, Look what he did to Arukennimon and Mummymon after he escaped Oikawa.” Ripley pulled up a clip of MaloMyotismon roaring as he grabbed the spider Digimon Arukennimon.

“Ahh! What're you doing? I've been your faithful servant, Master!”

“What do you think I'm doing? Tell me!” MaloMyotismon taunted.

“I don't know!”

“I think you do!” Arukennimon whimpered as MaloMyotismon smirked. “Show me what you're thinking!”

He then brutally hit Arukennimon who screamed in pain, causing the Digidestined to avert their eyes.

“Arukennimon!” Mummymon gasped. “What did you do to her?”

MaloMyotismon kept impaling Arukennimon until his shoulder opened up and devoured her. Angered, Mummymon wrapped his Snake Bandage on MaloMyotismon who broke free with ease.

“You can't hide your fears either. You fear that you don't stand a chance against me. Well guess what? You don't!”

“You don't scare me! You've taken my Arukennimon! And now I'm going to make you PAY for what you did to her!” Mummymon yelled.

MaloMyotismon looked unimpressed. “What do you plan to do? wrap me in another useless Snake Bandage? You scare me even less than these Digidestined fools from the other world.”

“Then I will teach you to fear me!” Mummymon fired a laser at MaloMyotismon who easily deflected it.

“Playtime is over! CRIMSON MIST!” MaloMyotismon fired a red dust at Mummymon who was melted into nothingness in seconds.

Vilgax growled. “I wouldn't trust him for a measly second.”

“While a mind worm could keep him in line, I think he'd be as unpredictable as Piedmon.” Luthor stated.

“On that we agree on, Luthor.” mumbled Shredder while Chrysalis huffed. “So, my answer is no on Myotismon. Who's left?”

“Only two left.” Ripley pulled up a certain long armed Digimon as well as a Digimon with a round head, collar, and winglike arms. “Diaboromon. And Cherubimon.”

He showed a clip of Diaboromon fighting WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon on the Internet as well as hitting Patamon before he could Digivolve and him and his clones firing lasers pummeling the two Megas. The other clips showed Cherubimon fighting Veemon, Armadillomon, Hawkmon, and Terriermon, even juggled the four. He even fought Angemon and Angewomon as well as Magnamon and Rapidmon.

Shredder pondered a bit. “Hmmm. Can you revive both of them?”

“Of course.” Ripley assured.

“Do it.”

“But wait!” Everyone looked at Cozy Glow. “Doesn't one of those Digidestined have Diaboromon as his partner? What was his name? Josh?”

“Oh yeah. and the brat with the Agumon wouldn't trust him!” Lewej recalled.

“All the more reason why I choose him.” Shredder squinted.

Present time

Before Shine Boy went to Max to tell everyone to go to the briefing room, he stopped by the research room and found Sunburst in the middle of a book.

“Hey, Sunburst.” He greeted getting the researchers attention. “Any lead on finding a way to neutralize Roland’s demon side?”

“Nothing yet.” Sunburst rubbed his eyes. “I’ve been reading twelve books all morning and still haven’t found a way. This is isn’t your everyday exorcist. His demon form is extremely powerful if he managed to beat Sombra. If I find anything, I’ll let you know.”

“Dig up what you can.” Shine Boy nodded. “Take all the time you need. We can’t afford to falter now. We may not get another chance. And if someone like Raph pressures you to hurry up, I’ll straighten them out.”

Sunburst chuckled. “I think Starlight’s got that part covered.”

The two laughed at the joke.

“I’ll see if the Twilights and anyone else can help out.” Shine Boy promised.

“I should be fine but thank you.” Sunburst grinned.

As Shine Boy left to leave Sunburst back to his research, he didn’t see Night Shine walking up holding a cup of coffee. As he saw Shine Boy left, he looked back at Sunburst who had his back turned reading. Taking a drink of his coffee, Night Shine just smiled and walked away without saying a word.

Meanwhile, in one of the labs, aka, Gamer’s personal makeshift lab, Gamer was hard at work trying to fix Roland’s gauntlet. Just then, Raph entered the room.

“Hey, Game Boy!” He spoke. “How’s Roland’s gauntlet going?”

Gamer just rolled his eyes. “I told you; I’m working on it. This takes time and concentration.”

“Well, work faster! Roland needs that if we’re going to beat the Shredder! Who knows how long we can hold his demon self!” Raph barked.

“Maybe I can work faster if you turn around and LEAVE ME TO IT!” Gamer snapped back.

“Maybe this will encourage you more.” Raph glared as he cracked his knuckles.

Gamer looked unamused. “Really? You think threats are gonna speed things up? That may work on Donnie, but I’m not falling for it. You wanna help? Then you can help me forge or leave. No option three!”

“You little-!” Raph was about to smack Gamer when suddenly he was shocked to his back. He looked to see a taser ejected from Gamers belt.

“Now, let’s try this again.” Gamer stated. “You gonna help? Or do you want me to shock you so hard that your heart stops?”

“That’s enough!” The two turned to see Green Arrow glaring at the door. “Unless you want to help Gamer fix the gauntlet right, Raphael, you are more distracting than helping! So, leave!”

Raph growled before stomping out. “This isn’t over!”

As he let Raph walk past him, Green Arrow turned to Gamer. “As you were.”

Gamer waved as he went back to work and Green Arrow left. He had just placed the last bit of components together when…

“Just about-.” he then noticed something. “Oh no.”

Suddenly, an explosion was heard in the hallways.

“It came from the lab!” Superman gasped as he, Batman, and Wonder Woman hurried and were joined by Shine Boy, Sunset, Leo, and Max.

They all saw smoke coming out as Gamer came out coughing as faint laughter was heard.

“Gamer!” Shine Boy cried. “You okay?”

“Yeah. Just my work pride is shot.” Gamer coughed.

“What happened?” Batman asked.

“I was just about to finish fixing Roland's gauntlet when at the last minute saw the Joker put a bomb on it.”

“Hera!” gasped Wonder Woman.

Sunset realized something. “Oh no. It's not his Joker Gas, is it?”

Superman used his vision. “No. It's just smoke. not anything hazardous to my knowing.”

“My sinuses would beg to differ.” Gamer griped as Superman sucked in the smoke to clear it out of the lab.

“We better not risk it.” Max spoke. “Gamer, go to medical and get checked out just in case.”

“Don't have to tell me twice.” Gamer nodded while Wonder Woman helped to the medical room.

“What about Roland? We have to find some way to get him back to normal.” Leo stated.

“Maybe Constantine or any of the other magic users might know a way.” suggested Superman.

“But for now, we'll leave him restrained and away from anyone.” Batman added.

Shine Boy took a deep breath. “I'm gonna go check on Gamer.”

As he walked away, he muttered to himself. “That stupid clown.”

After Shine Boy checked with Gamer, the heroes entered the briefing room, Gear saw Donnie whose arm was no longer in a cast.

“How you feeling, D?”

“My arm’s better thanks to Starlight.” Donnie smiled. “I heard about what happened with Gamer and Roland’s gauntlet.”

“Yeah. Not good.” Gear agreed. “Least Games is okay, right?”

“I don’t know.” April worried. “While he checked out okay from Jokers bomb, he looked upset about not being able to fix it.”

“It’s gonna take a miracle to help Roland now.” Donnie sighed before Max spoke up.

“Good, everyone is here.” Said Max. “Thanks for coming.”

“What’s all this about, Max?” asked Bebop.

“Before Jagwar challenged a fight, we recently sent Serenity out on a mission to help recruit more allies to the cause.” Said Max.

“We were able to reach out to the Owl House Crew, as well as Kim Possible and the American Dragon’s crew.” Said Batman, “But we’re still trying to track down Carmen Sandiego.”

“It’s been a while since we’ve heard from them.” Said Rarity, remembering Carmen and her group.

“What about…er…” said Rainbow as she felt nervous.

“Your boyfriend?” teased Mikey, causing Rainbow to glare at him.

“We were able to make contact with Yod,” said Max, “They’ll be here as soon as they can.”

“Serenity briefly came back to make sure everyone was okay.” Said Batman. “Afterwards she continued searching for the next one on the list.”

“The Digidestined.” Said Ben.

“Been while since we’ve seen comrade Digidestined and Digimon.” Said Rocksteady.

“For reals, yo.” Said Bebop, “Haven’t seen them since that time Josh and his partner Keramon joined the group. So, when is Serenity going to bring em in?”

“She would’ve,” said Max, “Until we received a message.”

Max pressed the desk, causing a hologram of Serenity to appear.

“I don't know how long I can keep up radio silence. Half the Digidestined are captured by Shredder's forces. I'm with the rest of them, but we need help. We're in the Digital World at these quadrants! Please bring backup. And whatever you do, Watch out for Josh!”

Shine Boy grasped his hands in worry for Serenity’s safety, whilst everyone looked confused.

“Wait, watch out for Josh?” said Donnie in confusion.

“What does that mean?” asked Twilight.

“And how did Shredder capture half the team?” asked Sunset.

“We don’t know.” Said Max, “The message she sent was three hours ago. Thankfully she sent secret coordinates within the message and we were able to track her there.”

He showed them the coordinates whilst the others looked.

“Wait, that’s in the Digital world.” Said Starlight.

“Though I don’t recognize that part of the area.” Said Keno.

“We’ll figure that out later,” said Leo, “We’ll need to get down there. Cause if our friends are in trouble, they’ll need our help.”

“But what about Roland,” said Venus in worry, “We can’t just leave him there.”

“Don’t you worry there, love.” Said Constantine, “We’ll be keeping an eye on him. And most of the blokes here won’t abandon him that easily. And I might have a proposal that might work.”

“Oh, no.” groaned Wonder Woman.

“Hear him out first,” said Mikey, then looked at Constantine, “What’s the plan, dude?”

“Well, dude,” said Constantine, slightly mocking Mikey, but continued, “A small group with teams of four will go and find these so called Digidestined friends of yours, whilst the rest stay here and hold the fort.”

“But who’s going to be Team Leader?” asked Nightwing, wondering who will go. “Except for Raph.”

“What?!” said Raph, but Leo cleared his throat, signaling and reminding Raph of what happened last time he tried to lead, making him groan. “Fine.”

“I have the answer.” Said Batman, then pointed at Shine Boy and said, “Shine Boy will be team leader.”

“Me?” said a surprised Shine Boy.

“Not just you,” said Batman, “But Sunset, Leonardo, and Venus included.”

This surprised the others. But just before they could say anything, Batman said, “It was on Roland’s request before he fought the Shredder in case anything would happen to him.”

This surprised everyone again. But then Sunset asked, “Would it be alright if we brought Princess Twilight and her friends too? I mean the Digidestined are also their friends, plus they could use the experience.”

“Right,” said Bebop whilst realizing it as well, “She and her posse never got to see the Digital World first hand either.”

“Very well then,” said Batman as he assigned the teams. “Leo, Sunset, Princess Twilight, and Shine Boy will lead their teams. Invictus, Silverbolt, Fugitoid, Bebop, Rocksteady and the CMC will go with Venus.”

“We’ll start getting the portal ready.” Said Gears.

“Though you sure you guys can handle this?” said Static.

“Don’t worry bro, we got this.” Said Mikey, “Plus we know some cool Digimon there that can help us too.”

“If they’re around.” Said Donnie, “They’re always going from one place to the others.”

“True, true.” Said Mikey, “However, there’s one thing that you don’t know.”

“What’s that?” groaned Raph.

“I know where that place is.” Said Mikey, which surprised the others. “Josh told me about it, he says it’s where two of his buddies, Digitamamon and Tapirmon are.”

“Oh yeah, now I remember.” Said Rainbow Dash, “Those two own a noodle shop over there.”

“You think they might be there?” asked Wonder Woman, whilst also wondering what they’re talking about.

“It’s the only safe place that any of us could think of.” Sunset.

“Alright then,” said Superman as he stood up, “We’ll hold the fort and try to hear if any of our allies have answered our calls. In the meantime, all of you do what you can for the Digidestined. If they really are in trouble, bring the ones you can here, and once we figure out where the others are taken, we’ll organize a rescue operation.”

“Alright then,” said Leo whilst he got up, “You can count on us.”

Everyone soon left, with Sunset being worried for Roland at the same time. She stopped and watched one of the security monitors. She saw Roland had been put inside an isolated stasis pod, whilst the recently arrived Constantine, Zatanna, and Dr. Fate, came over and continued to place their spell over Roland, in order for him to remain in that state.

She felt a hand on her shoulder and saw Shine Boy, Rarity, Applejack, and Rainbow Dash with her, with concerned looks on their faces.

“We’ll find a way to help, Sunset.” Said Shine Boy.

Sunset nodded and left with the others. Then she asked, “How are Apple Bloom and the others doing?”

“The girls are still a bit shaken,” said Rainbow, then sighed and said, “So much for trying to protect them and making sure they didn’t see that, especially to their remnant counterparts.”

“Still,” said Rarity as she remembered their revenant selves, “What they said…I cannot help but pity Roland.”

“Now ah know how he feels.” Said Applejack. Then said, “Ah failed to help a friend once from way back before we met the Turtles. Ah’m not doin the same again.”

“That goes for all of us.” Said Rainbow.

Sunset took a breath and said, “Alright. But we’d better do this fast.”

The girls then ran ahead to catch up with the others.

The Digital World

From what appeared to be a bamboo forest, a portal opened from within. And from the portal, caused Leo, Sunset, Princess Twilight, Shine Boy, Venus, and their teams to come out whilst looking around at the same time. However, they were not the only ones there, for Static, Gears, and the Teen Titans also accompanied them.

“You know, you guys didn’t have to come with us.” Said Applejack.

“We also wanted to get in some of the action.” Said Gear.

“Plus, it’s been a while since we did anything together.” Said Cyborg.

“So, this is the Digital World?” asked Princess Twilight as this is her first time here.

“Sure, looks peaceful.” Said pony Applejack.

“You wouldn’t be thinking that if you were nearly burnt to a crisp whilst minding your own business.” Said Raph.

“That really bad, huh?” asked Amethyst. Then noticed the attire Rarity was wearing. “Though I have to admit, the outfits you wear really works for you.”

“Aw, thank you so much, darling.” Said Rarity before kissing Amethyst.

“Ooooh,” said pony Pinkie Pie as she zipped over and took a few whiffs at a pool nearby. “Mmmm, smells amazing.”

Amethyst Majesty went over and took out his foldable cup and took a small sample.

“You carry that thing with you, yo?” asked Bebop in confusion.

“Of course,” said Amethyst, “You never might know when you come across a spring and want to test if it’s fresh to drink or not.”

“Can’t argue with that.” Said Donnie.

Amethyst tasted it, and was surprised by what he tasted.

“Comrade, Amethyst, what is it?” asked Rocksteady.

“You’re not gonna believe this,” said Amethyst, “It’s soup.”

“Soup?!” said the gang in surprise.

“Why the heck would they want to put soup in the middle of a lake?” asked Blue Beetle.

“I don’t know, but I wanna jump in!!” said Beast Boy before turning into a rhino and jumped in the air. “Cannon…!!!”

Suddenly Beast Boy got bashed and crashed against some of the bamboo, surprising everyone.

“Get away from that soup!!”

Everyone turned and saw two Digimon. One looking like an egg, named Digitamamon, and another being with cloud for legs named Tapirmon.

“That soup is off limits to anyone!!” said Tapirmon.

The ones that don’t know stood in position for a fight.

“Wait!!” said the ones that do, making them stop.

“They’re friends.” Said Sunset.

Seeing Team Shine, the Rainbooms, Turtles, CMC, Bebop and Rocksteady, the two Digimon instantly recognized them.

“Wait, is that team Shine and their friends?” said Tapirmon surprised.

“What are all of you doing here?” said Digitamamon.

“We’re looking for our Digidestined friends of ours.” Said Leo, “We got a message from one of our allies that she’s found a few and that are in hiding.”

This caused both Digitamamon to be concerned, as well as Tapirmon.

“We know where they are, but they asked us to keep them hidden.” Said Digitamamon.

“Don’t worry,” said Princess Twilight whilst Beast Boy groaned and walked back to the group once he was back in his normal form, “All of you have our word that we won’t say anything.”

“Very well then, follow me.” Said Digitamamon as they followed him.

When all of a sudden, Shine Boy felt something take his hand, and saw it was Tapirmon.

“We need to talk, it’s important.” Said Tapirmon.

Shine Boy could see the look in his eyes, meaning this must be very serious if he wanted to talk to him alone. The two of them quickly moved to a different spot, with the two of them talking alone.

“What’s this about?” asked Shine Boy.

“It’s about Josh.” Said Tapirmon.

“Josh?” muttered Shine Boy, “What about him?”

“The Digidestined thinks he betrayed them.”

“What?!” exclaimed Shine Boy, but was immediately quiet. Then he looked around making sure the others weren’t listening. “Why would they think that?”

“Cody can explain it because he’s there.” Said Tapirmon, “But it doesn’t make any sense. Josh would never betray the others, not after he worked so hard to gain their trust. And Digitamamon and I know that Josh would never do something like this.”

Shine Boy then thought about something, and asked, “Is it possible that it could be an imposter?”

“Could be.” Said Tapirmon, “But unless you know someone who can tell the difference, they’ll most likely try to attack him on sight.”

Shine Boy then thought about something.

“Hmmm,” hummed Shine Boy. That’s when it clicked, he did know someone. Or in this case…two someone’s. “I think I know who can help us.”

Shine Boy held Tapirmon’s shoulders and said, “Thanks for telling me this. This will be a big help.”

“Anything to help my friends.” Said Tapirmon.

Shine Boy and Tapirmon then quickly went back to others. But then he remembered that Roland had asked Shine Boy, Venus, Leo, and Sunset to lead the teams. So, he quickly went over to the rest of the team leaders.

“Leo,” said Shine Boy, gaining his, Sunset, and Venus’ attention. “I gotta quickly go back. I know a few more folks who can help us out.”

“Will you be long?” asked Venus.

“Depends how far they are.” Said Shine Boy as he moved away, “Don’t worry, I’ll be back as soon as I can.”

He quickly went for cover and used his Shine Dimensionizer to open a portal to a specific world that he needed to go to. Once it was open, he quickly jumped on through and closed it behind him.

Soon enough, they arrived at a place that nearly resembled the streets of Chinatown.

“Whoa, nice digs.” Said Rainbow.

“My, one can certainly feel its culture, even if it is in another world.” Said Rarity.

“Y’all must get plenty of customers around here.” Said Applejack.

“Oh, we sure do.” Said Digitamamon, “And I believe one of your friends is waiting.”

“Guys!!”

They saw Serenity coming in, with Shine Girl hugging her.

“Glad to see you’re in one piece.” Said Leo as he, Sunset, and Venus came over.

“Like you could keep me down anyway.” Said Serenity, but then he noticed that someone wasn’t with them. “Wait, where’s Shine Boy?”

“He's getting some backup and will rejoin us as soon as possible.” Leo promised

‘Wait, he doesn’t mean…?’ thought Serenity, as she realized who Shine Boy was fetching. “Right. Anyway, about why we’re here.”

“Right, the Digidestined.” Said Princess Twilight.

“And according to this, this is where you said where you and the Digidestined would meet up with us.” Sunset looked at her phone.

“Question is where are they?” Static looked around.

Mikey then hollered. “HEY! WHERE THE HECK ARE YOU GUYS!”

“Mikey!” Mikey was clammed up by their friend TK who jumped out of a bush. “Keep it down!”

Also, merging from the bush was the Digidestined of Light, Kari.

“Kari!” gasped Leo.

“Shh.” she shushed. “We're over here. This way.”

Leo waved to the others to follow as the two led them onward. They were soon inside, and once they were, they saw Tai, Davis, Yolei, Cody, Ken, and their partner Digimon with them.

“Guys, look who it is.” Whispered TK, gaining their attention. When they looked, they saw the rest of their friends.

“Guys!!” said Davis as he and the others were surprised to see them again.

Veemon and the other Digimon went over and hugged Fluttershy and her pony counterpart.

“Good to see you guys again!!” said Davis as he shook Leo’s hand.

Yolei hugged Pinkie Pie and her counterpart, “Thank goodness it’s all of you.”

“Yes, all of you are indeed a sight for sore eyes.” Said Hawkmon.

“Well rest assured we’re here to help.” Said Fugitoid.

“We sure appreciate it.” Said Cody as he bowed to Fugitoid.

“Yeah, things were getting pretty out of hand there.” Said Armadillomon.

“So, what happened?” asked Sunset.

“Yeah, where are the others?” asked Venus.

They noticed the others looked very uneasy, with Leo saying, “Don’t worry, we’ll get you guys back to the ship.”

“It’s the safest place there is right now.” Said Raph.

“Wait, did you say, ship?” said Ken out of curiosity.

“As in one in outer space?” asked Wormmon.

“You’ll see.” said Mikey with a smirk.

Love Shine then contacted the ship. “Grandpa Max, we found them. Open a portal to our location.”

“Got you loud and clear.” Responded Grandpa Max.

A portal then opened that led straight back to their HQ.

“Hurry, before anyone else notices.” Said Princess Twilight, allowing all of them to quickly go on through.

Soon enough, everyone was back on the ship, and among the first to greet them were two familiar faces.

“Comrades!!” said Rocksteady as he and Bebop came over.

“Good to see ya homies!!” said Bebop with a grin on his face.

“Bebop!! Rocksteady!!” said TK as he and the others were glad to see them whilst going over to hug them.

“Good to see all of you.” Said Kari after she and Gatomon stopped hugging him.

“It’s been a long time.” Said Gatomon.

“Too long friend Digidestined.” Said Rocksteady.

Suddenly the ship shook whilst a shrieking could be heard. This surprised those that knew, but shocked the Digidestined.

“Uh, what was that?” said a nervous Yolei.

Then Love Shine walked up to a nearby terminal and contacted Grandpa Max.

“Grandpa Max, what’s going on?” said Love Shine.

“Roland’s demon side is getting more stronger.” Said Grandpa Max as he stepped aside and showed them, with Roland nearly turning into a demon as he was trying to escape the sleeping state, which shocked the others. “I don’t know how much longer we can keep this up.”

“We can’t give up now, we have to find a way.” Said Serenity in concern.

“We’ll keep trying.” Said Grandpa Max before signing out.

“What…what was that?” asked Yolei in concern.

“It’s…complicated.” Said Twilight.

“Actually, there’s a reason for that.” Said Venus as she decided to come clean. “As some of you don’t know, Roland had that demon side of him for a long time. Even I don’t know when. In fact,…it appeared during the Meanboom incident.”

“Meanbooms?” said a confused Tai.

“Didn’t you pay attention?” scolded Kari. “They told us about it. Back when one of their friends were tainted with Equestrian Magic and created ink clones of the Rainbooms in order to get back at Sunset when she thought she ruined her chance at the art show.”

“They got to the girls and got them to turn against one another.” Said Venus, “But for Roland…they did something far worse.”

“What’s that?” asked Davis.

The others looked at one another, with Sunset saying, “The Meanbooms cornered and raped him.”

This shocked the Digidestined, with TK saying, “He was a…rape victim?”

“He was.” Said Venus. “And something happened to him that made him…snap.”

Venus took out an orb of sorts and said, “It’s better that I show you.”

“Mind if we watch.”

They saw the founders of the League, Titans, Static and Gears arrived. Though the Digidestined were shocked by seeing superheroes, they had to put a pin on it in the meantime.

“We also need to know how this started.” Said Superman.

Venus nodded and activated the orb, causing everything to go white. Soon enough, all of them were at CHS, but the difference, Venus and Obaki were there as well as Sapphire’s plans had been revealed. They saw Meanset talking to the others.

“And Mikey was onto us from the start.” Said Meanset, “But he didn’t say anything because he doesn’t trust you anymore.”

The Rainbooms were surprised and looked at Mikey, especially the others.

“Mikey…is this true?” asked Venus.

Mikey grunted and looked away in anger, which shocked the others.

Not as shocked as the others when they saw how different they were.

Then they saw how Sapphire made more ink clones and told them to be on the attack.

“Booya…!!” said Mikey before being cut off as someone bumped him.

Everyone saw Roland walking towards the Meanbooms with his head lowered whilst walking straight towards Midnight.

“So, you finally decided to join your friends?” said Midnight, “Pathetic.”

Then they saw Roland standing there with his head still lowered.

“What, no retort? No show of Moxy?” taunted Midnight.

They saw that Roland still didn’t make a move.

“What’s the matter, cat caught your…?”

Roland responded by grabbing midnight sparkle’ head fiercely and lifts her off the ground, which surprised them as they saw what was unfolding.

“Wha…hey!!” shouted Midnight, “What are you doing?!”

Suddenly, Roland was beginning to squeeze her head tightly, yet slowly, in order to make her suffer.

“You’re hurting me!!” shouted Midnight as she was trying to pry herself loose.

Whilst she struggled, Midnight’s glasses began to broke into pieces whilst the others watched what was going on.

“Wait, what’s Roland doing?” said a confused Donnie.

“Is he…squeezing her head?” said a surprised Applejack.

The others were just as surprised when they saw what Roland was doing. But what they saw next…they had no words.

“Let go!!” shouted Twilight as her eyes began to bulge whilst her nose began to bleed black ink, much to Sapphire and everyone else’s shock.

“Roland, stop this now!!” shouted Leo as he tried to talk some sense into him.

“Get off me!!” shouted Midnight as she tried to use her weapon and magic to attack him, but it doesn’t have any effect on him as his eyes become red whilst his face turns into rage. “Stop it!!”

“Roland, stop!!” shouted Leo.

Within a split second, Midnight began to scream in pain whilst Roland kept ignoring everything else around him. And just like that, within a split second, Midnight no longer screamed as her entire head is crushed and exploded into an inky blob of a mess whilst covering Roland’s face.

Everyone at CHS and younger kids screamed in horror whilst the adults, Turtles and Rainbooms were just as much horrified, even the faculty from what they saw.

This horrified them when they saw what they did to the clone of Midnight Sparkle.

Roland tossed the headless body of Midnight towards Flutterbrat, causing her to catch it. She looked up and gasped as Roland was close, as he literally punched a hole through her face. With the water mystic trying to blast Roland, only for him to use Flutterbrat’s body as a human shield before disappearing. Then appeared behind the Water Mystic and Fire Mystic. He elbowed the Water Mystic in the face, then jabbed his knife into the Fire Mystic’s chest, making it collapse. Just before the Water Mystic could react, Roland grabbed her head and snapped it before letting her go.

Dark Leo jumped up from the air in order to cut Roland down, only for the latter to grab Dark Leo’s leg and smashed him hard onto the ground, making Dark Leo spit out ink from his mouth. Then flipped him over whilst holding his leg and smashed him again, causing Dark Leo to splatter, horrifying everyone even more. Dark Raph tried to attack with his blades, only for Roland to kick them out of his hands and punched him through the chest, leaving a giant hole as Dark Raph grunted in pain before collapsing. Roland grabbed the blades and ran towards the Earth and Metal Mystic, then pounced towards them and jabbed them through the chests and taking them out.

The Digidestined were horrified by what they were seeing, even the Turtles and Rainbooms were shocked by what they were seeing, along with the League. Though Kari was the most shocked, for she understood how that felt for a time, even Ken.

“Ah…ah’m scared of…!!” said Liarjack, which of course was a lie, causing Roland to jab his fist into her throat and ripped something out, making her collapse.

He then went over to Dark Mikey and ripped his arms off before kicking it in half. Then he grabbed both his maces and used the left one to smash Greedity’s face with it, then tripped Meanie Pie and smashed her head with the other.

He punched Meanset hard in the air, then punched her hard as she crashed onto the ground. Then he came back down. Rainbow Dithc did a block whilst not caring, until she was startled when he came from up front and snapped her neck, making her collapse onto the ground.

He then jumped behind Stone Flower and used both his fists to smash her head to pieces, then went over to Dark Donnie and tripped him, allowing him to grab his spear and beheaded him, then tripped Wind Mystic and jabbed it through her chest.

Slowly, Roland looked at Meanset and walked over to her, whilst at the same time, she struggled to get up. Then she saw Roland looking down at her, even with his face darkened.

“Heh,” chuckled Sunset, “You don’t have the stones to…”

Suddenly, with one quick strike, Roland beheaded Meanset with his arm, making her collapse onto the ground.

Everyone who saw was shocked and horrified by what they saw, even Sapphire was terrified of Roland from what she saw. Then slowly, all the Ink Closes began to melt as if they were snowmen. Roland on the other hand struggled to stand as he stood on one knee.

“S-stay back.” Said a terrified Sapphire, “Don’t make me use this…I’m not afraid of you.”

Suddenly, Roland looked up as they could see his face, whilst his eyes were slowly turning yellow and red at the same time, which shocked her and everyone else.

The others were just as surprised when they saw him do that.

“I’m not the one you should be afraid of.” Said Roland.

Roland grunted left and right as if he was struggling, whilst his skin looked like it was slowly catching flame and charcoaled. Then he looked straight at Sapphire, as his face was engulfed in flames. Then he stood up, as his entire head was turned into a flaming skull whilst his eyes were red and staring at her with rage.

Everyone was shocked and horrified by what they were seeing.

“You love to make others suffer?” said Roland as he instantly appeared in front of her, which shocked her. She walked a bit backwards whilst he walked a bit forwards. “You take and hurt and used what you do not understand. Yet…you do not care. And now…you shall receive what is coming to you.”

He instantly grabbed her and tossed her against the wall, hard, making her grunt as she collapsed. Roland slowly walked towards her whilst everyone was too scared to move. Roland grabbed Sapphire and made her look at him straight in the eye.

“You think, you know fear?” began Roland, “You think, you know anger? You think, you know pain?”

Roland slowly lifted his right arm whilst his hand was engulfed in flames to deliver the harshest punishment.

“Let me show you something far sweeter than, pain!!”

And with great thrust, Sapphire screamed in agony from what Roland was doing, which shocked and horrified everyone what they were seeing.

“Venus, enough.” Said Leo, allowing Venus to turn it off.

She sighed and looked at the others. “None of us had seen it coming. Because of Sapphire’s jealousy, she ended up hurting Roland. She didn’t care what she had to do to get rid of all of you.”

Everyone was scared to ask, with Fluttershy asking, “What happened to Sapphire?”

Venus took out her phone and showed a picture. To their shock, it was Sapphire in a strait jacket, whilst her head was leaning right, her tongue out whilst she was drooling, and sat down.

“She was taken to a psyche ward for the insane.” Said Venus, “Roland broke her mind that day, and to the day before everyone fell before Shredder, she stayed that way until the day Shredder killed everyone.”

Everyone remembered when Roland first met Sapphire, which made him nervous and walked away.

“No wonder Roland was so nervous around her.” Said Applejack.

“Thankfully Team Shine showed up and were able to help contain the demon side.” Said Venus. “But he’s been having a hard time trying to control it, even with the gauntlet. And when we were in another world, we…”

“We saw it firsthand.” Said Leo, “And honestly…I’ve never seen so much evil.”

“But…” said Kari as she was now nervous for him, as she sort of could relate. “Isn’t there anything we can do to help?”

“We’re still looking.” Said Shine Girl.

“I think we’re getting off topic here.” Said Night Shine as he felt like he was going to lose his patience, gaining their attention. “As in what happened to them and where are the rest of their Digi-buddies?”

“We didn’t forget, Luke.” Said Love Shine, “We’re just bringing them up to speed on what’s going on.”

Leo then stepped forward and asked, “So what’s going on?”

“And why should we avoid Comrade Josh?” Rocksteady quizzed.

The Digidestined looked at Cody who shivered for a bit. “I... don't know how else to say this, but.... I think Josh betrayed us!”

Everyone looked shocked before Wonder Woman sat next to him. “Just take a deep breath, Cody. Why did Josh betray us?”

Cody calmed down a bit. “Well, I was waiting with Izzy as the others were preparing to join you all when Izzy got a message from Josh to meet with him. So, we went to the Digital World.....”

Moments ago, Cody and Izzy along with Armadillomon and Tentomon arrived in the Digital World.

“Josh? Where are you?” Izzy called.

“Over here!” they heard Josh cried.

They hurried over to see Josh standing there with Diaboromon.

“Are you okay?” Cody asked.

“Yeah.” Josh said before smirking. “But I'm afraid you aren't!”

Just then, Footbots and Gem Knights appeared along with Goldar, Scorpina, and Fishface surrounding the two.

“Josh, why are you doing this?” Cody asked horrified.

“Because you all are such fools.” Josh laughed.

As the Footbots and Gem Knights attacked, Cody and Izzy drew their ninja weapons to fight as Armadillomon and Tentomon joined the fight.

as he swung his spear, Izzy called to Tentomon. “Tentomon! Get us out of here!”

“Right! Tentomon Digivolve to-!”

“CABLE CRUSHER!” Diaboromon extended his arm stopping Tentomon and pinning him down.

“Tentomon!” Izzy cried before Goldar grabbed him. “Cody! Get out of here! Warn the others!”

“But I can't leave you!” Cody protested.

Suddenly, Fishface tackled Cody along with Armadillomon. “What makes you certain you CAN leave, Nino?”

Fishface was then blasted off. Turned out it was Serenity in her armor using a Kraang blaster. She then blasted Scorpina and the Footbots and Gem Knights.

“Go! Warn the others!” Izzy cried still struggling with Goldar.

Serenity quickly grabbed Cody and Armadillomon and ran away as Cody cried to Izzy.

“And when Serenity found this place, I quickly contacted the others while Serenity called you guys!” Cody finished as Usagi knelt to him.

“You did the right thing, my friend.”

“And this is all of you that's left?” Superman asked.

“Yeah.” Yolei nodded. “Everyone else must've been captured.”

“I just don't believe Josh would turn on us!” huffed Bebop.

“I don't believe it!” Everyone to Tai who was frustrated. “Josh wouldn't work hard to gain our trust and just throw it all away!”

“We've made that mistake before, Tai.” Applejack nodded. “And we're getting to the bottom of this mystery.”

“As soon as Shine Boy comes back, we’ll try to get some answers.” Said Karai.

“Wherever he is.” Said Serenity in worry.

“He did mention that he knew some folks that can help us out.” Said Leo.

“I wonder who that could be?” asked Mikey.

“Wondering the same thing.” Said Raph in agreement.

Meanwhile, in a different location, only to people know as New York, but completely different, everyone was going about minding their business. However, deep underneath a building, deep underground, was a large enough lair, carrying tons of lab equipment and other things that could belong to a scientist.

However, sitting near a desk was a 12-year-old girl, named Darla Gugenheek, but everyone calls her, the Geek.

“Let’s see,” said Geek as she was busy working on her papers, “If I carry the two to the one, then maybe this will…”

Suddenly, she heard a portal opening, looking to her right in surprise. Then from out of the portal, was none other than Shine Boy, whilst he was stretching at the same time.

“Whoa, Shine Boy?” said Geek as she stood up and walked over to him before shaking his hand. “I didn’t expect to see you here after all this time.”

“Sorry it’s been a while, Darla.” Said Shine Boy. “Sorry, er…”

“It’s alright, Tony.” Said Geek. “So, what can I do for you?”

“We’re currently on a mission of great importance.” Said Shine Boy.

“What kind of great importance?” asked Geek.

“Saving the Multiverse important.” Said Shine Boy.

“Yeesh,” said Geek, “It’s bad.”

“It is.” Said Shine Boy, “At the moment we’re trying to recruit more heroes to our cause. We’re currently in search of our allies, but we’re shorthanded at the moment. And we’ve also hit a…bit of a snag.”

“Problem?” asked Geek.

“Just…call on the others,” said Shine Boy, “I’ll explain whilst we wait.”

“Alright, I’ll call them.” Said Geek as she picked up the phone.

Meanwhile, within the office at the top of the building, where the duo of a certain freelance group were residing, was an anthropomorphic dog wearing a grey fedora and suit, with an anthropomorphic rabbit wearing, well, nothing. They were known as Sam and Max, of the Freelance police.

Sam was busy eating a packet of cookies whilst Max was trying to get a rat with his mallet that somehow snuck in here.

“Last time, on Sam and Max.” said the narrator.

They went through a ton of shenanigans during that time. Being abducted by aliens, going down the tunnel of love whilst being chased by flaming tires. Wrestled a few alligators in the wrestling ring. Tried to tame a lion, with Sam using Max as a whip. Went to a kids party, whilst Sam used Max as a beating stick to break open a pinata. Running away from the bulls during the Running of the Bulls festival. And then were the first duo on the moon, but realized neither of them were wearing space helmets, causing them to run away to get some air.

Max sighed whilst holding the defeated mouse. “Oh, now that was a great way to get the blood pumping.”

“You can say that again, Max.” said Sam whilst having a cookie, “But like all bad things that you’d see happening in soap operas relating to Clara St. Claire’s horrible secret about her having Bruce Devero’s baby, this too shall pass.”

“I hope so,” said Max whilst walking up to Sam, “It’s been a while since we did anything crazy, and if I don’t do anything exciting, I feel like I’m gonna pass out.”

“Either that you’re low on sugar,” said Sam before handing him a bag of cookies, “Have some cookies.”

That’s when they both heard the phone ring and ran like maniacs.

“I got it I got it!!” shouted the two as they ran over whilst beating each other up at the same time. In the end, Sam was the first to get the phone.

“Hello!! Yes. Yes. Roger. Got it. Okay. Ten four. Affirmative. Gotcha!! Check!! We’re on it!!” said Sam as he put the phone away.

“Was that the commissioner?” asked Max in a strained voice.

“Not exactly.” Said Sam after he dropped Max whilst he stood up, “It was someone who was unlike the commissioner, with all the intolerance in tones of the commissioner who sounded remarkably like the Geek, and therefore could be the Geek.”

“Try saying that five times fast.” Commented Max.

“She says we’re needed of the most utmost importance.” Said Sam.

“It’s a case!!” exclaimed Max.

“To the lab!!” shouted Sam as the two of them quickly went over to what appeared to be a lever with a massive door at the back. “Pull the lever, Max!!”

Max pulled a lever, but it then catapulted him instead, making him crash into the ceiling, then fell right down in Sam’s arms.

“Wrong lever there, buddy.” Said Sam.

“Why do we even have that lever?” asked Max.

“For the sake of comedy.” Said Sam before pulling the other lever, allowing them access to the roller coaster

“So why did we built this thing again?” asked Max.

“You onetime suggested we do something different every time whenever we wanted to go down the sub-basement of solitude.”

“Oh, right, of course.” Said Max before the two of them went down.

The two of them screamed in excitement whilst they rode around in loops, twirls, twisters, and everything you can imagine when it comes to everything roller coaster.

“Wow, I didn’t know it was that bad.” Said Geek surprised after Shine Boy told her everything.

“That’s right, that’s why I need their help.” Said Shine Boy, “I wanted to ask you too, but.”

“Can’t, someone’s gotta keep an eye on the place.” Said Geek, “Last time we left this place unattended, a lot of crazy stuff kept on happening.”

“I’ll take your word for it.” Said Shine Boy.

“I hope you can help him.” Said Geek.

Suddenly they heard an alarm and looked on the computer screen, showing Sam and Max on it, whilst the computer said, “Incoming! Incoming!”

“Oh, jeez.” Groaned Geek whilst face palming herself, “Can’t those two ever take the stairs?”

“Well, it is them we’re talking about.” Said Shine Boy.

“Good point.” Said Geek.

Suddenly, the two certain duo burst through the walls whilst riding in their roller coaster.

“Incoming!!” shouted Max whilst they flew by, making them crash.

Then they saw the safety bag that they landed in, allowing the both of them to fall down.

“That was fun.” Groaned Max.

“Good thing we added the safety bags.” Said Sam.

“Hey guys.” Said Geek.

“Hey there, Geek!! How’s it hanging?!” said Max as he was right next to Geek.

“So, what do you have for us that’s so important?” asked Sam.

“I don’t, he does.” Said Geek.

The duo turned to Shine Boy, who waved to the two. Max gasped loudly and instantly darted over to him and hugged him tightly.

“Shina Rooney!!” shouted Max before rubbing Shine Boy’s head and landed on the ground, “Good to see ya, buddy!!”

“We haven’t seen you since Grandma Ruth’s bar mitzva extravaganza.” Said Sam.

“Yeah. About that. Is your grandma still steamed at Luke for swiping a couple root beers?” Shine Boy sweated.

“Nah! She’s okay with it. She might want to see if you and Serenity are still a couple. She thought you both looked cute.” Sam smiled.

“Still going strong. Sorry, max.”

“I’m okay with you two.” Max grinned. “Still don’t like girls.”

“So, what seems to be the case?” asked Sam.

“We’re currently going on a recruitment drive to gather more allies to fight against our enemy, the Shredder.” Said Shine Boy.

“Oooh, are you friends with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles?” said Max with eagerness.

“Uh, yeah.” Said Shine Boy.

“Which generation are we talking here?” asked Sam as he pulled out a poster, showing different turtles.

“That one.” Said Shine Boy when he pointed at Leo and the others.

“Ah, Generation 3, good choice.” Said Max.

“We’ve already gathered other allies, but we’ve got about two problems.” Said Shine Boy. “One of our allies is currently under, but we have that handled. The other is we need to find a handful of friends that have gone missing, known as the Digidestined.”

“Oooh, which one is it?” asked Max, “Is it the ones who can turn into Digimon?”

“Nope.” Responded Shine Boy.

“Is it the ones who can use trading cards to empower their Digimon with upgrades?” asked Max.

“Nope.” Said Shine Boy.

“Is it the ones who have Digivices, but two out of eight received upgrades with their Digivices with four others that allow them to armor Digivolve in case they can’t normally Digivolve?” said Max.

“That’s the one.” Said Shine Boy.

“And considering fan favorites from the country of Japan.” Said Sam.

“I even got the posters.” Said Max as he showed them before putting it away.

“And you need our help to find them so that all of you can recruit them to your ever-growing list of teammates, correct?” asked Sam.

“That’s right.” Said Shine Boy.

“Pack up your things, Max.” said Sam, “We’re going on a road trip.”

“Booya!!” shouted Max, “I’ll go get my gear!!”

“I’ll try to send your car over as soon as it’s ready.” Said Geek.

Shine Boy opened a portal to another dimension, with Sam saying, “Well Max, we’re about to go to a path of no return.”

“Nothing but like a good ol adventure to get the blood pumping!!”

They followed Shine Boy through before the portal closed whilst Geek went over to fix the car.

Meanwhile, in another world, near a Japanese theme place, known as the Shiba house, home and headquarters of the Samurai Rangers, the Rangers decided to come back together to do some training. At the moment, Mike and Kevin were busy doing some training whilst the others were watching.

“Gotta admit, Mike is really keeping up with his forms.” Said Emily.

“And good to see Kevin is still remembering his training.” Said Jayden.

After training, Mike was exhausted and fell on the ground, with Kevin standing on one knee.

“Gotta admit, you’re getting better.” Said Kevin.

“Good thing I’m not out of practice.” Said Mike as Kevin helped him up. However, Mike then noticed someone.

“Guys.” Said Mike, “We got company.”

Everyone looked at the direction Mike was looking at, and there stood a man in a cloak and crossed his arms.

“Who the heck is that guy?” whispered Antonio.

“Pretty impressive moves.” Said Jacob whilst walking over, “But your form was a bit sloppy.”

“Excuse me?” said Mike, feeling insulted.

“By doing that position, you’re leaving yourself open for a wiser opponent to strike at you before you could even blink.”

“Oh yeah?” said Mike, “If you think you have the moves, why don’t you prove it?”

“Mike!!” said Emily, not wanting to start a fight.

“I accept.” Said Jacob as he took a Bokken sword and walked at the training center.

Mike then stood in position, with Jacob doing the same. Both sides waiting for the other to strike. Jacob then stood in position and held his blade in position. The others don’t recognize that form, but Jayden did as he recognized the stance. Mike then charged. But as he struck left and right, Jacob successfully blocked both sides and struck Mike in the face, hard, making him collapse hard onto the ground, shocking the others. But not as shocked when they saw Jacob placing his foot on his head.

“Don’t pick a fight you can win, Mike.” Said Jacob, “Anger like that is what caused you to get sloppy in the first place.”

Antonio rushed forward, until Jacob blocked and buddha palmed him hard, making him crash into the girls as they landed a foot away.

Kevin was about to strike, until Jacob did a hard bicycle kick, making the latter drop hard onto the ground. Jayden then took out his samurai blade, thinking that Jacob was a monster in disguise like his last opponent. The two of them fought as they blocked and struck at the same time. But Jayden couldn’t land a single hit on him, until Jacob tripped Jayden, making him land onto the ground, but then stopped as he saw the blade over him.

“You’re a good warrior, Jayden.” Said Jacob, which startled Jayden, “But you still have a lot to learn.”

“What’s going on out there?!” said a voice inside.

The man, who was known as Mentor, walked out and saw the mess outside.

“What happened here?!” said Mentor whilst he saw the Rangers were a mess. “If all of you have been fooling around during training…!!”

However, the moment Mentor looked at the visitor, he saw the man in a cloak, but at the same time, could see his eyes from underneath the cloak. This shocked Mentor as he instantly recognized him.

“Master.” Said Mentor as he instantly went over and bowed before him on all fours.

“Master?” said a confused Mike whilst groaning and standing up.

“Wait, he knows him?” said a confused Antonio as he and the girls also stood up.

Jacob stood there for a moment, causing him to chuckle and walk over.

“Come on, Ji.” Said Jacob, “How many times do I have to say you don’t have to be so formal with me.”

Mentor looked up as Jacob stood on his knee and was face to face with him.

“You’re no longer my student, remember?” said Jacob, “You graduated long ago and became the Samurai Rangers’ mentor, just like I trained many others to guide other Rangers over the years. And besides…if I didn’t, I wouldn’t do this.”

Jacob instantly hugged Mentor and picked him up whilst laughing, with Mentor doing the same as the others were very confused. They broke the hug whilst Mentor was smiling.

“It’s good to see you again, Jacob.” Said Mentor.

“You as well, Ji.” Said Jacob.

“Mentor, you know him?” said Jayden as he and the others regrouped with him.

“Of course.” Said Mentor as he introduced Jacob. “Everyone, meet my Master, Jacob Drake. He taught me everything he knows about being a Samurai, and trained many others who became the leaders to the Rangers over the years.”

“Wait, he knows about the Power Rangers?” said Mike.

Jacob looked at Mike and said, “Who do you think built and created the Morphing Grid, as well as trained the Morphing Masters, Zordon and many others who guided the Rangers over the years.”

One by one, this leaves everyone shocked.

“You created the Morphing Grid?!” said Antonio.

“I did.” Said Jacob, “I saw many Rangers over the years, each of them becoming legendary than the last one. Though some of my students who taught other Rangers perished, they still remain in my memories.”

Jacob then looked at Jayden. “And you must be Jayden, son of Shiba. You have your father’s courage.”

This surprised Jayden and said, “You knew my dad?”

“I knew him.” Said Jacob, “He died before his time, which is very sad. For no child should lose a father like that. I should know, I lost my family the same way.”

Jayden was surprised by this, with Mentor asking, “But master, if I might ask, what are you doing here?”

Jacob was silent for a moment, and said, “I need your help.”

“Wait, how do we know we can trust you?” asked Mike.

“Emily’s sister Serena does.” said Jacob.

Emily was surprised by this and asked, “How do you know my sister?”

“Why don’t you ask her?”

Jacob turned and looked at the gate, to Emily’s surprise, there was her sister, standing and very healthy.

“Serena?” said Emily as she ran over to her sister, causing the two of them to hug.

Jacob walked over to her, whilst the others were cautious and walked over at the same time.

After the two sisters broke up the hug, Emily asked, “What are you doing here, you’re supposed to be in bed.”

“I’m all cured now, thanks to him.” Said Serena.

Emily looked at Jacob and asked, “You cured my sister?”

“I did.” Said Jacob, “I knew her sickness well. And according to the doctors, and from what they nor your parents told you, her disease would only get worse. So…”

Jacob pulled out a blue vial, and showed her the chemical inside.

“This baby helped speed up her recovery and immune system. And cured her of her disease. In the end, it was able to save her life. You could say…she’ll see an even brighter future until she’s old.”

Emily instantly hugged Jacob, which Mike got jealous. Jacob rolled his eyes and said, “Keep calm, Mike, I don’t have any intention to steal your girlfriend.”

Mike was surprised that Jacob knew what he was thinking. Emily broke the hug and said, “Thank you.”

“If there’s one thing I can’t stand, it’s siblings getting sick and being deprived of living.” Said Jacob, “Plus I knew a friend who was also sick long ago.”

“Back to business,” said Jayden, “You said you needed our help?”

“I do.” Said Jacob as he walked over to a table.

A footage was shown of Roland, in his demon form, rampaging all over whilst screeching. This shocked the Rangers as Mentor said, “This is something we’ve never seen before.”

“And you want us to stop that?” asked Mike.

“I do.” Said Jacob.

“But that’s insane.” Said Kevin, “We don’t have that kind of power to stop him.”

“You do now.” Said Jacob as he pulled out a few samurai discs, which surprised the Rangers whilst he placed them on the table. “These ones are powerful enough to put a demon to a stop. It’s called demon containment.”

“We’ll be able to make good use of them.” Said Mentor.

“But why do you want us to help Roland so badly?” asked Mike.

Jacob then told them everything, of why he wanted to do this.

“And that’s why.” Said Jacob.

The Rangers were shocked to hear this, with Mia being the first one to place her hand on his shoulder.

“I’m so sorry.” Said Mia.

“If I don’t get him back, I…” said Jacob as he shed a tear.

Mentor placed his hand on his master’s shoulder, and said, “You can count on us, Jacob. Let us help you, like you helped me long ago.”

Jacob looked at Mentor and smiled. “Thank you, old friend.”

“Always.” Said Mentor whilst Jacob stood up.

“I’ll leave this to you in the meantime.” Said Jacob as he placed a remote device near them. “This will allow you to travel to different dimensions, so you don’t have to use the remote.”

“Good call, we cannot risk the Morphing Grid to be unstable.” Said Mentor.

Jacob walked away and said, “I will see you shortly.”

Jacob then teleported away as everyone watched. Mentor stood up and looked determined.

“Everyone, grab your things.” Said Mentor, gaining the Rangers’ attention, “We have work to do.”

The Rangers and Serena walked to the Shiba house, preparing to pack in whatever they need for the fight ahead.

Meanwhile, back at the ship, everyone was waiting for Shine Boy, whilst some were waiting impatiently.

“What’s taking him so long?!” said Raph.

Suddenly he got smacked behind the head, which made him glare from behind, showing that it was Venus who did it instead whilst giving him the same look he gives everyone else, making him be quiet.

Mikey laughed a bit, which the others looked at him. “Sorry, I’m just glad it’s not me for once.”

“Good news everyone.” Said Amethyst as he, along with Silverbolt, and Invictus showed up, along with Superman. “We hooked up Cody’s D-Terminal and we were able to track Josh’s location.”

“And where he’s holding the other Digidestined?” said Davis, which irked Tai as he still didn’t want to believe it.

“The question isn’t if he’s holding them, the question is where are they holding them?” Leo pondered.

“Agreed. We need to find out where before we-!”

“Look!” Superman interrupted Venus.

“What is it?” Sunset asked as they hurried to a monitor that had pinpointed the exact location of where the rest of the Digidestined were.

“According to this,” said Gamer, “They’re located somewhere in the Digital World.”

“But where?” asked Shine Girl.

“Wait, tracker’s got something.” Said Cyborg as he typed on his console. “Bringing up visual…now.”

The moment the monitor showed them, the Digidestined began to look worried.

“No! It can’t be!” Cried Ken.

“What is it?” Static asked.

“It can’t be!” Yolei repeated.

“What the devil?” Rockwell blinked whilst Bebop lifted his glasses to make sure he wasn’t seeing things.

“Holy chalupa!” Mikey jaw dropped.

There, floating a mile away, was a familiar base the Digidestined remembered too well.

“That’s…. The Digimon Emperors base!” Cody feared.

“But… Paildramon destroyed it when Arukennimon tried to blow it up!” Davis protested.

Gamer looked through the binoculars and noticed something. “Was it always this shiny?”

“Not really.” Kari remembered.

Blade looked at it next. “It looks like one of the Techndromes the Kraang were stationed in. I never forget such a horrible place.”

“Ripley and Lewej must’ve found the base and Shredder had it rebuilt with tech of the Technodrome.” Twilight concluded.

“Then it’s a safe bet that they have Matt and the others in there.” Sunset concluded.

“Then we’ve got our heading.” Said Invictus, “Now all we need to do is to…”

Suddenly, a portal opened, gaining everyone’s attention. The Digidestined suddenly stood on attention, but Leo stopped them, indicating he knows who it is. Just then, a portal opened behind the group, thankfully not getting the villain’s attention, and Shine Boy emerged from it.

“Shine Boy!” Davis grinned.

“Davis. Tai. Good to see you guys again.” Shine Boy high fived Davis and Tai. “Sorry our reunion isn’t under better circumstances.”

“Yeah. We think we know where Shredder is holding Matt and the others.” Tai pointed to the location.

“Where’d you even go?” Raph asked.

“I went to another dimension to get some help.” Said Shine Boy. “A certain police duo.”

Night Shine widened his eyes, somehow knowing who his brother was talking about. “No. Not them. Anyone but them!”

“I know they’re both wild cards but we need all the help we can get.” At that very moment, two screams were heard as Shine Boy stepped aside from the portal as two figure fell through.

The tall one, who was a humanoid dog in a grey suit, got up and rubbed his hip. “Wow. What a soft landing.”

“Not for me it wasn’t, Sam.” Groaned another voice.

Sam looked behind him and pulled out a flat white bunny off him. “Whoops. Sorry, Max. Just a sec.” Sam took a deep breath and breathed through Max's mouth causing him to inflate like a balloon.

“Did he just pulled a rabbit out of his butt?” Mikey asked before Raph clonked him on the head.

“Everyone, meet Sam and Max.” Shine Boy introduced.

“Freelance police!” Sam declared as he and Max both held up a badge.

“Wait, Freelance Police?” said Donnie in confusion.

“That’s a thing?” asked Sunset.

“It is when you’re in the nineties.” Said Max. Then he noticed something. “Uh why's that pink haired girl looks like a psycho?”

Everyone turned to Fluttershy who was smiling big at the newcomers.

“3...2...1.” Rainbow quietly whispered before Fluttershy squealed.

“So. Cute!” She ran towards Max who screamed.

“AAAAAH! COOOTIES!”

As Fluttershy chased Max around Sam, Some of the heroes couldn't help but laugh.

“Two seconds here and already hate having those two with us.” Night Shine grumbled. “Must be a personal record for them.”

At last, Slash grabbed Fluttershy to calm her down. “Easy, Fluttershy, there'll be time to pet the bunny rabbit later.”

“Don't bet on it, Gamera!” Max popped out of Static's coat before Sam yanked him out.

“Now, now, Max. We promised Shine Boy we'd behave as we're saving the multiverse.” Said Sam, then looked at the others and said, “So what’s the reason all of you can’t make a move yet?”

“Cause of this.” Said Gears as he showed them the footage of Roland struggling whilst the demon side is trying to take over.

“Ooh, that’s being possessed by a demon alright.” Said Max.

“And from the looks of it,” said Sam, “It we don’t find a way to remove it, and it does pop out, he’ll be crankier than Lucifer as a baby throwing a tantrum for not getting attention from his dad whilst also throwing a hissy fit as a teenager for being dumped on prom night during a Sadie Hawkins dance.”

This left everyone baffled by what Sam said.

“Not to worry though, whilst all of you try to find a way to deal with him, we’ll try to track down the Digidestined’s missing comrades.” Said Sam.

“But at the same time, figuring out why the new guy would suddenly stab you in the back.” Said Max, who then took out a recording device and pointed at Tai. “So, original leader of the Digidestined. How did all of this happen?”

They then explained everything what was going on. However, unknown to them, older Tommy overheard everything and pondered for a bit before deciding to leave.

“And that’s what happened.” Said Tai.

“Interesting.” Said Max.

“This is definitely unorthodox.” Said Sam. “A friend you made, but among you that didn’t trust him because of his partner, despite the fact that he didn’t come to the conclusion that there might be other Keramon like that other time all of them stumbled upon a village infested with Koromon long before Kari joined the group.”

Max then pulled out a poster filled with the village of Koromon and showed it to Tai, TK, and Kari, whilst saying, to Tai, “Ring any bells, former goggles boy?”

Max retracted the poster back, with TK surprised and said, “I completely forgot about that.”

“He’s got you there, Tai.” Said Agumon, which caused Tai to groan in embarrassment.

“And the fact that he’s acting completely out of character, and not his usual self.” Said Sam.

“But the only way to be sure is to try and track the so-called culprit down.” Said Max in excitement, “So let’s not diddle doddle, and let’s get cooking!!”

“Not literally of course.” Said Sam.

“I’ll gather the others and we’ll prepare for a preemptive strike.” Said Superman, “One side to free the Digidestined and the other to distract their forces.”

“Good idea.” Said Leo, “We’ll meet up in an hour.”

Everyone soon went their separate ways in order to pack their things, whilst at the same time, Kari once again heard growling. She looked at the monitors and sees Roland struggling and crying in pain, making her worry at the same time.

She then ran off to join the others.

As they prepare, Shine Boy was in his quarters as he pulled out a case with a cross on it. He opened up to reveal small weapons that fight demons and other underworld creatures. He sighed as he held up a bomb filled with Holy water.

“Oh Roland, I will keep my promise to help you. But if I have to fight this demon inside of you, then I will at least try. I will prove you are capable of friends.”

“He is on the right path if you’re still willing to help him.” He heard a new voice behind him.

Shine Boy reacted by drawing his CDA staff and pointed it towards an unfamiliar face as a guy stood there. “Who are you? How’d you get in here?”

“Do not be alarmed. I mean you no harm.” The man, Jacob, looked at his staff. “Nice staff. Chrome Digizoid?”

Shine Boy raised a brow. “How did you-?”

“To answer your first question, my name is Jacob. I have watching you and your friends for some time. And I know your name is Tony Bedding and you were trained by Zion and you are the Embodiment of Light.”

Shine Boy felt that he was telling the truth and set his staff down. “My gut feeling tells me that you are to be trusted. So, I will let you speak your peace.”

“You really have proven yourself worthy of your status.” Jacob smiled. “Zion was right about you, after all.”

Shine Boy was then curious, and asked “How do you know my master?”

Jacob walked over and leaned towards him with a smirk. “Who do you think taught him everything he knew?”

Shine Boy was surprised by this whilst Jacob stood back up.

“I know what you're planning, and it's admirable.” said Jacob as he looked at Shine Boy's case and looked at it. “Even with the equipment you have, it won't work on him.”

Shine Boy was surprised by this. “What do you mean, it won't work?”

“The evil that festers inside him is unlike any evil you've ever faced.” said Jacob as he showed Shine Boy the hologram of it. “This kind is known as the Furcas, or Forcas.”

“A Knight of...” said Shine Boy surprised.

“That's right, created by Lucifer, the fallen angel, now king of evil itself.” said Jacob before placing it away. “Other demons from other worlds are strong, but those from the Prime worlds are a thousand times more dangerous. And they're triggered when our rage grows beyond its measures. And this evil is different. Whereas Sunset Shimmer's dark side was from wrath, Twilight's need was from obsession, Gloriosa was greed, his has a different need, which is to kill without question.”

“How do you know so much about it?” asked Shine Boy.

Jacob took off his left glove and showed the cut on his hand, which surprised Shine Boy. “I too had once made a deal.”

He placed the glove on and said “Whereas others make deals for power, money and so on. Mine was different...I wanted to avenge my family after my enemies slaughtered them. My parents included. Though I removed it long ago, what I did was no excuse. But now I'm here to ensure it never happens again, which is why...I brought this.”

Jacob pulled out a sword and pulled it slightly, revealing metals and markings that shocked Shine Boy as he recognized it.

“When the Multiverse's timeline was threatened, many had sought to ensure it doesn't change, the same goes for demons and angels. The metals they used to craft weapons; I created one of my own...one that can truly bring the demon inside of him to a full stop. This sword here is the purest there is. But it can only be wielded by the one who has the power you possess.”

Jacob placed the sword back in the hilt and presented it to him, whilst saying “Now it falls to you. Do not attack, unless attacked, as this blade cannot be used to harm the innocent. Trust in the sword, and it will trust you.”

Shine Boy slowly accepted the sword, whilst Jacob said “The sword can also morph into any weapon you can think of. You think it, it can create. But with enough willpower, it can become something great.”

Shine Boy looked at the sword, then to Jacob as he said, “I'm going to the Samurai Rangers. I made them the discs to help incapacitate it, whilst you do the rest. Strike Roland in the chest, the demon will separate and leave it powerless.”

Jacob placed his shoulder on Shine Boy. “Continue to be the beacon of Hope, Tony. The world needs people like you in it.”

Jacob took a few steps backwards whilst Shine Boy looked at it. However, he took one good look and said “You're a pinnacle of hope and reason, Tony. You inherited that trait from your grandfather.”

Shine Boy was taken aback by this, and asked “You knew my...?”

Jacob kept his smile and said “Let's just say...the power you have runs in the family deeper than you can imagine.”

Shine Boy was shocked by this before Jacob teleported away.

“Thank you.” Shine Boy whispered before connecting the sword on his belt and under his cape. “I’ll do my best to use it wisely.”

Within mere moments, from outside, the selected teams had been summoned and gathered.

The Turtles, Rainbooms, Mane 6, Blade, Tempest, their human Allies, Rock N Beats, the CMC, The Mighty Mutanimals, the Dazzlings, Shadowbolts, Young Six, Bright Eyes, Teddy, Team Shine, Team Tennyson, Crystal Gems, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Their other world allies, The sixteen members of the League, the Teen Titans, some of Roland’s teammates and the surviving Digidestined were all teleported to the coordinates.

“Alright, this is it.” Said Cyborg.

Starfire then noticed the Rainbooms, CMC, and the rest of the Canterlot City visitors. “I do not wish to be the one to distract,” said Starfire, “But when did you get the changing of the outfits?”

Everyone noticed their change of outfits.

“Amazing.” Said pony Rarity as she observed them, “However did this happen?”

“Honestly we have no idea.” Said Davis, “When Yolei, Cody, and myself went to the Digital World the first time, we gained new wardrobes. No idea why Tai and the others didn’t get theirs.”

“To be honest, even we didn’t get a clue.” Said Agumon.

Yolei on the other hand looked around, gaining Wonder Woman’s attention. “Is something wrong, Yolei?”

“It’s just that,” said Yolei as she looked at them, “I can’t help but shake the feeling I’ve been in this place before.”

“Hey, come to think of it, I recognize this place too.” Said Cody.

“So do I.” said Ken.

They saw Yolei and Ken run ahead, with everyone following suit. As soon as they arrived, they saw what they were seeing. And up ahead, was none other than the former Digimon Emperor’s base.

“Whoa,” said Wally/Flash, “You weren’t kidding.”

“How’d you know it be here?” asked Barry/Flash.

“Because this was where my base was before I was able to make it mobile during my dark days.” Said Ken before all of them went back to the forest to think of a plan.

“So now that we know that they’re here, we’ll need a plan.” Said John/Green Lantern.

“I agree,” said Hal/Green Lantern, “We can’t rush in blindly into the fortress all at one. One group needs to distract and the other infiltrates to rescue the rest of the Digidestined.”

“I nominate the Digidestined goes inside.” Said Max.

“Why do you say that?” asked Hawkgirl.

“What my partner’s trying to say, is that Ken and the newbies, along with TK and Kari were the ones who knows the layout of the base and have been in there before.” Said Sam.

“Makes sense,” said Tai before looking at Ken, “You sure you’re up for it?”

“If it means rescuing the rest of our friends, then I’m in.” said Ken.

Suddenly, April felt her head, whilst Martian partially looked away.

“Someone’s spying on us.” Said Martian Manhunter and April.

Batman used his grapple and shot into the bushes, then ended up pulling something out and making him pin someone against the broken bus.

It was a boy, who was battered and bruised, with his clothes being tattered. However, some of them know who it was.

“Josh?!”

From a different location of the Digital World, just a mile away, a portal opened and within mere moments, Mentor and the rest of the Samurai Rangers came through and looked around.

“Whoa,” said Mike as he looked around, “Where are we?”

“This isn’t the base.” Said Kevin.

“Why would Jacob make us go here?” said Antonio.

That’s when Mentor felt something in his pocket and pulled it out, and saw a note. He read, “Sorry that all of you had to be in the Digital World, home to the Turtles and Rainbooms’ allies, but they’re currently on a rescue mission. So, before you go help Roland, help them first.”

“They’re already on a mission?” said Mia.

“But where are they?” asked Emily.

Jayden then heard his miniature Zord beeped and took it out. To his surprise, it acted like a compass and flew off.

“Follow it, he knows the way.” Said Jayden as he ran after it, with the others following.

“There you are, Traitor.” Said Cody.

“Hold on.” Said Shine Boy, “We don’t know if it really was the Josh you met or the fake.”

“He’s telling the truth!!”

To their surprise, they saw Marie Mox coming out with her Digimon partner, Clawmon, along with Josh’s partner, Keramon.

“The one that attacked you guys was a fake.” Said Marie.

“They tried to get us too, but we were able to escape.” Said Keramon.

Batman then released Josh as he breathed a bit and said, “Thanks.”

“Wait, the one who attacked him was a fake?” said Leo.

“Makes sense,” said Donnie, “Our counterparts also thought we were clones when we first met them.”

“But how do we know he’s the real Josh?” Yolei quizzed.

“Well, let’s see.” Night Shine said sarcastically whilst he moved over next to her. “The fact that Marie is right next to him and Keramon’s in his rookie stage SHOULD be enough to prove that he is.”

“And what if he got Marie too?” Yolei glared.

Glaring back, Night Shine responded by grabbing Donnie’s bo-staff. “Hey!!” cried out Donnie when he realized it was taken.

“See the stick?” said Night Shine with a mocking smile and a sarcastic tone whilst pointing at the bo-staff at the same time.

“Yeah?” said a confused Yolei.

Night Shine responded by bashing Raph on the head with the staff, making everyone wince.

“Ow!” The hot-headed turtle yelled before growling and looked at Night Shine.

“THATS GONNA BE YOU IN FIVE MINUTES IF YOU DONT SHUT UP AND ACCEPT THE FACTS!” yelled Night Shine as he was being on Yolei’s face.

“Knock it off!” Shine Boy ordered as he grabbed Donnie’s his staff and pushed Night Shine away. “There was another reason I got Sam and Max.”

“Do your thing, Max.” said Sam.

Max then jumped up and looked at Josh whilst holding a magnifying glass and dressed like sherlock Holmes. He walked around and observed him. Then he began to smell Josh and Keramon like a dog whilst walking around him, weirding Josh out at the same time.

After he was done, after a little debating, he jumped up to the others.

“After much deliberation, I can speak for the witnesses, and can I assume that Josh and Keramon here is…”

Suddenly a drum role was sounded, causing Max to be suddenly dressed as a judge then banged his big Gavel and shouted, “Innocent!!”

Suddenly a load cheer had been heard from the background whilst a poster was showed of Josh as it had the word innocent on it.

Everyone looked baffled when he said that, with Davis deadpanning and said, “And you figured it out, just by looking and smelling at him?”

Sam then jumped in, wearing a cowboy outfit and spoke in a Western accent. “Son, we know how to smell evil, and that boy has no stench of evil.”

He then tossed the outfit away and spoke normally. “Either that, or I can smell a bacon cheese chimichanga in his pocket!!

Josh stood surprised whilst Keramon said, “I told you; you should've thrown it away.”

Sam suddenly laughed and said, “You did better than me, Max. All I got was a Burberry cologne from that guy.” He pointed to TK, who blushed. Unbeknownst to anytime else, Kari blushed too.

“Well, well, well.” Mikey jumped on TK. “Who are you trying to impress?”

“No one!” TK and Kari yelped. Kari quickly turned around and coughed as everyone looked at her awkwardly.

Sunset broke the silence. “Look, we don’t have time for that now!”

“Sunset’s right.” Venus agreed. “What matters is Josh is innocent and someone has been posing as him to capture the Digidestined.”

Tai then remembered something from what Cody said, about Josh contacting the others.

“Josh, do you have your D Terminal?” Tai asked cautiously.

“No.” Josh shook his head. “Those creeps that attack me took it. I was getting ready for my study break with Marie when…”

Earlier that day…..

Josh was walking up to his home when he kicked a baseball bat and picked it up.

“Keramon!” He called. “What did I tell you about picking up after yourself?”

“Oops! Sorry, Josh!” Keramon called from inside.

“That’s okay, buddy. I just need you to clean up before Marie gets…. Here?” Josh stopped as he saw Diaboromon land in front of him. “Alright. What you so upset about that you had to Digivolve into mega?”

“Uuuuh Josh?” Josh looked to see Keramon standing by the door. “Do I have a cousin I didn’t know about?”

Josh double took as he saw his partner in rookie and mega. Then it hit him. “No. It can’t be!”

“Now. Now.” Josh turned to see Gladitron walk up with Goldar, Chrysalis, Scorpina, and a half dozen Footbots. “Is that anyway to greet your predecessor?”

“What have you done?” Josh demanded.

“What matters now is what we’re going to do to your friends and YOURE going to help us.” Snickered Chrysalis.

“NO!” Josh cried drawing his nunchucks and began to fight the Footbots.

“BUG BLASTER!” Keramon fired a blast at Goldar before he could sneak attack on Josh.

Despite putting up a good fight, it wasn’t long before Josh and Keramon were cornered.

“We’re gonna need backup!” Josh said as he pulled out his D Terminal.

“Oh no you don’t!” Scorpina fired a blast that knocked the device out of Josh’s hand.

Gladitron aimed his blaster at the two. “Not so tough without your friends now are you?”

“VIAL THROW!” The bad guys were taken back by vials of red gas. As they recoiled, a giant shadow stood before Josh and Keramon. This one was a friend.

“Marie! Plaguemon!” Josh gasped.

Sure enough, it was Marie Mox and her partner, Plaguemon.

“Cmon! We gotta get outta here!” Marie grabbed his hand and pulled him and Keramon on Plaguemon who managed to escape.

“Let im go!” The villains turned to see Scorpina holding Josh’s D terminal. “We got what we needed.”

“Let’s see those brats trust him now.” Chrysalis laughed.

“By the time I could warn you guys, they had already captured the others.” Marie finished.

Everyone was surprised by this, with Older Tommy shaking his head and said, “I should’ve known.”

“Wait,” said Veemon, “This happened to you, before?”

“It did.” Said Older Tommy, “This was about a while back, before the Ninja Steel Rangers helped the Turtles and Rainbooms. Lord Draiden tried to kidnap myself and a few other Rangers to take over a few realities whilst making a Ranger Robot army using the powers of the captured Rangers.”

“Oh yes, I remember that.” Said Fugitoid, “Red Bot told me about it after we helped defeat the Ninja Steel Rangers’ previous enemies.”

“So, what do you think he wants our Digimon for?” asked Cody.

Tai then thought about something, and remembered Black WarGreymon, then was shocked as he realized something.

“What if…” said Tai, gaining their attention, “What if they’re trying to create copies of them to make an army, like they did with Dark WarGreymon?”

This shocked the others, as they realized he has a point.

“Do you think that’s possible?” said Leo.

“It could be possible,” said Donnie, “Digimon are comprised of data, though not the same as the ones here.”

“No doubt trying to create evil clones of the others.” Said Gamer.

“But if this is Josh,” said Cody, “Then who was the one we encountered?”

“Question,” said Sam whilst he was sitting on Josh’s head, much to the boy’s dismay, “Was it a person that you encountered?”

“No.” said Josh.

“Was it a super villain?”

“No.”

“Was it one of your Digital enemies?”

“No.”

“Was it one of Shine Boy’s enemies?”

“No.”

“Was it a freaky looking horse that looks like it was a mixture of a bug that had legs made out of Swiss cheese?”

Josh paused and was surprised by that. “Uh, yes. Yes. Yes!! How did you know that?”

“Sammy,” said Max, “I think we just got our real culprit.”

“Culprit?” said everyone.

“Yeah, think about it,” said Max, “And think really hard. Who do you know that is a pony, mixed with a bug, and has Swiss cheese legs?”

This caused them to think. However, the Equestrians and Turtles instantly realized who he was talking about.

“Chrysalis?!!” exclaimed those who know.

“Who?!” said those who don’t know.

“Max? The slide projector.” Said Sam.

Max zipped over and got the slide projector, with Max holding the slide button whilst Sam held a stick ready for a presentation. Max pressed the button, showing a Changeling from a folklore.

“As many of you know,” said Sam whilst pointing at the slide, “Changelings come from ancient folklore that others think it’s just a fairytale. However, in the world of our Equestrian friends, that is not the case. Next slide, Max.”

Max pressed the button, showing them a Changeling. With one half good and the other half bad.

“These were the Changelings of what they looked like long ago before they turned over a new leaf thanks to the efforts of Starlight Glimmer and her friends. Next slide, Max.”

Max pressed the button, showing Changelings attacking Canterlot, which shocked the Equestrians.

“Long ago, the Changelings were once the great enemy of Equestria,” said Sam, “They use to invade either a town or a city, and as a result, they capture their prey and put them in cocoons. Once they do, they can feed off the love of those captured individuals. And when they wish to blend in, they use their magic to shapeshift into the targets they captured, or just a random form that comes into mind. Next slide, Max.”

Max pressed the button, revealing Chrysalis, much to their surprise.

“This is Chrysalis, the former Queen of the Changelings.” Said Sam. “Long ago, she posed as Princess Cadence, Princess Twilight’s future sister-in-law long before she became a Princess. She secretly infiltrated the castle in order to have Princess Twilight’s brother for herself. She’s also a master manipulator, but doesn’t know much about them and continues to fake it. But after she was exposed, and with the powers of Princess Cadence and Shining Armor’s love, they were able to banish her from Canterlot. Next slide, Max.”

Night Shine was munching on popcorn. “Are there any extended scenes?”

Yolei looked out off before sighing in defeat. “Is that salted?”

“Extra butter.” Night Shine offered her some.

Mikey extended his hand as Night Shine shrugged before offering him some.

“Continue.” Shine Boy gestured to Sam.

Max switched over to the Mane 6, the Princesses, Shining Armor, Flurry Heart, and Spike in cocoons.

“That was until much, much, later, where Chrysalis and her Changeling Army ambushed and kidnapped the defenders of Equestria whilst slowly replacing them with their own Changelings in order for them to take over Equestria. Next slide Max.”

Max switched over to Starlight, Trixie, Thorax, and Discord.

“But it was thanks to Starlight, Trixie, the before Prince Thorax and the deity Discord,” said Sam, “They were able to launch a rescue and freed their captured friends. And because of Starlight Glimmer and Thorax…next slide Max.”

Max switched over to what they look like now.

“Their forms have now completely changed and all of them became newly evolved Changelings, where they don’t need to rely on love to sustain themselves by starving to death. Next slide Max.”

Max switched over to Chrysalis fleeing.

“And because the Changelings have now seen reason,” said Sam, “Chrysalis was dethroned and no longer their leader. But because of her ego and lust for power, she refused friendship and to be their friend, causing her to flee so that she could one day plot her revenge against the ponies of Equestria. Next slide.”

Suddenly, the slide was of the two of them in swimsuits.

“Whoops!!!” exclaimed the both of them as they quickly packed it away, with Sam saying, “Sorry about that, that was from out last holiday.”

Everyone looked absolutely gob smacked by this. But not as gob smacked as the Mane 6 and Starlight.

“How did you know all that?!” shouted the Equestrians minus pony Pinkie Pie.

“Well duh, you’re on tee…” said Max before Sam covered his mouth.

“Now, now, Max.” said Sam, “No need to say it, otherwise their entire reality would shatter more than mother Theresa’s entire pottery collection in the great Quake of 89.”

“But can we at least show them our cards?” muffled Max.

“That we can.” Said Sam before releasing Max’s mouth and pulled out their own membership cards. “As you can see, we’re the official members of the 4th wall breaking club.”

“Breaking the walls that allow us to do crazy shenanigans that not even the audience can do that leaves them completely baffled and asks questions that can never be answered.” Said Max.

“Wait,” said Donnie in shock, “Did you say, breaking the 4th wall? Like a cartoon character?!”

“That’s right.” Said Max whilst putting his card away.

“In fact, your friend Pinkie Pie and her pony counterpart happens to be honorary 4th wall breakers as well.” Said Sam.

This shocked everyone as they looked at the two Pinkie Pies. The two of them smiled whilst showing their membership cards. This shocked everyone, for this answered all the questions that they couldn’t answer.

“That…would explain a lot.” Muttered Princess Twilight in shock.

When all of a sudden, they heard a small chittering. When they looked to their right, they saw what appeared to be a miniature folding lion Zord, which the Turtles and Rainbooms recognized.

“Is that…?” said a surprised Sunset.

“It’ can’t be.” Said Leo.

Everyone heard rustling noises and turned to the right. To their surprise, it was eight individuals who appeared from the forest, whom they recognized.

“Hey, it’s the Samurai Rangers!!” said Pinkie Pie.

“No way.” Said Mike.

“It is them.” Said Emily as the Samurai Rangers went to greet the Turtles, Rainbooms, human allies, Starlight, and Blade.

“It’s great to see all of you again.” Said Leo whilst also bowing to Mentor, “Wish it was under better circumstances.”

“Um, I’m lost here.” Said Davis.

Leo turned to the others and said, “Everyone, these are also friends of ours from another dimension. This is their Mentor, Ji. Then Jayden, Kevin, Mike, Mia, Emily, Antonio. And…who are you?”

They all noticed another girl with them, with Emily going over to her.

“This is my sister I was telling you about.” Said Emily, “This is Serena.”

“Wait, the one you told us was sick?” said Rarity surprised.

“Thanks to a mutual friend, he was able to cure her.” Said Mentor.

“Even though I’m not a Ranger, I still wanna do my part.” Said Serena, “So I decided to be the team medic, considering I always wanted to be a doctor.”

“In case you wonder,” said Older Tommy, “They’re Power Rangers too.”

“Wait, like them?” said TK whilst pointing at Younger Tommy and his friends.

“Not exactly.” Said Shine Boy, “Every generation or so, there are new Ranger Teams. Whilst Tommy and his group are the first generation, these are the Samurai group, the 18th generation.”

“Whoa, never knew there was that many.” Said Cody.

Mike noticed the newcomers and said, “Whoa, Superheroes, mutants, and…”

Suddenly, when he saw younger Tommy and the others, he was surprised to see them. “Whoa.”

This gained the Samurai Rangers’ attention, and was also surprised.

“No way.” Said Antonio surprised, “The original Rangers, the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.”

“That’s impossible.” Said Kevin.

“Did they time travel?” asked Mia.

“Not exactly,” said Older Tommy, “They recently started out on the Turtles and Rainbooms’ world.”

“Wow,” said Emily, “So there did exist Rangers in your world.”

“Batman,” said Jayden as he went over to the Dark Knight, “Good to see you again.”

“You as well.” Said Batman.

“But what the heck are all of you doing here?” asked Wally/Flash.

“We were told by a mutual friend of ours that all of you needed help,” said Mentor Ji, “But he also mentioned that some friends of yours were kidnapped, so we came to offer our assistance.”

“Were the other Rangers warned?” asked Karai.

“They were.” Said Older Tommy, “Right now, all of them are trying to gather their resources and powers and allies. Once they’re ready, they’ll be able to join us.”

“So, what’s the plan?” asked Jayden.

“We were just about to plan a divide and conquer strategy.” Said Barry/Flash.

“So, what’s the plan?” asked Nightwing.

Shine Boy stepped forward and said, “When we get closer to their base, we’ll have to start dividing our forces from there.”

“My brothers and our friends, along with the Rainbooms, Princess Twilight and her friends, Blade, Tempest, the CMC, the Dazzlings, the Shadowbolts, Team Shine, the Digidestined, and the Titans will try to infiltrate the base.”

“Everyone else will try to attack the front door to draw them out in order for the infiltration team to have an easier time to get inside and rescue the others.” Said Sunset.

“First thing’s first.” Said Kevin, “Before we split up, we should scout ahead and determine the course of action.”

“Agreed,” said Shine Boy, “Let’s go.”

Everyone soon darted off to rescue their friends.

Meanwhile, at an unknown location, with buildings that appeared to be red whilst many demons were around. You guessed it. The realm of Hell, the realm of all things sinners and evil roam. What could be going on there, no one knows.

Until a person with a cloak began to walk, going past unnoticed folks, which is the way he would keep it. That person was none other than Jacob Drake.

He kept on walking towards what appeared to be a club of sorts. He banged his fist against the door. After a few moments, the door opened, revealing to be a large demon with horns on top of his head, with a twin beside him.

“What do you want?” said the first demon.

“I’m here to see Morningstar.” Said Jacob.

“Never heard of him.” Said the second before grunting in shock.

It was revealed that Jacob jabbed a blade from his left wrist in the demon’s gut, causing the demon to turn into ash, which shocked the first.

“Why you!!” said the first before Jacob grabbed him by the throat and pulled him to his face.

“Tell your boss I’m here to see him.” Said Jacob in a threatening voice.

“Why should I?” grunted the demon.

Jacob then pulled out a badge of sorts, causing the demon to look. He gave a startled gasp whilst Jacob removed his hood. This caused the demon to be terrified as he was staring face to face with a terrifying enemy.

“Your boss.” Said Jacob before squinting his eyes, “Now.”

The demon gulped and chuckled nervously.

From within the club, there were many different demons you can imagine, whilst most looked human and would sometimes like to stay that way. However, from the far center, was a man sitting and chatting with the imps.

“Now then loves,” said the demon looking like a man, revealing to be none other than Lucifer. “I know that some of you don’t like the idea of being very touchy. But when it comes to my touch, I tend to be…very gentle.”

Lucifer was kissing the two imp girls’ necks, causing them to giggle at the same time.

However, the demon from before was running frantically, as if he desperately wanted to get to his boss.

“Sir!! Sir!!” shouted the demon.

Lucifer groaned when someone was calling him.

“Every blooming time.” Muttered Lucifer. “Excuse me ladies.”

Lucifer sat up right whilst the demon got in front of him at the other side of the table.

“Master!!” said the demon.

“Baratol, what did I tell you of interrupting me whenever I want to have some fun?” said Lucifer.

“But master,” said the demon in a panic, “You have a guest.”

“And what did I tell you about sending in demons of no importance to me.” Said Lucifer with a glare.

“This one is.” Said the demon as he handed a badge over to Lucifer and placed it onto the table.

Lucifer looked at the badge, then to the demon with a flexed eyebrow. He then reached out and grabbed it. But the moment he turned it around, he saw a symbol. The symbol of a sword and a scepter as its hilt. This symbol he instantly recognized, with Lucifer looking up in surprise.

“Oh, bloody…” muttered Lucifer as he instantly stood up and turned around.

Jacob then stood there, with the hood still over him. Even if he is concealing himself, anyone can recognize him. However, Lucifer was smiling instead of fearing him.

“Jacob Drake!!” said Lucifer loudly.

Suddenly everyone inside went silent and looked at Jacob in shock whilst some were startled.

Jacob stood there staring at Lucifer. However, one of the imp waitresses was about to trip, until Jacob caught her, which surprised the demon whilst a little scared.

“Ma’am?” said Jacob, then took out what appeared to be a demon delectable, which surprised her. Jacob offered it to her, which she took and ate. After she was done, she smiled and kissed Jacob before walking away, which surprised the demons. Jacob looked around and said, “Well? Carry on. It’s a party after all.”

The demons then looked relieved and carried on.

“Well, I’m at least thankful that you didn’t trash my party, not like last time.” Said Lucifer.

“We need to talk Lucifer, it’s important.” Said Jacob.

“Oh?” said Lucifer as he walked over and was close to Jacob. “And what could it be so important.”

Jacob took out a vial that was filled with blood, which caused Lucifer to look with a flexed eyebrow. However, the moment he grabbed it, he suddenly saw a demon screeching. But he didn’t let go, but had an intrigued look. He looked at Jacob, who still had a serious look on his face.

“Alright, you’ve got my attention.” Said Lucifer.

“I know it’s been a while,” said Jacob, “But I need your help in capturing it. I mean it was one of yours, remember.”

“Yes, a rogue one.” Said Lucifer. “Though I am surprised that bugger of a demon took over this individual. Last time it possessed someone powerful, it was a massive pain to remove it from you.”

“I already have plans to get him out of its host body.” Said Jacob, “But whilst it’s weakened, you can use that chance to contain it. That way, you don’t have to get your suit messed up like last time.”

“Oh, don’t remind me.” Said Lucifer. But then sighed and said, “Very well then. But I’m only doing this because that demon is of my creation, one of my knights, that went rogue. And because I owe you.”

“You’d better.” Said Jacob. “Lillith paid the price for what she tried to do with me, remember?”

“Oh, don’t remind me.” Said Lucifer. “Very well then, I’ll come along. But first, we’ll need to fetch something from my palace.”

“Alright then, let’s go.” Said Jacob as he grabbed him and teleported him away.

Everyone soon arrived at the dunes near the base as all of them were in cover. Most of them were watching through their own binoculars and super visions, whilst Shine Boy also used his sonar binoculars and surveyed the base.

“They’ve got a lot of guards in the front. Including Goldar, Scorpina, and Gladitron.”

“Looks like he recovered after the beating Roland gave him.” Said Gamer.

“I see a lot of our enemies there.” Said Shine Girl. “Their Gem Knights are also there.”

“I even see most of Vilgax’ drones.” Said Rook from his binoculars.

“Even lots or Lord Zedd and Rita’s putties, same with their forces from the Machine Empire, Astronema and Gromm’s forces.” Said Older Tommy.

“And…” said Venus before squinting her eyes, then widened them in shock and said, “No way.”

“What is it?” said Hal/Green Lantern.

“I think Sinestro and Atrocitus are with them…and their own armies.” Said Venus.

They looked through their binoculars and sure enough, they saw many Ring bearers like Sinestro, as well as Red Lanterns, taking them by shock.

“That’s not good.” Said John/Green Lanter, “Especially with the Manhunters among the group.”

However, among them, was a mercenary with his own robot army, causing Nightwing to squint his eyes in anger.

“Slade.” Muttered Nightwing.

“Wait, Slade’s here, too?” said Beast Boy.

“Well, he is a mercenary,” said Red Hood, “It makes sense for him and his own private army to be here as well.”

“I’m surprised not all the villains from the Justice League’s world are here. I mean you’d figured that all of them would take the opportunity to take over worlds.” said Invictus whilst looking at the villains.

“Knowing them, most would rather stay behind.” Said Silverbolt, “The greedy nature of a criminal would rather hog all of the riches for themselves and not share it with anybody.”

“Surprisingly, the kid’s got a point.” Said Green Arrow whilst he was able to ready the last of his arrows. “We’ve fought most of our enemies when we were in the alternate Turtles’ world, and I didn’t spot Merlyn with them.”

Mikey was about to say something, but then Venus clasped his mouth shut and said, “Not the Wizard, Mikey, he’s talking about a guy named Malcolm Merlyn, who happens to be an archer and is on equal footing with Green Arrow.”

“You seem to know your villains.” Said Black Canary.

“What,” said Venus, “You think I was goofing off and playing video games? I was reading all your enemies via files.”

“You seriously need a hobby.” Said Rainbow Dash.

“Reading files, is my hobby.” Said Venus, baffling everyone else.

“Okay, that’s freaky.” Said Yolei.

Venus then smirked and said, “At least I don’t draw a face around my belly button and try to make it talk.”

This caused Yolei to gasp in shock and cover it, whilst half the folks looked at her in shock.

“I was wondering what that strange noise in your room was.” Said Hawkmon, causing everyone to laugh.

“Enough.”

Everyone looked at Batman and saw the look he was giving, meaning that there was no time for any foolishness around.

“Batman’s right,” said Tai, “Our friends are still in there and they need our help.”

Shine Boy looked through his binoculars and said, “They’ve got a lot of heavy hitters.”

“So, what’s the plan?” asked Davis.

“The Rainbooms, Turtles, Mane 6, Blade, Tempest, CMC, Beebop, Rocksteady, Bright Eyes, Teddy, Titans, MMPR, and Samurai Rangers will be going with my team.” Said Shine Boy, “The rest can try to keep us busy, just to try and throw them off.”

“You got it.” Superman nodded before turning to Slash and Leatherhead. “You two want to lead?”

Slash smirked as Leatherhead nodded.

From the entrance of the base, every troop in the Shredder’s army was guarding the place, until a handful of arrows struck at a few locations, blowing up a few Kraang and Footbots in the process, gaining everyone’s attention.

“Attack!!” shouted Superman, allowing the strike team to attack.

“Intruders!!” shouted Goldar as he pointed his sword.

“Attack!!” shouted Gladitron as he pointed his mace at the attackers.

From the Rock N Beats, Ace was charging towards a Gem Knight and did the rockstar slide, then hooked his hand on its leg, allowing him to lift himself up and deliver a swift kick, with Melody charging and threw her 2 Chakrams, allowing her to slice two of Vilgax’ drones in half, before catching them and charged. Patch fought against two of Rita’s Putties, whilst Half-Note sliced down two of Lord Zedd’s putties with one strike. Sweetheart took down two Cogs with her chain claw, Clover Bloom took down a few Krybots with her Bamboo sword, with Lancer taking down a Bluehead with his Naginata Blades.

From the Mighty Mutanimals, Slash pounded many Orange-headed Krybots with his Mace, whilst Leatherhead roared and tackled a few Manhunters over with his teeth. Rockwell levitated many Kraang and tossed them away whilst Pidgeon Pete used his Kraang blaster to blast many of the Footbots away. Mondo Gecko rode around on his skateboard with a couple of grenades.

“Coming at ya!!” shouted Mondo before jumping and planted a few on the Gem Knights, causing them to explode.

Bandit ran and jumped on a few Quantrons and ripped out their wires, with Alopex speeding around and slicing many Krybots. Traximus and Zeno were tackling many of Slade’s Mercenaries over, with Sal Commander and Mona Lisa shooting down a few Red Lanterns and Sinestro Corps, thanks to their weapons that have been modified to deal with them. Ray Fillet used his spear to take down a few Manhunters, whilst Hokum Rabbit kept jumping around and stomped on every Gem Knight he sees.

For the Dazzlings, Adagio, Aria, and Sonata charged in a triangle formation whilst avoiding many Krybots. They landed close by, allowing Adagio to slice them using her Sword, Aria bashing them with her Tri-baton chuck, with Sonata using her tonfas to whack many of them away.

From the Shadowbolts, Sour Sweet was running around and swung her chains around, taking down a few Footbots, whilst she was able to wrap both her chains around a Gem Knight and tossed it aside. Sugarcoat uses her Chigiriki Mace to take down a few Krybots. Sunny dodges many Vilgax drones whilst darting over to them and sliced a few. However, she remembered that pounce Roland did. Though it scared her a bit, she tried it. She pounced and jabbed both drones down.

“Well, what do you know, it works.” Said Sunny Flare whilst being surprised.

Lemon Zest ran around, using her Kanabo clubs to bash a few of Slade’s mercenaries whilst using a double kick on two of them, whilst Indigo Zap charged and used her Guandao spear to slice a few Cogs whilst twirling it around at the same time.

From the Young Six, Sandbar was charging with his Tanto blade and cut down many Footbots, Yona uses her mace to smash a few Vilgax Drones, Gallus ran around and fought against many Quantrons as they fought with their blades. Smolder jumped up and doubled kicked a few Krybots whilst using her Kusari Fundo to twirl it around and smash both the Blue and Orange headed Krybots. Ocellus keeps moving her body around whilst also avoiding many blasts from every one of Slade’s mercenaries and uses them as shurikens before taking it back, whilst Silverstream backed her up using her double claw staff.

From Team Tennyson, Ben turns into Feedback and uses his power to absorb and fight back against the Red Lanterns and Sinestro Corps. Kevin absorbs the Manhunter matter and uses the power to smash them, whilst Gwen uses her magic to blast a few Sinestro Corps away. Rook and Manny use their blasters to blast the Manhunters, whilst Helen uses her speed to bash the Red Lanterns and Allen using his fire to try and burn them.

From the Crystal Gems, Steven jumped around and used his bubble shield to bash against a Red Lantern, with Garnet punching a Sinestro Corps’ face. Pearl fought against a Manhunter with her trident whilst Amethyst uses her whips to whip a few Vilgax Drones in half. Connie blocked a Quantron whilst Bismuth backed her up. Lapas washed the Putties away with her water powers whilst Peridot uses her limb enhancers to take down many Krybots.

From up ahead, Silverbolt was going around doing a double kick at a few Putties, then punched many Footbots left and right, then used his wrist gauntlets to fire at many incoming Vilgax Drones, whilst Invictus kept swinging his big sword around, slicing many Footbots in half whilst using his big pistol to shoot down many Manhunters.

From the Justice League, the fight got really interesting.

Batman fought many Footbots with his martial arts skills whilst he jumped in the air and threw many of his Batarangs, causing them to explode on impact against the Cogs. Superman used his superstrength to punch the Red Lanterns and Sinestro Corps away hard whilst using his laser vision to bring down many Manhunters. Wonder Woman uses her braces to block the shots fired from the Gem Knights, until she uses her lasso to ensnare one and threw it against the other, whilst pulling out her sword and shield to slice many Krybots. John Stewart and Hal Jordan kept flying around using their constructs to fight against the Red Lanterns and Sinestro Corps, whilst Barry Allen and Wally West use their speeds to take down many Footbots and Kraang.

Martian Manhunter uses his shapeshifting abilities into bigger monsters to take down many Vilgax drones, with Hawk Girl and Hawk Man flying around and bash the Gem Knights with their maces. Green Arrow stood his ground and use his arrows to take down many Krybots that tried to attack him from all around whilst Black Canary backed him up using her Canary cry. Red Tornado flew around using his tornadoes to launch many Quantrons away, whilst Aquaman uses his trident to take down most of Slade’s mercenaries, whilst Black Lightning shot his lighting at the Manhunters, with Captain Atom and Icon flying around and busting heads.

In the secret base, ‘Josh’ walked over to a device. At the device were the captured Digidestined unconscious on experiment tables with straps on their wrists and legs as they were hooked to the machine. Their Digimon partners were in containment units also unconscious. Their weapons and Digivices were set the on tables next to them. ‘Josh’ transformed into Queen Chrysalis as she checked the connections.

“Enjoying your stay, Matt?” She teased as she tightened the cable connected to his table. She then walked over to Mimi. “Looking good, Mimi.”

Just then something beeped on the monitors. Chrysalis growled as she answered. “What?”

“Chrysalis. Report.” Shredder appeared on a screen.

“The process is going according to plan. The tanks are fifty percent full of the Digital data collected by the Digidestined. Soon you will have enough to make an army of Digimon.” Boasted Chrysalis.

“Your job is not complete until you’ve captured all the Digidestined! By now, the remaining children have contacted the Turtles and their friends for reinforcements.”

Chrysalis sneered. “I’m expecting that! By the time they arrive, they will be confused when the real Josh tries to prove himself and they question his loyalty then the Foot Bots and Putties will finish them! Can’t you grasp that single fact?”

“See that you succeed, Chrysalis! Or your punishment for your attitude will be worse than Cozy Glows.” Shredder warned.

Chrysalis huffed as she signed off. “Imbecile! I don’t care if he did kill my enemies in his home world!”

Then there was another beeping on the console she glared as she answered. “What?”

“The heroes have entered the base and taken on our forces down!” Goldar roared as he fought against Garnet while Superman smashed a couple Putties.

“WHY DOES ZEDD EVEN BOTHER WITH AN INCOMPETENT LIKE YOU!” Chrysalis yelled before pushing a button. “DIABOROMON!

Diaboromon growled in response as Chrysalis spoke to him.

“The Digidestined have arrived with their allies and no doubt with your predecessor. Go to the tank and get your buddy then meet me in the lab.”

Diaboromon nodded before Chrysalis signed off.

“Time to fight the genuine article.” She smirked as she transformed into Josh.

As the group hurried in the base, they noticed the advanced machinery all around them.

“Woo! Check out the fancy decor!” Bebop whistled.

“Definitely a mix of Dimension X tech and Digital World tech.” Fugitoid observed.

“It’s nothing but bad memories is what it is.” Ken frowned.

Yolei placed her hand on his shoulder as Mondo spoke. “Look at it this way, Ken. If this place wasn’t used for evil, it be perfect for a far-out sci-fi convention!” He hummed a certain theme from a galaxy far, far away.

“Yeah. You could reenact certain scenes from that science fiction movie.” Mikey smiled.

“If you act like that big hairy guy again, Mikey, I’m gonna be the one growling.” Raph huffed.

“Will you guys get a move on?” Leo hushed. “There might be some guards waiting for us.”

“You sure you don’t want to do your praise for Space Heroes, Leo?” Raph teased.

“We have a rescue mission.” Leo gritted his teeth.

“Yes o Capitan!” Raph gestured before griping to himself. “What’s got him so serious?”

“Beep, boop, beep.” Max pretended to be a robot.

“He says there are several foot bots heading towards us.” Sam translated.

“That’s not what I said.” Max grinned. “I said there ain’t a vending machine in this base. Seriously, Ken? Didn’t you ever get hungry?”

“Cmon!” Shine Boy pointed.

“Leo’s right about one thing.” Sunset stated. “We are on a rescue mission.”

“Hopefully, there’s a reactor where the other Digidestined are. I’ll make the call.”

They soon arrived at a very large doorway, only problem was, there was no way into opening it.

“Whoa, that’s a very big door.” Said Mikey.

“How the heck are we supposed to open it?!” said Donnie.

“I have a way.” Said Sam, “Come on Max, this is where we have our time to shine.”

“You got it, buddy.” Said Max as he walked next to his partner.

“Pff, what’s he gonna do, ram it down?” said Raph in sarcasm.

Suddenly, Max pulled out a football helmet and put it on, which surprised everyone.

“What in tarnation are y’all gonna do with that there helmet?” said Apple Bloom surprised.

After they got in position, Sam said, “Remember kids. We’re trained professional cartoon characters. Don’t ever try this at home.”

Suddenly Sam grabbed Max and formed him into a ball, allowing him to throw him with all his might and crashed through the door, causing the entire door to fall over, causing everyone to be baffled and shocked at the same time.

Max then popped up and said, “We’re home!!”

“How in tarnation is that even possible?!” exclaimed pony Applejack in shock.

“Dias mios!!” said Antonio as he was just as shocked.

“Well, he did say they were trained cartoon professionals.” Said Pinkie Pie.

“Alright then folks,” said Sam once Max stood back up, “This is it. We’re going in hard to save the Digidestined and their partner Digimon. If you see Josh, don’t mistake him for our Josh.”

“Right,” said Princess Twilight in realization, “Chrysalis might still be in there.”

“Precisely.” Said Sam.

“But how are we going to make sure which is which?” said Davis.

“How about making him wear his underpants on the outside?” said Max.

Suddenly everyone sees Josh wearing his underpants on the outside.

“Yipe!!” exclaimed Josh in shock as he covered himself, causing half the folks to laugh at him.

“No way Max, think of the kids.” Said Sam.

“Oh right, right.” Said Max. “But wait, Superman wears his underpants on the outside!! Same with Batman!!”

This caused everyone to pause and be surprised at the same time.

“You know, surprisingly the rabbit has a point.” Said Static.

“I think I’ve got just the thing.” Said Sam as he pulled out what appeared to be the world’s biggest repellant. He then shook it and sprayed it all over them, which took them all by surprise, whilst all of them coughed at the same time.

“What the heck was that about?!” said Rainbow.

“You’ll just have to wait and see.” Said Sam.

“But not time to explain!!” said Max when he pulled out what appeared to be an hourglass and said, “We’re on a rush hour time here!!”

“He’s right.” Said Leo as he looked at the others, “We need to rescue the others and fast, otherwise who knows what might happen!!”

Everyone rushed through, hoping to get to the others in time. Whilst at the same time, something was watching them from the shadows.

At the same time, all of them were running down the hall, hoping to find the rest of their friends whilst all of them fought against many guards at the same time.

“I’m getting a couple signals ahead!” Davis held his Digivice as the heroes fought their way through the hallway.

“Keep going guys!” Leo cried as he slashed a putty.

Sam and Max were tag teaming as the bunny plowed through the Foot Bots. “Scuse me pardon me coming through hot stuff!”

“There they are!” Ken cried as they hurried in the lab.

“Booya!” Cyborg cried as he punched a Footbot.

Sure enough, they arrived at the next room. There, they saw the rest of their friends strapped down whilst their partner Digimon were in cages and unconscious too.

“There they are!!” said Rubberband Man.

“Quick, blast the computers!!” said Cyborg as he and Starlight quickly destroyed the computers.

Sam pulled out a bazooka and fired as well. As the computers were destroyed, Karai, Night Shine, and Jason slashed the shackles off as the Digidestined woke up. Starfire, Fluttershy, and Gwen helped the Digimon out of their containers as they woke up.

“Tai? Davis, what’s going on?” Groaned Matt.

“The last thing I remember is Josh wanted to talk and there were these robots and clay guys.” Sora rubbed her eyes.

“That wasn’t Josh. And that wasn’t his Diaboromon.” Tai explained.

“It was Chrysalis. And that was the Diaboromon that attacked the internet years ago.” TK added.

“Oh man. That’s a nightmare I wished I woke up.” Willis groaned.

Mimi was helped out by Beast Boy when she saw the tank of data. “What’s that?”

“Is that… data?” Joe gasped.

“That must be Shredder’s plan. He wants to harness our Digivices and build a Digimon army!” Izzy hypothesized.

“Not on my watch!” Shine Boy ran up and pulled out a star shape contraption.

“A shine bomb?” Gamer blinked.

“It’ll buy us five minutes while putting a wrench in Shredder’s plans.” Shine boy said as he placed the bomb and it started blinking. He was suddenly stopped by Venus, gaining his attention.

“Set it to thirty.” Said Venus, “Because if they catch wind of what’s really going on?”

“Agreed.” Said Leo as he stepped forward, “If they catch what was going on, no doubt they’ll send the rest of their forces inside, and we can’t teleport unless they have a complete fix on our location.”

“Alright, thirty it is.” Said Shine Boy as he set it whilst placing it on the computers.

“What now? Call a taxi?” Yolei griped.

“Hey, behave!!” said Max before he turned around, “Don’t make me sick my tail on you.”

“Oh, what are you gonna do?” griped Yolei again, “Fluff me to…”

Suddenly the tail bounced off and had razor sharp teeth as it roared at them, shocking everyone, even Yolei as she kept quiet.

“Holy, Peperoni, it’s alive!!” shouted Mikey, causing the tail to roar at her again.

“Any other objections?” said Max once his tail was back to normal and stood back, whilst everyone was dead silent. “Didn’t think so.”

Sam laughed and said, “You crack me up, little buddy.”

“Better start jogging.” Shine Boy cried as he ordered everyone to beat it as the CHS students gave the Digidestined their weapons and Digivices back and freeing their Digimon.

“Oh, thank goodness, it was cramped in there.” Said Tentomon.

“No kidding,” said Palmon, “It was really uncomfortable.”

“You can complain later,” said Raph, “Right now we’ve got to get out of dodge, and fast.”

“This way everyone.” Said Leo as everyone quickly began to leave the room.

They continued to run out of the room, until they were at a very much larger room, until Josh was tackled over, causing smoke to appear, making them all stop. When they cleared, there were two Joshes, which surprised everyone.

“Wait, two of them?!” said Joe.

“Which is which?!” said Mimi.

“Guys, it’s me!!” said Josh.

“No, I’m Josh!!” said the other one.

That’s when Sam shouted, “’Little buddy, remember the spray!!”

That’s when Josh clicked and remembered of how he got sprayed on. He then grabbed the other Josh’s face and place it against under his arms. The moment the other Josh got a whiff, he suddenly gagged and quickly pulled away, whilst she suddenly morphed into different forms, until it finally turned into his true from.

That of Chrysalis.

“What is that repulsive odor?!” exclaimed Chrysalis.

“Ha!! Knew that would work!!” said Sam.

“What did you spray on us?” said a confused Donnie.

Max pulled out the large can and said out loud, “Changeling Repellent. The only thing to repel a Changeling wanting to capture you and take your place.”

“Just don’t tell Ocellus about it, it can be very hazardous to Changeling Children.”

“Chrysalis.” Growled Princess Twilight as she and Blade stood ready.

Chrysalis took a good look at the human, and realized who it was.

“You!!” growled Chrysalis, knowing instantly who it was.

“You made a mistake leaving Equestria, Chrysalis.” Said Princess Twilight, “But we’ll make sure that you pay for what you did.”

“Yeah!!” said Mikey, “Especially for what you tried to do to the Tree of Harmony!!”

“You knew?!” said Chrysalis shocked.

“The tree of harmony showed us, yo!!” said Casey.

“No matter how hard you try Chrysalis, harmony will never bow to the likes of you!!” said Leo.

“Grr, we’ll see about that!!” said Chrysalis before she blew a whistle.

Within mere moments, many Putties, Z-Putties, Cogs, Krybots, Quantrons, Vilgax’ drones, Gem Knights, as well as many Kraang and Footbots. Along with Fishface, Tiger Claw, Gladitron, and many other villains.

As they stood their ground, Bright Eyes noticed that there was a pony among them. But then she was a little surprised, and recognized her.

“Wait, is that pony who I think it is?” asked Bright Eyes.

Princess Twilight also noticed, and was shocked to see who it was.

“Cozy Glow?!” said Princess Twilight, which those who knew were shocked to see it.

“Wait, that’s Cozy Glow?!” exclaimed Mikey.

“But she looks…older?” said a confused pony Rainbow Dash.

“That I am!!” said Cozy Glow with a sneer, “Because of all of you after we lost back at the 96 world, Shredder blamed me for my failure, causing Lord Zedd to turn me into…this!!!”

“Hey, don’t blame us, not our fault you stink!!” said Venus. “And besides, you were never even a good villain to begin with!!”

“And at least this is an improvement than your child version.” Said Mikey, which his brothers gave him a dry look.

“Hmph,” huffed Chrysalis, “Surprisingly I agree with the Turtle. But it matters not. For we have you all surrounded!!”

“That’s where you’re wrong Chrysalis.” Said Leo, “You may have beaten us before, but this time, we have more allies here who are willing to stand up to tyrants like you.”

After saying that, the rest of the Turtles and their human allies, the Mane 6, Blade, Tempest, CMC, Beebop, Rocksteady, the Titans, Static, Gears, Rubberband Man, Bright Eyes, Team Shine, Teddy, the Digidestined and their partner Digimon got ready for a full-on fight.

“Let’s do it guys.” Said Jayden. “Samuraizers!!”

Jayden and his Samurai team began to pull out their Samuraizers and shouted, “Go, go, Samurai!!”

After writing their own symbols, each of them morphed into their respective Ranger powers, surprising the Digidestined, Titans, and some of the Equestrians, considering it’s the first time seeing a different ranger team.

“Whoa, that’s cool.” Said Davis.

“Let’s get ready guys!!” said Tommy. Then he looked at the Rainbooms with a smirk. “You girls wanna join in?”

This perked the Rainbooms up, with Sunset asking, “Are you sure?”

“Yeah,” said Zack, “Besides, we never get to do this often. And how often do you use your Morphers and fight just for the fun of it?”

This surprised the Rainbooms as they looked at one another. Then they smirked and looked at them.

“Somehow we thought you’d never ask, darling.” Said Rarity.

“What are you guys talking about?” said a confused Amethyst.

“Oh, you’ll see.” Said Rainbow before looking at Kevin, “You too, jockstrap.”

“Excuse me?” said Kevin, feeling a bit insulted.

“Watch this,” said Sunset as she and the Rainbooms stood in position with the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. “Lead the way Tommy.”

Tommy couldn’t help but chuckle at this, allowing the original Rangers to stand in position. But then he got an idea and said to his older self, “Why don’t you take the lead.”

Older Tommy chuckled at his younger self’s suggestion. Then he took the lead as the others stood in position. “It’s morphing time!!”

“HONESTY!”

TIGER ZORD!!

“GENEROSITY!”

“MASTODON!!"

“LOYALTY!”

“LAUGHTER!”

Within a split second, they were in their full ranger forms, which once again surprised the Digidestined. But not just them, but the Samurai Rangers as well.

“You’ve got to be kidding me!!” exclaimed Kevin when he sees Rainbow as a Ranger. “How can you be a Ranger?!”

“Jealous?” said Rainbow Dash.

“Focus, Rainbow.” Said Leo, causing the said athlete to get ready too. Then he looked at the Digidestined. “I don’t know if your Digimon have enough energy to Digivolve, so use what you have until we find a way to energize them.”

“Got it,” said Tai, “Get ready everyone.”

Once they got in position, Leo shouted, “Alright everyone!! Take them down!!”

As they left the lab, a giant arm grabbed Josh and Keramon all of the sudden.

“Josh!” Gasped Shine Boy and Sunset.

Turned out the arm was the evil Diaboromon as Josh and Keramon readied to fight.

“Forget about me! Get the others out of here!” Josh called.

Shine Boy hesitated at first but knew he was right. “Cmon! We gotta go!”

Sunset agreed as they hurried to the others.

“Hello, brethren.” Diaboromon growled.

“At least I ain’t hurting my friends!” Keramon snapped back.

“They will never trust you again anymore.”

“Then it’s time we clear our good names.” Josh said as he drew his nunchucks and Digivice.

KERAMON WARP DIGIVOLVE TO…

“No!” Diaboromon tried to stop Keramon from Digivolve, but Keramon dodged as he flashed through Chrysalismon and Infermon and finally Diaboromon.

“DIABOROMON!”

Diaboromon attacked his clone counterpart head on whilst Josh backed him up by fighting Vilgax’ robot lackies.

However, some of the Digidestined dodged another attack. When they looked up, it was none other than Cherubimon.

“Cherubimon?!” exclaimed half the Digidestined.

“Whoa, Déjà vu.” Said Terriermon whilst Lopmon slightly cowered behind him.

“Not if we have anything to say about it!!” said Tai, “We weren’t there to face you, but now you face all of us!!”

“Right!!” said the Digidestined and their partner Digimon as all of them charged for a fight.

Everyone charged in different directions and attacked on all fronts. The Mane 6 decided to fight Chrysalis, considering all of them have a bone to pick with her.

“Grrr,” growled Chrysalis as she recognized the rest of the Mane 6. “Even in another world you lot continue to pester my plans!!”

“Y’all are the one who tried to tear our friendships apart!!” said pony Applejack.

“Indeed,” said Rarity, “You had your chances to turn your life around, but you squander it over a grudge!!”

“This time, you’re the one that’s going to pay for what you did to Equestria!!” said Princess Twilight.

“Let’s kick her flank!!” shouted pony Pinkie Pie as all of them charged.

Blade fought many Cogs whilst using his sword to block and strike them, before charging up his lightning powers to shoot lightning at the enemy, whilst Tempest backed him up using her fists to punch many Putties.

“I have to admit, this is quite the workout.” Said Tempest before punching another, “We should consider creating something like this to train the guards.”

“Agreed,” said Blade, “All of them could use a challenge.”

The CMC were charging around, bringing down many Kraang robots and Footbots at the same time, as well as some Putties.

“Gotta admit, this is a nice change of pace.” Said Apple Bloom.

“What, fighting robots?” said Sweetie Belle after she threw a Footbot over her shoulder

“No, the Putties.” Said Apple Bloom.

“Yeah, too bad we didn’t get much action fighting these guys.” Said Scootaloo before delivering a roundhouse kick.

“Hee, hee!!” said Beebop whilst skating around and jumping in the air before firing his laser mohawk and shouted, “Coming at ya!!”

As a few Cogs were down, Rocksteady charged from out of nowhere and bashed through a few Gem Knights.

Shine Boy delivered a roundhouse kick to one Footbot whilst Night Shine sliced another, whilst Shine Girl grabbed a Krybot and flipped it over using her entire body.

Gamer jumped on a Foot Bot and began pounding it, even if it was destroyed beyond repair.

Venus noticed this and shouted, “Gamer! Gamer! Enough! I think you got him already.”

Gamer panted before running back into battle. Sweetie Belle saw this and looked worried before returning to battle as well. Love Shine wrestled with a couple of putty patrollers as they began to pile on him.

“About time somebody gave you putties the bird!” He grunted.

Just then, Carter in his Raptor form jumped in and swiped the putties off Love Shine who stabbed any remaining one with his photon blades. The two high fived each other before returning to the fight.

Static flew over the Footbots and shouted, “Time to put a shock in your system!!”

Static shot them with his electrical abilities, whilst Gears used his gadgets to bring a few more of them down whilst Rubberband Man turned into a ball and crashed through the Kraang like a bowling ball.

The Samurai Rangers fought against not just the Kraang, but Putties and other baddies as well.

“I have to admit,” said Mike after he kicked a Footbot away, “The Kraang were tough, but now I know how the other Rangers felt when they faced their enemies!!”

“Agreed!!” said Emily, “I didn’t think they had it this tough!!”

“Just don’t lose any focus, and we’ll get through this!!” said Jayden before striking.

“Agreed!!” said Mentor before he delivered his own punch, “We need to buy the others time!!”

Tai fought with his two katana swords whilst Agumon backing him up using his Pepper Breath. Matt fought with his two Sai Daggers, with Gabumon backing him up with his Blue Blaster. Sora fought with her 2 Kama sickles whilst Biyomon backed her up with her Spiral Twister. Izzy fought with his Kamayari Sickle Spear whilst Tentomon backed him up with his Super Shocker.

Mimi fought with her Tanto Blades whilst Palmon backed her up with her poison ivy. Joe fought with his Fukedake Blowgun whilst Gomamon pounced on a clawed a Puttie at the same time. TK fought with his Bo-staff whilst Patamon backed him up with his boom bubble. Kari fought with her two Tessen fans with Gatomon backing her up with her lightning paw.

Davis fought with his Tri-baton chuck with Veemon backing him up with his headbutts. Yolei fought with her Kurisama Sickle and Chain whilst Hawkmon backed her up using his feather slash. Cody fought with his two kadachi blades whilst Armadillomon backs him up with his diamond shell attack. Ken fought with his tonfas whilst Wormmon fights using his thread punch.

Marie Mox fought with her own martial arts with Clawmon backing her up using his poison claw attacks. Willis fought with a Kraang blaster whilst Terriermon fought with his Bunny Blast and Lopmon using her Blazing ice. Josh fought with his nunchucks whilst Keramon backed him up with his Bug blaster.

Mikey was thrown near a cell door as Bebop and Rocksteady regrouped near.

“Where our backup while they get the backup?” Rocksteady grumbled as he began to mutter in Russian.

“Yeah! There’s too many of them!” Bebop added.

Suddenly, they began to hear yelling from the cell door. “Hey! You better let us out of here! I got my rights! Nobody said anything that I have the right to remain silent! You’re supposed to say I have the right to remain silent! NOW WHERES MY LAWYER YA TIN CANS?!”

“Wait. I know that voice.” Bebop opened the viewer and he and Rocksteady looked in.

“Comrade Ogremon, is that you?” Rocksteady called in the cell.

“Well, look what the Gatomon drag in! Bebop! Rocksteady! Get us out of here!”

Then they heard another male voice. “Hurry! We need to stop Shredder before he makes his Digimon army!”

Bebop turned to Rocksteady. “Rock! You heard em! We got back up! RAM THE DOOR!”

“Da! Stand back!” Rocksteady backed up and roared before charging at the cell door breaking it down. As the smoke cleared, Rocksteady walked out with the Digimon Allies Ogremon and Leomon.

“Finally! Any longer in there and I’d have to write my memoirs!” Ogremon stretched.

“Leomon! Ogremon!” Tai cheered.

Leomon drew his sword. “Now let’s even the odds!”

“Oh boy! An all you can beat buffet!” Ogremon raised his club.

“Jump on in!” Raph called as he jump kicked a Foot Bot.

Nightwing jumps around and uses his acrobatic skills to kick a few Footbots, Batgirl jumps up and throws her Batarangs whilst Robin flips a Gem Knight over his shoulder. Blue Beetle flies alongside Starfire as the two of them shoot their own lasers and flew over may Gem Knights.

“Azerath!! Metrion!! Zinthos!!” shouted Raven as she unleashed her magic to knock many Putties away whilst Cyborg fires his arm cannon at the Z-Putties, with Beast Boy turning into a Rhino and charged over many Cogs.

Bright Eyes deflected many Kraang blasters with her nunchucks whilst her brother backed her up using his Hammer. April uses her psychic powers to blast many Putties away whilst Casey shot his photon pucks and blew up a few Kraang flyers. Nightwatcher uses his sparring sticks to bash and kick a few of Vilgax’ drones away, whilst Shinigami flipped over a Gem Knight whilst Karai jumped over and delivered a roundhouse kick.

From within the center, the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and the Rainbooms were fighting side by side against many Putties and Z-Putties.

“Have you guys ever compared notes?!” said Pinkie Pie to the Rangers.

“About what?!” said Kimberly as she flipped over a Putty.

“About Lord Zedd and Rita’s putties?” said Pinkie Pie, “About who’s the strongest among them?!”

“You know I’ve been kind of wonderin’ that mahself!!” said Applejack as she used her strength and claws to slash them away.

“Come to think of it, I don’t think we ever did!!” said Trini.

“We should compare notes before we get back!!” said Jason.

“I can answer that!!” said Older Tommy, “Rita’s putties!!”

“Really?!” said Tommy.

“She somehow came back seeking revenge and summoned her putties!!” said Tommy before using his Dragon Dagger to slash a Z-Putty away, “We never thought we’d be easily beaten!! And she ended up holding me, Jason, and Kimberly hostage!!”

“How did that happen?!” said Billy before using his Power Lance.

“Long story!!” said Older Tommy.

The Turtles did everything they could to fight whilst backing up the Rainbooms.

Zack ended up fighting Fishface one on one. As the black ranger blocked a kick from the fish, Fishface hissed at him.

“Augh! What you eat? A dead guy?” Zack joked before drawing his Power Axe firing the fish off him.

“Never did like Power Rangers.” Fishface muttered before charging towards him.

Davis tag teamed with Amethyst and fought some Foot Bots. One tried to jump them but was caught by Ex-Veemon who bit off its head.

“Crunchy.” He mumbled. “I was hoping for a creme filling.”

“You need to lay off the snack cakes.” Davis griped.

Kari and April tag teamed with their Tessen while Shine Boy fought with his CDA Staff. Suddenly, Shine Boy clenched his chest as if he was in pain. He knelt down before Goldar walked up to him laughing.

“Lord Zedd will be pleased when I return with your mask, warrior of light!” He laughed.

Suddenly, he was knocked away by a psychic blast by April who hurried to pick him up.

“Are you okay?” Kari asked helping.

“I’ll be fine.” Shine Boy grunted.

April then felt her head. “You… Helping Roland has taken its toll on you.”

“Just don’t tell anyone.” Shine Boy said. “I can’t falter, not with Roland in his demon form. I’ll just have to shake it off.”

“But you’re in pain.” Kari pleaded.

“I work through pain.” Shine Boy stood up.

“Okay. But you better stay close to us.” April advised.

Shine boy nodded as they continued to fight.

Blade fought Tiger Claw one on one sword to sword. As they clashed, Tiger Claw sneered. “A pity we are enemies. You fight well.”

“Another time perhaps. But unlike you…” Tiger Claw was then kicked on the side by Tempest and blown away by snow curtesy of Permafrost as Blade finished with the two at his side. “I have family who look after me as I look after them.”

“Look out!” Ken jumped in and whacked a Gem Knight that tried to grab Yolei from behind with his tonfas. As a couple more Foot Bots surround the two, Yolei and Ken began treating their attacks like a dance and kicked or punch the bots and knights away. With a moment to catch their breath, the two smile at each other as Yolei tried hiding her blush chuckling.

Cody was backed to a corner when Tommy sliced his foes with Saba and helped him up. “You okay, little guy?”

“Yeah. Thank you.” Cody panted.

“Leave this to me.” The White Ranger stood ready when Digimon stood next to his side.

“Mind if I join ya?” he joked before the two fought off the Foot Bots.

“Titans! Go!” Nightwing declared as he combined his batons into a staff and hit Cherubimon at the side while Blue Beetle and Static fired their attacks after.

“Azarath Metrion Zinthos!” Raven used her powers to lift broken walls and threw them at the bad Digimon as Starfire and Cyborg fired next. Beast Boy got a lift from Gear before turning into a walrus and dropping on Cherubimon before jumping away.

“Go for it, Leo!” Gear cried.

Leo ran up and slashed Cherubimon with his sword.

“Booyakasha!” Mikey shouted as he skated up and hit Cherubimon with his nunchucks and kicked up his skateboard up.

“My turn!” Raph threw his sais and kicked the skateboard at Cherubimon before Donnie jumped up and hit him with his staff.

“SHELL SHOCK!” The Turtles shouted as they slammed their shells on Cherubimon.

“That got him!” Ace boasted.

“Think again!” Suddenly, Cherubimon sprang back up from the attack. However, he was suddenly juggling Sam and Max at the same time.

“Not as much fun as it looks!!” shouted Max.

“Not to worry Max,” said Sam when he looked to his right, “For right as of this moment, a certain gator will come to our rescue in our most dire situation.”

Leatherhead roared as he suddenly tackled him. “You're beginning to annoy me!”

Suddenly, Night Shine stood next to Shine Boy as he said, “We need to take him down, together!!”

“Right, I’ll try!!” said Shine Boy.

Both Shine Boy and Night Shine charged towards Cherubimon and combined with their powers, they both charged against Cherubimon like a speeding bullet, knocking him to pieces at the same time, causing them to land on the other side. Just as Cherubimon began to regenerate, both Shine Boy and Night Shine shot their full power against Cherubimon in order to keep him from regenerating.

Meanwhile, with the Mane 6’s fight.

“Enough!!” shouted Chrysalis as she blasted the Mane 6 away. They stood in position and prepared for another fight. “Even in your human forms you are no match for me!! For you face the most horrifying being in all of Equestria!!”

“Leave Chrysalis to us.” Sam said as he walked passed the group with Max.

“You focus on getting the others out.” Max trotted. “Besides, Flutters is giving me that look again.

Chrysalis just laughed. “A cop dog and bunny rabbit? What’re you supposed to be? A dynamic duo?”

“Actually, mam.” Sam tilted his hat. “We’re freelance police.”

“And we’ve got a perfect number for you.” Said Max as he pulled out a record player and placed a record inside. “Here’s a little something called, Happy, happy, joy, joy.”

“Good choice, Max.” said Sam as they played it.

Suddenly, Sam and Max stood on both sides of Chrysalis, confusing her at the same time. Suddenly, the two of them did a funny sort of dance, then ended up smashing their booty’s against Chrysalis at the same time, making her grunt as she was being squished at the same time. Suddenly they trampled on her, then stamped on her like a four-legged animal.

Then they ended up doing the same routine at the same time, until they suddenly took out a large case, and pulled out two very large mallets, surprising her again. Then they ended up bashing her head with the mallets at the same time. This however surprised the Mane 6.

“Wow, surprisingly this is really entertaining.” Said Pinkie Pie.

“Boy I’ll say.” Said Applejack.

But after the many bashings they gave her, they suddenly blasted her away, making them crash against the wall.

“No one challenges Queen Chrysalis and lives!” Chrysalis laughed as she began to walk away. “Now to finish you bothersome mutants and ponies to complete my revenge!”

The group drew their weapons before a voice spoke up.

“We’re not dead yet, stupid Queen.”

She turned just as Max tackles her to the ground. Chrysalis kicked him off before Sam jumped on top of her.

“Dogpile!”

“Get off!” Chrysalis struggled to get up.

“Get on? Okay!” Max jumped on the pile making it difficult for Chrysalis.

“I’m warning you!!” threatened Chrysalis, “You’re making a big mistake underestimating a queen!!”

“Oh please!!!” said Max after he and Sam jumped off, “If I wanted to be threatened by the most horrifying thing known to man, I would’ve faced my aunt petunia and her so called number one dish casserole.”

This caused everyone to blink at that, even the villains.

“Oh, and speaking of which.” Said Sam whilst slowly looking at Chrysalis. “I heard you’re looking for some demise, rather than love. Well, here’s some demise for ya.”

“Do it Sam, do it like you’ve never done it before!!” said Max.

Sam then swallowed some water, cracked his neck, and took a breath mint. Then cleared his throat. Then took a big breath. And then…right in her face…

“YOU LOOK LIKE CELESTIA AFTER SHE EATS THE GRIEF AND MAKES OUT WITH DISCORD AND TIREK INEVADEBLY CHOOSING FLUTTERSHY!!!!”

This caused everyone in the room to gasp with eyes widen as Sam had just delivered the biggest burn he ever gave her. Even Chrysalis was shocked to hear that. This caused her gaze to give a death glare whilst she was gnashing her teeth and felt like she was going to explode.

“In your face, Chrysalis, Chrysalis, Chrysalis!!” said Max whilst doing the victory dance with Chrysalis getting even more angrier. “We’re sick of your screeching, you’re a big fat pain in the caboose!!!”

“I’ll kill you!!!” shouted Chrysalis as she attempted to pounce on Sam and Max, only for the two of them to twirl and dodge whilst wearing a couple of matador costumes.

“Ole!!” said Sam and Max with a rose in their mouths.

“Whoa.” Shine Boy blinked. “I never thought I’d hear Sam like that. Max, of course, but Sam? Not as such.”

“Remind me to call him in a Your mama fight.” Night Shine whispered.

“That's nothing,” said Max, “You should've seen him what he did to the octopus when it kept hitting him on his belly.”

Suddenly Maxed hear someone going, “Psst.”

He looked and saw a stranger around the corner. It was none other than Jacob. Curious, Max walked over whilst Jacob gave him a page.

“Do this.” Said Jacob, “Trust me.”

“Sure, thing mysterious person I’ve never seen before.” Said Max before taking the page and walking away.

He began to read through it. And after much reading.

“Oh no, it’s too gruesome!!” said Max, before popping his head up from the page and said, “But I’ll do it!!”

He placed the page away and whistled, causing everyone to be quiet.

“Oh, Chrysalis?” said Max in a sing-song tone. “I got a little something for ya!!”

Suddenly, Max began to act like a chicken and did the same chicken maneuver, which caused Chrysalis to get mad.

“Are you calling me a chicken?!!” shouted Chrysalis, “I’ll show you…!!”

When all of a sudden, Max did a few funny faces, and looked like he was going to explode. Then he was suddenly lifted up, causing everyone to gawk at what they saw.

For Max…had laid an egg.

He looked below and jumped off and looked at it.

“Well, that’s something you don’t see every day.” Said Max. Suddenly, the egg was busy hatching. “Oooh, it’s hatching.”

“I hope it’s a boy.” Said Sam as he stood next to it.

Suddenly, a duck popped out of it, causing it to quack in a playful tune.

“Aw, what a cute duck.” Said Fluttershy.

When all of a sudden, the duck’s voice began to change, causing it to grow, and grow, and grow, and grow, until it was as big as the tallest oak tree. This surprised everyone, whilst for some strange reason, the villains regrouped and saw the duck, whilst it instantly turned to them whilst quacking. Then it roared loudly like a lion.

“Boo!!” said the monster duck.

This caused the villains to scream in fright, causing all of them to run for their lives whilst the duck was chasing them around whilst making duck noises at the same time, with everyone watching at the same time.

The moment the villains were cornered, all of them looked back whilst the duck made duck made angry duck noises again. The moment it came into contact with them, the duck exploded like a suicide bomber, blowing up the entire wall and sent most of them flying away.

“I will have my revenge!!” shouted Chrysalis as she was flying to the side.

After that large explosion, everyone was staring at what happened in complete and utter shock. For none of them have any words for what all of them have witnessed at the same time. At the same time, Max walked over to the wall after he saw that explosion. He then turned to face the others.

“Well, how's that for a twist in climatic battles.” Said Max with a grin on his face.

Sam laughed and said, “You crack me up, little buddy.”

Night Shine leaned towards Shine Boy. “Still don’t regret bringing these two along?”

Shine Boy could only shrug. “Eh. They get the job done.”

Leo then raised his arm and said, “Okay, I think we can all agree and vote, that we will never, speak of this again.”

“Agreed.” Said everyone loudly at the same time.

Meanwhile, after that big explosion, Chrysalis crawled whilst injured whilst many of her comrades were unconscious at the same time.

“I’ll get them! I’ll get them all!” She sneered when suddenly she bumped into something and fell over. As she got up, she saw Goldar and Scorpina staring down at her, whilst Gladitron and his Emerald Guard took and teleported Fishface and the others away.

“What do you incompetents want?” She hissed.

“Problem in the work area, Queen?” Goldar growled.

“Problem? No! I got everything under control!” Chrysalis stated as she dusted herself off. She was taken aback by an explosion before Scorpina grabbed her by the neck.

“The Shredder requests your presence and he won’t take no for an answer.” The scorpion fighter stated.

“No!” Chrysalis struggled as Goldar and Scorpina teleported her out.

Meanwhile, at the same time, everyone had just regrouped outside of the so-called base.

“Glad to see all of you in one piece.” Said Wonder Woman.

“Indeed,” said Martian Manhunter, “When we heard all of you were kidnapped, we immediately rushed over.”

“I’m just glad we’re not prisoners anymore.” Said Joe.

“Yeah, and that none of them were able to make copies of us.” Said Gomamon.

“Still,” said Ben, “What are we going to do about the base?”

Suddenly, the base exploded, surprising half of them, with Night Shine saying, “About time the place blows up.”

“Still,” said Cody as he looked at Josh in regret, “Sorry we accused you of being a traitor, Josh.”

“Yeah,” said Yolei, until she felt something smack against her head, “Ow!!”

She looked and saw Night Shine had bonked her on the head, showing that he hadn’t forgotten and wanted to remind her, with said girl looking at him with a stink eye.

“It’s cool guys,” said Josh, “I don’t blame you for thinking that.”

“And just so you know,” said Princess Twilight, “You’re not the only ones who were tricked by Chrysalis.”

“Yeah, we speak from experience.” Said Rainbow Dash whilst feeling sheepish at the same time.

“So, what now?” Davis asked.

“We’ll let you guys grab your stuff and bring you all to the ship.” Superman explained. “Only, we’ll have someone escort you in case Shredder pulls another stunt like this.”

“A member of the Justice League will go with each of you while you all grab your stuff. Once you’re ready, we’ll bring you aboard.” Batman concluded.

“The rest of us will meet you there.” Leo added.

Shine Boy then spoke to his communicator. “Mr. Tennyson, we’re ready to come back up.”

“Good. We need you back up here.” Max spoke. “Roland’s awake.”

Everyone looked shock. Batman quickly turned to Superman. “You pick chaperones for the Digidestined! We’ll see you up there!”

“Right. Good luck!” Superman nodded before a majority of the group were teleported.

Moments after they returned, Shine Boy, Batman, and a handful of others quickly followed Grandpa Max.

“How long ago has he woke up?” Sunset asked.

“About five minutes ago. Constantine, and the other magic users are trying to contain him since!”

They watched through the looking glass to see Roland in his demon form throwing Etrigan off him.

“Oh, quarter notes.” Shine Boy muttered.

Suddenly a random guy popped up. “At this rate, they’re not gonna last! And without the gauntlet, we’re next! WERE DOOMED I TELL YOU! DOOMED!”

“HUDSON!” Sam and Max shouted.

As Hudson sat down, Grandpa Max face palmed. “I don’t remember hiring that guy.”

“Tennyson. Teleport. Now!!” said Batman.

Within mere moments, all of them had teleported to their destinations.

Within mere moments, everyone, minus the leaguers that volunteered to go with the Digidestined to get their things, arrived back at the ship. However, everyone onboard was going back and forth, especially the Plumbers and Crystal Gems running all over the place.

“He’s in corridor 4!! I repeat, he’s in corridor four!!” shouted on the Plumbers from the screen before he ran in panic whilst Roland was charging through the hall.

“Roland.” Muttered Venus in worry.

Get everyone out of here!” Leo ordered. “Head to the exit!”

“What about you?” Asked Tai.

“I’m ending this.” Leo stated before running back.

Hearing that made April sensed something. “He’s… he’s gonna get himself killed!”

“LEO!” Shine Boy cried. “I didn’t nominate you to help lead just to get yourself killed! I’m going back!”

“I’m going too!” Karai added.

Jason turned to the others. “We gotta go after Leo.”

“Wait! Jason!” Billy handed his Morpher to him while DE morphing. “Give him this.”

“Let’s move!” Venus cried as Shine Boy, Karai, Jason, Ben, and Sunset ran to find their friend.

Half of the Plumbers tried their best to lock down the ship, but Roland merely burst through the door and screeched. Though many of them fought Roland with their standard Plumber blaster, Roland kept bashing them through, whilst he screeched at the same time.

Whilst they were running and splitting up at the same time to cover more ground, the Shadowbolts, Mane 6, and Rainbooms, minus Sunset, were running down the hall, trying to find Roland. That was, until Flash, Microchips, Sandalwood, Lyra, Bonbon, Vinyl, and Octavia appeared, alongside Silverbolt and Invictus.

“What happened?!” said Flash as they were running.

“Roland got loose!!” said Applejack, “He’s tearin through the ship!!”

“We simply must find a way to stop him before he hurts anyone else!!” said Rarity.

Suddenly, a wall had burst just farther ahead, revealing Roland had bashed through the wall and instantly turned to them, shocking everyone.

“Oh, sweet Celestia.” Muttered Fluttershy and her pony counterpart at the same time.

Roland suddenly displayed his claws and screeched before charging towards them. Suddenly, he was tackled hard by Beast Boy in his rhino form, causing Roland to crash onto the other side and landed in Hanger 2. Thankfully it was empty and had a very large open space to fight.

“I got him, he’s in Hanger 2!!” shouted Beast Boy.

Suddenly, everyone shortly arrived and surrounded him.

“Constantine!!” shouted Batman, “Seal the rooms.”

Not being needed to be told twice, Constantine, Zatanna, Jason Blood, and Dr. Fate used their magic to seal the entire room to make sure that nothing breaks through, whilst also trying to buy some time at the same time.

“Take him down, and avoid those claws!!” shouted Superman as the League, Ben 10’s team, the Crystal Gems, Titans, and Static’s team attacked.

Leo was about to charge, until he felt someone grabbed him, which was none other than Shine Boy, and he was not happy.

Shine Boy angrily grabbed Leo. “When I said prove them wrong, I didn’t mean GET YOURSELF KILLED! You’re better than that! Now ACT LIKE THE LEADER YOU REALLY ARE!”

“Enough!”

Karai separated the two of them before things got worse.

“He’s right, Leo! Father chose you to lead us. But if you have to beat yourself up just because Obaki and Venus won’t shut up about how you and the others abandoned Mikey and everything else, then I might as well drown myself in the memory of serving the Shredder for the rest of my life! But not you! Lead us like you always have!”

“But…we…” muttered Leo before Sunset spoke next.

“Leo! Whatever happened in their time was stuff that happened because we acted differently in Those times. But we’re better then and we’re better now! We need you to lead us. Remember the path of honor!”

Leo thought about it and sighed, and said, “You’re right.”

“Leo!” Leo turned as Jason threw him Billy’s Morpher. “Maybe that will motivate you a bit.”

Leo grabbed it and nodded. He shouted, “Triceratops!!”

Causing him to morph and attacked with the others.

As Leo and the rest of the turtles fought, Jayden turned to his team and said, “We need to get the discs ready!!”

“Right!!” said the rest of the Samurai Rangers as they quickly got their discs ready.

Night Shine fought Roland with his fiery manchette, even using his dual abilities, but the two of them were evenly matched until Roland grabbed him by the leg and tossed him hard.

Leo, Jason, and Tommy did what they could to fight against Roland, but it was still an even fight. Then it was Shine Boy’s turn.

As he struggled, Shine Boy cried. “Roland! I know you’re in there! You’ve got to fight this! You’re not weak! You’re afraid! Remember what you’re fighting for! To prevent other worlds from falling to the Shredder!”

After taking a punch of Shine power, Roland scoffed. “Roland may hear you, but he cannot help you! He cannot escape his pain and nobody can save him, not even you!”

He lunged at Shine Boy when suddenly-

“Dnid eht nomed!” Zatanna cried causing chains to bind Roland no matter how hard he struggled.

“Roland!” The demon turned to see Shine Girl walking towards them.

“What the-? How did Kyla get in there?” Rainbow pointed out.

They turned to Venus who sighed. “She... insisted to help him”

Roland growled as he faced the heroine.

“I know you don't want to do this, Roland.” Shine Girl pleaded.

“You're wasting your words, woman. Roland is gone!” The demon growled.

Shine Girl still stood strong. “Okay. So what? I promised I'd help Roland. And I'm going to help you!”

Hearing that caused Roland to hold his head in struggling. “You saved me before, Kyla! Now run and save yourself! GO!”

He was about to lunge at her when Shine Boy blocked him.

“You. Won't Harm. HER!”

Roland threw Shine Boy to the ground and was about to stab him when a Kurisama chain wrapped around his arm. Roland looked back to see that holding the chain was Ronin.

“Ronin?” April gasped.

“When did he get in there?” Rainbow wondered.

“Whatever you’re planning, Shine Boy, Do it soon!” Ronin cried before Roland threw him across the room and face smacked against the wall, causing Fluttershy and Trixie to shriek.

“Too bad that didn’t kill me.” He grumbled as he slid down.

After Shine Boy got Shine Girl out of the way, Jason, and Tommy bursted into the room and fired lasers at Roland. Roland roared as he hit them to the wall.

“They need our help!” Rainbow stated. But was stopped by Venus.

“No! It’s still too dangerous!”

Kevin 11 grabbed Shine Boys CDA staff and got covered in Chrome Digizoid Armor and tackled Roland. But before he could punch him, Roland threw him off and he fell to the floor. It was enough for Jason and Tommy to get back up and fire their attacks again. The Samurai Rangers use their swords to attack Roland who recoiled. Ronin grabbed a certain electrical tonfa that Gamer recognized.

“That looks like the one I gave Serenity!” He blinked.

Ronin jumped on Roland’s back and shocked him with his tonfa. Kevin grabbed him as Shine Boy and Shine Girl fired their Shine Power alongside Jason and Tommy with Night Shine fired his dark attack.

“NOOOO!” Roland roared before firing blasts at everyone, causing them to fall.

“And they say teamwork gets the job done.” Constantine mumbled as he fell to the floor.

Jason and Tommy de-morphed as they hit the wall.

“Tommy!” Kimberly cried. She grabbed her Morpher and was about to barge in before Venus blocked her. “Move. Now.”

“No. It’s too dangerous!” Venus stated.

“I’ve had enough of this Roland’s demon garbage and watching him hurt our friends! Now MOVE!” Kim declared before Batman grabbed her shoulder.

“And what would you do that’s any different from what they’re doing?” He questioned her.

The pink Ranger sighed, knowing he was right. Then Applejack looked around.

“Where are Sam and Max?”

Roland growled as he was about to slash at Etrigan before he felt a bite on his leg. He looked down to see Max biting his leg. Roland kicked him off before Sam grabbed him and grabbed a bomb and stuffed it down his throat.

“Open wide!” He cried before letting him go and the bomb exploded. Only for Roland to shake it off and roared, with Sam saying, “Wow, and I thought Cerberus was crankier than the seven deadly sins before their morning coffee.”

Shine Boy struggled to get back up as he watched Roland batting everyone around. After he slammed Kevin onto Night Shine, The Samurai Rangers prepared their attacks.

“Everyone, get ready!!” said Jayden to his team.

“Right!!” said the rest of the Samurai Rangers.

“SPIN SWORD!!”

The Samurai Rangers pulled out their Samurai Spin swords and got them ready.

“POWER DISCS!!”

They then pulled out the discs from their buckles, the same discs that Jacob gave them. They placed them in position and activated it. Once it was at full power…

“DEMON CONTAINMENT!!”

They slashed their swords, causing the blades to go at Roland. The moment they hit him, Roland screeched in agony whilst he was being contained, not being able to move. This allowed Shine Boy to move towards Roland whilst he was holding the side of his ribcage.

“I refuse to fight you, Roland.” Said Shine Boy, “I was fighting you, because I didn’t understand why you treated my friends like they were unredeemable.”

He slowly reached for the sword Jacob gave him whilst he moved towards Roland.

“But now I get it.” Said Shine Boy, “I always thought you were mad because you couldn’t let bygones be bygones over things that happened years ago just because you lost your home.”

Shine Boy pulled the sword out. The moment it was, the runes and symbols began to glow cyan and aqua blue, much to everyone’s surprise as they’ve never seen it before.

“But now that I see what’s happening,” said Shine Boy, “And everything you told me, I realized that it wasn’t about them. You were just afraid. Afraid they’d be no different from the versions in your world because you were heartbroken. It’s scary to trust people who’ve done wrong. People who you considered your family and friends. Just because they failed to learn from experiences, our versions have succeeded.”

Shine Boy then held the sword with both his hands as he was nearly close to Roland.

“Any friend can forgive.” Said Shine Boy, “But a true friend always looks past repeated mistakes because they know their friends are trying to be better so that they don’t do it anymore. That is how friendship works. When one is weak, another is strong to pick them up when they’re down.”

Shine Boy was now close enough to Roland whilst the latter looked at him in rage.

“If that’s not good enough for you,” said Shine Boy as he stood in position, “I just want you to know that I understand. And that I’m sorry that I couldn’t keep my promise to help you. So…forgive me.”

Shine Boy screamed and jabbed his blade into Roland’s side where the burnt brand was, causing Roland to grunt in shock with widen eyes, whilst everyone was shocked by what Shine Boy had done, whilst the sword began to do its work. Roland’s demon eyes began to slowly flicker, for something was happening from within.

“Come back to us, Roland.” Said Shine boy, “Come back to us.”

Roland slowly closed his eyes shut whilst the pain continued to build whilst he was slowly bending over as the flickering went on faster and faster.

“COME BACK TO US!!”

And with great force, Roland leaned backwards as he screamed in pain, whilst an extremely thick black smoke began to fly out of his mouth and eyes, much to everyone’s shock by what’s happening. The smoke continued to pour out with great force whilst Roland’s head was in the air whilst he shook at the same time.

After a whole minute, the black smoke of a smog was completely out of his mouth, with Roland’s eyes looking white as he slowly closed it, with him returning to his human form. Within a split second, and after Shine Boy pulled out his sword, Roland collapsed onto the ground.

Everyone slowly gathered near Roland and saw he’s down for the count.

“Is…is he…?” asked Veemon as he was nervous.

Gabumon came over and sniffed him whilst Max also sniffed at him at the same time.

“Well, you two,” said Sam, “What’s the diagnose?”

“Well, he is alive, so that’s a good sign.” Said Gabumon.

“And the evil has literally been ripped out of him.” Said Max. Then he noticed something and widen his eyes. “Although…”

“What?” said Shine Boy.

“Are you sure the evil inside of him is gone?” asked Max.

“From what we’ve seen, yes.” Said Constantine.

“Then what is that?!” shouted Max in panic.

Everyone saw the evil smog that came out suddenly began to slowly morph into Roland’s darkness, much to their panic.

“You see that?!” shouted Hudson in a panic. “It’s still alive!! Now it’s gonna take form, and kill us all!! WE’RE DOOMED I TELL YA!!”

“HUDSON!!!” shouted not just Sam and Max, but everyone in the room and throughout the ship as they were all getting annoyed, despite his outbursts, causing the latter to sit down with his arms folded.

“What is up with that guy?!” said Yolei.

The demon slowly began to take form, fully restored, almost as if what Roland looked like in his demon form. The demon then turned to the heroes and screeched at them.

“Get ready!!” said Constantine as he was about to be ready, with some being ready and some being afraid.

The demon then charged forward.

When all of a sudden, it stopped. It grunted, and squirmed, it squealed, and it screeched in agony as if something had just taken hold of it. Then just as it turned to smoke, it turned into a fiery trail, causing it to go backwards and headed straight towards an orb that was placed in the middle of nowhere, which puzzled many.

Once the demon was in the orb, and had turned red, from out of nowhere, someone had appeared as he stood next to it. Then picked up the orb, revealing to be Lucifer.

“Bad boy.” Said Lucifer whilst staring at it, “But at least you’re contained and won’t cause harm.”

“Oh,” said Yolei as she suddenly felt smitten. “Who is that.”

However, the look from Constantine said otherwise, for he was shocked to see who it was, including Dr. Fate, Zatanna, and Etrigan.

“What are you doing here?!” shouted Constantine.

“Hey, relax man, the dude helped us contain the demon.” Said Ben.

“That’s no man.” Said Zatanna whilst keeping an eye on him.

“Looks like a man to me.” Said Veemon.

“But he is no mere mortal man,” said Etrigan, “For what you see before you, is an entity in human’s clothing.”

This confused everyone, as Constantine said, “Everyone, meet the fallen angel himself, Lucifer Morningstar.”

That’s when it clicked to Shine Boy, and remembered what Jacob had said.

“Wait, Lucifer.” Said Shine Boy in shock and pointed at him. “You mean as in…?!”

“The king of hell and the devil himself?” said Lucifer. “Oh yes, pleasure to meet all of you.”

This shocked and horrified everyone as half hid whilst the others stood their ground, even if some of them are shaky.

“What are you doing here, Lucifer.” Said Constantine.

“Oh, keep your nickers on, Johnny.” Said Lucifer playfully, “I only came for what I came for, which is this one.”

“Yeah, and why did you want it?!” said Raph.

“Because he’s one of my creations,” said Lucifer, “One of my own Knights of Hell, if you know what I mean.”

“Wait, they have Knights there?” said a confused Davis.

“That’s impossible.” Said Zatanna, “Everyone knows that Sparda, Artorias, Ornstein, Ciaran and Urxehl are your only Knights.”

“So is this one.” Said Lucifer. “See, long ago, I knew that most of my demons would sometimes escape.”

“Since when does Hell care about keeping demons there?” said Kevin, “I would’ve thought all of you would live for demons being on our world.”

“It might come as a shock to you, boy.” Said Lucifer, “But my domain also cares about balance. It’s how we do with it that’s important. At least that’s one thing my dad and I agreed on.”

This surprised them before Lucifer continued.

“Anyway,” said Lucifer, “I knew my Knights would not be up to snuff, so I created this one. My most potent and most powerful demon ever created. Able to handle them and keep them in line.”

He sighed and placed the orb away and said, “However, I did not expect one of my demon folks to go behind my back and take that power in order for someone to use it for their own selfish gains.”

That’s when it clicked to Applejack, and said, “What’s this got to do with Roland!!”

Lucifer then suddenly appeared next to Roland and said, “That’s the true question, isn’t it.”

This shocked everyone as they looked back as he had suddenly appeared right next to Roland. He stood on his one knee and took off a glove on Roland’s hand, and showed on his left hand, a cut.

“So?” said Static. That’s when it clicked. “No…you’re telling me.”

“Yep,” said Lucifer, “He went and made a deal with the demon.”

This shocked everyone minus a few who knew, until Lucifer appeared next to Constantine, and shocked everyone again.

“See, everyone knows that the moment you make a deal with the devil, there is a ten-year contract,” said Lucifer, “And because of it, they get what their greedy little heart desires. Wealth, power, that sort of thing. However,…”

He turned around and pointed at Roland, “His deal was a bit different.”

“Yeah, and why’s that?” said Gear.

Lucifer looked at them, and said, “He wanted to avenge his mother.”

This shocked everyone in the room.

“And he did the one thing no living being could do.” Said Lucifer, “He changed the deal.”

This shocked everyone again.

“And the deal was?” said Lucifer, “For every soul he kills, they get to keep their souls. Naturally we were going to be against it, but then again when it’s Cobra, the demons were interested to see where this was going.”

“Wait, Cobra?” said TK.

“Like snakes?” asked Kari.

“Not really,” said Venus, gaining the Digidestined’s attention, “Cobra happens to be a global terrorist organization, bent on ruling the world and resorts in terrorism. They have over millions under their command.”

“That’s right.” Said Lucifer, “And because of it, he has killed over millions, leaving only a hundred thousand of them left, reducing them to Cells, each only containing ten thousand each. And because of the deal, we ended up gaining millions of souls.”

This caused everyone to look in concern, even Superman.

“He took the deal, without a second thought?” said Superman.

“Well, that’s what happens when an eight-year-old by makes that contract after losing two special ladies in his life by that age.” Said Lucifer.

This shocks the Turtles, with Leo grabbing Lucifer’s shirt and said, “You mean one of your own made an eight-year-old child sign a contract?!”

“The demon who made him the deal did, actually.” Said Lucifer, “But then again children at that age can barely think when grief has overtaken their minds. Hence why they’re so easily to be manipulated and are more easily accepting of the more…greater evils.”

This horrifies everyone as some looked at the unconscious Roland. For what really did happen in his life that made him take that deal?

“But not to worry,” said Lucifer, “I can easily rip up the contract he’s made.”

“And why the blooming git would we trust you?” said Constantine.

“Keep your trench coat on, Constantine.”

Everyone turned and was surprised to see Jacob walking towards Lucifer and stood near him.

“Wait,” said Wally as he realized something, “You’re the one who called him here?”

“I did.” Said Jacob. “Two things. One, he owes me.”

“What?!” exclaimed everyone.

“What did you do that would make the devil himself owe you one?!” exclaimed Davis in shock.

“He,” began Lucifer, “Did the one thing that no one in their right mind would ever do.”

“And that being?” said Raph.

Suddenly, Lucifer’s expression softened and said, “He got me and my father to sit down in the same room and we were able to work things out.”

Now this, caught everyone off guard as they slowly looked at Jacob.

“I know how hard it is to be a father, and building everything around you.” Said Jacob. “So, I called the two of them together in order for them to talk things out.”

“Though we’re on different realms,” said Lucifer, “But we were able to apologize to one another. Though we’re on opposite sides, we still at least call one another once a month.”

Everyone was speechless as they didn’t know what to say.

“And speaking of the said demon who made that deal,” said Jacob, “He’s onboard on this ship somewhere.”

This shocked everyone. Until one of the Plumbers tried to sneak away. Jacob saw this and sniffed, causing him to unleash a chain with pure light, striking the Plumber as it screamed. When all of a sudden, it morphed into a demon, shocking everyone as they didn’t realize it. Jacob used the holy chains to snag him and pulled him, making him bow to Lucifer.

“Hello there, Mundus.” Said Jacob whilst squinting his eyes, “Long time no see.”

“Bah, you can go to…!!” said Mundus until he heard someone’s voice clearing. And to his shock, he saw Lucifer.

“Hello there, Void.” Said Lucifer whilst keeping his face neutral. “Long time no see. And still up to your old tricks, I see?”

“Sir,” said a nervous Mundus, “I don’t think you…”

“Oh, I know exactly what you’ve been doing.” Said Lucifer. “My daughter, Charlie Morningstar, called me and told me about you and the traitorous Angel Lute. She told me everything I needed to hear, as well as the trouble you two have been causing. When we specifically told you to make deals with mortals, and not individuals with supernatural and Multiversal powers. Namely the unconscious boy over there…”

He pointed at Roland who was still out.

“And to him.” Said Lucifer whilst pointing at Jacob.

Jacob showed him the cut, which shocked everyone as he also made a deal with a demon long ago.

“And after what Charlie last told me,” said Jacob, “Lute tried to assassinate me, thinking I was unworthy and disobeyed the Great Spirit, hence why he removed her Archangel status and banished her to Hell. Where Lillith and the others are enjoying torturing the Angel who went rogue.”

“Kids these days.” Said Lucifer with a smile on his face, “They definitely are the future of our lives.”

Lucifer then looked at Mundus sternly.

“Unfortunately, you don’t.” said Lucifer.

“But, sir. I…” said Mundus before being cut off.

“I only have one rule, and one rule only.” Said Lucifer, “I give an order. You follow it.”

“But technically, I didn’t…” said Mundus as he tried to justify himself.

“There’s a reason we don’t make our deals with Chosens, those affiliated, or have powers that can match theirs, little something called ‘consumer confidence’.” Said Lucifer. “This isn’t Wall Street, this is Hell. We have a little something called ‘Integrity’, and following the laws of balance. Cause this gets out, everything is in chaos and who then will deal with us? Nobody, then where are we?”

Mundus tried to come up with an answer, but couldn’t find it as he was afraid of Lucifer.

“I don’t know…” said Mundus.

“That’s right, you don’t know.” Said Lucifer, “Because you’re a stupid, short-sighted little prat. And that kind of short-sightedness, is exactly what costed Lute’s life. And when I’m through with you, you’re going to wish you stayed where you belonged. Until then…”

Lucifer snapped his fingers, causing Mundus to be instantly teleported.

Mikey the walked up and looked at Jacob’s scar. Then asked, “Why did you make the deal?”

“I was thirteen when I lost everything.” Said Jacob. “It seemed necessary at the time.”

“And what did your enemies do that was so bad?” asked Raph whilst crossing his arms.

That’s when Sunset said everything what he told her.

“He watched his entire team get slaughtered, trying to defend a city from an impending invasion.”

Everyone looked at Sunset as she went on.

“He watched his father get buried alive in a building, only for him to be fished out and killed on the spot. He watched helplessly as his mother was murdered right in front of him. He was too late to save his friends, kids like him that wanted to make a difference, as they were gutting on the floor. And the rest of his family, his uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, and so on.”

Sunset was quiet for a moment, but then gave the reveal.

“He watched helplessly as his entire family were beheaded and were placed on pikes whilst their bodies were placed on a pile and burnt like they were nothing but yesterday’s garbage. He was only thirteen.”

This revelation shocked and horrified everyone in the room.

“I wanted my enemies to pay for what they did.” Said Jacob. “They were known as the Death Knights. Ancient enemies of the Order. Whom we’ve been at war for a hundred thousand years throughout the entire Multiverse. They wiped out everyone I cared about on my world. So, when the demon offered me that deal, I just took it. I changed the deal so that for everyone I kill, they get to keep their souls.”

Jacob took a few steps away and looked up in the air.

“I destroyed over trillions in my wake.” Said Jacob, “I didn’t care who I had to hurt just to get back at the monsters for taking everything away from me. I even killed gods in my wake.”

He slowly looked at the heroes, “I even killed Zeus and his pantheon.”

This, took everyone by shock, minus a few.

“You lie,” said Wonder Woman, “The gods are the greatest beings in the universe.”

“In your universe.” Corrected Lucifer, gaining Wonder Woman’s attention. “But did you never bothered to know why Zeus is no longer powerful? Why he didn’t come to stop Ares?”

This puzzled Wonder Woman as she was surprised by this.

“As the old saying goes, we are linked to our Primes.” Said Lucifer. “And if you do not believe me.”

Lucifer then took out what appeared to be a vial, causing him to open it. A large mist was slowly covering the ground as many stepped back. When all of a sudden…

“It is time, my former pupil.” Said a voice, one that Wonder Woman recognized, “Look around and what you have done.”

They saw the mist forming around their feet. However, the mist formed a humanoid type body, revealing a tall human, wearing a royal robe whilst he gasped for air a bit as he stood wobbly on the ground, surprising them in the process.

“Zeus?” said wonder Woman surprised.

“That’s Zeus?” said Flash surprised.

“His Prime version, actually.” Said Lucifer.

They continued to stare until the pony Applejack pointed at the opposite direction of Zeus. “Um, girls?”

From the opposite was another, but instead, he was wielding two swords, resembling a lot to the ones that Roland was holding during his match with Jagwar, whilst looking straight at Zeus. But to their shock, when they took a closer look at the person, they see it was Jacob, but he looked eighteen, whilst appearing to be in partial flames.

But he was different. He was enraged, he was angry, and he looked slightly different. He looked at both his swords in anger, but at the same time, tossed both of them away as if they were nothing. Jacob charged in anger and screamed in rage as he tackled Zeus against a solid rock wall. When Jacob stood in position, he raised his fist in the air as his rage had no equal. He punched Zeus left right, down, up, southeast, then grabbed his head as he kneed against the humanoid’s head, whilst continuing to punch him.

Many were shocked when they saw Jacob mercilessly punching Zeus over and over again and again and again, for his rage had no bounds whatsoever. Jacob kept punching him until he was on the ground. But as he was on his knees, Jacob grabbed Zeus’ beard and continued to beat him mercilessly without a second thought. Mikey was puzzled and was busy recording it at the same time.

As the mist faded, everyone had a hard time reeling over. This person they see, defeated one of the most powerful Greek Gods known to man. Which meant what Lucifer and Jacob said was true.

“And in the end, as you can see,” said Lucifer, “He became known as the Specter of Earth Prime, who spread his vengeance all over the Multiverse. And in the end, they may have been scared of his enemy, the Death King, but they were terrified of him. Because everyone knows what happens when you hurt someone close to Jacob Drake.”

Everyone was shocked by what Jacob had revealed, until laughter could be heard, which was from none other than Night Shine.

“You…idiot.” Said Night Shine whilst chuckling.

However, undeterred, but not unnoticeable. Jacob slowly turned his head to Night Shine and looked at him. No one could see it, but Jacob was glaring strongly at Night Shine. Shine Boy noticed Jacob looking at his brother. Thinking that he was about to do something rash.

“Uh, sir?” said Shine Boy, wanting to say something.

Jacob suddenly raised his right hand, motioning Shine Boy not to say a word, and looked like he had this under control. Jacob lowered his arm and walked over to Night Shine. Once the latter stopped laughing, he noticed Jacob standing there and looking right at him.

“You speak about others for being a fool for embracing the power of darkness differently,” said Jacob, “Yet you chose to wield the power of Darkness without a second thought.”

Night Shine ended up flexing an eyebrow at that, but Jacob didn’t stop from there.

“A true warrior is supposed to have balance,” said Jacob, “But just because you never wanted to be your brother’s eternal rival, doesn’t mean you have to treat others like garbage.”

Everyone was puzzle by what he said.

“The Shine powers of Light and Darkness is supposed to belong to one being. An equalizer of sorts. But before it could happen, they were split in two, meaning only half of it.”

That’s when it clicked to Gamer. “Wait,” he began, “Are you telling me Luke never wanted the power of Darkness in the first place?”

“Of course, you ever thought the powers of Darkness could’ve gone to someone else?” said Jacob rhetorically, “It could’ve gone to Casey, or Karai, or just some kid with anger issues like Raph.”

He then looked at Shine Boy and said, “It was supposed to go to Shine Boy the same time he gained the power of light.”

Everyone was baffled by this, with Sweetie Belle saying, “Huh, guess that makes sense, Shine Boy being a hero and all.”

Jacob then turned his attention to Night Shine.

“And given from what I’ve seen,” said Jacob, “You’re no different than the enemies you fight. For your sense of freedom, honor, and compassion for others is as black as your fire and as pale as your skin.”

Suddenly, Night Shine’s fingers suddenly began to twitch, which Jacob caught on. But then focused back on him.

“Wait,” said Jacob whilst looking at him, “Is that why she left you? Is that why she didn’t want anything to do with you anymore? The one whom you have the necklace to?”

He leaned over and said, “The one of a heart that looks like it’s on fire?”

Shine Boy was shocked, as he knew whom Jacob was talking about.

“Her?” asked a confused Sunset.

“Don’t ask.” Said a nervous Shine Boy.

Night Shine instantly knew whom Jacob was talking about, whilst he was shocked on the inside.

“You leave her out of this!!” shouted Night Shine, which shocked everyone. For did Jacob actually struck a nerve?

“Why?” asked Jacob whilst keeping his focus. “You’re the one who hurt her and drove her away, not everyone in this room. Every one of them here constantly risk their necks out there, fighting for the greater good of others. Sure, they may have their flaws, but that’s why a team works together, to get past those flaws, learn to put it aside and work together. Whilst you…you just push them away like you did to her.”

Night Shine growled at him, as he didn’t like what he said.

“Now, I can lie. I can lie for a very, good reason.” Said Jacob. “But you? You’ve been lying to yourself a lot, thinking that you’re better. Fooling everyone just how weak you really are without your other half. The ones who truly made you for who you are. Maybe then your littlest brother wouldn’t be hurting so much.”

Night Shine gripped his hands as black fire was being produced from both sides, which concerned Team Shine and half the folks in the room.

“Wait,” said John whilst flexing his eyebrow from underneath his cloak, “Do both your parents know the kind of person you became ever since you wielded the power of Darkness? Do they know that you’ve been hurting those who actually try to be your friend? Do they know? Or what do you think they’re gonna do when they do find out?”

Night Shine growled as he was close into a great boiling point. “You leave them out of this.” He threatened.

“You know they’re gonna find out eventually,” said Jacob whilst keeping his arms crossed, “But then again I can do the same thing your brother Tony did before they find out you’re nothing but a cruel, lying piece of garbage.”

Jacob then squinted his eyes and said, “I can stall and buy a little more time.”

And that set Night Shine off, causing him to scream in rage, causing a shockwave to happen and push everyone back before he was silent for a split second.

“Whoa, what was that?” said Max.

“From the looks and sounds of it, something tells me we’re going to see a hothead character moment.” Said Sam.

“Ah, a classic.” Said Max as the two of them took out their popcorns and watched.

“So, it’s back to the holier than thou garbage.” Muttered Night Shine, then looked at Jacob angrily, “You think I wanted this? I know what goes on in this messed up world.”

Steam suddenly began to pour out of his body whilst he was talking.

“It’s a conspiracy and every one of these do gooders is in on it. Just cause you can spare a life; you think you’re better than I am!!”

Suddenly, Night Shine’s body began to burst into flames as he begins to shout.

“They’re all inferior!! Every villain and criminal are nothing but worms and parasites and someone has to put them in their place!! I like watching them squirm like the worms they are!! I can’t help it if I have to fight my own flesh and blood because of an old conflict since time began!!”

Everyone was shocked and worried of where this was going.

“Wait!!” shouted Superman as he wanted to stop this, but Shine Boy blocks him, knowing where this was going.

“Just my luck!!” screamed Night Shine as he punched Jacob, causing the fire to explode and leaving nothing but a thick smoke.

Night Shine breathed heavily after he had just unleashed a strong attack and everything was silent. However, he saw something that caused his eyes to widen.

For as the smoke cleared, there stood Jacob, completely unscathed, unburnt, and unharmed, as if nothing has happened to him.

This shocked everyone, but as shocked as Team Shine. “No way.” Muttered Shine Boy.

“Hmph, cute.” Said Jacob.

Within a split second, he grabbed Night Shine’s right hand using his left hand, surprising him. Jacob slowly twisted Night Shine’s arm whilst the latter growled, trying to get freed. Jacob slowly moved his face towards Night Shine.

“If you want to put an enemy down, make sure you put in much effort.” Said Jacob.

Jacob placed his right hand into Night Shine’s chest and drew something out. Making Night Shine scream in agony as if there was something wrong. Suddenly, Night Shine was struggling to stand, and his eyes were…normal?!

Then he saw that Jacob was holding something, which was none other than his power in a form of an orb, which shocked everyone in the room.

“Wha…how?!” exclaimed Gamer.

However, Jacob was too focused on Night Shine whilst showing his teeth.

“Both figurative,” said Jacob, “And literal.”

Within a split second, Jacob kneed Night Shine on the chin so hard, it would’ve broken his teeth whilst sending him crashing against the wall and landed on his butt. Leaving everyone surprised once again.

Jacob suddenly tapped his foot, causing him to catch Night Shine’s machete, and with one quick strike, struck the blade that was close to Night Shine’s face, leaving the said warrior surprised at the same time as Jacob stared at the guy, and could feel the glare at him.

Jacob stood on his knee, whilst the two of them looked at one another in the eye.

“Next time, don’t pick a fight you can’t win.” Said Jacob as he put Night Shine’s powers back inside of him, which made Night Shine gasp with his powers returning. “Alone, you’re formidable, but together, you’re unstoppable. And if you don’t overcome that.”

Jacob grabbed him by the throat and lifted him up in the air, with Night Shine struggling to break free.

“Otherwise,” said Jacob, “An even wiser opponent will put you down again, and again, and again, until you’re inside a tiny. Little. Tinderbox.”

With one swift motion, Jacob bashed his elbow against Night Shine’s face, knocking him out at the same time before collapsing onto the ground, hover, Jacob snapped his fingers, making him disappear.

“Don’t worry, he’s back in his room.” Said Jacob, “He’ll wake up. But with a little headache.”

“And something else.” Muttered Shine Girl.

Jacob turned to the others, as all of them were baffled by what just happened.

“Digidestined.” Said Jacob, which surprised Tai and the others. “Come forth.”

They were nervous at first, but they slowly approached him. As they stood near him, he turned around and faced them.

“You kids have a difficult task ahead of you,” said Jacob, “The enemies you’ll fight will be more difficult to face. Which means all of you will need every advantage you can get.”

“And how do we do that?” asked Matt.

Jacob couldn’t help but smirk, which made them a bit concerned of what he has in mind. Jacob lifted his right hand and snapped his fingers, causing the Digidestined’s left arms to glow, taking them by surprise. When they looked, they each had gauntlets, with their crest symbols.

“As all of you know how the Digivolve Evolution works,” said Jacob, “These ones will give your Digimon the boost they will need to overcome their adversaries and enemies, even the advantage you’ll need.”

“Fascinating.” Said Izzy as he looked at it.

“How strong are they?” asked Joe.

“Put it this way,” said Jacob with a smirk, “These make your original crests look like a simple battery charger.”

This surprised them in the room whilst looking at them.

“Amazing.” Said Cody.

“Will these really help us?” asked Ken.

“And each of you will be able to Digivolve your Digimon to mega levels without even breaking a sweat.” Said Jacob.

“Wow! He even color coated them!” Mimi awed that hers was pink.

“I knew you'd want yours your favorite color.” Jacob winked.

“Wait,” said Tai as he was curious and looked at him. “How do you know so much about all this?”

Jacob slowly leaned over and looked at Tai straight in the eyes. He then slowly smiled.

“Who do you think trained Gennai and created the Digital world?”

This greatly shocked the Digidestined and their partner Digimon, especially everyone else in the room.

“Are you serious?!” exclaimed Mikey.

“Not only that,” said Mike, gaining their attention, “He even trained Zordon and created the Morphing Grid.”

This again shocked everyone whilst they looked at him.

“Who…are you?” asked Leo.

“Now that would be telling.” Said Jacob with a smirk before standing back up. “Don’t worry, you’ll see me soon enough.”

Suddenly, Jacob looked at Ben, then to the Omnitrix, and he didn’t look happy, confusing the Omnitrix wielder, with Jacob taking a few steps forward. Suddenly Azmuth came in and was surprised to see Jacob, causing him to float over in his hovercraft to see what was going on.

“Omni,” said Jacob, “Delta 191.”

“Passcode, accepted,” said the Omnitrix, much to Ben’s surprise, “Release Omnitrix.”

The Omnitrix suddenly fell off of Ben’s wrist, causing Jacob to use his power to teleport it to his hand, much to their surprise. Suddenly, Jacob took out a yellow orb, then tossed it in, causing the Omnitrix to scatter and separate whilst it was nothing but parts whilst they were floating. This shocks everyone.

“What did you do?!” exclaimed Ben.

However, Jacob wasn’t paying attention whilst he looked at it. Then he saw something and took it. He then groaned loudly and looked at Azmuth.

“Seriously, Azmuth?!” said Jacob whilst pointing at the crystal. “You were using a Dwarf star alloy to power this thing?!”

“Wait, Dwarf Star Alloy?!!” said Kevin in shock.

“That’s what powers the Omnitrix?!” said Fugitoid in shock.

“It seemed like a good idea at the time.” Said Azmuth.

“You were supposed to find a power source that wasn’t supposed to have any bugs in it!!” said Jacob, “It’s no wonder the transformations only lasts ten minutes and take s a while to recharge!!”

“If it had been used for longer, it would’ve blown Ben Tennyson’s arm off.” Said Azmuth.

“Wait, what?!” exclaimed Ben as he was shocked to hear this, even his teammates.

Jacob sighed and said, “You know you could’ve told me if something was wrong.”

“You weren’t available.” Said Azmuth, “Besides, I’d like to see how you would power the most powerful device in our galaxy.”

Jacob suddenly smirked and dug in his side pouch in his belt. And pulled out what appeared to be a green like crystal. Which caused Azmuth to gasp in shock as he saw it.

“Is that…?” said Azmuth as he reached for it and looked at it whilst inspecting it.

“That’s right.” Said Jacob, “What you have there, is an Omnium Z Crystal.”

“Omnium Z?!!” exclaimed the space farers.

“A what now?” said Ben before Kevin and Fugitoid grabbed him.

“Don’t you know anything?!” said Kevin.

“Omnium Z happens to be one of the rarest and most powerful substance in the entire Universe, capable to power over a thousand planets for a thousand years!!” said Fugitoid.

This surprised everyone in the room.

“Which is why this baby is the ideal power source.” Said Jacob as he took it back.

“However, did you get your hands on it?” said Azmuth.

“Simple,” said Jacob, “I made it, same with Nova.”

This shocked everyone again, whilst Jacob placed it inside the Omnitrix pieces. Jacob deactivated it, causing the Omnitrix to be fully restored. However, Jacob pulled out what appeared to be an Omni-Tool and began to work on it.

“Whoa, an Omni-Tool.” Said Rook in surprise whilst they watched Jacob work on it.

After he was done, Jacob looked at the tool and then to Shine Boy. He then tossed it to Shine Boy, making him catch it, which surprised the latter.

“Little gift for Gamer.” Said Jacob, “That’ll make his day.”

Once Jacob was done, he handed it over to Ben, allowing him to put the Omnitrix back on.

“Now, turn into Swamp Fire.” Said Jacob, then smirked and said, “And do the name-thing again.”

This confused Ben, which Jacob gestured him to humor him. Ben shrugged and did what he asked, allowing Ben to turn into Swamp Fire.

“Swamp Fire!!” shouted Ben in his Swamp Fire alien form.

“Ugh, again with the name thing?” said Kevin in annoyance.

“Again?” said the others in confusion.

“Long story.” Said Gwen.

“Now then,” said Jacob whilst whispering, “Turn the Omnitrix Dial left and right, tap onto it, then shout Ultimate Swamp Fire.”

This again confused Swamp Fire, but he complied and did what he asked. The moment Ben tapped the Omnitrix hard, his current alien began to transform.

“Ultimate Swamp Fire!!” shouted Swamp Fire.

This shocked everyone as they saw Swamp Fire in his ultimate form, but not as shocked as Ben was.

“I added the Ultimate feature to it,” said Jacob, “Hence why I reconfigured the Omnitrix and added the Omnium Z crystal. With this bad boy, you won’t have to worry. At least until Azmuth one day replaces it, like you saw your future self-wielding when Paradox helped you out.”

Ben turned back to normal and said, “So it’s temporary. Got it. But also, why?”

“The battles ahead are going to be tougher.” Said Jacob, “So I figured you’d need an upgrade, including its armor mode.”

“My aliens are gonna have armor modes?!” said Ben in excitement.

“They are.” Said Jacob, “But remember, don’t get cocky with it in the future, or it will be your end. Got it?”

“Got it.” Said Ben. But then it clicked to him, and said, “Wait, you know Paradox?”

“You don’t think you’re the only hero he’s ever helped, did you?” said Jacob. “Plus, the Time war was sort of my fault, considering because of my enemies, and that Eon jumped the chance and joined them.”

“You know Eon?” said Ben.

“I do.” Said Jacob, “The Time Knights and Wraiths had apprehended him a while ago. And when I’m through with him, he’ll think twice. At least till you see him again when you turn thirty-six.”

Ben remembered his future self, arriving to help them stop Eon. Then Ben said, “What are you planning to do with him?”

“Make an example of him.” Said Jacob, “He knows better than to cross me.”

“Wait, one more thing.” Said Ben, “How do you know Azmuth, and about the Omnitrix.”

“Because, believe it or not,” said Azmuth, “I was once his student long ago.”

This shocked everyone, with Jacob saying, “And responsible for the Omnitrix.”

“What?!” exclaimed Ben and his friends. “But I thought Azmuth made it!!”

“He did,” said Jacob, then smirked, “But I was the one who designed it.”

Jacob then leaned forward and said, “And maybe you didn’t get the watch by mistake. Maybe…someone told Azmuth to bring the Omnitrix to your planet to give it to you.”

Ben thought about it, and then was greatly shocked and looked at Jacob, who kept his smirk. This in turn shocked everyone else too before Jacob stood back up and walked over to Azmuth.

“Oh, and Azmuth.” Said Jacob, gaining the Galvin’s attention. “About her? She did notice. She just didn’t have the courage to face you.”

This surprised the Galvin.

“She’s waiting for you.” Said Jacob, “Just say the word, and I’ll set it up.”

Jacob walked with a surprised Azmuth looking at him.

Jacob turned around and looked at Shine Boy.

“May the Great Spirit continue to guide you, Tony.” Said Jacob. He then turned to Lucifer, “Would you like me to give you a lift back?”

“Much appreciated.” Said Lucifer as he walked over to Jacob whilst holding his shoulder. “Oh, but first.”

Lucifer snapped his fingers, causing Roland’s contract to be canceled, and the scar on his hand disappearing, as if it had never happened.

“Now then, off we go.” Said Lucifer.

Jacob suddenly raised his right hand and shouted, “Chaos Control!!”

Within a split second, he disappeared without a trace, whilst everyone was stunned at the same time, not sure how to process this.

Suddenly, they heard a grunt, which came from Roland, struggling to move, except his arms.

“You see that!!” shouted Hudson in a panic, “He’s still alive, but he might still have his bloodlust!! We’re doomed I tell ya!!”

Hudson suddenly grunted, making him stand stiff, revealing to be Batman, who pinched the side of his neck, before falling hard onto the ground.

“Ooooh,” said Max, “Nice use of the Himalayan monkey pinch.”

“Remind me to ask our Karate instructor to include that in our next lesson.” said Sam.

Roland moved a bit backwards whilst trying to make it to the wall.

“Roland!!” said Sunset as she ran over and tried to help him sit, with Flash and Shine Boy helping him whilst everyone else was a bit cautious at the same time.

“Are you alright?” asked Flash.

“S…something’s different.” Said Roland whilst trying to focus. “My thoughts are…clear…calm…I feel somewhat…at peace.”

This confused everyone as they looked at one another. Martian Manhunter used his mind reading ability to see if what Roland said was true.

“He is right.” Said J’onn, “I do not detect any dark thoughts inside. It’s possible that once the demon was removed from his soul, most of its evil went with it.”

“So, he’s free of the darkness?” asked Agumon.

“Correct.” Said Martian.

Suddenly, Max pounced on Roland, startling those that were close to him.

“Oooh, pretty Emeralds.” Said Max.

“I think you’re mistaken there Max,” said Sam, “His eyes aren’t made of Emeralds, but is one hundred percent human.”

“His eyes maybe, but not the color of his eyes.” Said Max.

Once Max got out of the way, Roland was able to open his eyes and looked around. And to their surprise, Max was right…Roland’s eyes were no longer blue, but in Emerald Green. Yet somehow seeing those eyes one can’t help but feel calm for seeing them.

“Whoa, that’s a new one.” Said Mikey.

“Hmm, I’ll need to further examine him just to be sure there isn’t anything wrong.” Said Donnie.

“I’ll join.” Said Joe, “This is where my medical training comes to use.”

“I shall carry him.” Said Leatherhead.

“No, well take him, just in case.” Said Shine Boy.

Shine Boy struggled to help Roland stand. When all of a sudden, he nearly tripped, but thankfully, Shine Girl reacted fast enough and caught him, with Roland being able to stand. However, Roland looked at Shine Girl, which gained her attention as he looked directly into her eyes.

“Thank you, Kyla.” Muttered Roland as he was able to have a weak smile.

Shine Girl suddenly blushed, not just because of the eyes but because of his gesture and respect for her.

“Er…you’re welcome.” Said Shine Girl.

Shine Boy came along and helped Shine Girl carry Roland to the medical center, whilst everyone was surprised at the same time.

“So now that all of you are here,” said Black Canary, “Should we help them settle in?”

“I called ahead and had their rooms ready.” Said Grandpa Max, whilst then looked at the Samurai Rangers, “You’re also welcome to join us.”

“Of course we are,” said Antonio, “No way we’re going to let our friends do this alone.”

“I will also help ensure their training, as well as those who also join our fight.” Said Mentor.

“Very well,” said Grandpa Max, “Well get everything sorted for you in the meantime.”

Everyone went their separate ways, but the Samurai Rangers stuck together with Mentor. However, they saw Emily stopped and stood against the wall.

“What’s wrong Emily?” asked Mike as he and the others came over.

“I was just thinking about what Jacob said.” Said Emily. “I can’t help but feel bad for him. And trying to…get him back.”

“Still,” said Kevin as something was bugging him, “Why doesn’t he just outright tell everybody instead of keeping it a secret. I mean he did tell us.”

“You have to remember,” said Mentor, “Whenever Jacob tends to keep a secret, he does it for a reason. Sometimes it’s not very pleasant. And sometimes when it comes to fate, he cannot intervene, no matter how much he tried. He did once, but he couldn’t go through with it.”

“What did he exactly want to change fate?” asked Jayden.

“He wanted to go back and time and save his mother and entire family from being slaughtered.” Said Mentor, much to their surprise, “But he couldn’t go through with it, because he knew it’s not what they would’ve wanted. His mother died, so that he and his brothers could live. He had to live with the guilt, that he couldn’t save them. But it was thanks to his friends, and some closure, he was able to find the peace he was looking for.”

“So, what will we do about Roland?” asked Mia.

“We will just have to trust the will of fate to guide us now.” Said Mentor.

The others agreed and decided to keep it quiet before walking in another direction.

“So, Mentor,” said Antonion as he wanted to know something, “How well do you know Jacob?”

Mentor couldn’t help but chuckle and said, “Let me tell all of you about my time being trained under one of the greatest men, in the Multiverse.”

At the same time, Roland was slowly recovering in the medical bed. He woke up and slowly looked around. He realized he must’ve been out for a while. He sighed whilst resting his head on the bed. He figured that everyone would avoid him, considering they saw what he did. But whilst looking at a mirror close to him, he realized that Max was right, his eyes really did become Emerald Green.

“How the heck did that happen?” muttered Roland.

Then he looked to his left and saw a guitar, which made him flex his eyebrow. He picked it up and saw a note to the side.

“Figured you could use it to play some tunes. S&M.” read Roland, which surprised him as he never expected this from them.

At the same time, Team Shine, minus Gamer, and Night Shine in tow, headed to Roland to see how he was doing.

“You sure you’re okay?” asked Love Shine.

“I’m fine.” Muttered Night Shine.

“How do you think Roland’s doing?” asked Shine Girl.

“The doctors said he should be recovered by now.” Said Serenity.

Just as they were about to enter, they heard music playing. Curious, they slowly opened it and to their surprise, it was Roland playing guitar.

As he played, they were surprised to hear him play like that.

“I didn’t know he could play, guitar.” Said Serenity.

“Yeah, me neither.” Said Shine Boy.

After he was done playing, Roland set the guitar down and sighed a bit. As he sat in his medical bed, Roland noticed Shine Boy, Love Shine, Shine Girl, and Serenity enter the room with Night Shine next to the door. He was able to stand and walked up to the group. As Shine Boy looked at him with a stern look, Roland was afraid they were upset for him almost killing them and prepared to be lectured. But to his surprise, Shine Boy's face softened.

“Welcome back.... Roland.” he smiled.

Roland was so happy he was shedding tears as he hugged Shine Boy.

“I'm so sorry!” he whimpered. “I'm so sorry.”

Shine Boy patted his back. “It's alright. You're back now.”

“I....I saw everything. I-I couldn't control myself. I didn't mean to.... to... Almost kill you all. And... you would be afraid of what I became.”

Shine Boy took a deep breath as he let Serenity hug Roland next. “Well, in all honesty, I was afraid. We all were.”

“Of me?” Roland asked.

“No. Afraid that we lost you to the darkness. I really thought I couldn't keep my promise to you.”

“We all were.” Shine Girl admitted as she hugged next.

Roland looked over to Night Shine, who nodded, admitting he was afraid as well in secret.

“But.” Love Shine spoke. “We were healed by the Healing Hands and Steven Universe and now the demon should be gone now.”

“And we're still gonna help you no matter what.” Serenity stated.

Roland smiled as the four hugged him and he saw Night Shine smiling and thumbed up.

“Thank you. All of you.” he then noticed someone absent. “Where's Gamer?”

Everyone looked at each other in concern before Shine Boy sighed. “He tried to fix your gauntlet, but...”

“Joker planted a bomb blowing it up.” Night Shine finished.

“Is... he...?” Roland asked.

“He's okay.” Shine Girl nodded. “Diana told us he was clear after checking if he got infected by Joker Gas. So, he's okay.”

“Though he was a little sore from not being able to fix the gauntlet.” Love Shine sighed.

At the same time, once the others helped Roland back in bed, the doors opened again. This time, revealing to be Gamer, Sunset, Applejack, Rarity, and Rainbow Dash. The girls looked relieved that he was okay, whilst Gamer slightly felt a bit down and couldn’t meet his eyes, for he felt like he failed Roland, which he couldn’t blame him for trying to help.

“Roland.” Said Sunset as she and the girls went over, with Sunset hugging him first. “You’re okay.”

“Y’all gave us quite the scare there, Sugarcube.” Said Applejack whilst holding Roland’s shoulder.

“Sorry about that.” Said Roland. “I didn’t mean to make you worry.”

“What matters is, you no longer have to be afraid and your demon side has been completely removed.” Said Rarity.

“I just don’t know how.” Said Roland, “I tried in the past, but nothing I did was working.”

“Maybe you just didn’t have the right kind of help.” Said Rainbow Dash. “Still, shame you can’t use it for good, even if it did nearly kill us.”

“Rainbow Dash!!” scolded Applejack and Rarity.

“It’s cool.” Said Roland as he sighed. “But I’m afraid no one will ever look at me the same again, not after what they saw.”

“It’s never bothered us before.” Said Love Shine.

“He’s right.” Said Serenity, “We’ve all had our problems, but we always stick by then no matter what.”

“And we always pick them up whenever they fall.” Said Shine Girl.

Shine Boy then thought about something, and pulled out a box, revealing strange items inside that Roland hadn’t seen before.

“What’s all this?” asked Roland.

Shine Boy smiled. “Believe it or not, this was a gift from Ace. My Ace.” Roland showed interest as Shine Boy continued. “A couple months ago, my team, Serenity, along with the Ninjas and Rainbooms, threw me a surprise party for my birthday. The Rock n Beats had a gig that same day so, to not let them feel left out, the Rainbooms let them along with the CMCs threw a small party for me.” He then set down the mug and pulled out a box made of popsicle sticks and decor. “This was giver to me by Sweetheart. She was almost devastated because everyone else bought their gifts and she made this herself. I accepted her gift telling her that any gift, made or bought, is always wonderful when given from the heart.” He then opened the box as it played a soft melodious music. After a few moments, he closed the box again. “All the gifts I received from everyone are precious to me. Whenever I feel alone and distraught, I look to the gifts, knowing that my friends are with me in body or spirit.”

“Why are you telling me this?” Roland asked.

“Because I care about my friends. I know they’re not flawless. But They are my reason to fight.”

Shine Boy placed his hand on Roland’s shoulder and said, “Just like it’s my reason to fight and help you. I always keep my promise.”

Roland then lowered his eyes and was silent for a moment. Then said, “I once thought that way.”

Roland slowly took something out of his shirt that was around his neck and showed it to him. It was a pendant with the colors of a ladybug. Shine Boy remembered a while back during training…

During training, Roland was busy sparring with the others, until he was taken off guard and landed, causing something to land on the ground, which was the pendant of a ladybug. However, upon seeing it, Princess Twilight freaked out when she saw it.

“Ah, ladybug!!” exclaimed Princess Twilight as she was about to step on it.

Roland saw this and panicked. “NO!!”

With one swift motion, Roland punched Twilight so hard, he sent her flying to the wall and crashed it, shocking everyone.

“Twilight!!” exclaimed the others in a panic, went to check on her, and see that she has a black eye.

Shine Boy saw it, and just as he was about to scold Roland, when he saw him hold something, which was the pendant. He looked at it frantically and held it close to his chest.

“I’m sorry. I’m sorry.” Muttered Roland as he held onto it.

Shine Boy was surprised by this. Roland was very defensive over it, but didn’t ask why. For whatever it was, must’ve been important. So, he figured he’d save it for another time.

Out of curiosity, he opened it. It then revealed a picture inside, and was of an eight-year-old girl, with Roland and was about her age. Gamer, Shine Girl, Love Shine, Rainbow, Sunset, Rarity, and Applejack took a look at it.

“Who is this?” asked Shine Girl.

“Her name was Tanya.” Said Roland. “She was my very first friend after I escaped Shredder’s imprisonment.”

“Did…something happen?” asked Gamer.

They saw the look on his face, with Applejack saying, “Y’all don’t have to…”

“I’ll tell you.” Interrupted Roland. “And also…why my callsign was Duke.”

“Duke?” said Rainbow, “As in GI Joe Duke?”

“That’s right.” Said Roland.

He laid down against his pillow whilst looking up, remembering that day.

“It was such a long time ago.” Said Roland, “When my entire reality…shattered more than anyone can imagine.”

I was still trying to recover from what Shredder put me through. Even though it had been a year since I escaped, I chose to be distant from everybody, and was scared out of my mind…. all but one.

Roland was startled by who covered his eyes.

“Guess who?”

Normally I was scared out of my mind, but when I got a good look at her…she was a redheaded girl, who was the same age as I was…her name was Tanya. Though she came to me out of curiosity because she noticed I looked sad.

“Why the long face?” asked Tanya.

“I don’t wanna talk about it.” Said Roland.

Tanya sat next to him, with a curious look. Then she saw a mark on his waist and surprised her. She looked at him and asked, “You too?”

Roland looked at her curiously, with her pointing at the mark, which startled him. But then she showed the same mark she did, which shocked Roland.

“How…?” said Roland.

“I was captured too.” Said Tanya, “But then I was rescued by my dad, who was looking for me when he heard I was kidnapped.”

“What’s his name?” asked Roland.

“That’s him over there.” Said Tanya as she pointed ahead.

That’s when I saw Duke, as in from the GI Joes. I didn’t think much of it back then, but in my world he had a daughter after he chose to settle down for a bit before returning back to the Joes. I heard a lot of stories about him from my mom, considering she served under the same unit.

“Whoa, Duke?” said Roland in surprise, “I didn’t know your dad was Duke.”

“He is.” Said Tanya, “Although…I think you’d be better with a name like that.”

“Huh?” wondered Roland.

“Well, you look like a Duke.” Said Tanya.

“Pth, come on,” said Roland whilst rolling his eyes, “I don’t look like a Duke. No idea why they keep saying that.”

“Maybe you haven’t looked hard enough at the mirror.” Teased Tanya whilst gently shoving him, causing them to laugh.

I couldn’t explain it, but somehow, despite my hard shell, she found a way around it, I mean she got me to talk and everything. There was something about her…that was very different.

“Making friends already?”

They looked and saw Duke coming over with some ice cream. When he spotted Roland he also bought him one.

“Mhmm.” Said Tanya, “Daddy, this is…”

“Roland.” Said Duke, which surprised him, “Lady Jay’s kid. I know. I met him when he was only three. Glad to see you’re okay. Your mom said you were pretty quiet.”

“It’s…complicated.” Said Roland.

“I’ve been there.” Said Duke. “Anyway, as I know you’re name, in case you wonder, my name’s Duke. And the little girl you’re talking to is my daughter, Tanya.”

“Nice to meet you.” Said Roland.

“We were just about to go explore this place a bit, want in?” asked Duke.

“Uh…yeah sure.” Said Roland as he got up.

Turns out the place we were staying was at New Liberty. The place had been abandoned since the days of the Cold War when it was attacked by terrorists. But then they chose to rebuild it and made it a small town for veteran soldiers who were either retired or were discharged because of trauma and injuries. Many soldiers chose to call it home. My mom was discharged because of a trauma she went through. But Duke on the other hand wanted to raise a family, so he temporarily left. Though the Joes tend to keep an eye out every now and then.

But during that time, I got to know Tanya more. We did a lot of things together and having fun at the same time. The more we hung out, the more we grew close. We even marked a tree. She wrote Duke, and I thought it was her dad, but then she told me it was me/

“Wait, what?” said young Roland in confusion, “Why do you call me Duke?”

“Well, you look like a Duke.” Said Tanya.

“Do I really?” asked Roland.

“You bet your cute little tushy.” Said Tanya.

“Wait, cute little tushy?” said Rainbow in confusion, as did the others, which Roland blushed hard.

“Well, see…” said Roland before admitting, “During the time we spent together, I wanted to go swim in the lake near there, but I didn’t bring a towel or swimwear, so I stripped myself in the nude and went for a swim. But when I got back, I then saw her. She spotted me near the lake and saw me the whole time whilst I was undressing.”

Everyone was dead silent, causing everyone to laugh and snicker at the same time.

“Yeah, yeah, yeah, yuck it up.” Muttered Roland. “Anyway…”

I wanted to protest, but her dad laughed a lot and agreed that I looked like a Duke, which I stumped in defeat and accepted it. But then I wrote something on her that I wouldn’t let her down, which was Ladybug. Cause she was covered by them whilst she was at a flower field, and I onetime joked that she was a big Ladybug, which got Duke to laugh even harder.

After a whole year, the two of us turned eight, so I wanted to get her a gift as a way of saying thanks for what she did for me, especially when I grew…very fond of her. I then went to a store one day and bought her a pendant with the ladybug colors, considering those are her favorite colors. We went to a fair and got our picture taken.

Tanya noticed Roland looked nervous for some reason.

“Something wrong?” asked Tanya.

“I uh…wanted to give you this.” Said Roland as he gave her the pendant.

Tanya was surprised by this, causing her to slowly accept it. She opened it and saw a picture of the two of them at the fair together. She just kept staring at it before looking at Roland.

“Just…wanted to cherish the memories.” Said Roland as he blushed.

Things were silent for a moment, until he felt a kiss on his cheek, surprising him as he looked at her. With Tanya blushing whilst she placed the pendant around her neck.

“Thank you.” Said Tanya bashfully.

She extended his hand, allowing Roland to hold it, with the two of them walking together. Until an explosion went off, shocking them as they looked back. And they were horrified by what they saw.

But the peace didn’t last at New Liberty. For that’s when Cobra attacked and wanted to use the place as their base of operations. Many of the civilians fled to different locations or at bunkers at their own homes, whilst those, even if they were injured, chose to fight with what weapons they had. Though they put up a spirited fight, it didn’t last long.

Tanya and I kept running back and forth, trying to make her way to her dad’s house, but then we stopped…as we saw him fight against Cobra Commander.

“You may have bested me time and again, Duke,” said Cobra Commander, “But now it’s time that I show you your place once and for all.”

“Not gonna happen, Rex!!” shouted Duke as the two of them fought.

However, none of them noticed more Cobra forces coming in on the attack.

“What’ll we do?!!” said Tanya, worried about her dad.

That’s when Roland saw Cobra Commander’s transport.

“I have an idea, but we’ll need to work together.” Said Roland.

The two of them headed towards the tank and climbed inside. The two of them tried their best to get it to work, and thanks to that, because of it, we were able to drive many Cobra forces away.

Even though we were young, we were able to manage on our own. And even though we did good work by driving them away, what we didn’t know…was that Cobra Commander knocked out Duke.

“Once I’m finished with you, I will.” Said Cobra Commander, before he noticed someone was driving his vehicle. This didn’t sit well with him actually, especially since the Joes arrived to help the remaining soldiers drive them away. “You’ll rue for doing that!!”

Cobra then shot the tank with his own rocket launcher. The tank then fell over as it was damaged. Roland was the first to climb out, and he was disoriented.

“A child.” Said Cobra Commander, “I’ve been made a fool by a child?!”

He took out his pistol and slowly aimed at Roland, “I will finish you for this!!”

Tanya climbed out next and was conscious. However, she saw Cobra Commander pointing his pistol. When she looked, she saw Roland standing there, trying to stand up and be focused. She was shocked by what Cobra was going to do, causing her to run over to Roland.

“Die, you filthy child!!” shouted Cobra Commander.

“Roland!!”

Tanya pushed Roland out of the way, whilst a shot was going off at the same time. Roland landed and saw what happened to someone, making his eyes widen in horror.

“Tanya!!” exclaimed Roland.

“Hmph, I missed.” Said Cobra Commander, “I hate being distracted. No matter, this time I will finish you off!!”

Cobra Commander shot Roland, but suddenly, the shot bounced off of him, surprising Cobra Commander.

I barely remembered what happened. But from what Snake Eyes told me when he last saw me.

Roland slowly looked at Cobra Commander with rage in his eyes as his eyes suddenly sparkled with electricity.

“What the…?” muttered Cobra Commander.

Roland screamed in rage as he ran towards Cobra Commander. Before latter had any chance to defend himself, Roland punched Cobra Commander hard in the gut, then in the face from multiple sides, as well as a massive uppercut. Roland jumped after him and bashed him hard onto the ground. Then grabbed him by the leg and bashed him back and forth like he was nothing, then tossed him hard against a broken vehicle.

Roland kept punching Cobra Commander’s face over and over and over, again and again and again. Then delivered a very strong punch, breaking his helmet and faceplate in half as he crashed against the ground. Cobra was now groaning in pain, and could barely move. Then he saw Roland coming forth.

“No, wait, no more!!” said Cobra Commander as he begged for mercy.

“Agreed!! No more!!” shouted Roland, “No more fear. No more running. No more bullying. No more Cobra Commander.”

Roland raised his fists in the air and shouted with rage and fury, before smashing Cobra Commander so hard, a large shockwave was sent out, as well as a shattered ground.

Roland stood there, breathing hard and panting, whilst Cobra Commander laid there, lifeless. But then he slowly got out of his rage funk and realized something.

“Tanya.” Muttered Roland as he slowly looked back, “Tanya.”

He ran back to her, wanting to make sure if anyone was there to help her and if she was okay.

“Tanya. Tanya.”

He then ran past many GI Joe forces who were treating the wounded civilians and troops and running and shoving many others out of the way.

“Tanya!! Tanya!!!”

He then stopped and silently gasped. For up ahead, were Heavy Duty, Lifeline, Jinx, Snake Eyes, and Scarlet. Heavy Duty was holding a lifeless body of a little girl, whilst Lifeline tried to check for a pulse as Snake Eyes removed the pendant that Roland gave her. Snake Eyes spotted Roland, and could see that look. Snake Eyes shook his head, to indicate what he was trying to tell Roland.

Roland then shook his head in disbelief, his mouth quivering, as tears fell down his eyes from what he had witnessed.

She was the very first and only friend I ever had and the first and only girl I ever loved. I lost two special girls that day. Both her, and many hours later, my mother, when I wanted to seek comfort. And after I made the deal with the demon, I had a lot of rough years after that. And then…one day after I was done training with the League, the Joes were looking for me, and I was there about a month before the Friendship Games.

Roland was standing among the Joes at a secret location, namely General Hawk and Colton, with Lieutenant Stone among them, as well as the said Joes that were with Tanya when they tried to help her.

“Whoa,” said Roland whilst he looked around. “Nice place.”

“That’s nothing, you should see the Bahamas.” Said Tunnel Rat, causing Heavy Duty to hush him.

“Roland,” said Hawk, “From what we’ve seen, and because of the training you endured, you exhibited honorable traits from within the Joes, as well as brining all of Cobra to the brink of extinction, as only a handful of Cells remain. And as Joes, we can’t leave them to chance.”

“We understand this is a lot to take,” said Colton, “Though you’re young, you’re living proof of everything what we stood for. So, all we ask of you is this; will you join us and when the time comes, come to our aid to fight them when they surface.”

“I’ll do it.” Said Roland without giving a second thought.

“Just a word of warning,” said General Hawk, “There will be hardships along the way, even those that could be friends to this cause.”

“I already lost two friends that I loved.” Responded Roland calmy, but harshly.

The others nodded, knowing what he referred to.

“Now all you need is a callsign, and you will be accepted as one of our own.” Said General Colton.

Roland then closed his eyes, thinking of the good times he had with them, especially that one moment when Tanya wrote on the tree, the nickname he gave her, as well as Duke jesting about it. After some thinking, Roland made up his mind.

“I choose. Duke.” Said Roland.

Many knew he was saying it to honor the Duke they know, but they didn’t know the real reason or attachment why. So, they gave him that codename when they added his name to the database.

“And that’s how I got the name Duke.” Concluded Roland, “I’ll gladly carry that name with me for the rest of my life if I have to. It’s my way of being close to them.”

Team Shine, Sunset, Rarity, Applejack, and Rainbow were shocked by what they had heard. No wonder Roland kept his distance from everyone. Sunset was the first to react by walking up and hugging Roland.

“I’m so sorry.” She said fighting her tears. “She didn’t deserve that.”

“That Cobra Commander!” Rainbow gritted her teeth.

“I’m beginning to understand now, Roland.” Shine Boy said as patted his shoulder. “You distanced yourself from others because you didn’t want to lose anyone like you did to Tanya. But then we came to your life and…. History repeated itself.”

Roland looked at Shine Boy before hugging him tightly as he sobbed harder.

“It’s okay. Let it all out.” Shine Boy patted him.

Gamer secretly looked at a piece of brass from Roland’s now destroyed gauntlet and clenched his fist, concluding in his mind that this was why Roland had the demon inside of him.

However, unknown to them, the rest of the Rainbooms, the Mane 6, the Turtles and their human allies also overheard them, which shocked them all as some were teary eyed, as well as looked at one another at the same time and soon left.

After comforting him, Roland was able to dry his tears a bit and sighed.

“I’m sorry you had to go through all that.” Said Shine Girl.

Night Shine however, pondered something. He remembered how he showed Roland how everyone died, and thought of something.

“The Digidestined.”

They looked at Night Shine, as the latter looked at him. “You showed how Team Shine died. What of the Digidestined?”

“Luke,” said Applejack, “Now’s not the…”

“No, you lot deserve to know.” Said Roland.

“Are you sure?” asked Rarity.

Roland nodded to this. He took a breath and told them.

“In my timeline, instead of Tai having trust issues with Josh and Keramon, he actually welcomed him.”

“Huh, that doesn’t sound so bad.” Said Rainbow.

“It didn’t,” said Roland, “Until he got killed by Reapermon.”

This shocked the others as Rainbow said, “Okay I take it back.”

“Tai took it the hardest.” Said Roland, “But things were different and bad at the same time.”

The others wondered what he meant, until Roland continued.

“Because of the fact that Tai never grilled Josh because of his past experience with Diaboromon, the Digidestined never did that er, ninpo thing to reactivate their Crests and never got their upgrades to their Digivices, hence why Shredder beat them.”

Roland closed his eyes as the memory was still there.

“Matt and Ken were one of the first Digidestined to die, so they lost both Imperialdramon and Omnimon. TK sacrificed himself to let Kari escaped that day whilst Yolei died whilst the others escaped. But she actually died of a broken heart because of the loss of Ken.”

They were shocked by what he revealed.

“Whilst they were recuperating, Davis constantly coaxed Kari and the two got closer. She wanted to tell him that she originally chose TK, but never got the chance to tell him. She…died the same day Cody and Shine Girl died. I never had the heart to tell Davis what happened when that happened. And the day Gamer died when he tried to upload the info to Batman, Izzy was there when he and Tentomon also perished. Sora also died helping Tai escape the same day Shine Boy died. And before Venus, Obaki, and I escaped, Tai and Davis were the last ones to perish.”

They were shocked by the revelation, with Roland saying that, “And I know, it’s gonna be stupid, but once I recover I’m gonna have to tell Davis the thing between him and Kari is never going to happen. Because everyone knows that Light and Hope are compatible. And seeing that those two are the bearers. Well, those two are a match made in heaven.”

Just as they wanted to ask more questions, they noticed the tired state Roland was in. He was both physically and mentally exhausted, with the others helping him lie down as he was able to rest.

“Anyway, get some rest.” Shine Boy advised. “The sooner you get back on your feet, the sooner we can continue where we left off.”

“Okay.” Roland nodded.

Shine Girl helped him back into bed as the others headed out. As Roland got comfortable, Shine Girl looked a little distracted at first but shook it off and followed out.

Shine Boy on the other hand began to cringe as he felt the exhaustion kicked in. But then he looked back and had a worried look on his face, thinking about everyone else. For what happened today took a toll on him. Serenity noticed and helped Shine Boy to his room in order to help him relax.

In the medical room, just as Roland laid back down, he heard another voice.

“Roland.”

Roland looked up and saw Kari walking in.

“What’s up, Kari?” As she walked closer to him, Roland noticed that she looked a little spaced out and glowing a little. “No. Not Kari. You’re the embodiment of light speaking through her, aren’t you?”

“I am happy to see your instincts are still intact.” the embodiment smiled. “But more importantly, I’m happy to see the darkness that clouded your heart is no more.”

“Glad to be back.” Roland smiled before he sighed. “But I still got a little ways to go to regain everyone’s trust.”

“True, but those who are still willing to help you are a start.” The embodiment then frowned. “And the sooner the better because I came to warn you.”

“Warn me? About what?”

“There is a traitor among you.”

Roland sprung up. “Who?”

“I’m afraid I know not.” The embodiment helped him back down. “The Shredder’s ever-growing army and your demon side were so great that I cannot find who the traitor is. All I can do is warn you.”

“I understand.” Said Roland. “So, what can be done in the meantime?”

“Keep yourself alert.” Said the embodiment, “For you’re going to need it.”

Roland nodded to that. However, he then thought about something. Then he looked at her and asked, “Can Kari still hear any of this?”

“She can,” said the embodiment, “I asked if I could speak to you and she allowed me.”

“Then can you pass me a message?” asked Roland.

She was confused at first, but nodded. Roland then held Kari’s hand, which gained her attention.

“Keep that love of yours strong Kari,” said Roland, “I know you’re scared that others won’t accept you and TK. But…you also need to know. In my world, TK perished when he sacrificed himself. You wanted to confess, but you never got the chance. But you don’t have to be afraid of those feelings. Just…give it a chance. There’s a reason Light and Hope are compatible. Everyone else may have their elements, but you two bring hope and light to many others around you.”

He leaned to her and said, “What I’m trying to say is; you may be light, and he may be hope, but you’re the light that helps guide him back, and he gives you hope when everything seems hopeless. Don’t ever lose sight of that Kari. But more importantly…”

He leaned close to her ear and suddenly spoke in a different voice, the same voice that Delta had head.

“May your heart be your guiding key.” Whispered Roland.

Kari could hear as she suddenly felt her heart skipping. The embodiment smiled and said, “Very well, I’ll make sure she gets it.”

“Thank you.” Said Roland. “I’ll see you again soon.”

The embodiment left Roland whilst he was left to recover in the medical room. However, as Kari was a few rooms away, she suddenly regained her senses. She grasped her hand and placed it against her chest.

“May my heart be my guiding key.” Said Kari to herself. She looked ahead, and knew what she had to do.

She soon stopped by TK’s room and knocked. He opened it and he was surprised to see her.

“Oh, hey Kari,” said TK, “What’s…?”

Suddenly, Kari placed her lips against his, much to his surprise. When she broke the kiss, the two of them were blushing and looking at one another.

“Can we talk?” asked Kari.

TK nodded, allowing her to go inside as the door was closed behind them.

Chrysalis was suddenly tossed against the wall. Hard.

She grunted and landed hard onto the ground. She was badly wounded and slowly looked up, with Shredder looming over her as many others were watching.

“I had warned you what would happen if you dare fail me, Chrysalis.” Said Shredder.

“You do not scare me!!” shouted Chrysalis as she slowly stood up whilst extending her wings and her horn glowing. “I am Queen of the Changelings!! I who defeated many foes and took over Equestria Twice!! And I will not…!!”

Suddenly Shredder displayed his claws, and within a split second, sliced off both of Chrysalis’ horn, and wings, taking her by shock as she collapsed.

Dark Mikey laughed and egged, “Not so superior now, are you?!!”

Before she could do anything, Shredder grabbed her by the throat and pinned her against the wall.

“You have been a loose cannon for far too long, Chrysalis.” Said Shredder whilst squinting his eyes. Then he slowly lifted something up, which shocked Chrysalis. “It’s time to put you in your place.”

The something, was the worm. The same worm that controlled Sombra, causing Chrysalis to scream in agony and pain as she tried to resist it, but was stronger.

“About time someone shut her up.” Said Tirek.

“Indeed.” Said Goldar as he agreed.

Meanwhile, in the Command center, Grandpa Max, Shine Boy, and Batman were going over a few things, whilst one of the Leaguers, Aztec was reporting in.

“What’s the status?” asked Batman.

“We were able to gather the Digidestined’s belongings and escorted them here safely. We’re getting them settled onto their bunks now.” Said Aztec.

“Good work, keep us posted in the meantime, Command out.” Said Grandpa Max before signing off.

“Off to a good start.” Muttered Shine Boy.

Max then spoke. “You did very well, Shine Boy.”

“I hardly did anything. It was Venus, Sunset, and Leo who accomplished the mission.”

“Nominating Leonardo to help boost his confidence as leadership was your idea.” Batman pointed out. “Despite him almost sacrificing himself, he got more confident again.”

Shine Boy tried to listen, but he was thinking about Roland. He still had to help him to prove he could be friends with others demon or not. Then, how long until Obaki puts everyone down again. And how long can he keep their hopes alive. And then, there’s Night Shine grilling others like April.

“Shine Boy!”

Shine Boy snapped out of his thoughts to see Batman looking at him. “Hmm? Sorry. What you say? After Leo regaining confidence?”

“I said bringing Sam and Max really helped out as well, so you deserve some credit.” Said Batman.

“Oh, right.” Said Shine Boy.

However, Batman leaned closer to Shine Boy’s face when he realized he wasn’t focused. “You’re thinking about Roland again, aren’t you?”

“And Obaki.” Shine Boy sighed. “How long until he puts everyone down again? And Roland…Now that the demon side is removed from him, it’s going to be a while before everyone can be near him again.”

“Leave Obaki to us.” Said Batman, “You focus on helping Roland settle in.”

“And don’t worry,” said Grandpa Max, “Everyone understood the deal he made with the demon when he was very vulnerable. Something a child should never go through. But in time, they’ll see that.”

He handed a paper to Shine Boy and said, “Here’s Tonight’s worksheet.”

You focus on helping Roland accepting everyone.” Max said before handing him a paper. “Here’s tonight’s worksheet.”

“Thank you.” Shine Boy accepted it. “I’ll get started on it.”

“Aren’t you gonna join the others in the lounge?” Batman asked.

Shine Boy took a deep breath. “Ask me again when we’ve stopped Shredder for good.”

After he left, Batman turned to Max. “He’s feeling overwhelmed.”

“Agreed.” Max pondered. “Usually, he likes hanging out with his friends. His brother told me that sometimes he takes thing too literal.”

“We better keep an eye on him.” Batman stated. “If it’s he’s not gonna worry about Serenity, it’ll be the other way around with her worrying about him.”

Meanwhile, Mikey was at the computers typing away. Though many would think he’s causing trouble. In truth he saw something that felt off earlier when he saw Jacob beating Zeus up. But after much typing, he stopped and looked. Slowly, he was shocked by what he was seeing. Mikey then picked up his T-Phone and called the others.

“Guys!!” said Mikey, “You’d better get in here, pronto!!”

Soon enough, the Mane 6, Turtles, Rainbooms, Team Shine, Teen Titans, Rangers, and a few other groups came.

“What’s this all about Mikey?” said Donnie.

“Trying to show something stupid again?” said Raph.

“Just pay attention!!” said Mikey in a sort of panic whilst he typed away.

“Uh, is he typing on a computer and not even worried about setting things off?” said Gwen in worry.

“I don’t think he cares.” Said Kevin.

“Alright, take a look!!” said Mikey. “This is Roland beating up Gladitron when we were at the prime world, right?!”

They saw the footage of Roland fighting Gladitron whilst he was in his Warrior’s rage mode and beat him whilst Gladitron was at his knees.

“What of…?” said Casey before being cut off.

“And there’s Jacob beating up Zeus, right?” said Mikey.

They saw the recording he made of Jacob beating up Zeus, whilst also what appeared to be in Warrior’s rage mode and punched Zeus whilst on his knees.

“Wait, how did…?” said April before being cut off as well.

“Now watch carefully!!” said Mikey.

Mikey put the footage side by side, and showed in perfect sync of both Roland and Jacob beating up their opponents. But then he paused where both their fists were in the air whilst their faces were showing their signs of rage.

“See?!” said Mikey as he pointed at the footage.

Whilst looking, everyone sees the exact facial pattern Roland and Jacob were doing. They also saw the moves, the power, even the same amount of rage. As they looked back and forth, slowly all of them had caught on what Mikey was trying to say as they could see something.

“You don’t think…?” said Leo in shock as everyone looked at the two.

Are Roland and Jacob the same? If so…what could this mean?

Meanwhile, in Roland’s room, the latter was fast asleep. After everything that happened, he felt like he could sleep for a week. But during the slumber…

“Hello?”

Roland’s facial expression changed, as if he felt someone was calling him.

“Hello? Where am I? Who are you? Please…help me. Release me. I…need to go home. I need…to be with my family. I need…my father.”

And thus, Roland has been saved, but now a few evil Digimon have sided with the Shredder. Who else will the Shredder recruit to their cause, and who will join the heroes’ roster to save the Multiverse? Stay tuned next time.
