He sighed to himself. ‘Same shit, just a different day’ he thought as he looked about the market.
After the outbreak New York was one of the first places to fall, more infected here than most of the coast.
There was a few places that held survivors, Rustington as the place he was at is called, was one of the largest in
the area.
Alistair looked about in the chaos that was the market, nothing looked off until he saw the crowd around a meat
market.
Being the curious type he walked over to investigate. What he saw made his jaw drop, behind the counter the stall
owner was trying to sell 3 ponies to someone who wanted fresh meat. There was a huge bid going on for just how
much the ponies were going to sell for, that wasn’t what got his attention though.
It was the fact that the ponies shouldn’t be real, one unicorn and two pegasi. ‘Well holy shit...’ He brought his hand
to his forehead, ‘they should not even be real, and most of these people don't even know that. They just think that
they are animals for food...’
He shook his head and forced his way through the crowd ‘there is no way in hell I am going to let something from
myth end up on a fire pit as dinner.’
When he reached the stall counter he stood and waited. The owner noticed him, his eyes bulged and was there in
an instant.
“Well, well... what can I do for you sir?” his grin wide.
Al merely snorted and looked toward the ponies, “How much for the three?”
“For all three there is going to be... a high price...” the shopkeepers grin grew.
Al just merely blinked, grabbed the gun on his back, and slammed it on the table. The entire crowd grew silent at
the sight of the gun.
“Is this enough? Its an M2 Browning Heavy Machine Gun fitted with a heavy barrel and a custom box mag that
has one hundred rounds already in it. This for all three” he cocked a grin as the crowd turned to look at the now
nervous looking stall owner.
“S-sorry, y-you're going to have to g-go higher” he was sweating hard.
Al shrugged and grabbed the gun, “Ok then, I'll just take my business elsewhere...” he made to leave but stopped
as the stall keeper yelled.
“NO! No, all three for the gun and ammo, I will even throw a trailer in with it. Deal?”
Al couldn’t help but grin as he turned around and put the gun back on the table, “Deal”
The stall keeper squealed and quickly put the three ponies onto a trailer. He gave a rope attached to a trailer with
all three on it to his grinning customer.
“Here you are, it was a pleasure doing buisness with you.”
Al took the rope and smiled, “The pleasure was all mine.”
He got many looks as he made his way though Rustington, but he didn't care. What he did care about was getting
the three ponies back to his farm outside of town.
‘Just how are there not just one, but THREE different creatures that are only a myth! This doesn’t make sense,
they shouldn't be here. If only I had some tech from my dads old lab, too bad the bridge collapsed not too long
ago. There was...’
“Ah, Saviour. You will find that your car already ready to go.” the gatekeeper smiled as he watched Al jump.
“Oh, um, thanks for keeping an eye on it for me. hehe...” he scratched his head from embarrassment.
He swiftly hooked the trailer up and secured it, ‘wouldn’t want my live cargo to go off into a horde of zombies’ he
thought to himself as he finished checking the trailer. He started his old car with a roar, went to the trunk, and
opened it.
“Okay, now to get out my stuff for the trip home...” he muttered.
“First off, my magnums, then my shotguns, and... ah, my ever faithful long rifle. Don’t forget the blades and I
already have my hatchet on me so that just leaves the music” he shut the trunk with a slam.
He casually walked to the driver side and got in.
“I am feeling a little... old school...” he said with a smirk and began scrolling through the music library in the car.
“Ah, here we are. Just what I needed... Metallica... too bad this style of music isn't around anymore.”

He revved the car a few times before putting the car into first to get the heavy vehicle moving.
“Man, driving in New York just ain't the same when most of the population got zombified... a lot less people, and
flying cars. I never did like those, it's not a car if it ain't got tires on it. Now my car is what a car should be, haha, a
Charger Daytona... then again it's not exactly stock either... -sigh- I am talking to myself again aren't I.
Really should stop doing that.”
He turned onto the highway to head for home after making his way through the city, “There wasn't that many
zombies this go’round, kinda sad really. I always find it fun to hit them with a car thats pushing thirty-five
hundred pounds, makes it hard to drive though... even with all wheel drive, over a thousand horsepower,
over nine-hundred foot pounds of torque, and I am talking to myself again. Need to stop that... makes me look crazy...
ah who am I kidding, I'm already crazy.”
He looked at the speedometer to see that is said 45mph.
“Why am I going that slow? I am on a highway. I shouldn’t be going that slow... Wait, I don't know just how much
that trailer can handle. Well, shit stain. It's going to take me three hours to get home at this rate. Man, I really was
hoping to get home, do the daily stuff, and make a good dinner. I might be able to still do that though... really need
to stop talking to myself, I say it at least twenty times a day and yet I still do it. -sigh- whatever...”
There are a few things I would like to say. First, any and all advise would be very much appreciated since I am not very good at writing. With that said, I need some ideas for a pic (can't draw either). If anybody is willing to proof read for me I would be very thankful. Also, more will be revealed about what all he has later... but you will have to wait
