It was a beautiful day in Canterlot. The streets packed with ponies, humans, and every-creature all going to watch the Wonderbolts perform their new routine in the Canterlot airshow. The show didn't start for several hours but already ponies were getting in line and taking their seats to watch the best fliers in Equestria perform at their peak... Especially Rainbow Dash.

All of the Wonderbolts were akin to rockstars, but Rainbow had an exceptionally large following due to her being more of a show-off than the other Wonderbolts.(And having saved the world like six times)

Among the perspective spectators though, there was a human who had come to watch for a different reason... William.

William had alway been a fan of things that were cool, and had developed a fondness for the Wonderbolts fastest flier which quickly turned into an all out crush on the girl. He was here to see the show yes, but his ulterior motive was to garner the attention of Rainbow Dash by using the event as an opportunity to show her his motorcycle. William had managed to secure passage of his bike from Earth, and was certain such a brash and impressive machine would... at the very least, grant him a few minutes of the girl's time.

Parking the fire breathing metal horse outside the stadium, William went inside and took his seat. After about an hour and a half the Wonderbolts took to the field. Everypony watched as they did a ceremonial lap around the track before launching themselves into the sky at speeds dozens of times faster than anything they could achieve on hoof.

William and everypony else watched in awe as the world's most talented fliers performed manuvers that wuld have your average pony passing out. They performed high speed parallel aileron rolls, vertical climbs where they dove and reconverge inches from eachother pulling themselves out feet from the ground. At one point Rainbow and Spitfire made a
sub-sonic flyby mere feet above the spectators heads, in violation of air safety regulations.

The crowd loved them for it. The whole stadium shook of screams and sonic booms for the entirety of the event, and when it was over... rather than land and take a bow for the audience, the group rocketed into the sky at speeds they had never reached in any previous show or training exercize. They climbed higher and higher, further out of view of the spectators.

A eerie silence fell upon the stadium as everyone wondered what they were doing. Everyone looked on in wonder waiting... until a massive explosion of prismatic magic cascaded over the evening sky, a sonic rainboom. Not one but three. This was the finali of their new routine. This was the event they had all been training the entire year for. The Wonderbolts wanted all of Equestria to know what they could do, they wanted this event to make an impact.

When the sound of the massive magical release finally made its way back down to the stadium the entire crowd lost their freaking minds. William screamed with such passion one would think he had just won the UFC welterweight championship. In reality he and everyone there were simply overwhelmed by the magical force those pegasi had just released throughout all of Equestria.
After the thunderous screams had died down the announcer got on the mic.

"Well everypony that was the most amazing thing I've seen in my entire life, and I've lived a loooong time" Celestia declared motioning to the saturated sky. "Let's give a hand to the most amazing group of fliers I've ever had!"

When the applause died down she spoke again. "I know Equestria has seen some dark times, but seeing... that. I know we'll be ok, no matter what."

There was no applause but there were tears, tears of joy. Everypony watched as their leader wiped her eyes as she sun disappeared behind her. "I wish to everypony that this moment would never come to an end, but sadly it has. I hope that these amazing ponies can return next year, and remind every one of us of just how much beauty there can be in this world."
A roaring round of hoof stomping echoed throughout the stadium as Celestia flew out of the field.

Everypony left as the moon slowly rose into the sky. Exiting the stadium William found Rainbow and the other wonderbolts in a mob of ponies begging for autographs. True to her nature Rainbow Dash was more than happy to stroke her ego a bit by signing her name for a few people. William saw this as his chance.

He walked over and hollered at the pretty girl. "Hey! Will you sign my bike?"

William stood out as one of only a few humans to attend the event. Rainbow felt an obligation to give him an autograph or he might not come back next year. "Sure where is it", Rainbow answered pushing her way through the crowd.

"Right over there", William pointed in the direction of his bike to find someone, another human... trying to jump his bike's solenoid with a screwdriver. "Hey! Get the fuck off my bike!", William yelled sprinting toward the thief. Realizing he had been caught the thief quickly jumped the terminals. William heard his beautiful bike roar to life, and watched the cocksucker ride away on his baby. "Get back here you son-of-a..."*FWOOM*

William was rocked as Rainbow roared over his head and after the thief. "Yah get his ass Rainbow!", William cheered watching his crush fly away.

After about half an hour William was starting to doubt weather or not Rainbow was coming back. Sitting on a curb in the empty parking lot, he was ready to give up on life when he heard a thud behind him.

Turning around he saw Rainbow standing behind him with his bike. "This yours?", she asked kicking out the stand and leaning it over.

"Christine!", he exclaimed, running over and inspecting his bike to make sure everything was as it should be. "How did you get her back she weighs like 900lb?"

"I'm pretty tough", Rainbow assured pulling out a marker and putting her John Hancock on the tank. "What is this thing?", Rainbow asked moving the handelbars around. "Some kind of super bike?"

"It's my motorcycle"

"Well it sounds cool", Rainbow remarked walking around the strange machine.

"You like the way it sounds huh?", William asked as he stood up and stuck the key in. Taking a seat he pressed the ignition and his baby roared to life once more and he gave it a quick rev.

*Whoom*

"That's really cool", Rainbow praised as William killed the engine.

"Glad you like it. Now what did you do to the dirtbag that tried to steal her?"
