Trials of Sarah: Make Your Mark

The next morning, the ponies woke up together and Sarah and her family had prepared breakfast for them all, but Sarah, Doug and Deliahs' magic was flickering and they still appeared weak. Zipp came over and supported Sarah a little, "Thanks Zipp."

"Don't worry, I got you." Zipp promised earning a smile from Sarah.

Ryu and Tamu and put the eggs and their nests in a large wagon for Sarah to take to the festival and keep an eye on them. Sarah told her family about finding them and the odd star in the ground, stirring confusion in them as well, but they agreed to help watch over the little eggs until they hatch.

Heading out to the town, Izzy stopped Sunny for a moment, "Sunny, Sunny, I have a present for you. Pipp and Nikki helped me." Izzy levitated a present over to Sunny.

"We don't usually exchange gifts."

"I know, I know but open it."

Sunny grabbed the present and opened it up and she gasped in awe, "I-Its the lantern my dad made me....I thought this was beyond repair...." she breathed at the repaired lantern having a large tub of light in the center and a handle on it. "Thank you."

Izzy giggled and the two mares shared a hug together.

At Maretime Bay, the festival was in full swing with ponies from all kinds, pokemon and dragons were present along with Queen Haven and her guards, Thunder and Zoom, but things weren't really going as planned as Posey and a few earth ponies disliked the new decorations, at the sand castle contest a pegasus won and Posey accused her of cheating and having an unfair advantage making the storm above worse.

At the ice cream stand, ponies didn't really like the moss ice cream and the other different treats, creating the storm to gain strong winds, pegasus and lose their flight and earth ponies to get stuck on the sidewalk for a moment and Sarah and her birth parents nearly fainted again if Ryu and Sefu didn't catch them.

"The loss of magic...! It's getting worse cause of the ponies hostility!" Zipp fretted.

Finally, everything came to a head when Pipp tried to sing the Maretime Bay Day anthem but one Earth Pony shouted, "We want the old Maretime Bay Day song! Sung by an Earth Pony!" This stirred the crowd in more hostility and distrust of each other once again, making the storm into a huge hurricane with a mixture of Ice, Snow and lightning flashing all around and finally Sarah and her birth parents eyes turned completely gray and they collapsed on the ground.

"Sarah!" Zipp and Pipp gawked before an evil laugh and neighing was heard and up in the skies mythical creatures appeared which beared a resemblance to horses but are ghostly and translucent in appearance and have no lower body.

"What are those things?!" Posey gawked.

"No! Their Windigos! Evil Winter spirits who feed off fighting and hatred to create and endless winter!" Ryu gawked in horror.

"Why are they here!"

"The unicorns probably made them!"

"The pegasi brought them here!"

"No we didn't!"

"That's not true!"

"ENOUGH!" Zipp yelled at the top of her lungs, fed up with everything. "EVERYPONY IS HERE IS TO BLAME FOR THE WINDIGOS BEING HERE! ALL OF YOUR HOSILITIY AND HATRED FOR EACH OTHER COMING BACK HAS BROUGHT THEM HERE AND CAUSED SARAH AND HER BIRTH PARENTS TO LOSE THEIR MAGIC COMPLETELY!"

"Right you are, Zipp...." a familiar voice came before appeared the foggy spirit of Scarlet Nightmare to the horror of the ponies, pokemon and dragons! "And thanks to you ponies again, I shall return and wipe out the little royal family once and for all! Hahaha!"

"I won't let you! Scarlet Nightmare! I won't let you ruin another family again!" Zipp snarled at the spirit before charging her but one Windigo rammed her into the railing.

"Zipp!" Ryu gawked in horror as Scarlet Nightmare laughed again as the Windigos made the storm worse by the second.

"Come on, Sarah! Get up! The magic, its dying!" Sunny shook Sarah who weakly opened her eyes and staggered to her feet despite her weakened body.

"Hahaha! That tiny Alicorn can't do anything!" Scarlet laughed before taking Sarah and her birth parents in her magic.

"No!" Sunny cried.

"Mama!"

"Princess!"

"Princess, My High Lord, My High Lady!"

"Ponchita!"

"Sweetheart!"

"Master Sarah!"

"Mommy Sarah!"

"Auntie!"

"Now you can watch as I finally destroy these three forever! Hahaha!"

"Never! They're my friends!" Sunny growled before charging Scarlet Nightmare full force, leaping into the air as he cutie mark glowed and her gained her wings and horn once more before tackling the spirit of the cursed Alicorn onto the ground.

"Ugh! You can't defeat me! I will always leave on!"

"No you won't!" Sunny exclaimed with her horn and wings glowing, hovering over the Alicorn spirit. "As long as we have friendship, you'll never return AGAIN!" Sunny's eyes turned purely white before a shockwave of magic appeared and struck, Izzy, Zipp, Pipp, Hitch, Sarah and some of her family: Her human family, Race, Silvally, her Mentors, Nebby, Nebula, Eternatus, Calyrex.

All at once multiple gemstones appeared around them in the shape of their cutie marks, hearts, swords and alicorns placing themselves on their chests (or in Sarah's case - one on her chest and one added to her head piece). Together with Sunny, the gemstones and her family used their friendship and love together and sent out a rainbow shockwave banishing the Windigos and destroying Scarlet Nightmares' spirit once and for all, causing the Earth Ponies hooves to glow green and cleared the skies once and for all to the cheers of the ponies, pokemon and dragons.

Hitch giggled at the magic from his hooves, "That tickles..!"

Then a box flipped over revealing his animal friends whom took cover from the storm and they came over and chirped and squeaks at him.....which he understood. "Yeah, yeah I know! I understand everything you guys are saying..." when he heard himself, he froze in shock. "Did you just...talk? Did I just....understand you...Whaaaaaat?"

The bird with the can on his head chirped again, "Wow, that is a lot of information. Nice to meet you Kenith, I'm Hitch."

Posey looked at her new green glowing hooves and gently tapped the ground, creating roses out of thin air, "Flower power...?!" she gawked in awe as two more Earth Ponies removed the ice and snow from the flora in the towm.

"Earth Pony Magic...!" Sunny smiled.

"That's never happened before James." Izzy grinned.

"Maybe when we come together, we can create new magic..." Zipp thought just before Sarah and her real parents got up with their eyes finally normal and their strength returned.

"Sarah!" Sunny smiled hugging the young Princess.

"S-Sunny...w-what happened?" Sarah asked.

"We defeated Scarlet and the Windigos....for good this time." Sunny reassured.

"Ooooh! And we got new necklaces too! And so did some of your family!" Pipp squealed looking at her golden necklace with the purple gemstone in shape of her cutie mark.

"Woah.....what are they....?" Hitch asked looking at his golden necklace with a orange gemstone in the shape of his cutie mark.

"They are the Elements of Harmony..." a soft voice came before everyone turned and saw the Spirits of the Guardians of Friendship and the Three Royal Alicorns: Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Princess Celestia, Princess Luna and Princess Cadence.

Everyone was in complete awe at the legendary spirits.

"T-Twilight Sparkle..." Sunny gawked seeing the ponies her father told her many stories about.

"Hello Sunny Starscout, I'm so happy to see Equestria is reunited once more thanks to all of your efforts." Twilight Sparkle spoke. "By reuniting everypony and believing in the magic of friendship, you've created the most powerful magic to Ponydom; the symbols of friendship - the Elements of Harmony. We wield them many time sin Ancient Equestria but they were destroyed along with the powerful tree which grew them: The Tree of Harmony. You and your friends have created the reflections of the Elements we wielded long ago: The Elements of Family and History through keeping the history of the Magic of Friendship alive - Magic, Kindness, Generosity, Loyalty, Laughter and Honesty. The Elements of Love represented by the young Princess' family - Sarah, Nebby, Nebula, Calyrex, Nyasi and Eternatus represent Protection, Hope, Generosity, Kindness, Trust and Perseverance. The Elements of Patriotism represented by the Swords of Justice, Zeraora and Zoura -Loyalty. Equity, Pride, Acceptance, Magic and Faith."

"Woah....." Sunny and her friends gasped in awe and Sarah's family felt the same way having created their own kind of magic together.

"And we have one more reward for you...." Celestia spoke before the star Zoura dug up the other day shimmered and glowed very brightly before emitting a powerful beam of pure light into the sky before a multi-level the crystalline tree-castle sprouted from the ground to the amazement of everypony, pokemon and dragon.

The castle includes a great balcony, two spires, and a tower. The structure has at least one banner flying on the side marked with Twilight Sparkle's cutie mark, and the top bears a large crystal star. Two sets of five strings of beads hang off the side of the structure much like the white beads that hang off the Tree of Harmony. At the foot is a great golden stair for the two-leaved golden door into the tree's body. Two open lancet windows flank the door.

The lobby's two stairs lead into the castle rooms where lancet two-toned green glass windows and crystalline lathed columns with scrolled tops line the hall decked by a brown rug with scrollwork. At its end is a golden-framed green glass fanlighted door to the throne room where the Mane Six and Spike each had a crystalline throne about a star-shaped dais on a golden dish on a violet rug with scrollwork. Even with its door are a set of green glass spire lights.

"What in Equestria....." Hitch gasped.

"I-It's the Castle of Friendship!" Sunny squealed in awe. "It's where Princess Twilight lived!"

"Indeed it is....I casted an ancient spell on the castle to keep it hidden in times of crisis, but thanks to all of you, it has risen once more and its now the home of the young Sun Princess and her family..." Princess Twilight acknowledged to the latters' shock.

"R-Really?" Sarah breathed and Twilight nodded.

"You've proven more than once the Magic of Friendship lives on in other worlds beyond Equestria having used it to make yourself and your family stronger at every turn, sugarcube." Applejack nodded.

"You defeated Scarlet Nightmare where we all failed and lost our lives." Rainbow Dash added.

"Proving you more than worthy, darling." Rarity added.

"T-Thank you..." Sarah stammered a little.

Twilight and the other spirits nodded before they all disappeared back to Heaven. "Come on! Let's go check out the castle!" Izzy yelled excitedly before bolting towards the castle.

But before the rest could follow the unicorn. “Zephyrina.” Queen Haven called approving with Thunder, Zoom and Cloudpuff. “Come on honey, time to come home..”

Zipp lowered her ears but Sarah put her good on her shoulder and nodded at her. Zipp nodded back and approached her mother.

“Mom….the truth is….I don’t want to be Queen…ever. Being Queen, all the speeches, planning and stuff that’s….you’re thing. It’s not who I am. I want to find something that makes me special besides my royal title, like Pipp has her singing and performing. I don’t have anything else that makes me special, I want to find out who I am. My place is here in Maretime with my friends and your place is in Zephyr Heights, ruling.” Zipp spoke from her heart at her mother.

Queen Haven only smiled at her elders daughter, “Okay Zipp.”

”R-Really?”

”Pipp told me what Sarah told her about you and your feelings about being Queen a few months ago, but I wanted to wait until you told me yourself before giving you the all clear. I’m sorry I put so much pressure on you to be Queen without asking if you wanted that for yourself.” Haven apologized.

“It’s okay Mom.” Zipp smiled before the pair shared a hug mending their strained relationship.

”Hey everypony.” Posey approached sheepishly. “I’m sorry for the way I acted and for everything I said. I guess I was just feeling a bit…”

”Jealous?” James answered.

“Yes. And I let my feelings get the better of me which nearly brought back Scarlet Nightmare and destroyed Equestria.” Posey frowned. “I’m sorry for everything.”

“We forgive you Posey.” Nikki smiled. “Just remember to just say your jealous to begin with so you can let it go and not cause utter destruction as a result.”

“Right.” Posey nodded.

“HEY! ARE YOU COMING OR WHAT?” Izzy’s voice sounded from the castles location.

The latter laughed before the Mane Five, their pokemon, the Mighty Ones and Sarah and her whole family went to the happy-go-lucky unicorns location.

Up close the castle was so majestic and beautiful having been cleaned by the magic. "It's so beautiful...." Sunny grinned happily at the legendary Castle from Ancient Equestria.

Then, the group heard some crying coming from near the castle, "Crying?" Sarah questioned as she went over to the side of the staircase and gasped widely. The figure crying......was a baby Alicorn....! The baby filly was white as snow with rainbow coloured feathers and a golden horn!

“Ooooh! Where did you come from little one?” she cooed as the baby grabbed her face, imprinting on her.

Seeing the baby Alicorn was a huge shock to everypony. "Is that....baby Alicorn!" Sunny gawked.

"Amazing!" Zoura gawked at the baby as Sarah brought her over.

"She's adorable!" Pipp cooed at the adorable baby.

"Was...she in the castle all this time?" Tamu asked. "Like in suspended animation?"

"Like Mischief and the my familys' guardians were in the castle...." Sarah breathed. "Maybe...." the baby Alicorn cooed before she saw the wagon filled with eggs. Spreading her wings she fluttered over to the eggs. "Now now tiny one, you can't play with fragile eggs."

The baby giggled before activating her magic which was a golden aura which coated the eggs.....making them all hatch into four Water Dragons, five unknown dragons and two metamorphosed Changelings.

The male changeling was turquoise blue with a curved horn, aquamarine wing coverings and light blue luminescent wings and the female changeling was silver with rose pink wing coverings and pink luminescent wings.

The first Equestria Dragons were silvery white with a white mane and pure white stripes on her body and a jagged shaped horn. Red with a rose pink mane and spine, white shading on her straight horn and pink eye. Golden yellow with white stripes, a light yellow mane and two dark yellow horns with a white swirl. And aquamarine with a light blue mane, dark blue stripes and a teardrop horn, dark blue eyes.

The five unknown dragons scales were orange, black, indigo, gold and amber.

"Four Equestria Dragons, five unknown Dragons and two Changelings....! They haven't been seen for generations!"

"Ah, the five dragons are different species of a breed called Nature Dragons: SkyWing, NightWing, SeaWing, IceWing and RainWing. Each have different powers and skills like the RainWings' scales changing color according to their mood." Ryu smiled. "They are very ancient species whom were thought to have gone extinct but these little ones are new hope for their species."

The babies looked at the Swords of Justice, Sarah and her human family and Nikki and James before cooing at them wanting to be held.

Nikki and James took the baby Changelings in their hooves who giggled and climbed up onto their heads while the four Equestria Dragons babbled and tried to climb out of the wagon but the Swords of Justice took them in their arms.

The five unknown Dragons cooed at Sarah, Tsukumaro, Race, Doug and Deliah and fluttered into their arms cooing

“You guys have your own Equestria Dragons now!” Izzy smiled.

“Congratulations, you are all parents now!” Sarah chuckled at her Mentors, adoptive parents, godfather and boyfriend.

"Wait what?!" they gawked earning laughs from everyone as the sun shined brightly on the Castle of Friendship with a new beginning for everypony, pokemon and dragon.

"Those little ponies finally figured out how to stabilize the magic. Took them long enough." a voice stated in an unknown location as an Alicorn mare with only her mulberry face, white shaded horn and greyish white mane.

"That's Princes and her familys' power is unlike anything I've ever seen.....And now that they've had. It's time to take back what is mine..." she declared laughing, which meant eventual trouble for the Mane Five, Mighty Ones and Sarah and her family.
