As Mrs. Cake laid there on the bed, the diapered stallion gently nuzzled his way into her side, coaxing a lethargic, congratulatory pat on the head from his wife. Smiling amidst the hazy afterglow, the stallion snuggled up against his wife.
"Love you, mommy," Carrot cooed, kissing his wife on the lips.
"Love you too, little man,” Mrs. Cake smiled, “even if you get a little stinky sometimes and steal mommy’s sweets.”
“I’ll...make a trip to Bon Bon’s tomorrow,” Carrot replied, “I super duper promise.”
Mrs. Cake giggled, her eyes sparkling with amusement. She wrapped her arms around her husband and kissed him on the cheek. "Goodnight, sweetie," she said, "sweet dreams."
"Night mommy!"
