Red eyed stranger
Part 8

She found the door again.
Luna was unsure if she wanted to peer into the mind of this 'human' again.
But lately, her sister has been rather... unreasonable.
At first, she thought it was the whole Stormking incident.
Being frozen in that magic crystal wasn't at all a present experience, when it began to crawl over your flesh the black crystal would burn at it before closing around your mind. Consuming you into the darkness... Luna knew the darkness all too well, you can say she was born into it.
Yet her sister and niece only knew the light, Cadance had felt the touch of the darkness thanks to Sombra but her sister?
Only a few times has she used dark magic but it was only for a moment and it would harm her physically, to her the darkness was like poison. Being imprisoned in that crystal wasn't easy for Luna to be in either, but she had spent the past 1,000 years within her own personal darkness and after the elements saved her she learned to handle it.
So when she was imprisoned she held back the dark magic of her crystal prison from her mind, while imprison she could only think of how easily they were taken by storm by a single pony. Yet she was so focused on how weak the military of Equestria was she was blindsided by the fact of her sister's actions.
She should have said something when her sister moved Equestria forces into occupying the form Stormking empire but only when this new door opened did she really get to see what was going on. This 'human' stepped in and everything got a smack to the face...
Her sister is focused on expanding and even trying to arrest this human for 'trespassing' on Equestria territory even though the 'human' was in the thick of no-man's land. After what happened with the diplomat and the elements?
Her sister was about to march an entire invasion force into the badlands to take out this settlement, if not for Luna talking her out of it.
Even though she spoke just days about how humans have waged war for centuries non-stop! During her time in the mirror world as 'vice-principle Luna' she looked into the history books of human civilization, and almost every chapter in their life held a war.
Her mind still shivered at the weapon the humans used known as the 'Atom Bomb'.
She need to find a way to calm things down, yes she wanted to try and revive the military of the equestrian army but having the entire army including her knights thrown into the dry 'No-Man's land' without proper training or equipment only for them to be slaughter? Leaving Equestria open to invasion by any diamond dog warlord or one of the enemies of equestrian waiting for the golden chance to strike.
First, she need to find a way to contact this human... right now this human could be a very powerful enemy if she didn't step forward. Hopefully, he would show the same mercy he did to 'Salt-Upon-Wounds' if she remembered correctly.
Opening the door Luna almost gasped at the sight of what she saw...
"By mother's mane,"
The legate crawled on his side...
The bane of the bear...
Monster of the East...
Butcher of Rangers...
Caeser's right hand...
The avatar of war was trying to get away.
Surrounded by his dead guard the former fearless warlord was now crawling trying to get away from the red-eyed courier that slowly walked over to the gold armor brute. Six put his police pistol away before walking over to the Legate and looking down at the beaten monster groveling at his feet.
The featureless face of the golden mask that terrified countless hardened NCR rangers didn't seem so scary to the courier.
Kicking the Legate on his wounded side the bane of the west cried out in pain before clenching his wound.
"I got to be honest... I really excepted this to go down differently... but not the way you think," The courier crouched down to the legate. "I really thought this fight was going to take everything I had to take you down... but all it took was a few hits and your whimpering like a puppy,"
"AGHHHH!" The Legate threw out his fist to try and clock the Courier's riot helmet but six casually caught the attack with his hand.
"Okay, I'll give you that one... I may need buffout to match your strength but that's it," The courier then began to close his hand causing the bones in the Legate's hand to break.
His body wasn't as strong even with the cybernetics from the big empty but with a mixture of Buffout and a special cocktail he learned from a pre-war war ghoul. Six wasn't taking any chances with this entire fight, he had pull every string he could pull for this final battle at Hoover damn.
From getting all the tribes to pull their weight into pushing the Legion back to pumping his entire body any chem he had on him to finally cripple the legion and kill its remaining leader.
Six had pulled the: 'Frank Horrigan special' but he was now thinking this entire thing was unneeded, from using Esther with high yield mini-nukes to High-Ex rockets to deal with the large groups of the bunched-up legion and for those who were hand-to-hand with NCR soldiers they were dealt with 12.7 hollow points from Randall Clark's old rifle.
Was it overkill?
No... Six hated the legion with every fiber of his being.
To him, it wasn't enough kill.
He already killed Caeser after killing the entire legion force at the Fort, Six just walked right into Caeser's tent with ED-E at his right and good ol' Boone to his left.
All it took was a single high explosive missile for the old man.
For the legate?
Just a few regular bullets.
Letting the golden butcher go causing him to clench his mangled hand while howling in anguish, Six reached down before grabbing the mask of the legate off from the man's face and for once the legate could do nothing about it.
Pulling the mask up into the air the courier looked down at the Legate who couldn't hide his fear behind his mask anymore.
Six brought the butcher's own mask down upon his face, hitting it once, then twice, then three times, and...
Again.
And again.
and again.
And again.
And again.
Until someone grabbed his shoulder.
"That's enough!" The courier snarled before turning away in a chem-filled rage to around.
Expecting to see Boone the courier blinked in confusion to see a midnight color equine pony, confused for a moment the courier then realized what was happening.
This was a dream...
"Yeah, I don't remember this happening... that's kinda weird never seen you in my life before," Six stated casually ignoring the fact of the 'dream copy' of the legate that was dead at his feet. "Hmmmm though why would I be thinking about one of you guys?"
Six-eyed the midnight-colored pony, while the Equine held a look of totally baffled at how casually Six would act after banishing a man's head in with his own helmet.
"Though you look kinda cute though in a certain way..." Six said to himself before realizing what he just said. "Damn did I really just say that?"
Luna blushed slightly but then cleared her throat.
"I am not a figment of your imagination human I am real... my name is-"
"And there is that... man that purple pony really must have to affect my subconscious..." Six interrupted before gently touching her mane. "Though this looks so much like the star nights from Zion,"
Blushing again the courier then began to gently pet her mane before clearing her voice and swatting his hand away.
"Look human I don't have enough time of this before you awaken and-"
"Whoa! Man, this is weird! Wait didn't Mobius have a book on dreams? What was it called?" While the courier held his chin the entire battle of hoover dam was changed into an entire library of books. "Brain dreaming? No that's not it..."
"Excuse me! I am not a dream that your subconscious created I am-"
"Though your voice does sound familiar but I never think I have heard it before I think I-"
"HUMAN LISTEN TO ME!"
The pony shouted this time she interrupted the courier's words but when she did music shouted out.
(Morning)

Six yawned at ED-E's wake-up call causing the courier to get away.
"Thanks, buddy... that dream was starting to get weird," Six got up out of bed popping his neck before walking passed by the five helmets that sat next to the courier's snowglobe collection.
Going over to start his daily morning route the courier began to start my warm-up.
Author's Note
Sorry for the shortness but happy 4th of July guys...
(Really cutting it close here but hey better late than never)
Again sorry for it to be short...
But the way am I not the only one who collected all the marked beast helmets from the lonesome road and put them on display at one of my player homes? (I would always put my 'trophies' in the sink, I put the helmets next to the toaster not as he can burn them)
Also here is an easy guide to finding all the snow globes:

Till then guys see you in the next one...
Again it's an American holiday so sorry for the shortness, but what are your thoughts.
I do try to read them all.
