High School Saga! New Beginnings!
UNIVERSE 7: PLANET EARTH
Within the far reaches of the galaxy, far away from the Frieza Force’s grasp and at the border of the Galactic Patrol, lays a planet. This blue and green planet was named Earth by its inhabitants. Not much was known of this planet since many of the major factions or groups in space saw it as a backwater planet.
Within this planet many species and races live upon it. Ranging from humans, to humanoid animals, to even Dinosaurs. The differences in race and species had once brought war and even segregation on the society, leading to wars and even groups of people reaching for power.
These wars lead to many people creating their own schools and fighting styles, teaching the new fighters and soon new students how to defend and fight. Within the fighting and wars, a society was able to be built, giving many of the fighters a reason to fight for and having a King of Earth voted into power by the citizens the society lasted longer than many other societies. Soon more and more people joined the King in harmony and peace.
Recently, Earth had been put under threat again and again. The Red Ribbon Army fought for the same power that the King of Earth had. Demon King Piccolo struck the innocents with the idea to take over the world. Even a small emperor and his two lackies went after power.
Truly Earth has faced many cruel and evil foes, some if not all went after the dragon balls to gain one wish from the eternal dragon Shenron. Few got their wishes but many were stopped by the unknown hero of earth, Son Goku. A human voy with the tail of a monkey, his strength and battle styles aiding him in many of the battles against evil.
This young monkey man was found by a young but adventurous scientist named Bulma. The young woman was on the search for the dragon balls when she came across Goku, when realizing that the young boy held onto one of the 7 dragon balls Bulma persuaded him to tag along. Together the two met crazy and intresting adventures, thus leading Goku to meet the Turtle Hermit, Master Roshi.
Training along side Krillin, Goku became one of the strongest on Earth. Whenever threats like the Demon King or the worlds own people, Son Goku had always brought back peace within the world. But what happens when a threat outside of the world comes to earth because of Goku?
While Goku and his son went to a friend reunion on Master Roshi's island, a pod had crashed landed into a farmers field. The metal pod had opened, releasing a new threat to this world. A man with long spiky hair and a similar monkey tail to what Goku once had and what Goku's son Gohan has exited the pod.
After dealing with the farmer the stranger started to look for his missing brother “Kakarot” across his search the mysterious man met the son of the deceased Demon King Piccolo, Piccolo Jr. With one swift attack Piccolo was left in shock at the raw energy that this man had but was left alive either by the man’s mercy or attention being grabbed else where.
Flying toward Kame house, the man met Goku and his friends. Smiling and talking to Goku as it they were already knowing of one another, the mysterious figure reveals himself to be Gokus older brother, Raditz.
Along with this shocking information, Eadirz then goes on to explain Son Gokus origin, a low class saiyan named Kakarot sent to planet earth to rid it of life and prepare it to be selled to the highest bidder. “You are part of the proud saiyan race Kakarot, you should have done your job long ago. But it seems that you need some
Trying to persuade Goku to join him and the last of the Saiyans race, Raditz realized Goku's tail was missing. “K-Kakarot! Your tail what happened to your tail!” Raditz asked in shock, his own tail wrapping even tighter around his waist.
Goku looked at where his tail used to be, looking back at Raditz, Goku soon realized they might truly be brothers after all. “I got it removed long ago!” Goku had replied to Raditz, his guard still up.
Talking bit by bit, Raditz soon got tired of talking. Thinking of ways to motivate his brother, Raditz looked at Goku's son. Finding an answer to his problems Raditz attacked his younger brother and managed to kidnap Goku’s child.
Making a deal Raditz smirked “If you want your son back I want you to eliminate 100 earthlings by this time tomorrow” and with that Raditz flew away.
Struggling to get back up, Goku yelled out for his flying cloud Nimbus. Worried for his son, Goku would struggle to get onto the cloud until Goku and his friends heard a familiar voice. Piccolo Jr had watched the rest of the events play out as he and Goku plotted the idea to team up against this threat. With that the two flew after the saiyan Raditz.
Equestria: Canterlot Castle
Equestria, a universe of magic and harmony. A universe where magic controls everything instead of nature itself. The weather is controlled by the Pegasus, the crops and the fields controlled by the earth ponies and the magic that gives us control on the skies and lands is used by the unicorns. They live with harmony and friendship under the Princess of the Sun. Princess Celestia, one of the most powerful in the universe, controls the Sun and Moon. Bringing a day and night cycle for thousands of years.
Through her years Princess Celestia has ruled over the nation, making peace agreements with other nations. Protecting her ponies and other royal members in Equestria, Celestia realized that the magic in Equestria will have to be studied for not only the safty of those who use it but to remember how magic will work in the future.
With this idea forming in her mind, Celestia made the school for gifted unicorns. It would take some time but soon the school took off, unicorns across Equestria went to the school to study under the Princess. One of those students was named Sunset Shimmer.
Sunset Shimmer came to learn about magic and how to use it to its best abilities. With her eagerness to learn more about the magical arts of life and how she may be able to push for a better future, Sunset Shimmer soon caught the eye of the Sun Princess.
Celestia watched Sunset's growth in magical studies and saw the potential that Sunset had within her. Taking her in under her wing, Celestia deemed that Sunset was to be her personal student.
Sunset saw Princess Celestia as a mother figure. Always wanting to please the princess and feeling that she had somepony to turn to in times of needs. While Celestia soon grew to see Sunset as her own blood, their bond became one of mother and daughter.
Recently Celestia has been focusing more on diplomatic efforts with other nations. Leaving Sunset in the background looking for a parental figure to help her in situations that happened though the school or even through her personal life.
Being the personal student of Celestia, Sunset made many enemies, ponies bullied her, treated her with hate and jealousy, some even faked being friends with Sunset, causing stress and distrust within Sunset when all the ponies she thought cared for her laughed at her mishaps.
The Sunset that joined the school long ago has changed, her distrust in others and the only mother figure she had ever had in her life being distracted by political events has salted Sunset Shimmer throughout her recent years.
Sunset Shimmer walked quietly through the halls of the castle, the ponies and guards walked around her as they kept their heads up and their eyes away from Sunset. Sunset had grown to ignore the ponies around her over the years. None seemed to want to talk with her nor make any attempt to look her way.
Sunset thought of the talk she and Princess Celestia had just had only moments ago. The words the princess said echoing in her mind. The argument started over the peace treaty with the King of the Dragons. The King had just ripped the treaty apart, making the Princess of the Sun worried that the dragons will attack with their rage and greed.
Sunset and Celestia were talking about the situation in the throne room. It was only her and the princess. After discussing many ideas or options they could take, Celestia got tired of the topic and tried to move on from it. Sunset pushed and pushed Celestia, wanting to find a better option, “perhaps we can close the borders from the dragons, or make it where they can’t step or wander within our lands or it will be an act of war? Just to scare the dragons from trying?” Sunset remembered asking Celestia
Celestia had been stressed of the situation, talking and hearing the dark ideas that Sunset only brought more stress and shock to Celestia's heart. “Sunset! How could you think of such horrible things! They are dragons and deserve respect just as you and I deserve it.” Celestia asked, her voice was harsh and judging.
Sunset, shocked at the Princess’s reaction, retorted, “Princess Celestia, you must know that some monsters can not be talked with nor seen eye to eye? If they tried to attack us, which I believe, ripping the peace treaty is a great sign of wanting war, we must be ready. They are sending a message then so should we.” Celestia looked at the room around them, only guards within the room watched as Celestia thought of what to say.
“Sunset, the king was only doing what he thought was best to keep his power. The other dragons believe he has gone weak, I know he wants no war nor any kind of act that will bring blood to a war that isn’t necessary. What you are suggesting will only force him to act in war.” Celestia explained
The words only entered and exited Sunset's ears as she rolled her eyes, “If that were true he would have told the other dragons to back off and to let the peace treaty continue!” Sunset argued to Celestia.
Celestia under a lot of stress and anger slowly rising within her Sunset snapped. “Sunset you are not knowledgeable in everything, and especially with politics regarding the king of another race, so if you will. Just leave!” Celestia yelled out in sudden anger.
Sunset was shocked at the sudden anger of Celestia, taken aback at the yell Sunset stood straight and looked at Celestia. “Yes, Princess Celestia.” Sunset simply said as she turned around and started to trot out of the room. Her voice hurt as she walked away, Celestia tried to call out for Sunset but Sunset didn’t listen.
Now Sunset walks down the corridor, silent as she faces forward. Her mind reminding her of the events that have just transpired, Sunset mentally grumbles and pouts. Not showing any emotions to any ponies around. “Emotions show weakness Sunset, keep that serious look and think of a way to help Equestria.” Sunset thought to herself.
Walking past guards and other royal ponies that were visiting the princess or seeing the castle, Sunset kept a calm and collective expression. Thinking of a plan on how to help Equestria with their political problems and technological age, Sunset couldn't help but to think of the rumor of a mirror that can enter into a new dimension, an unexplored dimension.
Shaking her head from the thoughts Sunset couldn't imagine herself exploring an unknown world, but the idea wasn't fully thrown away. Her mind thought of ways they could try to explore it, how it could hold secrets that can aid Equestria, or perhaps make an establishing trading route to this one and the next. All of these thoughts went through Sunset's head until she thought of what Celestia would say.
“Celestia…” Sunset mumbled under her breath, catching herself before continuing on her thoughts. Sunset thought mentally, “Perhaps she would tell me. “You're too young Sunset you wouldn't know the dangers in that new world!” Then she would yell at me some more.” Sunset had continued to walk, her body guiding her rather than her wanting to go somewhere.
“What if the mirror isn't real? It very well could all be fake, a legend, but with the amount of ponies that brought it up recently… there has to be some bit of truth. Though knowing that the mirror could very well be a legend, something within Sunset told her to keep looking.
Sunset thought on the ideas her mind grew, one by one she pushed aside but she noticed that each and everyone held with the idea of the mirror. “I need to find a new hobby.” Sunset thought to herself as she finally realized that she had stopped walking. Looking up at the door she stood before, Sunset smiled softly as the words “Library” showed where Sunset was.
Entering the library, Sunset let out a long sigh, the smell of books and ink filled the air as Sunset trotted past the open doors. Sunset’s stress went to the back of her head, her worry and anger slowly dissipated. Walking toward the checkout counter of the library, Sunset saw a familiar and joyful unicorn mare.
Mrs. Bookworm smiled at Sunset, her old eyes shining with happiness. Walking around the desk, Mrs. Bookworm spoke slowly, “Oh Sunset, how are you doing today?” Mrs Bookworm asked as she brought Sunset into a slow motherly embrace. Sunset couldn’t help but to smile within the hug, the kindness the librarian showed her was like no other.
“I am doing fine Mrs. Bookworm, what about you? How’s the library doing?” Sunset asked the elder mare. Helping Mrs. Bookworm back to the chair she was sitting on, Sunset walked to the back of the librarian section. Going to a old but very familiar coffee machine, Sunset started to make herself and Mrs. Bookworm a cup.
“Oh you know the library, not many ponies come in here, they are usually out there trying to make their own stories or own adventures, especially in the beginning of the school year. Rarely does a pony come in here for books, some come for the comics and other stuff like that. All except you Sunset.”
Sunset blushed a bit at the comment as she continued to crush the beans and warm up the water with her magic. “W-well you know me, always trying to improve, always trying to get better.” Sunset stated her voice trailing away as she thought of the events before.
Mrs. Bookworm couldn't tell but felt that something was off about Sunset, “And how are you and Princess Celestia doing? I know last time you and I spoke of the princess it was a bit rough for you to continue to speak. Did it get better?” Mrs. Bookworm asked the unicorn before her. Sunset only continued to make the coffee.
Sunset felt her eyes watering up but managed to keep it together, “Princess Celestia?” Sunset choked out for a second until clearing her voice, “Princess Celestia has seemed to be rather busy on political views than I at the moment.” Sunset explained to Mrs. Bookworm.
Mrs. Bookworm was silent for a while as she nodded, “I see and have you brought it up to her?” Mrs. Bookworm asked, Sunset only nodded. Knowing that Sunset goes quiet when angry and not wanting to anger the young unicorn, Mrs. Bookworm thought of a different subject.
“Well, if I may ask, what brings you here today? You finish your old books and looking for new ones?” Mrs. Bookworm asked kindly as Sunset looked at her with a smile.
“Well no, i just needed a place to clear my head, I was… wandering and my body brought me here.” Sunset explained to the elder as she gently floated the mug over to her.
Gratefully taking the mug, Mrs. Bookworm nodded, “Well spend as long as you like here. With your coffee making skills a librarian is lucky to have you here.” Mrs. Bookworm explained as the two took a small drink of the coffee.
After sitting for a while and conversing about more things, Sunset soon finished her coffee, “Well, since I am here, I should check out some more books. If that is alright with you?” Sunset asked the Librarian who only nodded.
“Of course, I know you for so long and I know you wouldn't want to hurt any of the books here. If you need help you know where to contact me but I think you will find your way.” Mrs. Bookworm explained as she levitated her glasses onto her eyes. Sunset smiled at the librarian and started to walk into the shelves.
Enjoying the little distraction that she had just had, Sunset looked ahead of her as she found where she last left off on the book shelves. Looking left and right, Sunset saw all the books she could read over. The ideas and the stories of the books gave Sunset more and more ideas of what she could do to help Equestria. Reaching the back of the library, Sunset looked around at the area, “Here we go.” Sunset said to herself as she pulled on the books she had left off on.
Pulling books out with her magic, Sunset started to stack the books that caught her eyes. Pulling one by one out, Sunset’s eyes noticed a bump in the wall behind the books and shelves. Confused at the bump, Sunset moved the other books out of the way as she placed her hoof on top of the bump.
As she barely put any pressure on the bump, Sunset felt the thing within her hoof push back. The hidden button sliding in as the wall next to Sunset slowly opened and the bookshelves moved aside. From behind the wall and bookshelves, was revealed a hidden room.
Sunset was left confused and speechless at the sudden rooms appearance, for a few seconds Sunset watched as if something were to jump out of the darkness and attack her. Once nothing revealed itself, Sunset took a step within the room. Her mouth still open and her eyes holding curiosity.
At first the light from the library was enough for Sunset to see but as she walked into the darkness, Sunset had to use her magic to light the darkness. Her horn lit up slowly with care, to let her eyes adjust with the sudden light. Within the darkness, another light slowly brightened at the same time.
At first Sunset thought it was another pony, turning off her horn, Sunset went quiet. Sunset noticed the other light did the exact same thing at the same time. Sunset looked at the darkness for a second and with hesitation Sunset started the light again.
The light ahead of her shines once again, “Hello?” Sunset called out to the light, but no one responded. It was until Sunset got closer that she realized that the light ahead of her, was her own reflection. Sunset stared at herself in confusion, the mirror before her showing Sunset herself.
Walking up close to the mirror, Sunset saw the dust that had laid upon it, “Who would just put a mirror in this room and leave it here.” Sunset asked. Her hoof slowly reached out and wiped on the mirror. Expecting a hard surface layer, Sunset felt her body shiver as the mirror rippled like a pool of water being disturbed.
Stepping back from the mirror Sunset soon realized what the mirror was as she was looking at. “The mirror.” Sunset whispered to herslef as she looked around her, the room held scrolls and books but none held her interest other than the mirror itself.
Looking at it, Sunset tried to remember the legend. “A mirror that is not like any other, a gateway that opens once to another world. It only opens every 30 moons.” Sunset thought of the legend that she snooped on the royal guards and some of Celestia's higher ups speaking on the subject. The thoughts of the legend stayed in her mind as Sunset grabbed a nearby item. A small pebble from the roof. Grabbing it, Sunset tossed the pebble to the mirror. Thinking the pebble will bounce off the mirror Sunset was surprised when the pebble went through the mirror with a ripple.
Not seeing the mirror crash but let the pebble go through, Sunset’s eyes opened. “I need to grab my stuff. This is my opportunity!” Sunset said to herself, she quickly turned around and ran out of the small room.
UNIVERSE 7: PLANET EARTH
Goku and Piccolo flew over the skies for a while. Goku rode his flying nimbus, a cloud that allowed only those with a pure heart ride upon them. As for Piccolo, he flew right beside the saiyan, both were quiet for the flight not sure what to say to one another or if the other would even respond.
The two fighters would soon come close to Raditz’s position, a farm area with a crater in the middle, a small pod lying within the crater as Radtiz was standing at the edge. Turing around to look at the sky, Raditz spotted the two. “Looks like he spotted us. Guess sneaking up on him won't be much of a plan now!” Goku said to Piccolo.
The demon only scoffed and flew down, “Sneaking would have been a waste of time anyway! Now come on, let's kill this bastard.” Piccolo simply stated. Piccolo descended from the sky as Goku jumped off Nimbus, flipping in the air and landing onto the ground.
As Raditz watched the two land before him, Raditz thought to himself “Kakarot… please don’t make me kill you.” Staring at the two Raditz took a step forward and crossed his arms. “Well, well, well, look who’s decided to drop in. It’s little brother, oh and he brought the green man with him.” Raditz chuckled to himself.
Goku and Piccolo only looked at Raditz; the two didn’t say anything to the comment. “So, what brings you chumps here?” Raditz asked, his confidence high and his bravado strong.
Goku gritted his teeth, “Isn't it obvious! I am here to get my son back!” Goku said as he clenched his fist, “Where is he? You’re hiding him somewhere aren't you!” Goku shouted.
Raditz only sighed, “Before that, did you do as I said? Did you kill 100 earthlings?” Raditz asked his younger brother. Before Goku even said anything Raditz could tell he wouldn’t like the answer.
“I am not killing 100 innocent people! These are lives and I will not let any harm come to them!” Goku responded, Piccolo was only quiet as he listened to the brothers talk, his eyes watching Raditz in case any sudden attack would appear.
Raditz stepped back as he quietly gulped. Knowing Vegeta was hearing in their conversation, Raditz slowly and quietly removed his scouter. Putting it within his palm and trying to cover the microphone, Raditz spoke. “I didn’t specify it had to be innocent! There is bound to be bad people on this water back planet just kill 100 of those and I will-“ Raditz would be interrupted by Goku.
“I don’t care! I am not going to kill others just because you tell me so, it's not right and we are not supposed to be what we call it! Now I will ask again, where is my son!” Goku shouted, Raditz winced at the yell as he looked at the scouter in his palm. Sighing, Raditz slowly put it back on.
“His screaming was giving me a headache, so I locked him up in there.” Raditz said as he pointed with his thumb into the crater and toward the space pod. Before the Saiyan could continue, Goku jumped up into the air and looked down at the crater. The pod layed still.
“Gohan! Stay calm! I will get you out of there, don't worry!” Goku shouted into the pod. Gohan looked from within the pod up at the sky to where he heard his father. His cries were muffled. Goku landed back on the ground as he now focused all his attention on Raditz.
Raditz noticed both of the fighters preparing to fight him. “Don’t tell me you actually think you stand a chance against me!” Raditz asked in confusion, but upon seeing Goku get into a dragon stance, and seeing Piccolo remove the clothes he had on, and hearing it land with a thump, Raditz prepared himself. “Y-You fool! You’re not even fit to call yourself a Saiyan! Prepare to die!”
“Finally we can get into the fight, i was about to call off your family reunion and blast him Goku. Say your final words to your brother because after this, he will be six feet under.” Piccolo stated.
“He is no brother of mine, now come on let's hurry!” Goku said as he removed the last of his weighted armor. Raditz listened to his younger brother's words and felt something within him sting, it was as if his own father was telling him how disappointed he was. Pushing the thought aside, Raditz prepared himself.
Without another word, the battle commenced. Goku and Piccolo, though the earths strongest, struggled through Raditz powerful and devastating blows. Diffrent techniques and attacks were tried from Goku and Piccolo. Raditz fought beating the two into the ground multiple times. Forcing them to take his attention away from one.
In the end it all came down to one of Piccolos newest attacks, though he wanted to use it on Goku, Piccolo knew that it will be a great test run to use against Gokus older brother. Goku distracted Raditz over and over again, his bones breaking, his ribs being crushed as his older brother kicked him again and again.
“Kakarot! Why!” Raditz thought a kick was given, “Didn’t!” A bone was broken as Raditz grabbed him with his arm and slammed him into the ground. “You listen!” Raditz finished within his mind as he punched Goku in the face. His younger brother only coughed and groaned as Raditz stopped. Raditz didn't realize but within his scouter a single tear rolled down.
Goku looked at Raditz as he received another kick, all he could do was yell as the pain of his sides shot all around his body. Raditz wiped the tear away as he forced his bravado to come out. Looking at Piccolo, Raditz smirked. “Don’t get too comfortable! You're next!”
Raditz looked back at his little brother, his leg was slightly off of Goku but slowly he forced it back on, he laughed quietly trying to trick himself to enjoy the fight, but something within him was making it hard to do so. Before he could continue with his thoughts and actions, Raditz scouter came to life again. Scanning a power level rising and rising nearby, Raditz was confused as he followed it. Going past Piccolo and toward his space pod, Raditz’s eyes widened as the pod exploded with power.
Piccolo looked at Gohan in surprise as Goku watched from the ground in confusion. Both sensed the sudden rise in power as Gohan’s rage took over. Gohan was only facing Raditz, not knowing what to do or say, Gohan only yelled. “Leave my dad ALONE!” Raditz stared in shock but before anyone could do anything, Gohan shot off the ground. With the speed of a bullet, Gohan headbutted Raditz right in the middle of his saiyan armor.
Raditz’s eyes widen as the armor broke, his ribs cracking as one of his lungs was stabbed by a rib. Coughing out blood, and stepping backwards, Raditz yelled in pain. Gohan would land near Goku, the young boy about to get back up to attack Raditz but before he could, he heard a voice. “Gohan?” Goku barely was able to say to his son.
Gohan turned to his father, “Daddy? Daddy, are you okay?” Gohan asked, slowly crawling toward Goku. As Gohan reached him, Goku realized Raditz was still standing. Raditz had started to walk closer and closer to Goku and Gohan.
“Gohan, listen to me, you have to go, get out of here now!” Goku said through strained breaths. Gohan looked scared at his father, his confusion and fear showing Goku he couldn’t move. Radtiz was right on top of them as Goku put his arm between Gohan and Raditz. Raditz merely kicked it aside and looked at Gohan.
“You! Where did all that power come from!” Raditz asked, his left hand holding onto his wound. Gohan looked around himself as if he was looking for who Raditz was talking to this only angered Raditz more. “You, you moron! Stop acting dumb and tell me!” Raditz shouted at Gohan.
The child covered his head and started to cry as Goku tried to reason with his brother. “Please! He is just a kid, he can’t fight!” Goku’s begs fell upon deaf ears as Raditz took another step.
Gohan looked at Raditz and sniffled as Raditz picked him up by the collar. “Where did you get that power, you rose so high that you actually damaged me! Its been a long time since another saiyan was able to damage me or my armor so tell me. How did you get so strong!” Raditz shouted.
Gohan cried as he covered his face, his tail tucked in between his legs as he spoke. “I don’t know! I don’t know what power you are talking about!” Gohan cried out in front of Raditz.
Now losing his patience Raditz shouted, “Fine then! Act dumb! Uncle Raditz is pissed!” Raditz shouted loudly as he threw Gohan up, the child could do anything as he fell back down infront of Raditz only to receive a punch. The punch threw Gohan away from Goku and Raditz.
“Raditz! Please, don’t hurt him, he is just a boy!”Goku begged as he started to crawl toward Raditz. Raditz looked back to his brother, the fear and pain on his little brother's face made Raditz sick.
“Yes he is just a little boy, but that power, if you saw it too you would be terrified! If he ever learned to control it it would be very bad for all of us.” Raditz explained to his brother, it wasn't confidence nor cockiness, but sympathy.
Goku heard his older brother's words but started to push himself back onto his knees as he tried to reach out for Raditz. “Raditz stop! It’s my son! You can’t kill him!” Goku shouted but seeing that Raditz was only ignoring him and taking a step closer to Gohan, Goku knew his brother wouldn’t listen. Something within Goku started to boil, his rage started to rise as his eyes became yellow.
Now Raditz makes his way to the unconscious Gohan Raditz wonders at the sudden power and the damage he received, thinking out loud Raditz spoke. “How could such a boy do so much damage to me? I am one of the strongest saiyans in the universe, one of the last and yet this boy who has never fought a day in his life, was able to control so much power and release it all in one attack!”
Finally reaching Gohan, Raditz thought to himself as he looked at his nephew. “Perhaps Kakarot wasn't wrong about the earthlings being weak perhaps… still, if I leave this planet without destroying it Prince Vegeta would kill me.” Raditz thought as he became worried.
Looking at Gohan, Raditz raised his hand slowly. “You fought well little one, just like a true saiyan. For that, I will give you a true saiyans rest.” Raditz said, his thoughts filled with everything that has happened. All of his actions here and if it was worth it. Being so caught up in his thoughts, Raditz didn’t realize his scouter beeping that a sudden power appeared behind him, he also didn’t realize Gokus animal like yell as a fist went across Raditz’s face.
Spinning and stepping back from the kid, Raditz was taken aback from the sudden attack then felt someone grab him from behind and put him into a full nelson hold. “Why your wrench! I should have killed you!” Raditz yelled at Goku as he struggled to get out of the hold. Goku’s eyes were still yellow as he looked at his son, his fatherly instincts wanting to check up on him but knowing the threat at hand Goku kept his grip and turned to Piccolo.
“P-Piccolo Your attack! Let’s go!” Goku shouted to Piccolo as he forcefully pulled Raditz away from his son. Raditz had started to squirm and even tried to push off the ground only for Goku’s sudden strength to keep him still.
“Goku, you sly dog, I knew you were just acting! No bastard on or off this world can keep you down!” Piccolo laughed as Goku held on for dear life, Raditz turned to Goku surprised that his brother was able to stand as well, thinking that his younger brother was out for the count.
Raditz moved around and tried to fly up but Goku had managed to get Raditz's tail and step on it as hard as he could, making the older brother paralyze in pain and fall to one knee. “K-Kakarot please forgive me I will leave just let me go!” Raditz started to beg, though Goku couldn’t tell if it was a lie or not, Goku didn’t wish to take the chance again.
Piccolo charged his blast all while he looked at the two saiyans. Noticing that Goku's sudden rage was quickly fading away, Piccolo rushed to use his energy. “Goku, now hold on tight this will take some time, and for the love of Kami do not listen to whatever he says!” Piccolo shouted to Goku. Little by little Raditz started to break free, his little brother's strength becoming even as his.
Goku, looking around not sure what he could do, kicked the back of Raditz's knee, making him fall back onto the ground. Raditz grunted at the pain as he looked ahead at Piccolo. “Kakarot please! We are brothers! If- if he hits me it will hit you, killing us both! You will leave your son fatherless!” Raditz yelled, he looked at Gohan, his mind going to the times that he and his mother Gine were left alone due to Bardock leaving for missions.
"Piccolo! Hurry up I’m slipping!"Goku yelled out to Piccolo. Raditz was only fighting harder to break free, but it was no use. As for Goku, he seemed to want the blast to go through them both. Turning toward Raditz, Goku chuckled “If it's the only way to beat you I am all in, heh you should have left when we have given you the chance!” Goku replied to Raditz.
Raditz's eyes went wide as he stopped struggling and he turned his head to look at Goku. Goku was able to see that Raditz was petrified, “H-how could you be so calm! Your son will be alone!” Goku looked at Raditz but before he spoke, Goku only faced to his son. A smile appeared on his face as he faced Raditz with determination.“N-no please Kakarot!” Raditz said as he sounded fearful.
Equestria: Canterlot Castle
Sunset had reached her room, rummaging through drawers and closets, Sunset searched for specific items. She ran around her room, her magic levitating books, pencils and even some bits. Finally levitating the most important thing in her room a black jacket slowly hovered over her. Landing on her back and slipping her hooves through Sunset smiled. “Almost done, I just need my saddlebags on my back and I will be ready!” Sunset said excitedly.
Levitating her saddlebags upon her back Sunset smiled and turned for the door, quickly trotting toward the door Sunset’s eye caught something in the corner of her eye. On her desk, layed a book. Dust covered the front of the book but Sunset knew all too well what the book was. Sunset reached out for it with her magic instinctively but then stopped herself. Turning away, Sunset looked to the ground, “Not like she ever writes to me anymore…” Sunset said quietly.
She faced forward again, though determined to explore the new world, Sunset thought of those she will be leaving behind. Mrs. Bookworm, Celestia, even some of the royal guards that she grew up with. They will be left here and she will have no way of contacting any of them. Turning back to the book, Sunset thought to herself. “Well if things go bad, maybe i can write my last words to Celestia so she gets some information.” Sunset grimly thought as she levitated toward her. Upon reaching her, Sunset stopped the book's progression with her magic only for the dust to fly into her face.
Coughing and spitting the dust out, Sunset groaned. “Even when you aren’t here you manage to make my day a bit harder.” Sunset murmured as she placed the book into her bag. Looking left and right in the hallway and only seeing the occasional guard, Sunset rushed toward the library.
On the way back to the library, Sunset thought of all the things that she will get to witness in the mirror. The new species she can study or the new ways of magic and technology. The ideas within Sunset's mind were endless, finally reaching the library after running for a few minutes. Sunset looked at the doors within, “Moment of truth!” Sunset mentally said to herself.
Opening the doors of the library Sunsets excited expression turned to one of worry and fear. Before her in the library was Princess Celestia and some royal guards. “Perhaps if you stopped worrying about how Sunset will handle such information about such things, you will be able to connect with her more.” Mrs. Bookworm simply said as she took a sip of the coffee Sunset made for her.
Celestia was sitting next to the librarian, her eyes looking down to the floor as she took a deep breath, “Perhaps you are right… I just want her to have a life. Make friends, learn the power that relying on others could give you.” Celestia said. Both didn’t notice the fearful Sunset at the doorway.
“Maybe I can sneak past them all? No, that's ridiculous! I am no master of stealth and there are royal guards all over the place. What if I return later? Yes that can work- wait for the mirror, the wall to the mirror is still opened! So any nosey guard can simply find it, not only that but the legend says every 30 moons and the night just started. I can’t return later!” Sunset thought to herself as she looked around the place.
“Sunset?” A voice called to her forcing her to focus. Turning to the two motherly figures in her life, Sunset saw a confused Celestia and Mrs. Bookworm staring at her. “Sunset are you alright?” Celestia asked, her worried expression looked at Sunset for a response.
“Y-Yes Princess Celestia. Never could be better.” Sunset said her cool slowly returning as she looked at the area around her. “Just here to get some more books.” Sunset explained while taking her first few steps in.
“I didn’t see you leave. Is everything alright?” Mrs. Bookworm asked Sunset, the young mare stopped in her tracks as she looked at Mrs. Bookworm. Celestia turned to Mrs. Bookworm and then back to Sunset.
“I went to grab my jacket and some more items from my room. I found a new book and was going to get all nighter in. Now if you will excuse me, I will be studying.” Sunset said, trying to finish the conversation right away.
“Oh, i-if you like we can both study together like before!” Celestia asked, her voice sounding hopeful. Sunset turned to Celestia. “Just like the old times! It will be fun I can assure you!”
Sunset gritted her teeth, her anger slowly rising as she turned her head to Celestia, “If you would mind Princess, I would rather do this alone, after all I am not knowledgeable in everything now.” Sunset said. Celestia feels pain at the words coming out of her personal student's mouth.
Walking away from the librarian and the Princess, Sunset focused on only one thing. The mirror. “Sunset…” Mrs. Bookworm called out to the young unicorn. Sunset stopped immediately she turned to Mrs. Bookworm expecting a reprimand, “I think you and Celestia should talk. There are some words on both sides that have been ignored or even silenced. So if you would please, join us, make yourself another cup of coffee and let's talk. Those books will always be there but life is so precious and so short.” Mrs. Bookworm explained, Sunset fell quiet.
Turning around fully to the two, Sunset opened her mouth to speak, “Princess! The mirror has been found!” A royal guard shouted from the second floor of the library. Sunset's eyes opened wide as she looked from the guard to Celestia. The Sun Princess looked at the guard for a second and then toward Sunset. Noticing that she was on the stairs Celestia started to put the pieces together.
Celestia looked to the guard, before she could utter a single word, a magic beam was shot at her. Putting a magical shield up just before it hit her, Celestias eyes turned to that of shock and hurt. Sunset’s horn was still warm from the blast as she turned and ran up the stairs. The guards took off after her, the ones at the bottom of the stairs and those above the stairs went after the unicorn.
Sunset realized that the guards were surrounding her, with little time to think Sunset closed her eyes and used her magic. A magical shield surrounded her as it pushed out. The guards all pushed off the stairs, some fell onto the shelves below others tumbled down the stairs. Sunset continued to run as she made it to the second floor. By this point Celestia took to the sky, instead of flying toward Sunset, Celestia went to the mirror.
Mrs. Bookworm watched in horror as the guards went after Sunset. The library was filled with chaos as Sunset kept running toward the mirror room. Using her magic Sunset forced Celestia's wings to stay open, forcing the princess into a glide back down to the first level. A royal guard member slammed into Sunset, forcing her into a bookshelf, the mare gasped in pain as she felt books fall upon her.
Letting go of Celestia, Sunset looked up at the Royal Guard before her. The guard lifted into his hind legs preparing to slam down onto Sunset, without thinking, Sunset used her magic teleporting herself above the guard. Falling down on him, Sunset saw the guards charging her some from the stairs, others from the second floor.
Sunset shot at one guard, hitting the stallion in the face. The guards looked in shock and then in confusion as they expected one of their comrades to have died. Instead the guard was physically fine. The guard looked at Sunset, slowly seeing her separate into five other Sunsets. All charging at him, he threw a hoof out to strike at Sunset only to hit a guard. He shot a blast at another Sunset. The guard to his right had barely ducked in time to dodge the blast.
Some guards tried to calm the stallion down, forcing him to go to the ground as others ran around them. Turning to run toward the mirror room, Sunset stopped as the royal guards that were on the second floor charged. Celestia slowly rised from the books and shelving that she crashed into due to Sunsets action.
Celestia shook her head, looking around herself, Celestia looked upon the second floor, the guards all charging Sunset. While Sunset defended herself with ease, using levitation to push some guards back, make bookshelves fly at other guards. Shooting spells that brought ponies back to their younger ages, and even pushing some above their age. Celestia watched in horror as Sunset even froze some of the guards with a spell. With every royal guard disposed of, Sunset got closer and closer to her goal. Celestia opened her wings and flew to the sky again.
Sunset was slowly being drained of magic as she fought off the guards. Pushing through the last of the guards, Sunset had to use more physical means but she finally made it past the last of them. Running toward the room, Sunset turned the corner to where the hidden room was only to see Celestia before her. Celestia stood facing Sunset, her horn bright with magic ready to fire off a spell.
The remaining guards had ceased the chase, focusing on recovering and aiding one another after the flurry of magical attacks on their physical bodies and their minds. “Sunset please, you don't know what you are doing! We can still fix this, you can be pardoned for your acts, just please stand down.” Celestia spoke firmly, her eyes still holding hurt as she stared at Sunset.
“Step aside Celestia, I really do not want to hurt you.” Sunset threatened, her threat was a bluff but still sounded true and strong. The Princess looked right through it, her eyes reading Sunset. Her mind preparing for any action as she slowly put her plan into motion.
Celestia magic grabbed hold of the moon and the sun, slowly she pushed them both to move. The weight of the two beings in the sky were more than Celestia could handle for over a few minutes but now was a time of action and Celestia could not fail. “Sunset, I know these last few months have been rough.” Celestia had started, the Moon and the Sun slowly rotated, the time of the night and day were both being speeded up.
“Its been years Celestia!” Sunset shouted to the Princess. Celestia looked confused at Sunset, the expression was all Sunset needed to continue on, “We have not had a decent conversation for over three years! I looked for your guidance, your help and yet you only cared about my studying and the nation's politics!” Sunset accused her heart letting all of the anger she kept inside out,
Celestia looked down to the floor, trying to see if it had been three years since the two have talked thrpough a situation. The truth was there, Celestias mind was only used to seeing time fly, “Sunset… I am sorry,
Mrs. Bookworm had used the other side of the library to climb the stairs, finally reaching the top, Mrs. Bookworm listened into the conversation. “You're not sorry, not really anyway, you just feel guilty. Guilty at the thought that you let so much time go by, that you didn’t spend any with me!” Sunset shouted at Celestia.
Celestia looked at the ground and then at Sunset, “You're not wrong… and i am sorry for that. I didn’t cherish the good times with you and that was my failure as a teacher. As a Princess. But if you enter that world, we won’t be able to help you, I don’t know what will happen on the other side so please. Let’s talk about this! Whatever you are looking for you will not find it there.” Celestia said, trying to persuade the young unicorn.
Sunset looked at Celestia, her eyes serious as she thought of what she could do to get past the Princess. “Sunset, do you remember the first time we met?” Celestia asked the unicorn stopping her in her tracks
“It was so long ago but I cherish the memory as one of the most special ones I could have. You were so young, so joyful and bright. We can return to that! Don’t you want that?” Celestia asked the moon now halfway through its time.
“No… I mean, yes I would but I can’t. There are secrets and things that can help us in that mirror and I want to bring it here.” Sunset explained. Before Celestia could continue Sunset, “If you could please let me see what’s on the other side, I will survive. I know I can, so for once in your life. Please trust in me.”
Celestia looked at the ground, her magic continuing to move the moon and the sun as she started to struggle. “Sunset, those secrets are not for us. We know nothing of the mirror and where it leads. If you go there I don’t know if you could even return.” Celestia stated.
Sunset looked at her teacher, “then that’s a risk I am willing to take.” Sunset started, before she could continue the first few days of the sun shining over the hill hitting Sunset's eyes. Looking at the break of dawn, Sunset looked at the hour glass in the library. The hour class read that it was midnight. “You… lied to me?” Sunset asked quietly, her eyes facing Celestia. The Princess couldn't meet her gaze as she looked guilty. “We finally have a heart to heart moment, a chance to talk to one another and you lied to me?”
Celestia didn’t say a thing as she tried to speed up the moon and the sun but was out of energy to move either. Sunset took the silence as her answer, her hatred and anger rose to the top as she shot a magical blast at Celestia. Before the Princess could block the blast with a spell it made contact with her. She started to shake violently until she froze falling onto the ground and stayed still. “You never trusted me! You… you… ugh!” Sunset shouted at the paralyzed Celestia, her words not being found as she ran toward the mirror.
Upon reaching the mirror, Sunset realized the power within the mirror was drained. “No no no! The moon was supposed to give it energy! It was supposed to let me through!” Sunset shouted as she pounded on the mirror, the little ripple showing her that she was just too late. Behind her Sunset could hear hoof steps approaching the room.Thinking it was Celestia recovering from the spell Sunset started another spell with her horn, her anger pushing her to aim at the pony “What have you done!” Sunset shouted at the approaching pony, her anger stopped as she recognized the face of Mrs. Bookworm.
“Sunset… Can we talk?” Was all Mrs. Bookworm said. Sunset turned to the elder, her head lowered as if to attack but her eyes watering.
Mrs. Bookworm took a step forward, calling Sunset's bluff. Sunset couldn’t make herself shoot a spell at the librarian, the care the librarian gave her and support started to calm the fires of rage and hate turning it into sadness and hurt. Sunset soon was within hooves reach of Mrs. Bookworm, before the elder could say anything, Sunset went in for a hug.
Mrs. Bookworm, though surprised at Sunset's action, didn't push her away. Holding onto the young mare that she grown to see as her own, Mrs. Bookworm only rushed Sunsets mane. “It’s okay… let it out.” Mrs. Bookworm quietly said, Sunsets cries filled the now quiet library.
“I just wanted to show I could help! That I can bring something new to this world and- and that I can be good enough for Celestia’s attention. In the end she didn’t have any faith in me! She never did!” Sunset cried out, pointing her hoof to the Princess. Celestia's eyes watered by the second, the princess knowing that she made things worse.
“Oh Sunset, you are worth their time. You're worth all of our time, I don’t know what you are feeling right now, but please know you are always worth our time. You don't need to prove it to anypony.” Mrs. Bookworm explained to the crying unicorn. “I know Princess Celestia has not been one of the many topics we talk about but I know she cares deeply for you and I also know you care deeply for her.” Mrs. Bookworm explained to the unicorn.
Sunset only sniffled as she wiped the tears from her eyes. “Sunset, finding answers to a problem that isn’t there will not help you or anything else. You must first know what the problem is.” Mrs. Bookworm continued.
Sunset only looked at Mrs. Bookworm, her tested filled eyes blurring her eyes a bit. “It doesn’t matter now. All I wanted to do is now closed off and Celestia will take the mirror away or break it. I can’t continue with my plan. I can’t show every pony a better way to life. Not here…” Sunset said her voice going quieter until she finished
‘Sunset, why the mirror? Why do you think this will help you and Equestria?” Mrs. Bookworm asked Sunset.
Sunset looked at the mare and then back at the mirror. “A universe with nothing known. A universe where time could be different, technology might be more advanced or even a new race or society… the mirror has to lead to somewhere.” Sunset explained, Mrs. Bookworm only listened to the mare.
“How do you not know it won't lead to nothingness or even a hellscape world?” Mrs. Bookworm asked, Sunset turned to her.
“I don’t, but we haven’t gotten this far in society by just asking what ifs… we have to take risks, and if Celestia won’t do it. I will.” Sunset explained to the mare.
Mrs. Bookworm nodded, “Sunset, answer me this, if you go to another universe and find horrifying things within it, how can i know you wont get hurt?” Mrs. Bookworm asked, Sunset opened to respond but stopped thinking about the response carefully.
“If I go to a different world and find a threat I will take care of it with my magic, I am sure the wreckage outside can show you that, but why are you asking me? I can’t go there. Not without the moon.” Sunset said to the librarian. Mrs. Bookworm listened to the response and nodded. Not answering Sunset's question right away, Mrs. Bookworm stood up and turned around.
“The mirror can be powered up in diffrent ways, if you can find a source powerful enough you might be able to reactivate the mirror…” Mrs. Bookworm explained to Sunset, the young unicorn was left speechless and confused, before she could speak, Mrs. Bookworm continued, “You can stay… live in Equestria with us, help Equestria in the now and not in the future. Celestia will pardon you, you can enjoy a life here, have friends and fulfill your life with anything you want to do. This is your choice to make, you are a grown mare and you should be able to choose your life. I will not pressure you or force you but if you choose to go through the mirror promise me one thing.” Mrs. Bookworm said.
Sunset looked at Mrs. Bookworm, her ears folding back as she wasn’t sure what the promise was going to be. “Promise me that you will be safe, that you will learn the ways of friendship and grow in your life.” Mrs. Bookworm stated.
Sunset slowly stood up and nodded, “I promise. Thank you for telling me this.” Sunset simply said as Mrs. Bookworm turned to face the unicorn. The two made one last final embrace, Sunset’s hope rising as she was filled with determination again. Mrs. Bookworm only wanted the best for Sunset and seeing her grow.
After the two let go of the embrace, Mrs. Bookworm headed for the exit, walking toward the paralyzed Princess. Trying to unparalyze Celestia, Sunset knew her time would be short, looking at the mirror Sunset started to focus on the mirror with her magic. Connecting it and using her magic to find a powerful energy force.
Searching across alternate dimensions and universes, Sunset saw many things through the mirror's reflection, universe past universe as Sunset started to worry, none of the universes seemed to have enough power, none seemed to hold any good energy. It was as Sunset started to believe she will never find any suitable power she found something.
Looking into the mirror, Sunset saw two beings that felt they had enough power. They stood on two legs and had a monkey-like body fixture. One had long spiky black hair that went down to his back, a monkey tail wrapped around his waist. He wore some weird armor and an eye piece. The armor was damaged and broken in some parts as he seemed to have been injured.
The other monkey-like being was behind him, though he had spiky black hair, his was significantly shorter than the first. Wearing a beaten orange suit, the man seemed to be holding the first one still. “These might work… is there really no other choice?” Sunset thought to herself.
Behind her Sunset could hear Celestia get up and gasp, turning around Sunset could see the princess start her magic again. “Oh crud! I don't have a choice now!” Sunset shouted as she turned to the mirror again and started to charge her magic.
UNIVERSE 7: PLANET EARTH
Raditz continued to squirm and struggle, the grip that Goku had on him was almost broken, “What's wrong brother, don't you like a brotherly hug?” Goku asked Raditz. The two finally at their limit as Goku grabbed his hands together and Raditz started to weaken Goku's strength more and more.
“Goku! Its ready!” Piccolo shouted, the special attack now at its fullest power. Raditz looked at Piccolo, his eyes widen as he knew his time was up.
“Piccolo! Do it! Do it now!” Goku yelled in pain, Raditz had done a number on his body and even caused Goku to deal with some internal bleeding. It was now or never and Goku was not going to let this last chance get out of his hands.
Raditz turned to the green namekian as he watched in fear. “Kakarot! Your a Saiyan, don’t sacrifice your life for these dogs!” Raditz yelled out, not being able to break free nor persuade his younger to let go Raditz could only resort to begging.
“Goku goodbye…MAKANKŌSAPPŌ!” Piccolo yelled. Throwing his hand out and pointing his middle finger and index ginger out at Goku and Raditz, an energy blast shot out at high speeds. It flew through the air like a drill, spinning around and around. The special attack had reached Goku and Raditz in a blink of an eye.
As Goku closed his eyes waiting for the blast Raditz had his life flash before his eyes. His childhood tournament on planet Vegeta, his mother, and father, the prince and Nappa, and then he remembered his friend Turles.
Equestria: Canterlot Castle
Sunset locked onto the two beings with her magic, lifting her horn up a magical beam shot from the top of the mirror, breaking through reality itself. Though the hole was small it was just enough for the mirror to reach the two. Celestia turned to Sunset, her eyes widened as the mirror activated. Without an ounce of hesitation, Sunset jumped in.
UNIVERSE 7: PLANET EARTH
As the blast shot through the two brothers, Raditz closed his eyes in pain. “Kakarot! Damn-Damn it!” Raditz yelled, Goku chuckled to himself knowing that they have won the fight. Both hit the ground in pain, before anyone could relax. A yellow beam shot down from the sky hitting the two brothers. Piccolo shielded his eyes from the blinding light. Once the light disappeared Piccolo looked ahead of himself, where the two brothers layed, was nothing. Nothing but a symbol of a circle with four stars.

Planet Earth: Equestria
The sky was filled with the stars of the night sky, the people of Canterlot City were walking around. The night was young, people walked around the city, some were in the mall, others were out on the streets enjoying the activities the town had within it. Within Canterlot Gardens, the town's park, no one stood. A yellow light shone from the sky, hitting the ground with a rumble. As fast as it appeared, it had vanished leaving only two kids on the ground.
Raditz layed on the ground, his eyes clenched as his hands held to the grass below him, he waited for the pain to shoot out. To his surprise, Raditz felt fine. Opening his eyes, Raditz looked down to his stomach, no hole was there, no wound was bleeding from below, in fact he felt great. His body feeling stronger than before. “What? How am I alive… wait, my clothes!” Raditz yelled in shock as his clothes had changed significantly.
His lower part of his uniform has now been black sweatpants and his upper half has been changed to a black sleeveless shirt with a brown jacket. Also one red band at his arm, and finally some black shoes. “Where is my saiyan armor! My scouter? What the hell is going on?” Raditz asked as he looked at his clothes. Feeling his tail behind him, he let a small sigh out as he knew it was still there.
“Ow, my head, why is it always my head! At least my body isn’t in pain anymore.” Goku said behind Raditz. Raditz’s anger started to rise. Turning around to punch Goku as hard as he could, Raditz froze.
“Kakarot?” Raditz asked, before him, stood a young man seeming to be in his teens. He looked just like Goku but sounded younger and seemed to be wearing a different attire to the last time he saw Goku.
Goku patted his chest trying to feel the pain of where the blast was supposed to be. “Huh, weird… Maybe I died already. Krillin never said heaven looks like this though.” Goku stated simply.
Raditz watched the younger version of his brother seemingly get up fine than before, Raditz was speechless as he watched his younger brother starting to stretch. By the looks of the two Saiyans, they seem about a year apart from one another as Goku would be the younger brother. “My gi!” Goku yelled as his warrior gi was now a dark blue t-shirt with orange sweat pants and an orange training jacket with the turtle hermit's school symbol in the back and with his new blue running shoes.
“My Gi is different! What happened?” Goku shouted as he was confused and as Goku looked away from his clothes he saw Raditz but younger.
“Raditz? Is… is that you? You're smaller and younger. What did Piccolo do to us?” Goku asked, his confusion snapping Raditz out of his shock. Raditz looked down to himself and realized he was younger, his body not as strong as he was when he arrived on earth.
“What in the hell happened to my body! My strength! My size! What happened! Where is my scouter? I have to contact Prince Vegeta, he would know what to do!” Raditz said as he looked around for the scouter that should have been on his face. After looking for a few seconds, Raditz grumbled and shouted
“Where is that damn scouter? If I don’t find it I won’t be able to contact Prince Vegeta or Nappa! Damn it Kakarot, this is your fault!” Raditz said as he faced his younger brother. Goku had been looking around the area until Raditz yelled at him.
Goku turned to Raditz a bit in fear as he shouted back, “My fault! How is this my fault if anything its yours!” Raditz hadn’t expected Goku to respond with anger as he stepped back for a second.
“We wouldn’t be in this mess if you only just came with me! Now we are stuck in these young bodies! With no scouter, no idea where we are, and worst of all together.” Raditz yelled at his younger brother.
Goku watched Raditz, his older brother getting annoyed by the second, “If you didn’t come to earth to destroy it, maybe we would have had a better time! But you wanted to kill innocents!” Goku said.
Raditz turned to Goku and stepped up to him, looking down at his brother Raditz gritted his teeth, “Don’t get me started, you are a saiyan for damn sake! You were sent there to destroy the world and clear it. That was your mission and you blew it! Now we are stuck here and that Namekian, my ship and everything we had are gone! Hell i am surpised we are still alive, thanks to your idiotic plan!” Raditz shouted at Goku.
Goku’s eyes went wide as he realized his son was now gone, “Gohan… Oh god Gohan!” Goku started to shout as he looked around. Goku looked at Raditz, his anger started to rise. “Do you know what you did! Forcing us to fight, not taking the one chance I gave you to leave! Even putting my son’s life in danger! Do you know what you have done!” Goku shouted at Raditz.
Raditz was quiet, his eyes looking at Goku for a second. The fear and worry Goku had for his son was just like their mothers worry whenever Bardock or Raditz came home bruised and battleworn. Though Raditz wasn’t in the saiyan army at his age, he did see his father return. Many times inches from death only for Gine to nurse him back to health.
Shaking his head from the thought, Raditz stepped back, facing the night sky and crossed his arms.``It’s not my fault you thought sacrificing yourself was a good idea Kakarot. I was willing to take you to the other Saiyans, make you one of the strongest. It was your idea to make your son fatherless, it is your fault he is now with the green one. If you just did what I asked, I would have let your son free, we would have left the planet and become stronger Saiyans. But no, let’s sacrifice all we had and choose to save a halfbreed brat!”
Before Raditz could continue, Goku landed a clean punch to the side of Raditz face. The older brother was pushed to the ground. His eyes wide as he wiped his cheek, blood was left on his hand. The thing that shocked Raditz wasn’t the fact that Goku punched him, it was the amount of strength the punch had, “This power? Where did he get that power from! He couldn’t beat me a few minutes ago but he managed to knock me to the ground…” Raditz said as he looked at his younger brother.
Looking down at Raditz Goku’s expression was that of anger. Raditz shivered as he could see Bardock image aline with Goku. Their expression is the same serious and deadly expression their father wore. “Don’t speak of Gohan.” Goku said his voice serious and cold.
Raditz’s eyes were wide as he shook his head. “It was just this weak body! That’s all, that or he caught me off guard! Of course!” Raditz tried to explain the strength, his bravado slowly rising again as he stood up. “That was a nice hit for Kakarot but a weak one at that! How about you actually fight me like a Saiyans and maybe I will show you what power means!” Raditz said, he spread his feet out and lifted his arms up. His right hand to his side as his left hand a bit away from his chest. Hands opened and ready to fight.
Goku didn’t say a word, his body slowly got into the horse stance he stood in. The two Saiyans were silent for a second, their eyes never leaving one another. Flying at high speeds, Raditz made the first attack as he threw a punch to Goku.
Planet Earth: Canterlot High
Sunset Shimmer first felt the cold floor below her, the hard concrete floor softening her fall. A small grone left her voice as she opened her eyes. The night took some time to adjust to but within seconds Sunset could see again. “Where am I?” Sunset thought to herself.
Looking around, Sunset saw a enormous building before her, a sign nearby read off “Canterlot High School” Sunset looked at the sign for a second, her brain trying to comprehend what she just read.
“Canterlot?” Sunset asked, getting onto all four, Sunset could feel the odd sensation as if her body was not meant to walk on all fours. Looking down at her body Sunsets eyes widened as she stumbled and fell to the ground again. “W-where are my hooves!” Sunset asked no one in particular. Her hands waved before her as she turned them around. Her fingers wiggle back and forth as she felt a shiver within herself.
“What in Celestia's green Terria is this! My hooves, wait what about…” Sunset started to wonder only to look at her feet. Seeing boots on her feet Sunset didn’t know what the items were but could feel the small toes within the boots. Her eyes widen as she couldn’t help but make a small laugh.
“Okay, this is great. This is fine! Yeah… that’s right this is fine!“ Sunset tried to persuade herself to relax and calm herself down. Her eyes darted back and forth to her feet and her hands.
After a few minutes of studying her hands and feet, Sunset brought her focus back again. “I-I need to focus! I must find something new here.” Sunset said to herself in a whisper. Sunset looked at her saddlebags that have now turned into a backpack. Quickly making sure the items were still within Sunset got ready for her next step. Turning to the giant building before her, Sunset got back onto all fours and stumbled toward the door. Getting to the doors, Sunset looked at the door in confusion. Smiling to herself Sunset closed her eyes, using the levitation to try to open the door.
For a second she was focusing, her eyes looking at the door expecting her magical aura to surround the door, but after the door stayed still, Sunset started to worry. “Um, magic… work! Work magic!” Sunset shouted, her eyes looking at the door handle that was a bit higher than usual door handles should be.
Her eyes went to go to the glass to see past it if anyone was inside, catching her own reflection first, Sunset gasped. The first thing she noticed of herself was the missing horn that should be right above her eyes. “My horn… my magic…” Sunset slowly said, her eyes hardly believing what she was seeing. Taking a few steps back Sunset fell down the small set of stairs and pain surrounding her body as she reached the bottom. “Celestia! Mrs. Bookworm.” Sunset managed to say through her pain, stumbling up Sunset quickly ran to the entrance of the mirror.
The statue stood at the front of the school, a horse standing on top of the statue as Sunset reached the bottom. Running at the entrance, Sunset expected to appear in Equestria once more, minutes after she left.
Slamming into the side of the statue, Sunset felt pain all down her left shoulder and her face. Stepping back more out of space than pain, Sunset looked at the mirror. The Statue didn’t ripple or hum with the magical aura. The silence seemingly mocking Sunset in her arrogance.
“Celestia?” Sunset managed to whimper out, realizing that Celestia must have managed to move the sun and moon around but right after she left. “No this isn’t happening! It has to be a dream, a nightmare! This isn’t happening, I don't have any magic, no ability to protect myself! This… this isn't how it was supposed to happen!” Sunset shouted at the statue, as if she was trying to bargain with the inanimate object. The statue only stood tall, not wavering or moving. Sunset looked at the building behind her. “It says Canterlot, so there has to be a Celestia here right! She can help me, maybe magic isn’t gone here! Maybe we use these hands here to have magic. Or- or maybe the horns here don’t grow until the species reaches maturity!” Sunset started to think of theories. Ways to try to calm themselves before anything else.
Looking at the statue, Sunset slowly felt an inner rage rise, “Celestia abandoned me…” A voice in Sunset's head said, her mind trying to connect the events that happened. “She tried to stop me, she didn’t tell me what was here. She moved the sun and the moon after I jumped… She abandoned me!” Sunset thought to herself. Her hand clenched up, her lies that formed in her head showing her a new light. “Celestia didn’t care for me… she got rid of me! She… she abandoned me!” Sunset thought.
“She abandoned me!” Sunset shouted her realization, she lifted her fist and threw it at the statue, making contact Sunset felt the pain eradicating from her knuckles. Looking at her hand she looked back to the statue, blood covering where she punched it. “I don’t need you anymore Celestia.” Was all Sunset said.
Turning around to face the school Sunset started to think of her next step in her mission, it was until she heard footsteps coming from the other side of the statue that Sunset froze and prepared herself for the worst. “Hey is someone there?” A young voice asked. Sunset slowly turned her head to the right to peek out of the right side of the statue. Her eyes went wide when she noticed a bipedal thing looking right back at her.
“Oh shit, hey you scared me. You okay? I was on the phone and heard someone over here. Was worried someone got hurt.” The young man asked. Sunset looked around herself and nodded.
“Y-yes! Everything is fine. Sunset said as she tried to get up on both of her legs. She looked down at her new appendages. Steadying her feet, Sunset slowly brought herself up. Being unsteady and unprepared for the sudden balance. Sunset fell backwards.
Before she could hit the ground, Sunset felt arms wrap around her. Looking from the ground to the thing that caught her, Sunset saw the care he had on his face, he had blue hair and a gamboge skin tone. His eyes looked at Sunset with worry. “You alright?” The young man asked as Sunset nodded slowly.
“Yes… I’m fine, and you?” Sunset asked the young man her head cringing at the question she had just asked and how dumb it would be to ask. The young man helped Sunset stand for a second before trusting that she could stand up. Letting go of her, the man kept his arms close to make sure to catch her again if she couldn’t stand.
“I am fine, but I am more worried about you. What were you doing here all by yourself?” The young man asked Sunset. Sunset looked at the building before her and then at the statue. The man followed her gaze and noticed the blood on the statue. “Are you injured?” The young man asked as he quickly scanned her for any bruises or damages.
It wasn’t hard to see Sunsets knuckles bleeding bits of blood. “This? It’s fine. I just… fell and tried to catch myself… guess I scraped my hand on the way down. Sunset said, trying to shrug off the pain. Clenching her fist, Sunset could feel a big amount of pain on her hand. She looked at her knuckles worried that she broke her hand rose in her mind as she faced the young man. “I was exploring the area, im… new to this area. My name is Sunset Shimmer, what's yours?” Sunset asked the young man.
The young man kept staring at Sunset's hand for a while until Sunset explained what she was doing there. “Oh, I didn’t know a student was going to move here. My name is Flash Sentry, let me be the first student to welcome you to Canterlot High!”
