“This is ENN Breaking News!”
“Welcome back to ENN and we have breaking news coming in from San Franciscolt, the mysterious creature known as Godzilla has defeated the two creatures now identified as MUTOS, Massive Unidentified Terrestrial Organisms. After awakening from the battle, Godzilla went back to the ocean with many witnesses giving him the title of King of the Monsters. Until further speculation, it is unclear whether Godzilla means to protect humanity or to destroy us.”
On her television, Sunset Shimmer looked at the news broadcast as her apartment was old and ragged as a couple of dufflebags were beside her chair as she watched the news with peculiar interest. “Equestria never had creatures of this proportions!” She exclaimed in shock as video footage showed Godzilla taking on the two MUTOS and his now identified weapon known as the Atomic Breath.
She opened her dufflebag and pulled out a picture of her along with her parents as she gripped it angrily before throwing it across the room before it hit the wall and fell behind the couch.
Sunset sighed angrily before looking at the footage of Godzilla with determination.
“Oh just you wait Celestia, you’ll see why I should’ve been made into an alicorn.”
Another Location
At a local animal shelter, Fluttershy along with the rest of the animals were watching the same broadcast as she looked in fear at the ferocity Godzilla portrayed upon the city and the sheer damage. Tears filled her eyes when they announced the death count and it was now at 135 people died in the fight between the titans.
A squirrel chattered as Fluttershy petted its head, “I know, all those people are… dead.”
Angel the Rabbit hopped onto her lap and snuggled up as Fluttershy glared at Godzilla last sighting which was of him going into the ocean. Animals had a hierarchy and Godzilla has declared that he was the top dog of them all but has no heart to who gets hurt in his battles and this was something Fluttershy will not stand for.
Another Location
The broadcast was still going on as a soccer ball was being kicked around Rainbow Dash’s room as the athlete looked at the news and saw Godzilla absolutely destroying the MUTOS as he tail slapped one of them into a building.
“That…was… AWESOME!!!” Rainbow Dash shouted in excitement as she watched Godzilla practically wrecked the second MUTO with his atomic breath and she watched in awe at the sheer strength Godzilla was capable of. Her door opened and Applejack and Pinkie Pie came in holding some pizza boxes and a couple of sodas.
“What in tarnation are ya yellin about?!” Applejack asked, setting the sodas down.
“Have you seen the news with this guy called Godzilla?!” Rainbow Dash yelled as she jumped in excitement and grabbed Applejack’s shoulders and shook her, “He’s so cool!!!”
“I know right! He saved San Fraciscolt!” Pinkie Pie cheered as she jumped up and down and Applejack forced Rainbow Dash to stop shaking her as she looked at the news with a slight look of irritation on her face.
“Ah don’t know, this Godzilla fella saved the day but not without consequences.”
“What do you mean? Look at those things, there absolutely destroyed!!!”
“Ya but that fella destroyed much of the city in that fight.”
“So?!”
“Whaddya mean ‘So’?!”
Pinkie Pie interrupted them as the both of them were practically butting heads with angry faces on both of them as they both glared at Pinkie who had two slices of cheese pizza in her hands and she held them out to them, “Smile a bit!!!”
Rainbow Dash and Applejack stared at the pizza before they both sighed and took the slices before sitting down on some beanbags and looked at the television as the broadcast continued and doesn’t look like to be ending anytime soon.
Another Location
In her elegant room, clothes were neatly packed and sketches were drawn as Rarity worked on her latest project as the television in her room was also on and she looked at the broadcast as she did her work and saw what Godzilla was truly capable of.
“My what a stylish looking creature with spikes although…. Looks a bit tacky.” She remarked before focusing on her work before a suspenseful sound was heard as she turned to look and saw Godzilla using his Atomic Breath on the MUTO and her eyes lit up in fascination at the design of the colors.
“Oh my word, the colors! I got just the idea!” She ran to her closet to fetch her materials as the broadcast not only sounded in her room but all over the world as people of all types watched the news and saw Godzilla’s fight in San Francscolt.
News Broadcast
“It would seem that Godzilla is here to defend us from threats that we cannot handle and we tried reaching out to the Government or Monarch to try and see if any other monsters have risen under our noses but they refuse to give any comments about this situation. It would seem that this has been the first monster appearance and probably will not be the last time we see Godzilla so what do we do? Considering the damage Godzilla has caused with his fight with these MUTOs, many people will be divided over the issue whether he is here to save us or destory us.”
“It’s safe to assume that Godzilla is probably not the only monster out there, dwelling in the depths of our planet, there could be more creatures out there probably worse than these MUTO’s and can probably deal more damage to us than before. Our world will never be the same as these Titans are rising and with Godzilla being living proof of this then chances are this will most likely happen so please I ask everyone, to be careful where you go and stay with us on ENN incase anything happens.”
“I’ll tell you this, Godzilla better be here to save us because if he isn’t then….”

Chapter 2: Attack on Canterlot City
Four Months Later
2014
Canterlot City
Canterlot High was in full effect after the events of San Franciscolt and now everyone was talking about Godzilla and the battle that he was apart of. Almost everyone at the school wore Godzilla themed merchandise as they chatted about their favorite titan. Rainbow Dash was among the most popular as she expressed her enthusiasm about Godzilla.
“Godzilla is the most awesome creature ever!” She yelled as students in the hallway yelled the cry with happiness before the bell rang and forced the students to go to class and not to be late for class.
Applebloom found herself in her third period class which was Science Class as she groaned in boredom until she looked at the board lazily as she saw the DNA Sequences of Apes but the board especially focused on the Silverback Gorilla as the apple sibling’s face lightened a little bit as this was a topic that she enjoyed learning about.
“Applebloom, you’re staring again.”
She snapped out of it as she looked at her friend to the left of her, Scootaloo and she was wearing a very obvious Godzilla themed shirt as she looked at Applebloom with a bored look on her face.
“No A’m not.”
Scootaloo rolled her eyes, “You do this everytime you see something related to apes.”
“Apes are cool!” Applebloom spread her arms to prove her point.
“Uh well Godzilla is cooler, he has the Atomic Breath, apes don’t got that.” Scootaloo mimicked a monkey scratching their armpit while making the ‘Ooo aaa” noise as some students look at her confused.
“Grrr, Apes are stronger!”
“You’re acting like there’s a giant ape in this world, there isn’t.”
“If Godzilla exists then there has to be one.”
“Dream on Applebloom.”
“Are you two girls done yet?”
They both looked and saw that their Science Teacher, Mr Cranky Doodle, entered the classroom and was in his chair, glaring at them as Scootaloo nodded her head, “Yeah we’re done.”
Mr Cranky Doodle looked at her and raised his eyebrow, “Bah I already know that’s not true with you Godzilla folk going around and parading like there is no tomorrow.”
Scootaloo’s face flushed in embarrassment as some of the students chuckled as Mr Cranky Doodle began teaching the class about the Silverback Gorilla and what exactly it is capable of as Applebloom paid attention as Scootaloo began drawing in her notebook.
Applebloom knew the basics of Silverbacks as they were powerful apes and can lift up to 10 times their body weight as the teacher went over the basics of a gorilla’s DNA. She felt a tap on her arm and looked at Scootaloo as she showed her a drawing of Godzilla blasting a monkey to ash as the Rainbow Dash fan grinned smugly.
Frustration entered Applebloom’s head but she remained calm as she continued to pay attention to the board as the teacher went over the muscle structure of a Silverback. Time went on as they completed a couple of assignments before it was time to leave the class but the bell didn’t ring but instead an announcement from Principal Celestia came through.
“Students and Staff, please remain in your classrooms until we give permission for you to dismiss, thank you.”
Mr Cranky Doodle grunted before pulling out a textbook, “Well you heard the principal, now turn to Page 39 and answer the questions on that page.” Everyone groaned at that and begin to take out there notebooks to begin the assignment but none of them knew how much trouble they were actually in.
Pacific Ocean
The ocean was vast and deep and filled with mysteries that are still undiscovered as animals swam through in harmony as the food chain of life sustained the dark ocean. Godzilla, the Titan of 2014, swam through the depths as his mind was focused on maintaining order in this world through any means necessary. A pod of whales swam by his face as he looked at the graceful creatures as they bowed to him in respect as the massive behemoth swam through the depths.
Suddenly, his mind went off like a flare gun as his danger sense went to the highest alert as his pupils narrowed in anger as he changed direction from North to West instantly and this wasn’t no ordinary alarm trigger.
Something big and something that can disrupt his status as King has awakened and was an Alpha Titan. Roaring under water, Godzilla increased his speed to 40 knots as he sped towards his destination as he felt the Titan shake the Earth and the tectonic plates itself were shifting as if they were under control by the Titan.
Godzilla couldn’t let this Titan live at all and sped up to his destination… which was Canterlot City.
Canterlot City
The city was bustling with people as they went to the mall hung out at the park or just simply went to a restaurant to eat as they laughed and gossiped about life and the perks of being who you are. Everyone was doing fine until suddenly the ground beneath them shook as if something heavy stomped on the Earth, making everyone freeze in horror.
It was quiet before a loud groan was heard as a block of buildings rose up and down like they were on an ocean wave as the pavement cracked and broke up into chunks as people began screaming and running as suddenly a massive fist shot out from the ground and it was about 280ft long with massive claws as the skin on it glowed orange with power.
Grabbing the building close to it, the arm flexed as if its pulling its body upward and another fist emerged and eclipsed the sun. A couple of people stopped and looked at the massive limb before they screamed as the arm slammed down on top of them causing blood to splatter all over the street. Pulling and flexing the impressive muscles on its arms, its body erupted from the gap between the arms and its glowing orange eyes narrowed in anger as the massive titan shook off the debris on itself before roaring to the heavens in anger.
The massive creature stopped screeching before glaring down at the fleeing humans before taking a deep breath and released a loud scream that blew apart anyone in the path of it as bodies exploded instantly as the shockwave shattered buildings and debris went flying into the air and to the South.
In Canterlot High, everyone remained in their classrooms until they heard the roar of the Titan which made them cover their ears at the sheer volume of it. Applebloom closed her eyes as the roar continued and then it stopped as she gasped and looked at Scootaloo who looked at the window in horror.
“What is that?!”
All the students in the classroom rushed to the window as Mr Cranky Doodle rushed to the window and looked outside and saw massive amounts of debris high in the air and was about to crash on top of them.
“EVERYONE GET OUT NOW, NOW, NOW!!!” He yelled as the students ran to the door, opened it and joined the rest of the students as they ran down the hallways with the teachers directing them to the Exit. A couple of students lingered as they were Applejack and Rarity as they were looking for their sisters.
“APPLEBLOOM?! SWEETIE BELLE?!”
They cried over and over but they couldn’t see their siblings at all before suddenly at the far end of the hallway, a chunk of rock landed and collapsed half of the school but luckily everyone evacuated just in time as the two friends rushed out outside along with the teachers as they gestured for the students to keep on running and to head for the buses. The students tumbled over each other to get on the buses as they climbed on hurriedly and not before long, everyone was one and the buses drove off.
After about six minutes of driving, everyone in Canterlot High was on a hill overlooking the city as they all were staring at the enormous crater that now occupied their city and the massive titan that was tromping down buildings like they were legos.
“What is that?!” Scootaloo yelled in horror as she watched the creature punch a building and it shattered like glass as every step it took shook the Earth.
“Ah…ah d-don’t know.” Applebloom replied as she panted for air while also looking at the sight as most of the students got out their phones and recorded before they felt someone hug them from behind.
“Thank goodness you guys are alright!” Sweetie Belle said with tears in her eyes as the CMC embraced each other happily before they heard Applejack yell, “GIRLS!!!” They looked to see Applejack, Rainbow Dash and Rarity running towards them and hugging them while crying.
Not far away, Pinkie Pie met up with Trixie and Fluttershy as they watched the monster rampage through the city.
“W-what is t-that?” Fluttershy said with her voice trembling.
“It looks a MUTO but… bigger.” Trixie said.
“Maybe Godzilla can beat it!” Pinkie Pie yelled with enthusiasm.
“Trixie sees no Godzilla in her sight.”
Suddenly, the giant MUTO turned its head to the South as it roared defensively as loud stomps were heard and growling shot through the quiet atmosphere as from behind one of the mountains, Godzilla emerged with anger evidently clear in his eyes as he glared at the MUTO.
“I see a Godzilla in my sight.” Pinkie Pie said as Godzilla unleashed his battle roar.
