First Strike Tirek

•Place: Everfree Forest. Location: Castle of the two sisters•

The moon was high, and the night was calm. The animals of the forest seemed odd they seemed to have disappeared, strange, but welcome, making the trip go faster.
Twilight, her friends, and Discord made their way to the castle of the two sisters sent by the princesses themselves sometime after the Tirek attack to retrieve a very old friend of the princesses.
Twilight thought back to the conversation with the princesses after finding them in Tirek’s grasp.

•Several hours earlier: Canterlot Castle•

•Twilight P.O.V•

“Princess Celestia, Princess Luna what’s happening." I shouted to them as they were being taken away in bubbles after hearing the loud laughter of Tirek in the background of cantorlot.

“It is Tirek he has come to try to usurp the throne, and take all the magic from equestria’s subjects Twilight go to the old castle in the Everfree, and in it’s depths lies a warrior of old, they are powerful friend, and are the only one capable of stopping Tirek."
Celestia spoke to me with great urgency in her voice, through the bubble she was in. She was pulled through the ceiling, and disappearing from view.

“Yes it is up to thou, and thy friends to save equestria. Stop Tirek bring the king to Tirek then, and only, then shalt peace be restored find the key on the throne of bones, and you will find the way to the eternal prisoner remove that which binds him to his prison, and say his name three times."
Luna shouted down to me, then disappeared along with her sister I tried to ask his name, but she was gone before I could open my mouth.

•Present•

Discord walked in the back comforting fluttershy as we walked through the forest looking for the castle of the two sisters for some being they talked about.

“So Twilight what was it the princesses told you?" The southern accent in Applejack’s voice snapped me from my thoughts.

“Yeah Twilight, why are we going back to the old castle when we should be fighting Tirek."
Rainbow dash floated lazily next to her, as she walked.

“I don’t remember it exactly, but if I can recall Princess Celestia said go to the old castle, and find a friend, that they are very powerful, then Princess Luna said bring them to Tirek, that the way to find it is to find the Throne of bones, and there lies the key that will lead us to the eternal prisoner, then say his name three times."
I looked up in the air with a hand on my chin recalling the event.

“I wonder what they meant darling." Rarity walked behind the other three watching her step since she was wearing her good heels expecting a party not a hike.

“I wonder if the Throne of bones they mentioned is in that crack in the floor between the princess’ original thrones."
Pinkie bounced away, as they continued their journey.

I turned, and looked at Pinkie with an inquisitive look before speaking.
“What do you mean Pinkie."

Pinkie bounced in front of me, as she spoke.
“Well when we went to see if the legend of Nightmare Moon was true there was a crack in between the two thrones, where the Elements Of Harmony were it was just wide enough that I saw something in it before hitting her with the elements."

I looked at pinkie, then thought more questions were needed.
“Did you happen to get a good look at what you saw?"

“Nope though my Pinkie sense went bananas whatever it was."
She continued to bounce as she walked in front of me.

I thought to myself as she rambled more about her Pinkie, and wondered if what Pinkie saw could that be what Princess Luna was talking about. Then I was interrupted by Fluttershy announcing our arrival to the castle it had looked the same as when we first arrived, but the air around it felt darker than usual.

“Uh T-t-twilight we’re here."
She hid behind her mane as usual, I looked up to the crumbling castle discord, stood behind fluttershy patting her shoulder, and I sighed.

I gathered the others up around me, and described the plan.
“Ok girls listen up Pinkie I need you to show us where that crack you saw was, then we’ll figure it out from there."

Pinkie gave a mock salute, before replying, “Okie dokie lokie” and pulling out a strange looking detectives hat, a magnifying glass, and a smoking pipe from nowhere.

I put it off as Pinkie being Pinkie, but Discord on the other hand seemed off the moment we got to the castle he seemed curious if not nervous.
Me, and the others followed Pinkie, but I hung back to talk to discord.

•Sherlock Holmes home•
Sherlock scampered around searching every nook, and cranny for his favorite hat, and pipe. His good friend Dr. Watson walked in, and watched him going mad looking for them.
"Lose something Holmes?"

“Yes Watson have you seen my hat, and pipe”?
Sherlock stopped dead in his tracks, and started scratching his head confused as he tried retracing his steps.
“I could have sworn I put it on my desk."

Watson shook his head, and looked at his watch he looked at the time, then walked over to grab the detective by the collar.
Perhaps you left it in the carriage again Holmes."

“Right you are Watson let us go have a look."

•Back to the program•

“Discord are you alright?" I asked as I looked at his face. The curiosity on his face made me more dedicated to see what he knows.

“I am fine twilight just curious I can feel Chaos here, but not like mine."
He looked up at the castle with a inquisitive look.
I tilted my head at his words, but was still
Interested.
“Discord what do you think is in there?"

He shifted, and put a hand on his chin while sitting on his tail he continued to walk using the end of his tail as he remained in the position.
“That’s what I would like to know you said the princesses said there was a warrior here?"

I shook my head wondering what he could be possibly thinking about.
“Yes they did do you that Chaos you’re feeling has something to do with who they were talking about?"

He thought for a second more before snapping his fingers in realization.
“Oh I remember now they must mean him that’s strange I would have thought they would have banished him, to tartarus."

I shook my head more confused than before.
“What are you talking about Discord?"

He tapped the side of his head a audible sound of gears turning in it.
“That’s right you weren’t around. Well before I took over equestria, and was turned to stone there was another immortal, the only thing was his immortality wasn’t natural”.

I listened to his words as he spoke of this other being the thought of some other creature of another dimension on our world was so exciting.
“He was a from another world I summoned to help me overthrow the princesses I of course succeeded, but there was a problem he never appeared of course I assumed it didn’t work, so I tried again this time I saw what I summoned it was a being from the same world, as the first one I summoned.
They were monsters, and not just any monsters demons, and of course we overthrew the princesses, but the other one turned, and tried to overthrow me I cast it out into the city time passed, and the fateful day came Luna, and Celestia overthrew me, but there is something they never said in the stories they had help."

"But why would you summon monsters like Umbra did, and how did you not know what they were?"
I looked up at him as to why he was surprised at the two given it would be obvious they were demons just by looks.

"No Twilight you misunderstand these aren't demons like what Umbra became, or has dealt with these are much worse, and from somewhere even more terrible than tartarus if I recall I believe one of them said the place they were from was Hell the place of eternal torment for those who sinned?"
I listened in both awe, and shock at his words, he summoned a demon, and not just any, but one from a place far worse than tartarus I listened to him as did the others as he told us what happened unknown to anypony. I was going to be answered soon enough. He told his tale, and we all listened to every word that he spoke.

Discord sat on his tail floating along as he told us the story behind the battle of the two sisters, and Discord.
"If I can remember correctly, and I'm sure I do as I can recall just a few days before I took over equestria i knew i couldn't take down the princess's myself, so I got help but first attempt didn't go well given I wasn't in my strongest state, but after a redo I finally got one. It leaked chaos so much I could feel myself being empowered by it by the second. I thought this would be great now I have easy slave that once I'm done with them I could just dispose of them instead plans changed dramatically. To say the least when he tried to turn on me after I allowed him to summon an army of his own kind. He tried to betray me Discord of all creatures, I of course put an end to that pretty quickly, but that didn't save me from the beating I was going to receive.
We all continued to walk, and listen to the tale not knowing the truth that lied beneath the ruins floor. None of us knew the true evil of which were about to unleash not just on our enemies, but ourselves, and the world.

The nameless castle

In the depths of the nameless castle stood a set of large doors behind those doors laid a secret a thousand years old, and stronger than the one who trapped it there. In it rested a soul that awaited the day it will go home to where it's heart awaits. It stands waiting for the day that it can walk the earth again, and bring a reckoning that will shake the worlds people to their core.
