NCIS Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs, accompanied by his team, Dr. Mallard, ME-Assistant Palmer, and Forensic Expert Abby Sciuto, are sent to Equestria in order to assist with a critical case. A US Marine Lance Corporal, who was leading a joint American and Equestrian Navy improvement program, was attacked and left for dead outside the Equestrian Navy’s main shipyard.

With two respective governments behind them, The team sets to work and soon unravels a vast conspiracy that will take them from the South Sea naval yard, to the town of Ponyville, and all the way to the ivory and gold-clad towers of Canterlot. With plenty of known allies and unknown enemies, there’s plenty of work to be done…and Gibbs and his team are just the ones to do it.
