A future friend

Chapter one

Today, Pip was in the need for adventure, with lots of action involved! But he had another thing on his mind: the mare on the moon. He needed to find Dr.Whooves, roomer has it that this Doctor travels through time! After searching for thirty minutes, he  found him and asked if it was possible to take him to meet the mare on the moon before she became infamous. His face went from glee to shock. "Why would you want to do that?".  Asked Dr. Whooves. "So I can meet this evil doer and beat it at a duel!" "Quite the imagination you have.  Tell you what, if you find a large power source for my new time machine, I will take you to see her." The Doctor had never thought Pip would succeed in finding such a large power source to power the machine, but somehow he had managed to. "Where in Equestria did you get that?" "I found it" he joyfully said "Well, a promise is a promise" the Doctor said not wanting to question who would be laying this kind of stuff around and so Dr. Whooves put a couple of fixes to his time machine. It seemed a bit inefficient, but it will have to do. "Are you sure this will work?" asked Pipsqueak "Yup, it may look out of place, but it works." So  they went back in time to meet the mare on the moon. After getting out of this Devise I felt sicker then when I ate some of those cutie mark crusaders food (they sure are nice but there food isn't). Me and the Doctor found ourselves  at the trial before her banishment. Pipsqueak  saw the mare on the moon, but she wasn't huge nor threatening, actually, she seemed rather small and slightly over his size.This must be a mistake! He pushed through the crowd  to get a better sight and heard princess Celestia "For crimes against Equestria you will be banished to the moon For one thousand years." Pipsqueak pushed even further only to see the Princess her self looking untouched by age despite going back in time roughly around a thousand years ago with eyes filled with agony and sorrow.

"This can't be, this is my only chance to talk to the mare on the moon!" Pipsqueak started to dig his who hoof into the ground in frustration "this is a terrible time to have a duel but I have to do something!" thought Pipsqueak. Pipsqueak about to explode with frustration and couldn't handle it and went with the next idea that came to his mind. Without thinking it over Pipsqueak pushed the mare of the moon out of the spot in which she was standing and took the hit from princess Celestia. I braced my self for excusiating pain and I heard the blast being shot. "Am I dead?" I thought looked around to see everyone staring at me including the princess herself. Embarrassed I looked up to see the Doctor holding me "Please excuse my dear son, he's a bit clumsy" he said with a bit of worry in his voice. Pipsqueak looked confused "wait, but you're not my-" The doctor winked. Celestia looked through the crowd for Nightmare Moon "You are forgiven, just please be more carful next time." "Sorry Princess, I will" I said as I searched the sky for the mare of moon. I saw a small dart of dark blue tearing through the sky. "Uh, father...may I go look around?" asked Pipsqueak. "Sure thing, just don't go too far." he set me down back onto the ground so I fallowed the blue dart in the sky, but it went into a deep forest, Pipsqueak hasitated to go into the woods after hearing about everyfree forest back at Pony ville. "You're not planning on going in there alone, are you?" I jumped in surprise,then turned around "Who are you?"PipSqueak asked "I'm Ink Spots, but you can call me Inky, Ink or what ever you feel like. So did that thing in the sky  bring you here too?" "Yeah" I responded. "Well then, let's go find it!" Inky grabbed Pipsqueaks hoof and dragged me as I tried to get my hooves steps after just being pulled.

We walked into the forest unaware of what lies, and all I could hear was crunching and snapping.  It was it was getting louder, until it lurched over me and Inky.The noise was Nightmare Moon.From afar,you could see Nightmare Moon was sitting up in a tree breaking twigs of from trees. I tried to approach it silently. "Hey maybe we-" "Shhh" I shushed Ink Spots. "We have to be quiet." I said we were close to the monster of the night, but I heard a crack from under my hoof.It was one of her twigs that she had broken! I looked up to see if she had noticed, but she didn't, it continued to break pieces of twigs apart. I made a sigh of relief. "Who goes there!?" said a booming voice. I jumped in surprise,nearly having a heart attack. "Please don't eat me!" Pipsqueak pleaded "Why would I eat you?" it said in a much softer voice then before "I have to go home,see you later" interrupted Ink Spots trying to get out of there so he wouldn't get attacked by Night Mare Moon "Where I'm from people say you gobble little fillies up." said Pipsqueak. "But I am a filly, so how would I be able to eat someone my size?" It said with a half-hearted laugh. "So what are you even doing here,anyways?" "I don't know,I just couldn't stand being near my sister. Anyways, my name is Luna. What's yours?" it- i mean She said (it has become more clear to me that it was a girl "Pipsqueak,but some people call me Pip." Pipsqueak's stomach grumbled. "I'm getting pretty hungry. Want to get a daisy sandwich with me?" "I would love to, but I can't. Remember, my sister?" She said "Hold on, I have an idea. I'll be right back." Pipsqoeak said. He ran back to Canterlot as fast as he could and found the nearest cloth store. "Good thing I brought some bits with me." Pipsqueak grabbed a cloak he noticed in the corner of the store lied a bench and a box of toys, thank Celestia that they have this so poor little ponys won't be bored when their parents go shopping. In there I found a pear of circular glasses with dark lenses, This will work. Pipsqueak ran up to the counter and gave four bits and ran it back to Luna "Here, this is a disguise so you sister won't recognize you." Pipsqueak said, panting. Luna put on the disguise "How do I look?" "Funny, but it Looks good." Luna cheerfully said. "Alright, let's go grab a bite."
