Chapters Austin and the Young Six’s Kanto Adventure
Austin opened his door as a new day awaited for him, until he stepped on something on and made a crunching sound under his foot. He looked down and noticed a piece of paper lying on the floor. He picked it up and noticed it was an envelope with his name written on it. He notice another name written underneath his name.
Professor Oak? Why does that name sound familiar? Austin thought to himself.
He opened the envelope and saw a piece of paper. He slowly took out the paper out of the envelope and unfolded the paper.
Dear Austin,
You may not remember me, but I was a friend of your parents. I’ve heard of your parents unfortunate passing, I’m very sorry about your loss. Now that you are ten years old, I thought to give you an opportunity. An opportunity to catch them all. That’s right, I’m giving you an opportunity to become a Pokémon trainer. If you agree to become a Pokémon trainer, come by to my lab in the Kanto region. You can also bring along some friends if you wish. Can’t wait to hear from you soon.
Your old friend, Professor Oak.
“Hmm, Pokemon trainer? Kanto region?” Austin said confusedly. “Hey Wingdings, are you awake?”
“Yes, I’m awake,” Wingdings said as he manifested out of Austin’s body. “What do you need?”
“Do you know anyone or any pony named Professor Oak?”
“Ah yes, I know Professor Oak. You used to go to his lab to play with the Pokémon with your… parents.”
“Oh… I think I’m remembering now. But this was a while back, how do you know all that when I was at a young age?”
“Well, since I am bound to your body, I see all your memories.”
“That makes sense.”
“why do you ask?”
“Well, I got this letter from him, though I’m not sure how he got it here, and since he knows that I’m ten, he wanted to know if I wanted to be a Pokémon trainer.”
“A Pokémon trainer you say? Why don’t you try it, we haven’t gone on an adventure in a while.”
“Are you sure? What would momma Celestia and momma Luna think about it?”
“I’m sure they will allow it. As long as I’m here, they should allow you to go.”
“Well… I guess it’s worth a try.”
“Alright, let’s see if Celestia and Luna would agree on it.”
“Okay Wingdings. I have a feeling they might be in the throne room.”
“Well, lets search their then.”
“Okay.”
Austin and Wingdings left their bedroom and went into a hallway. They made it to the throne room doors and opened them. They went inside the throne room and saw Celestia and Luna sitting on their thrones, reading scrolls. Celestia looked down at her scroll and noticed Austin and Wingdings were standing near their thrones.
“Good morning Austin, good morning Wingdings. Did you two sleep well?” Celestia asked the two.
“Yeah, I had a good sleep.” Austin replied.
“I too slept good, thank you for asking.” Wingdings said to Celestia.
“I’m glad you had a good sleep. Is their something you need?” Celestia asked.
“I’ve found a letter from a person that used to be friends with my… parents, saying that since I’m ten years old, he offered me to be a Pokémon trainer.” Austin explained.
“A Pokemon trainer? What is that?”
“I’m… not sure exactly. Wingdings, do you really know what they are?”
“Well I know a little bit of it during your memories. Your parents and the person who sent the letter, Professor Oak, were talking about Austin being a Pokemon trainer when he gets to ten, explaining that you can becomes friends with creatures called Pokémon. You can train them to be stronger, fight other trainers Pokémon, and do other things, but that’s the only stuff I know at the moment.”
“Hmm, that sounds pretty interesting and fun,” Celestia said. “So you came here to ask for permission to become a Pokémon trainer?”
“Yeah, we wanted to ask if we can. So… can we?” Austin asked Celestia.
“Well if that’s what you would like to do, go ahead, we won’t stop you.”
“Yeah, as long as you are going to have fun, we won’t say otherwise.” Luna said to Austin.
“Well, Wingdings, do you want to?” Austin asked Wingdings.
“It does sound pretty fun, plus I can study these Pokémon to understand them better.”
“We can also bring along friends, as it says on this letter.” Austin said as he lifted to Celestia.
Celestia used her magic to lift the letter to her and Luna. They began to read the letter for a minute and looked back at Austin.
“Well we would love to go… but we have responsibilities to keep Canterlot under control with demands and meetings, discussing many concerning topics in different parts of Equestria. I’m very sorry Austin.” Celestia said sadly.
“I understand, I know you two are very busy with you work, maybe I can find others that might want to come.” Austin said to Celestia.
“May I suggest some ponies to you. What about the Young Six that you made friends with at Twilight’s school?”
“Oh yeah! Maybe they want to go. I can go asked them.”
“We will wait here for you to return dear.”
“Do you want to take a shortcut?” Wingdings asked Austin.
“It would be faster, yeah let’s go that.” Austin said to Wingdings.
“Very well then, we will be back with some result of whether they come or not.”
“We will be here for when you return.”
Austin and Wingdings nodded and started to leave. As they went passed the throne room, they were surrounded by shadow and disappeared.
They reappeared at Twilights school as the Young Six were leaving the school. Austin and Wingdings walked over to them and waved at them, which they waved back.
“Hey Austin, hey Wingdings, what’s up?” Sandbar said to Austin.
“Hey guys, I have a question to ask you.” Austin said to the Young Six.
“Sure, what it is?” Silverstream said.
“How would you guys like to become… Pokémon trainers?”
“Pokemon trainers? What’s that?”
“It’s where we pick creatures called Pokémon, we train them to be stronger, and fight other Pokémon trainers Pokémon. It will be like an adventure for us.”
“An adventure? We haven’t gone on one in a while now,” Sandbar said to the others. “What do you guys think?”
“Meh, why not, this summer is going to be boring anyways, so might as well.” Gallus said.
“Uhh… s-sure, I would like to go too.” Ocellus said shyly.
“Count me in .” Sandbar said.
“I would love to!” Silverstream said excitedly.
“Sure, it might be fun.” Smolder said.
“I would also like to go as well.” Yona said.
“Great, I suggests packing some things for the adventure, and should we meet back here or to Celestia’s castle?” Wingdings said to the group.
“We can meet back here, if you want to.” Sandbar said to Wingdings.
“Very well then. We will be here in a hour, that should you give you all plenty of time to get some stuff packed if you want.”
“Okay.” The Young Six said to Wingdings.
“Okay, see you guys soon.” Austin said to the Young Six.
“See you later.”
Just then Austin and Wingdings was surrounded by shadow again and disappeared into thin air. Austin and Wingdings reappeared back to the throne room, where Celestia and Luna waited patiently for them.
“You we’re gone for a little while, I assume they agreed?” Celestia asked the two.
“Indeed, we will be meeting them back in an hour.” Wingdings said to Celestia.
“Oh, okay. How long do you think your adventure will be?”
“Well, it’s an adventure, so we don’t really know. It could take months.”
“I… see, well… we will still be here until you arrive back here after your adventure.”
“Well, we won’t be leaving in an hour, so you won’t have to be so worried.”
“I’m not worried, I’m happy that you two are going on a adventure.”
“I can see the worry in your eyes. Not to worry, I will be supervising them, so I’ll make sure they won’t get themselves in trouble.”
“I know you will, I won’t be worried.”
“Very well then, Austin, we don’t really have much time left. Pack some stuff you think will be essential like clothes and other stuff.” Wingdings said to Austin.
“Okay Wingdings, I’ll be back soon.” Austin said as he ran off back to his room.
Austin went into his bedroom and saw a pack back that he used for going to elementary school in Ponyville since he was not old enough to be in Twilight’s school yet. Austin started to pack some stuff. He packed the body armour that Tempest made for him, the red cape that Sweetie Belle, a cowboy hat that Applejack gave, the whole series of Daring Do that Twilight gave to him and the hat that Rarity gave to him as well. He also packed more clothing for his adventure. He closed up his pack back and put it on his back. He went over to the door, opened the door and left his room. He went to the hallway and made it back to the throne room. He opened the door and saw that Wingdings has some camping supplies. Celestia and Luna were waiting with Wingdings
“What’s with the camping gear?” Austin asked Wingdings.
“I heard that Pokémon adventures are outdoors and during the night we will need somewhere to sleep. So Celestia gave us some camping gear for us.” Wingdings explained to Austin.
“Oh, okay.”
“Well, you ready to go?”
“Wait a moment,” Austin said as he walked over to Celestia and Luna. “Are you sure you will be fine for a while.” Austin said to the two.
“Of course we will dear, we will miss you dearly.” Celestial said to Austin softly
“Yes, we will miss you very much.” Luna said to Austin.
“But just in case you want to keep in touch with us,” Celestia used her horn and a summoned some papers and quills. “These quills have a spell that when you are done writing, it will magically teleport to me and I’ll be able to write you with these quills as well. So you can write to me at anytime and I’ll be able to write to you back.”
Celestia levitated the quills and papers to Austin. Austin took the quills and papers and placed them in his bag.
“Thank you mom, I’ll be sure to use these when I get there.”
“And I will wait for your messages.”
Austin went over to the two and hugged both of them, which they returned with their wings. After 30 seconds, they released the hug. Celestia and Luna gave Austin a kiss on both of his cheeks.
“Have fun out their.” Celestia said to Austin.
“I will, I’ll see you soon.” Austin said to the two.
“Love you, stay safe you two.” The princesses said.
“We Will. See you soon princesses.” Wingdings said to the princesses before they disappeared.
Luna looked at Celestia, looking worried.
“Don’t worry Tia, they will have fun out their.” Luna comforted Celestia.
“I know, I know. I just wish that we could go. We haven’t done anything in a long, long time, and these meetings are getting… stressful.” Celestia sighed.
“Well maybe one day, we will be able to do something ourselves for once.”
“I hope your right sister.”
Austin and Wingdings reappeared back to Twilights school, where they saw the Young Six, with small backpacks.
“So, is everyone ready?” Wingdings said to the Young Six.
The Young Six nodded.
“Very well, everyone gather around now.”
The Young Six gathered around Austin and Wingdings.
“So, where are we going?” Sandbar asked Wingdings.
“We are going to somewhere you guys haven’t gone to before.” Wingdings said to the group.
“So where are we going?” Ocellus asked curiously.
“We are going to a new world, a world where we’ve mentioned before and you had a text book used in your school.”
“You mean… Earth?” Silverstream asked.
“That’s correct Silverstream, we will be going to Earth. Not only that, but we are going to a region, the Kanto region. The place where our adventure will begin.”
“But… how are we going to get their?” Smolder asked.
“We will use my teleportation to go to earth. Since I was born on Earth and ended up staying here in Equestira, I can teleport from place to place.”
“And how do you use this teleportation?” Gallus asked.
“I will use my shadow magic to teleport us their.”
“Ah I see.”
“Yeah, so if everyone is ready, we will be leaving.”
“Yeah, I think we’re ready.” Sandbar said.”
“Very well. Let’s get going. Be sure to ready yourselves.”
Everyone stood together as Wingdings prepared to teleport. Wingdings lifted up his arms and a dark circle surrounded them. Wingdings then placed this hands on the floor and the shadow circle engulfed the group.
It was a cloudy day, many birds flying in the sky, purple rats fighting over some leftover food, all seems normal in Kanto… until the circle of darkness suddenly appeared, scaring many animals away from the area. What came from the dark circle was Austin, Wingdings, and the Young Six. The dark circle disappeared and The group was on a dirt road. Austin looked at the scenery, smelling the fresh air and exhaling. He looked to the Young Six, but they all looked dazed from the teleportation. After a minute, they were feeling fine.
“Ugh, my head.” Smolder said as she held her head.
“Apologies everyone. I’m use to only Austin and I teleporting, I didn’t know how to handle more people.” Wingdings said in a embarrassed tone.
“It’s fine Wings, we should be fine now.” Sandbar said to Wingdings.
“I’m glad. Now that everyone feels fine, Professor Oak gave us a description of what his laboratory looks like.”
“So this Professor Oak will give us these so called Pokémon?” Silverstream asked Wingdings.
“Precisely. Since I haven’t been in any of this, it will be an experience for all of us,” Wingdings said as he looked at the letter. “It says here that we need to find a set of stairs going up to a building with a windmill.”
Everyone looked around the area, but they saw nothing, but they only saw trees and open fields. Ocellus, however, turned around and saw the set of stairs leading to the building.
“I-I’ve found it guys.” Ocellus said to the group.
They looked at Ocellus and saw the building. Wingdings gave Ocellus a pat on the head.
“Nice work Ocellus. Now, let’s head inside.”
They approached the stairs, seeing a gate that is opened. The group went up the stairs and made their way to the entrance of the laboratory. As they stepped close to the doors, they automatically opened.
“Woah.” The Young Six said in astonishment.
The group went inside the laboratory and stood near the entrance. They saw a hallways filled with doors.
“Hello? Professor, Austin and I are here, we brought some friends as well.” Wingdings called out to Professor Oak.
Just then, a door opened up and saw a male human wearing a white coat. His hair was light brown and his eyes were brown. As they saw the group, he didn’t recognize them until he saw Austin’s face and started to approached them.
“Welcome everyone! At first I didn’t recognize all of you, until I saw young Austin here,” Professor Oak said as he approached Austin. “My, you’ve grown so much over the years. I barely recognized you, until I saw that sparkle in your eyes I saw nine years ago.”
“Heh, I didn’t know who you were at first… until Wingdings made me remember that I played with the Pokémon at your lab.” Austin said to Professor Oak, as he gestured to Wingdings.
Professor Oak looked at Wingdings and lifted up his hand for a shake. Wingdings lifted his hand and they shook.
“It’s nice to meet you… uh, what’s your name again?” Professor Oak asked Wingdings as they stopped shaking each other’s hands.
“I’m Wingdings, brother of Austin, as well as a mentor to him. You don’t know me since I was with Austin here for five years now.” Wingdings said to Professor Oak.
“Ah yes, you must be Gasters experiment. He came by my place a year ago and told me about you and how you help save Austin during some troubling times. He told me that he’s very proud of you.”
“Really? Why, thank you professor, when I get the chance to meet Gaster, I’ll have to thank him.”
Professor Oak nodded and noticed the Young Six.
“Are these new Pokémon you’ve caught already? They look rare.”
“Hey, we’re not Pokémon!” Gallus yelled at Professor Oak.
Professor Oak jumped a bit.
“They can talk?!” Professor Oak said in shock.
“These are Austin’s friends. They are not from here, they live in a place where their is no humans and ponies and other creatures live. Only one humans lives their, which is Austin here.”
“I see. Sorry about that, I thought you were all Pokémon. May I get your names please?” Professor Oak said to the Young Six.
“Names Gallus.” Gallus introduced.
“My n-names Ocellus.” Ocellus said shyly.
“My name is Sandbar.” Sandbar introduced.
“I’m Silverstream!” Silverstream said excitedly.
“Names Smolder.” Smolder introduced.
“And my name is Yona.” Yona introduced.
“Well, it’s nice to meet you all. Now, you ready to get your first Pokémon everyone?”
“We sure are!” Everyone said to Professor Oak.
“Excellent, follow me please.”
Professor Oak took the lead by going to the hallway and entered the door in the far hall. They went inside and the group saw several machine, a couch inside the room and a desk.
“Up these stairs now.” Professor Oak said to the group.
They went up the stairs near a machine with a screen. Up the stairs have three large window that can see the view. Professor Oak opened up a door on the balcony and went up more stairs. They soon went into another room with more machines and a table with balls with red on the top and white on the bottom.
“These are called poke balls, these devices will make you able to capture Pokémon for your party. You can only have six Pokémon in your party to use, but if you have extra Pokémon, you can transfer them to me and I’ll keep them safe.” Professor Oak said as the table dome opened up and he took one of the pokeballs.
Professor Oak opened the pokeball and a ball of white light glowed brightly. The white light slowly started to change appearance to a four legged green amphibian like creature with a big green bulb.
“Bulbasaur!” The creature said.
“This creature is called Bulbasaur. A grass/ poison type Pokémon. Their is two more starter Pokémon that I will show you, but only three of you will be getting a starter. I will show you the other two now.” Professor Oak said as he took the other two poke balls.
He threw the poke balls and the white light flashed and the two appeared as a bipedal lizard like creature with a flame on its tail and a bipedal turtle like creature with a shell on its back.
“Charmander!” The lizard creature said.
“Squirtle.” The turtle creature said.
“Here you all go, you will be needing this,” Professor Oak handed them a red device. “This here is a Pokédex, it will give you information on the Pokemon you encounter. The Pokémon you encounter will be registered in your Pokédex. Go on, give it a try.”
Austin opened up the Pokédex and pointed it at the Bulbasaur.
Bulbasaur, the Seed Pokemon. A grass type.
There is a plant seed on its back right from the day this Pokémon is born. The seed slowly grows larger. the device said in a male voice.
“Woah, this is pretty cool.”
Austin looked at the Charmander and the voice began to talk.
Charmander, the Lizard Pokémon. A fire type.
It has a preference for hot things. When it rains, steam is said to spout from the tip of its tail.
Austin finally went over to the Squirtle.
Squirtle, the Tiny Turtle Pokémon. A water type.
When it retracts its long neck into its shell, it squirts out water with vigorous force.
“Now… who will get their starters first.”

Austin and the Young Six’s Kanto Adventure
The group looked at the Pokémon, as the three waited eagerly to be their trainer’s first Pokémon.
“Well… who wants to go first?” Austin asked the group.
“Why don’t you go first Austin. It was your birthday yesterday after all.” Sandbar said to Austin.
“But that was yesterday, today is all of us.”
“Well, you also invited us to your adventure, so why don’t you pick first.” Smolder said to Austin.
“That does make sense. Alright, I’ll pick first.”
“Great! Now, which one do you want as your first Pokémon?” Professor Oak said to Austin.
“Hmm… I think I’ll choose…”
Before Austin could make his decision, he heard a door open behind them.
“Hey gramps! I’m here, bright and early, compared to some others. I’m ready to pick my first Pokémon.” A boy said to Professor Oak.
Just then, the boy looked at Austins group, looking confused and disgusted at the same time.
“Who are all these… creatures, doing here gramps?” The boy asked.
“Ah, Gary, I completely forgot you were coming for your Pokemon. You remember Austin, right?”
The boy, Gary looked at Austin.
“You mean the kid that you tried to make me befriend, but I didn’t because he was a push over?”
Austin and the others looked at him in shock.
“Why yes. Well, he and his friends here are embarking on their own adventure, and they are choosing their first Pokémon.”
“But you said I would get my first before anyone else.”
“Well, you should’ve came here earlier than them.”
Gary looked at Professor Oak with his arms crossed. Austin sighed and looked at Professor Oak.
“It’s alright if he gets his first, I can go before him next.” Austin said to Professor Oak.
“Are you sure Austin? You were here first.” Professor Oak said to Austin.
“I’m sure of it.”
“… very well then,” Professor Oak looked at Gary. “Gary, you may pick your Pokémon first.”
“Hah, about time,” Gary said as he went over to the Pokemon. “I know what I’m choosing,” Gary said as he grabbed a pokeball and sucked the Pokémon in a red beam. “Thanks chump, now I know why your such a push over, your too nice to people you just met.”
Austin looked down, feeling sad. The Young Six and Wingsdings looked at Gary in anger.
“Well, I’m going now, my cheerleaders won’t cheer without me. Smell you later, losers.” Gary said as he opened the door and closed it on them.
The group looked at the door, looking angry at them, however Austin felt sad by Gary’s mean name calling.
“The nerve of that guy!” Smolder said with her teeth bared.
Professor Oak sighed, feeling embarrassed. “Do apologize for my grandson, he’s just excited to be a strong trainer. Are you alright Austin?”
“Yeah, I’m fine.”
“Alright, well, luckily I have a spare Pokémon for you to chose for three of you lucky trainers.” Professor Oak said as he went to a machine and pressed a button.
As he pressed a button on the machine, a poke ball popped up from the bottom of the machine. The machine opened its glass dome and Professor Oak took it and opened the pokeball and a Pokémon appeared.
“Squirtle!” The Pokemon said excitedly as it came out of its poke ball.
“Their, now you may chose your Pokémon now.” Professor Oak said to Austin.
Austin looked at the three Pokémon and thought for a moment. He then finally made a decision.
“I choose… Charmander.” Austin said.
“Char? Charmander!” Charmander said excitedly as it jumped to Austin.
“Excellent choice Austin. Now, who’s next?” Professor Oak said to the others.
“I shall go next, if that’s not an issue for anyone.” Wingdings said to the Young Six.
The Young Six shook their heads. Wingdings went over to the two Pokémon and thought. After a few seconds, he made his decision.
“I choose… Squirtle.” Wingdings said to Professor Oak.
“Squirtle!” Squirtle said excitedly as it approached Wingdings.
“Excellent choice Wingdings. Now, who will chose Bulbasaur?” Professor Oak asked the Young Six.
The Young Six looked at each other, and made a group huddle. After talking for a minute or two, one of them will chose Bulbasaur.
“Yona will pick the Bulbasaur.” Yona said to Professor Oak.
“Bulb, bulbasaur!” Bulbasaur said excitedly as Bulbasaur went to Yona.
“Perfect! Unfortunately for the rest, I don’t have anymore starters left.” Professor Oak said to the rest.
“Are you sure their isn’t any left?” Sandbar asked Professor Oak.
“Well… I do have one other Pokémon, but it’s a bit… rude to beginner trainers.”
“Could you show us?” Wingdings asked Professor Oak.
“If you wish so…” Professor Oak went to a metal table and the center piece opened up and revealed a poke ball with a lightning bolt symbol on it.
Professor Oak took the pokeball and opened it. The light beamed out of the pokeball, and it began to take shape. The light disappeared and it appeared as a round, yellow mouse.
“Pikachu.” Pikachu said cutely.
The group looked at it with awe, and Austin took his Pokédex and opened it up.
Pikachu, the Mouse Pokémon. A electric type.
Pikachu that can generate powerful electricity have cheek sacs that are extra soft and super stretchy.
Silverstream went over to the Pikachu, giving it a hug.
“Awwwww, this thing is so cute. I want this as my Pokémon!” Silverstream said as she hugged Pikachu tightly.
Pikachu changed it expression to an angry look. Suddenly, lightning started to form from its cheeks. As the lightning began to form, it shot out to everyone in the room, shocking everyone. As the lightning was gone, they were covered in ash, and they fell down on the ground.
“Urgh… nevermind.” Silverstream said, dazed.
Professor reopened the pokeball and a red beam took Pikachu back to the pokeball.
“Well, I guess I’ll keep this Pokémon for now, or until a late Pokémon trainer comes and takes it,” Professor Oak sighed. “Well, that’s all the Pokemon we have, but I’ll give you all six pokeballs for you. Now before you go, their are something’s you will need to know, but I’m pretty busy to explain it all, so instead, I’ll hand you this booklet that has everything you need to know. Here you go Wingdings, I’m sure you can take care of it. ” Professor Oak said as he took a booklet and handed it to Wingdings.
“I will take care of this booklet.” Wingdings said to Professor Oak.
Professor Oak nodded and gave six poke balls to each of them. Professor Oak looked at the group, as they are putting the poke balls in their bags.
“Now, you are all ready for your journey ahead of you. Good luck to you all, and safe travels.”
“We will, thank you for everything Professor Oak.” Wingdings said to Professor Oak
“Anytime. You take care now.”
The group nodded and they went to the door and opened it, waving back at Professor Oak before they left. They made their way out of Professor Oaks lab and made their way to the stairs. As they were heading down the stairs, they saw Gary, talking to a guy wearing pajamas. They saw a large group of people holding signs and cheerleaders. Wingdings saw him angrily, activating his eyes to a blue and orange color. Austin, however, put his hand on him, shaking his head. Wingdings looked at Gary, but his eyes went back to his white pupils. Wingdings suddenly surrounded the group in shadows and disappeared. They reappeared on the dirt road, far from Gary and his crowd. The group began to walk on the dirt road, until a vehicle started to drive right by them, covering them in dust.
“Smell you later losers!” Gary laughed at the group.
“Gah! What’s his problem?!” Sandbar said in a angry tone.
“He’s just cocky, but that will be his downfall.” Wingdings said annoyed.
“Come on guys, that guy won’t ruin our fun, right.” Austin said to the group.
“Yeah, Austin’s right. That jerk won’t ruin this for us.” Smolder said.
“Yeah!” The others yelled in unison.
“Agreed, now let’s see here,” Wingdings said as he pulled up the booklet Professor Oak gave. “Their is a city nearby named Viridian City, but we have to go to route one to get to the city, maybe we can get you guys your first Pokémon along the way.”
“Well, that’s good at least, we can get our first Pokémon from there.” Sandbar said to the group.
“I guess so, yeah.” Gallus said.
“Alright, let’s get going then.” Wingdings said.
The group went forwards on the dirt road and they were approaching a forest. As they went into the forest, they saw many types of Pokémon on the floor, in the sky and even in the trees. They also saw a sign “Route one” written on it.
“Alright, should we try to find you guys your first Pokémon?” Austin said to the Gallus, Ocellus, Sandbar, Silverstream, and Smolder.
“Yeah, let’s do it.” Gallus, Ocellus, Sandbar, Silverstream, and Smolder said.
“Alright then. Sandbar, Silverstream, and Smolder will go with Austin. Gallus will be with me and Ocellus will be with Yona. Does everyone agree with these groups? Wingdings asked the group.
Austin and the Young Six nodded and they went to their little groups.
“Alright, now let’s split up and be back on this spot. Wingdings said as he summoned a large bone and stuck it to the ground.
“Right!” Austin and the Young Six said to Wingdings.
“Now before you go, you must know a few things. On the booklet, it says that when you encounter a Pokémon and you enter a fight with your Pokémon, you first must weaken it for it to be captured. If you try to capture it first, it will most likely break out of the poke ball and escape.”
“So we fight it, weaken it, then capture it?” Gallus asked Wingdings.
“Exactly. But for you guys that don’t have your Pokémon yet, so we will use our Pokémon first to help weaken it, then you will use your pokeballs. Understood?”
“Understood.” Austin and the Young Six said.
“Alright, now let’s split up.”
Austin, Sandbar, Silverstream, and Smolder went to the left side of the area. Gallus and Wingdings went to the middle area. Ocellus and Yona went to the right area. As Austin, Sandbar, Silverstream and Smolder went to the left side of a dirt road, they were surrounded by trees and tall grass. They saw many Pokémon around the area, but they were far away for them to catch.
“So… who wants to get their Pokémon first?” Austin asked the three.
“Maybe I can go first, if any pony doesn’t object that is.” Sandbar said to the group.
“Nah, go ahead Sandbar, I’ll wait.” Smolder said to Sandbar.
“Yeah, I’ll wait too.” Silverstream said to Sandbar.
“Okay, I’ll go first.” Sandbar said to Austin.
“Alright, when you see a Pokémon you want, I’ll weaken it and you catch it. Okay?” Austin said to Sandbar.
“Okay.”
As the four were going down the dirt road, a pikachu appeared on the road.
“Oh look, a pikachu. Austin, can you fight it for me? I want to catch it.” Sandbar said to Austin.
“You want me to fight the Pikachu? Why didn’t you take the Pikachu at Professor Oaks lab?” Austin replied.
“Well… that one looked mean. This one, looks… more friendly.”
“Well… alright then. I’ll help you with this.”
Austin went towards the Pikachu, as it looks at Austin. Austin took out his poke ball and he threw the pokeball.
“Charmander, Come on out!” Austin yelled out.
As he threw the ball, it opened up and a white glow flashed out the pokeball. The light started to disappear and out came Charmander.
“Char!” Charmander said.
As the Pikachu looked at Charmander, it readied itself for battle.
“Now… let’s see what you have for attacks,” Austin said as he looked at his Pokédex. “Okay… Charmander, use scratch!”
“Char!” Charmander yelled out.
Charmander charged at the Pikachu, claws ready to strike. As Charmander was about to scratch the Pikachu, it dodge the attack. Just then, the Pikachu let out lightning from its body and hit Charmander, knocking him down to the floor.
“Charmander, are you okay?” Austin asked Charmander.
Charmander slowly lifted himself and looked at Austin, nodding.
“Good, now, use scratch one more time.”
“Char!”
Charmander charged at Pikachu once again, ready to scratch the Pikachu, but it dodged but jumping in the air.
That’s what I wanted. Austin said with a smirk.
“Now Charmander! Use scratch one more time in the air!”
Charmander jumped up on the air. Pikachu looked surprised as Charmander came towards Pikachu. Charmanders claw hit Pikachu, making Pikachu fall to the floor.
“Pi… ka.” Pikachu said weakly.
“It’s weakened, quick use your poke ball!” Austin said to Sandbar.
“Right!” Sandbar said as he took out a poke ball out of his bag.
Sandbar got the pokeball and threw it at the Pikachu. The pokeball hit Pikachu and opened up. A red light came out of the poke ball and grabbed the Pikachu, sucking it into the pokeball. The pokeball started to shake on the dirt road, having a red light glow on the centre of the pokeball

The centre of the pokeball stopped glowing and it was quiet.
“… did… I catch it?” Sandbar asked, breaking the silence.
“I… think you did. Why don’t you grab the ball and see for yourself.” Austin said to Sandbar.
Sandbar nodded and went to the pokeball. He grabbed the pokeball with his mouth and used his hoof to press the center of the pokeball. The pokeball opened up and a white flash appeared. The light faded and Pikachu appeared.
“Pikachu!” Pikachu said happily.
“Hey, it worked, you caught Pikachu!” Silverstream said happily.
“Way to go Sandbar.” Smolder said to Sandbar.
“Thanks guys, but I wouldn’t have caught Pikachu if it weren’t for Austin.” Sandbar said, looking at Austin.
“It’s no problem, just helping out is all,” Austin said with a smile. “Charmander, return!” Austin pointed the pokeball at Charmander and a red beam took Charmander.
“Char.” Charmander said before it was back in the pokeball.
“Hey, now that you two have Pokemon, we can go with one of you, it will be faster, I think.” Silverstream said to the three.
“Yeah, that’s a great idea Silverstream! Sandbar, you can take Silverstream, and I’ll take Smolder.” Austin said to the three.
“Sounds good Austin. We will go to the forest and see if their is any Pokémon nearby.”
“Okay, stay safe you guys. Be sure to go on the dirt road and find where Wingdings bone is when we go back.”
“Don’t worry, we will.” Sandbar looked at Pikachu and pointed the pokeball at it. “Pikachu, return!”
“Pika.” Pika chi said before the red beam took it back to the pokeball.
Sandbar and Silverstream went to the right and into the forest, while Austin and Smolder continued down the dirt road.
In the forest, Sandbar and Silverstream were wondering in the forest. The light was barely visible by the giant trees as they went in. They saw many Pokémons within the forest like bugs, birds and many more. But what caught Silverstream’s attention was a small bird, pecking the ground.
“Aww, that bird looks almost like me,” Silverstream said as she took out her Pokédex out of her bag and pointed at the bird Pokemon.
Pidgey, the Tiny Bird Pokémon. A normal/flying type.
Very docile. If attacked, it will often kick up sand to protect itself rather than fight back.
“Ohhhh! I want it as my partner! Sandbar, could you please help me?”
“Well, if you want it as your partner, I’ll help,” Sandbar said as he took out his pokeball. “Pikachu, come on out!”
The pokeball opened up and the white flash appeared. Once the light disappeared, Pikachu appeared, ready for combat. Pidgey looked at them, started to flap their wings and flew up the air. The Pidgey flapped it’s wings forwards and a gust of wind emerge. The strong winds was strong enough to almost blow away Pikachu. As the gust reduced, the Pidgey tried to escape.
“Oh no you don’t. Pikachu, use thundershook!”
“Pika!” Pikachu jumped in the air and lightning came off its body.
The lightning went toward the Pidgey and shocked the it, causing the Pidgey to fall from the sky.
“Now’s your chance Silverstream, throw your pokeball!” Sandbar said to Silverstream.
“Right!” Silverstream said as she took a poke ball out of her bag.
Silverstream threw the pokeball at the Pidgey. The pokeball made contact and started to suck the Pidgey inside. The pokeball closed and fell to the floor. As it landed on the floor, it began to shake, the red light glowing in the center of the pokeball.

Silverstream gasped happily and hugged Sandbar tightly.
“Oh my gosh! oh my gosh! I did it! I caught a Pidgey!” Silverstream shouted excitedly, causing several Pokemon around to scatter.
“Great… job… Silverstream… could you… let go of me… please.” Sandbar said, struggling to breath.
“Oh, my bad.” Silverstream said as she ended the hug.
“ Sigh, thank you. We should get back with the others, maybe they had their luck catching their first Pokémon.” Sandbar said. “Pikachu, return!”
“Pikachu.” Pikachu said as a red beam took it and brought back inside the Pokeball.
“Yeah, let’s get going!”
Sandbar and Silverstream turned around and went back to the dirt road where Austin and Smolder departed.
Meanwhile with Austin and Smolder, they kept going the dirt road, seeing nothing on sight.
“ Sigh, maybe we should go back to the others. This road isn’t getting us anywhere.” Smolder said to Austin.
“Wait, I thought I saw something up ahead.” Austin said to Smolder.
“Come on Austin, let’s just go back.”
“ Sigh, alright, let’s go back to the others.”
The two turned around and went back with the others. However, as they turned around, a purple like rat creature was on the road, sniffing the ground.
“What is that?” Smolder said as she took out her Pokédex and pointed at the purple rat creature.
Rattata, the Mouse Pokémon. A normal type.
Will chew on anything with its fangs. If you see one, you can be certain that 40 more live in the area.
“A Rattata you say? Well… better than nothing. Alright, help me out will you Austin.” Smolder said to Austin.
“Right,” Austin said as he took out his pokeball. “Charmander! Come on out!”
Austin threw the pokeball and opened up, revealing the white glow. As the glow disappeared, revealing Charmander.
“Charmander!”
The Rattata looked at Charmander, narrowed its eyes and readied itself. The Rattata began to charge at the Charmander.
“Dodge it Charmander, then use scratch!” Austin commanded Charmander.
“Char!”
Charmander dodged Rattata’s tackle and scratched the Rattata. Rattata fell to the floor, but got back up.
“Huh, this Rattata is kinda strong.” Smolder said, slightly impressed.
“Charmander, use scratch one more time!”
Charmander nodded and ran up to the Rattata, scratching Rattata over and over again. The Rattata fell to the floor, looking injured.
“Huh… that’s a bit… extreme. Smolder, nows your chance, catch it!” Austin said to Smolder.
“Right!” Smolder said as she took a poke ball out of her bag.
Smolder threw the pokeball at the Rattata, opened up and suck the Rattata inside the pokeball. It landed on the ground and started to shake.

Smolder smiled and grabbed the pokeball and put the pokeball in her bag. She turned around and gave Austin a thumbs up, to which he did too.
“We should probably go back with the others, they’re probably waiting for us.” Smolder said to Austin.
“Agreed. I wonder what kind of Pokémon they got? I’m curious.” Austin said to Smolder.
“Well… we will have to see. Come on, let’s get going.”
“Right, Charmander, return!”
“Charmander.” Charmander said as a red beam took it and brought it back inside the pokeball.
The two went straight ahead towards the dirt road. As the two were coming to where Wingdings bone was placed, they was Sandbar and Silverstream in front of them. They united with the two and proceeded to walk along the road. As they were approaching the bone, they saw Gallus, Ocellus, Wingdings and Yona, looking slightly disappointed.
“Hey guys, did you find any luck?” Austin said to the other four.
“Sigh, no. I tried to help Gallus catch a Pokémon, but he tried to do it himself, trying to pounce on the Pokémon, which escaped.” Wingdings said, giving a unimpressed look at Gallus.
“Hey! I wanted to catch it myself, the pokeball didn’t work, so I did it my way.”
“Even though I told you I’ll handle it!”
“Whatever.”
“Ocellus and I almost caught a Pokémon, but it got out the pokeball and escaped. After that we searched for more, but no luck.”
Ocellus nodded embarrassed. Austin nodded and smiled at them.
“That’s fine everyone, we can find more Pokémon along the way.”
“I hope so, we can find some eventually, what about you guys. Did you catch any?”
Austin nodded at the three and they took out their pokeballs.
“Come on out!” The three said.
The three poke balls opened up and three white lights appeared. After the lights disappeared, a Pikachu, Pidgey, and Rattata appeared.
“Amazing work you guys.” Wingdings said.
“Yeah, way to go you guys.” Yona and Ocellus said happily.
“Yeah… congrats.” Ocellus said.
“Now, shall we proceed to Viridian City?” Wingdings asked the group.
“Yeah.” Austin and the Young Six said.
“Good, now follow me, I know how to get out of here.”
The group nodded and they started to make their way out of route 1. As they finally got out of the route, they were on a cliff, seeing the amazing view of a city. Viridian city.

Austin and the Young Six’s Kanto Adventure
Viridian City and Route 2
Viridian City, buildings that looked liked it stretched for miles, a beautiful sight to behold for Austin, Wingdings and the Young Six. The Young Six oh’d and awe’d by the sight.
“That city looks huge!” Sandbar said in wonder.
“Indeed, it’s a sight to behold, but we should go their and rest for a while.”
“Good idea Wingdings, I’m pretty exhausted.” Austin said tiredly.
Well according to the booklet, their is a place where we and the Pokémon can rest.”
“What’s the place called exactly?” Gallus asked Wingdings.
“It’s a place called a Pokemon center. We should be heading their first before we face the gym.”
“Right.” The group nodded.
The group proceeded to walk down the hill and into Viridian city. As they made their way into the city, they saw citizens looking at them, looking confused.
“Uh… why are they looking at us like that?” Sandbar asked to the others.
“Well… it’s not often they see a griffon, a changeling, a pony, a hippogriff, a dragon, a yak and a skeleton waking into a city as Pokémon trainers.”
“I guess that’s true.”
“Yeah, for now let’s get to the Pokémon center before we go to the gym.”
“What is this gym for anyway? Is it exercise for us or…” Ocellus asked Wingdings.
“These gyms are for you to battle gym leaders with your Pokémon. There is 8 gyms in the region and they are strong to fight, and if you beat them, you receive a gym badge. When you get all 8 badges, you go to the Pokémon league, a place where the strongest trainers will compete with one another. Once their is only one trainer left, they receive a trophy for all the hard work you did, at least that’s what the booklet says.”
“Wow… that’s a lot of information. It’s… overwhelming.”
“Their is a lot of information yes, but we shouldn’t worry about that for now. For now, let’s go to the Pokemon center to rest for a while.”
“Right.” The group said.
The group proceeded to walk their way to the Pokemon center. The group made it towards the Pokémon center, seeing the massive structure and a giant red ball on top of the structure.
“Woah, this place is massive!” Austin said in amazement.
“Indeed, now let’s head inside and rest up a bit.” Wingdings said to the group.
The group nodded and they made their way inside. Inside the Pokémon center lobby, their was a desk with a nurse. On the side of the desk, was a Pokémon recovery room. The group went over to the desk and saw the nurse waved to the group.
“Welcome to the Pokémon center, I’m nurse Joy. How can I help you today?” Nurse Joy said to the group.
“Hello, we will like to heal up our Pokemon please.” Wingdings said to nurse Joy.
“Of course, Chansey, could you come here please?”
Suddenly, a giant pink creature with a white stone in the middle of its chest came out from the doors with a mini cart.
“Chansey.” Chansey said happily.
“Who’s that Pokémon?” Austin said as he took out his Pokédex and pointed it at the Chansey.
Chansey, the Egg Pokemon. A normal type.
The egg Chansey carries is not only delicious but also packed with nutrition. It’s used as a high-class cooking ingredient.
The Chansey walked over to the desk with the cart.
“Please put your poke balls onto the cart and we will return them to full health.”
The group nodded and placed their Pokeballs on the cart. The Chansey smiled and took the cart back to the room it was originally in. Wingdings looked back at nurse Joy.
“May we ask if their is a restaurant nearby?” Wingdings said to nurse Joy.
“Why yes. We have a canteen here. It’s at the end of the right and go through the two doors.” Nurse Joy said to Wingdings.
“Thank you very much Nurse Joy.”
“Your very welcome sir. All your Pokémon will be out in a few minutes.”
“Thank you.”
The group went over to the right side of the Pokemon center and went inside the canteen. The Young Six ordered soup, while Wingdings ordered a salad and Austin ordered a hamburger. Austin looked at the hamburger and started to drool.
“I’ve forgotten how hamburgers tasted. They taste amazing!” Austin said.
“So… humans eat meat? How come we never see you eat meat?” Gallus said to Austin.
“Well I do eat fish, but I mostly eat vegan food.”
“But humans eat meat regularly?” Ocellus asked.
“Well yeah, we’re omnivores, which means eating meat and plants. For me, it’s mostly all plant food since you guys don’t eat meat.”
“Oh… so you’ve haven’t had meat at all?” Sandbar said.
“Well, aside of fish, no. But maybe that’s a good thing, plant food give me more energy to do stuff.”
“I guess that’s true. So what kind of… hamburger is it anyway?”
“It’s cow meat.”
Just then, some of the young six eyes widened, except for Gallus and Smolder.
“Heh, I could go for some cow meat, ” Smolder and Gallus said. The rest of the young six eyed Gallus and Smolder. “What?”
Just then, the group heard a little chime ringing out the lobby.
“Oh, our Pokémon must be healed up. Let’s go check when we’re finished.”
“Right.” The group said.
The group had finished eating their food and started to make their way back to the lobby. As they made it back to the lobby and saw the Chansey with the cart return with their poke balls.
“Your Pokémon are fully healed,” nurse Joy said to the group. The group took their poke balls and put them into their bags. “We hope you come back soon.”
“We will eventually, thank you.”
The group waved nurse Joy goodbye, which she waved goodbye as well. The group exited the Pokémon center and made their way to the Pokémon gym. The gym had orange on the top of the entrance and orange on the side of the entrance. As they were about to head inside, a person stopped them at the entrance.
“Hello there trainers. I’ll need to see your seven badges before heading inside.” The person said.
“Uh… seven badges?” Austin said confusedly.
“Yes, you need seven badges to fight this gym. Do you not have any badges?”
“No, we just started our adventure.” Wingdings explained.
“Well you will need seven badges to fight the gym leader. No badges, no entry. Sorry fellas.”
“That’s alright, but where do we go from here?”
“I suggest you go to Pewter City, it’s passed route two.”
“Route two you say,” Wingdings took out the booklet and located route two. “Got it. Thank you mister.”
“Anytime… uh… skeleton person.”
“We will be back here soon enough.”
“And we will be here. Good day to you all.”
The group waved goodbye to the person and started to make their way to route two. As they entered the route, They were on a dirt road and trees surrounded the route. The route was straight across from a thick forest.
“Well since we’re here, we can help Gallus and Ocellus find their first Pokémon partner.” Wingdings said to the group.
“Oh yeah, that’s true, we can help you guys get your first Pokémon.” Austin said to Gallus and Ocellus.
“That’s true.” Gallus said to Austin.
“Y-yeah.” Ocellus said to Austin.
“Then we will help you find it.” Sandbar said to the two.
The two nodded and the group continued to walk. As they were walking down the road, they saw many Pokémon in the trees, looking at them curiously. Just then a Pidgey came flying towards them. The Pidgey flew past them, causing Austin’s hat to fly off.
“Ohhh, now that’s my kind of Pokémon.” Gallus said.
“Don’t worry, I’ll help,” Sandbar said as he took out his poke ball. “Pikachu, come on out!” Sandbar threw the pokeball and Pikachu appeared.
“Pikachu.” Pikachu said happily.
“Pikachu, use thundershock on the Pidgey!” Sandbar commanded Pikachu.
“Pika!” Pikachu said as lightning started to come off it’s body.
Pikachu let out the lightning and aimed it at the Pidgey. The lightning impacted the Pidgey, shocking it. The Pidgey began to fall to the floor.
“Now its my turn!” Gallus said as he took out a poke ball.
Gallus flew up to the Pidgey and threw the pokeball at the Pidgey, sucking it inside the pokeball. The pokeball landed on the floor and started to shake with a red light on the center of the pokeball.

“Ah yes! Finally got my first Pokémon!” Gallus said happily.
Gallus landed to the floor and grabbed the pokeball. He put the pokeball into his bag.
“Now we need to help Ocellus with finding her a Pokémon.” Sandbar said.
“Y-yeah, but you don’t need to.” Ocellus said shyly.
“Nonsense, we all need to have at least one Pokemon, then we can bring them back to our family.”
“Y-yeah… yeah, that’s true.”
The group nodded and they went to the entrance of the thick forest. They went inside the forest and into the dark forest. The light was barely visible inside the forest, but was able to see in front of them. As they were about to exit the forest, a small, quadrupedal mammal came out of the trees and into the dirt road.
“What kind of Pokémon is that?” Ocellus said as she took out her Pokédex and pointed it at the Pokemon.
Nidoran (Female), the Poison Pin Pokémon. A poison type.
Females are more sensitive to smells than males. While foraging, they’ll use their whiskers to check wind direction and stay downwind of predators.
“A Nidoran? It looks really cute.” Ocellus said.
“So you wish to catch a Nidoran?” Wingdings said to Ocellus.
“Y-yeah… if you can, that is.”
“Step back, I’ll take care of this,” Gallus said confidently, taking out his pokeball. “Pidgey, come on out!”
Gallus threw the pokeball and Pidgey came out, soaring the sky.
“Pidgey, use gust!” Gallus commanded.
Pidgey flapped it’s wings forwards and a gust of wing blew at Nidoran, but the Nidoran stood its ground.
“Keep using gust Pidgey!” Gallus shouted.
Pidgey kept using gust over and over on the Nidoran. The Nidoran kept its ground for a while, until it finally got tired and the gust blew the Nidoran down.
“Quick while it’s down Ocellus.” Gallus said.
Ocellus went to her bag and grabbed the pokeball and threw the pokeball at the Nidoran, sucking it inside the pokeball. The pokeball landed on the ground and started to shake, with a red light in the center of the pokeball.

Ocellus smiled and went over to pick up the pokeball. She picked up the pokeball and place it in her bag.
“Thank you Gallus.” Ocellus said happily.
“No problem Ocellus.” Gallus said to Ocellus.
“Great, now everyone has their first Pokemon!” Sandbar said happily.
“Indeed. Now we should all be ready for the gym leaders now, but it’s starting to get dark out, so how about we set up camp for the night.”
“Sounds good to me, I’m exhausted.”
“Very well then. I’ll set up the tents, one for the girls and one for the boys.”
The group nodded and Wingdings began to set up the tents, while the Young Six and Austin were getting ready for bed . Austin was hiding behind a bush to put his pyjamas on. As he was done, he went back to the group. The tents were set and a fire was already started. The Young Six placed their sleeping bags in the tents. The group were by the fire, talking to each other. Austin joined them and took out a scroll and began to write.
Dear Celestia and Luna,
Hi momma Celestia and momma Luna, I know I was suppose to write you, but I was helping out my friends on catching their new Pokémon partners. I wish you were here to enjoy this, but that’s fine. Anyways, we’re about to go to sleep soon and I wanted to send you a message saying I’m doing fine and so are the others. I miss you guys, but I know I’ll be fine. I’ll talk to you soon, or when you send me a message.

As soon as Austin was done writing on the scroll, the quill started to glow and the scroll turned to green fire. Austin went into the tent and laid down on his sleeping bag.
“Goodnight everyone.” Austin said.
“Goodnight.” The group said.
Austin soon looked up and saw a bit of stars out and started to close his eyes, falling into a deep slumber.

Austin and the Young Six’s Kanto Adventure
A new day had begun for the group, the sun raised up high, and the birds were chirping. Austin started to open his eyes, his tent still looking dark due to no openings for the sunlight to illuminate. Austin slowly rose up and looked around the tent, seeing no one in their sleeping bags. Just then, he smelt the air and was smelling food outside. He got out of his sleeping bag and zipped up the zipper to the tent. He exited the tent and went outside. He cover the sunlight with his hand and smelt the fresh air, with a hint of food in the air. When his vision adjusted to the sunlight, he noticed everyone was awake. The Young Six was setting up a foldable table, while their Pokemon were out, playing with one another. Austin noticed Wingdings cooking near a cooking pot above a small fire. Austin went over to Wingdings and Wingdings saw Austin walking towards him.
“Ah, your finally woke up. Just in time too, breakfast is almost ready. Also, Celestia wrote you a letter, as I woke up, I saw the green fire from her and decided to wait to give it to you when you woke up.” Wingdings said as he took out a letter from his coat pocket.
“Oh, thank you Wings.” Austin said as he took the letter and opened it.
Dear Austin,
Hello my dear boy, I’ve been waiting for a letter from you, but in your letter you’ve been busy helping your friends. I’m very proud of you. I wish my sister and I were their, but we’ve been busy as of late. We miss you dearly, but we know you are having fun. We hope we hear from you soon.

Austin smiled and put the letter in his pocket.
“Breakfast is ready everyone!” Wingdings said to the group.
Austin went over to the table and sat with the Young Six. Wingdings hovered over seven bowls with his multiple bone hands. He also used his bone hands to put down bowls for the Pokémon as well. Austin quickly pulled out his pokeball and Charmander came out the pokeball.
“I have made some stew for us to eat. I hope you enjoy it.” Wingdings said with a smile.
Wingdings used his magic to lift the pot and approached the group, using a cooking spoon to scoop the stew to everyone’s bowl. Wingdings grabbed spoons for the Young Six, Austin and himself. Wingdings also filled up the bowls for the Pokémon. As everyone got their fair share of stew and Pokémon food, they all started to chow down.
“Wow, this is delicious, thank you Wingdings.” Ocellus smiled.
“Anytime. As your supervisor and the oldest here, I’ll be the one responsible for cooking the food, as well as keeping an eye on you all. I’ve been practicing my cooking in my spare time, so I do hope it’s good.”
“It actually tastes pretty good, I’m not gonna lie.” Gallus said to Wingdings.
“Why thank you Gallus. I do try my best,” Wingdings said as we took out his booklet and examined the map section. “Alright, so Pewter City is just straight ahead of this road.”
“Do we know who this gym leader is?” Austin asked.
“His name is Brock. He specializes on rock type Pokémon.
“Rock type Pokémon? Huh, those sound tough. Do you know what can beat them?”
“I’m not sure, it doesn’t say anything on the booklet. I guess we will find out when we face him.”
“I guess we will.”
Everyone kept eating their stew and the Pokemon were finished eating their Pokemon food. As everyone was done eating their stew, they were getting ready to move out. They folded up the foldable table, they gathered the supplies, and packed up the tents. Gaster went to the gear, raised his hand and the gear disappeared.
“Huh, so that’s where the gear went.” Austin said.
“Of course, I’m not carrying all that stuff, besides, the gear isn’t important to the story.”
“Oh, I see.”
The Young Six grabbed what they had and the group started to head to Pewter City. They walked on the dirt road for a while until they started to see some buildings from afar. They got to the end of the dirt road and saw a sign by the end of the road.
“Pewter City: A Stone Grey City.”
“So this is Pewter City, pretty cool.” Smolder said.
“Yeah, it looks nice.” Austin said.
“We should find the Pokémon center before facing the gym leader.” Wingdings said to the group.
“Agreed.” The group nodded.
The group went onto the concrete road and looked both ways, the left side showing a teal like house, and the right seeing more road. Silverstream looked around until she looked straight ahead, seeing the Pokémon center.
“There it is.” Silverstream pointed straight.
The others looked straight and saw the Pokémon center. The group crossed the road and went inside the Pokemon center. As they went inside, it looked the same as of Viridian City, except it was smaller. As they entered the lobby of the Pokemon center, they saw nurse Joy. Looking confused, they walked over to the counter. Nurse Joy looked at the group and smiled.
“Welcome to the Pokemon center, how can I help you?” Nurse Joy said with a smile.
“Nurse Joy? Weren’t you at the Viridian City Pokemon center?” Austin said confusedly.
“Oh, you mean my younger sister? She works at the Viridian City Pokemon center.”
“Your younger sister? But you and her look the same.”
“Why thank you, your too kind. All of our younger and older sisters look the same. As well as all of our younger and older cousins.” Nurse Joy said as she showed a picture frame, showing many nurse Joys in the picture.
“Interesting, all of you look the same. The only thing different is the Pokémon badges on your chests.” Wingdings said, examining the picture.
“That’s right, my sisters, cousins and I have different badges. My younger sister haves a green pokebadge, while I have a gray pokebadge.” Nurse Joy said, pointing at the badge.
“Oh, i see, that’s pretty cool.” Austin said.
Nurse Joy nodded. “Now, what can I do for you all?”
“We would like to heal our Pokémon please.” Wingdings said.
“Of course, I’ll have your Pokémon healed in a moment.” Nurse Joy smiled as she took the groups pokeballs.
As nurse Joy took the pokeballs to the medical room, they stayed in the lobby. The young six talked to each other, Wingdings sitting on the a red couch, reading Austin’s daring doo books, and Austin sitting on the red couch as well, writing a letter to Princess Celestia. A few minutes passed and they heard a jingle. Just then, they saw nurse Joy coming out of the medical room.
“Your Pokémon is fully healed.” Nurse Joy said to the group.
The group took their pokeballs and put them away.
“Thank you very much.” Wingdings said to nurse Joy.
“Your welcome. Come back soon.” Nurse Joy smiled.
The group waved goodbye to nurse Joy, as she waved back.
The group left the Pokémon center and started to walk around the city.
“According to the booklet, the Pokémon gym should be right…” Wingdings said as he looked up. “Here.”
The group looked up and saw a giant stone sign saying ‘Pewter City gym’ in the center. They all looked at each other, before going inside the gym. They went inside the gym, seeing the big room having blue floors and walls. They went in further into the room, until they saw a person at the end of the room, a male wearing a orange t shirt, green vest, light brown pants, and black and white shoes. His eyes are closed and his skin is lightly brown.
“Hello, my name is Brock. Welcome to my gym. Now, who is going to fight me first?” Brock said to the group.

Should be celebrating their birthday!!
That’s right, it’s that time of the year! It is now Austin’s birthday today and everypony is getting everything prepared at the Canterlot Castle throne room before the birthday boy ruins the surprise. The Main 6, the princesses, Shining Armor, The Cutie Mark Crusaders, The Young Six, Ember, Thorax, Starlight, and Tempest were finishing up the decorations, before Spike came running in the room.
“He’s on his way right now!!” Spiked yelled.
The ponies then started to speed up their progress to get the decorations done. On the other side of the castle, Austin and Wingdings were walking out of his bedroom, dressed in his black outfit with the white shirt behind the black buttoned shirt, with his black pants and with his black dress shoes. Wingdings just wore his black lab coat, like normal.
“Why don’t you change clothes instead of using your lab coat?” Austin asked Wingdings.
“Well it’s kinda hard when I’m made up of magic and shadows.” Wingdings said to Austin.
“We’ll have you tried to use your magic to create a pair of new clothes?”
“Hmm... I haven’t thought of that.”
Wingdings surrounded himself in shadows and changed his lab coat into a fancy suit like Austin’s.
“Huh it looks like it worked.” Wingdings said.
“Yeah and you look good without having that coat on.” Austin smiled.
“I guess your right little buddy.” Wingdings ruffled up Austin’s hair a bit.
“Come on let’s go!” Austin’s said as he speed walked, until he almost tripped and fell, but Wingdings caught him with a blue attack on his heart.
“Woah slow down, you almost fell!” Wingdings said as he put Austin back up on his feet.
“Hehe sorry... I got a bit excited.” Austin scratched the back of his head, embarrassed.
“It’s alright. Let’s go but dont run next time.”
“Okay.”
The two got to the doors to the throne room. Austin went to open the doors, but Wingdings stopped him.
“Hang on now!” Wingdings said.
“What’s wrong?” Austin asked.
“Uhhh... just wanted to make sure you look good and … yep you look great!”
“... okay?”
Austin opened the throne room and it is pitch black. The only thing the two can see was Wingdings eyes glowing in the dark. They walked in a bit more before stopping.
“Huh... everything is dark.” Austin said.
“It is.” Wingdings said.
“Should we be concerned?”
The lights flickered and everypony stood around the two.
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY AUSTIN!!!” Everypony yelled in unison.
Austin gasped. “Awww guys, thank you! You sure gave me an surprised.” Austin said as everypony came to Austin to give him a hug.
“We wanted to make your first birthday here a good one dear.” Celestia said softly.
“Well this is certainly a surprise with all of you all here.”
Austin looked around the room and saw many of his pony friends. The main 6, Starlight, Tempest, Spike, Cadance, Shining Armor, Flurry Heart, The CMC, Ember, Thorax and The Young Six were present.
“Wow, everyone is here. I’m very touched.” Austin said with a tear in one eye.
“Oh course, we wouldn’t miss it for the world.” Cadance said as she wiped the tear off of Austin’s eye with her wing.
“Hehe... it feels like yesterday I just arrived here and was feeling scared, confused and not confident with myself... but now with my new friends, I got my confidence back and I’m not afraid anymore.”
“And you made us very happy that you came in our lives.” Luna said happily.
“Yeah! Now can we start the party now.” Pinkie Pie eagerly said, hopping up and down.
“Yes my pink friend, the party can start now.” Celestia nodded.
“YAY!!!” Pinkie jumped happily up and down, confetti exploding behind her.
The party now started, everypony was chatting with one another, the Cutie Mark Crusader and Austin began to play, everyone having the time of their lives. Wingdings was with Celestia we’re standing in the side with a plastic cup filled of fruit punch. Wingdings and Celestia looked at Austin as he was playing with the Cutie Mark Crusader.
“He’s growing up fast.” Wingdings said to Celestia.
“He is, but hopefully he will stay the happy and caring child we know.” Celestia said happily.
“Well, humans can change their behaviors, but I know Austin will be happy... because he has an amazing mother to keep him happy.”
“Oh Wingdings… I’m very flattered, but you also been the best brother you can be for him.” Celestia blushed a bit.
“Hey what about me?” Luna said with a humph.
“I haven’t forgotten you too. You two have been so caring ever since...” Wingdings lowered his head, having a sad expression while looking at Austin.
“Yeah... but it looks like he moved on from them and is now happy, but I feel like he still holds on to those feelings.” Celestia said sadly.
“He may need those feelings to keep him going. After what he’s been through, from Earth and Equestria, he will hold on his parents energy to keep going, for them.”
“Couldn’t said it any better,” Celestia said happily. “Should we give the birthday boy his cake?”
“Yeah, they been playing for a bit after they eaten their supper.”
“Okay. Let’s get them together and let’s have some cake.”
“Okay!” Wingdings and Luna said in unison.
The three went over to the others and everyone looked at Celestia.
“Okay everypony, the cake will be served soon, so let’s go to the tables and sing the happy birthday song when the cake comes out.” Celestia said happily.
“Ugh... the birthday song is lame.” Gallus grumbled.
Smolder bumped his side with an unimpressed face. “Not on his birthday dude.”
“...Fine.”
The group went to the tables to wait for the cake. A unicorn pony took the cake out of the kitchen and placed it on the tables. The cake was three layers, the first layer was green frosting, the second layer was black frosting and the third layer was yellow. Candles were placed on the third layer on the cake.
“Hey Wings, the frosting looks like us. Me with the green because I have green eyes, black for you and yellow for... momma Celestia?” Austin looked at the third layer with a head tilt.
“That is actually your soul color when you gained your confidence.” Celestia said lightly.
“Really?? I thought it was you or momma Luna if the other side was dark blue.”
“Nope, we made it yellow for your soul because it was your goal to fix your soul.” Luna said happily.
“Aww thank you everyone. It was a big achievement for me.”
“No problem dear, now let’s sing the birthday song.” Celestia said.
Everypony started to sing the birthday song.
Happy birthday to you,
“Blow out your candles dear.” Celestia said lightly.
Austin then blew out all of the candles in one blow. Celestia took a knife and started to cut the cake. She gave the first piece to Austin and then the rest of them. The piece that Austin got was a green piece on the top layer. The inside of the cake looked like cinnamon, as Austin took a bite of it, he started to taste cinnamon.
“Hmm it’s really soft and delicious. Thank you!” Austin said happily.
“Your welcome dear, but it was our chefs that made the cake for you.” Celestia said lightly.
“Well tell them that they did wonderfully.” Wingdings said.
“I will.” Celestia said.
As everyone was finished eating the cake, every pony gathered in a circle with their gifts and Austin was in the center of the circle.
“Which gift will you open first?” Celestia asked Austin.
“I’m not sure, theirs so many gifts here to pick first.” Austin said, looking at the gifts.
“Here dear you can take mine first if you want. Flurry Heart and I made something for you.” Cadance said softly.
Austin took Cadance’s gift first. It was wrapped in pink wrapping paper. Austin ripped the wrapping paper and looked inside the box. Inside the box was a drawing of a stick figure that looks like Austin. Austin saw some text on the top. What it said was...
“Happy 10th birthday uncle Austin!” - love princess Cadance, and Flurry Heart.
Austin also saw another object in their. It’s a cardboard heart. In one sides it’s says “Never give up on your dreams!”
“Awww I love this! Thank you Cadance and Flurry Heart.” Austin said as he hugged Cadance and Flurry Heart.
“No problem sweetie. I made the heart and text and Flurry Heart made the stick figure.
“Wait why didn’t Shining Armor sign this?” Austin asked curiously.
“Me and Cadance made a competition to see who’s gift is better.” Shining Armor said.
“Oh that’s always fun to do some competition.” Austin smiled.
“OHH ME NEXT!!!” Pinkie Pie excitedly said.
“Oh okay Pinkie Pie.” Austin giggled at her excitement.
Pinkie Pie gave her gift to Austin. The gift was a bit big compared to the other gifts. Austin started to rip the wrapping paper and when he opened the gift, confetti flew out of the box, which made Austin jump a bit. When he got the confetti off of his face, he saw a confetti cannon.
“Is this your cannon Pinkie?” Austin said curiously.
“Nope!! I made it by hoof, trying to make exactly as my cannon. It took me a while to make, but it’s worth it for my Austin Wustin.” Pinkie Pie petted his head.
“Aww that’s sweet. You didn’t need to make me one if it took you a while to make.”
“Nonsense, you need all the fun you can have and this always make me have fun all day!” Pinkie Pie jump up and down excitedly.
“Thank you Pinkie.” Austin smiled.
“Your welcome Austin Wustin!” Pinkie smiled too. The two hugged for a few seconds before they stopped the hugging.
“Hey Austin, wanna open my next?” Tempest asked Austin.
“Of course!” Austin said happily.
Tempest gave her present to Austin. The wrapping paper looked dark purple. Austin started to unwrap the gift and opened the box. He looked in the box and saw clothing, but metal like.
“This is body armor that I made from my old armor to fit you.”
“Woah, this is cool!” Austin said in awe. “Can I try it on?”
“Yeah, It’s your gift after all.” Tempest said happily.
Austin put the chest plate on and it fit snug on him. He placed the leggings on and it was a bit like shorts then leggings, but they fitted on him nicely.
“Ohh this is so cool! Thank you Tempest.” Austin said as he hugged Tempest.
“Heh, no problem bud.” Tempest returned the hug.
“Open ours next!” The CMC said in unison.
“Okay.” Austin said.
The three gave him their gifts. One looked to be a scooter and the two looked like regular boxes. Austin opened the scooter like gift first and no surprise about it, it was a scooter. Austin then opened Sweetie Belles gift next. He opened the box to see a not well made red cape. Austin opened Apple Blooms gift last. He opened the box and saw a wooden statue of himself in a heroic pose.
“Woah these are very cool! Thank you guys!” Austin smiled.
“Your welcome buddy!” The CMC said as they hugged Austin.
“Umm... if you want you can open mine...” Fluttershy said shyly.
“Okay, I’ll open your next.” Austin smiled.
Fluttershy gave her gift to Austin. It was a yellow and pink box. Austin opened the box and saw a bunny onesie that resembles Angel the bunny.
“Aww this is cute.” Austin aww’d.
“Rarity made i-it for me... but I wanted the design to be m-my Angel dear.” Fluttershy said shyly.
“I love it!” Austin said as he hugged Fluttershy.
“O-oh, I’m glad you like it.”
“Here open mine!” Luna said excitedly.
“Okay momma Luna.” Austin said happily.
Luna levitated her gift to Austin. The box was a night sky color. Austin opened the box and saw a dream catcher.
“A dream catcher?” Austin asked.
“Yep I made it myself.” Luna said happily.
“But don’t you fight nightmares?”
“Yes, but if I don’t get to your nightmare, this will.”
“Ohhh cool. Thank you momma Luna.” Austin said as he hugged Luna.
“Your welcome sweetie.”
“I was going to go last.... but I want you to have it now.” Celestia said happily.
Celestia levitated her gift to Austin. The box has suns over each side of the box. Austin opened the box to see a picture of all of them.
“This picture was from the day we officially adopted you into our family.” Celestia said happily.
Austin looked at the picture, he started to tear up a bit.
“Sweetie is everything alright?” Celestia said worriedly.
“Yeah, I’m fine... I’m just very happy. This moment was the best moment of my entire life.” Austin said as he wiped away his tears. “I love it momma, thank you!” Austin hugged Celestia.
“Aww I’m glad you love it. Don’t worry I’ll get a frame and put it on a wall or on a desk if you want.”
“I would love that.”
“Here take it.” Ember said as she put the gift to him. The box was light blue.
“Oh okay.” Austin said.
Austin opened the gift and saw a dragon scale.
“This was a last minute gift, so I yanked one of Garbles scale.” Ember said.
“That sounds painful.” Austin said.
“Oh yeah he squealed like a filly.” Ember snickered.
“Heh... thank you Ember.” Austin hugged Ember.
“No problem squirt… you can stop with the hugging now.”
“Oh right... not a hugger still.”
“Here you go sugarcube.” Applejack said happily.
Applejack gave the gift to Austin. The box had apples on each side. Austin opened the gift and saw a cowboy hat.
“Ohh a cowboy hat!” Austin said happily.
“Yup I made it just for ya.”
“Aww thank you Applejack.” Austin hugged Applejack.
“Your welcome sugarcube.”
“Here have my gift.” Thorax said happily.
“Okay Thorax.” Austin said.
The box was covered with sparkles. Austin opened the gift and saw a clay doll.
“Oh this looks cool. Thank you Thorax.” Austin hugged Thorax.
“Your welcome.”
“Here take mine next!” Twilight said excitedly.
Twilight gave her gift to Austin. The box was a purple color. Austin opened the gift and saw a book. The book said “Daring Do Special Edition”.
“This book has all the Daring Do books combined together. So if your bored, you can read them.” Twilight smiled.
“I love Daring Do! Thank you Twilight!” Austin hugged Twilight.
“Your welcome hunny.”
“Here take mine next” Starlight said.
“Okay.” Austin said.
The box was a light purple color. Austin opened the gift and saw a spell book.
“This spell book can help you get new powers, or if they don’t work for you, Wingdings can use them... maybe.”
“Ohh I might try to use it! Thank you.” Austin hugged Starlight.
“Your welcome Austin.”
“Here you go darling. I do hope you enjoy it.” Rarity said happily.
“I’m sure I will too.” Austin smiled.
The box had a big ribbon on the top of the box. Austin opened the gift and saw a hat. The hat was pure black and the brim was red.
“I know you already got a hat, but I hope you like it.”
“Are you kidding, I love it! It looks cool as well.”
“Oh I’m glad deary.” Rarity hugged Austin.
“Here you go buddy.” Spike said.
Spike gave his gift to Austin. The box was a green color. Austin opened the gift and saw some gems. Austin saw some rubies, sapphires and many other gems.
“I picked them out myself and I had to fight the urge to eat them.” Spike scratched the back of his head.
“These are beautiful, thank you Spike.” Austin hugged Spike.
“No problem bud.”
“Here take my gift and see if you like it better than Cadances.” Shining Armor said.
The box was a white color. Austin got the fairly big gift and opened it. Inside was a sword and shield.
“Woah! This is cool.” Austin said in awe.
“I knew you were going to say that. So who’s better, mine or hers?”
“…Both.”
“Both?!” The two said in unison.
“Yeah, I love them equally.”
“Well I guess it’s a tie.” Shining Amor laughed.
“Here have my awesome gift I picked out for you.” Rainbow Dash said.
The box was like a rainbow color. Rainbow Dash gave the gift to Austin and he started to open it. What he saw was a poster of Rainbow Dash with the Wonderbolts. She also signed her name on the poster.
“Oh wow, I heard you were in the Wonderbolts, but I didn’t know you were in a poster with them.” Austin said in awe.
“Hehe, yeah I’m that great that they put me in a poster.” Rainbow Dash bragged. Everyone looked at her with a deadpan expression.
“This is awesome! Thank you Rainbow.” Austin hugged Rainbow Dash.
“No problem kid.” Rainbow Dash smiled.
The last gift was from the Young Six. The box had a flame drawing on one side, scales on a other side, an ocean on another side and dark green. They handed the gift to Austin to open.
“Here you go! This was from all of us. We hope you enjoy it.” Silverstream smiled.
Austin started to open the gift and he saw a picture of the Young Six and him in a group picture. The picture was already framed with a wooden frame.
“Oh I remember this. This was the time when we became friends. This was also a important moment for me since I made friends in school.” Austin said happily.
“Yeah we wanted to have a photo for you to have if we go our separate ways.” Ocellus smiled lightly.
“This is great! Thank you everyone.” Austin hugged the Young Six. He stopped the hugging and turned to everyone. “Thank you everyone for these gifts, but the best gift is having such a loving family and amazing friends.”
Everyone aww’d and went to Austin to give him a group hug, except for Gallus, Ember and Smolder. Austin returned the hug by using two tentacles to stretch around the group. The stopped the hugging and the party resumed. After a few hours of playing and talking, everyone started to leave. They all said their goodbyes to Austin and they left. Austin, Celestia, Luna and Wingdings stayed up for a bit, talking with each other, but Austin began to yawn a bit.
“It looks like our birthday boy is getting sleepy.” Luna giggled.
“Indeed sister, let’s bring you to bed now deary.” Celestia said softly.
“Okay momma Celestia.” Austin said sleepily. “Goodnight momma Luna.”
“Goodnight sweetie, sleep tight.”
Celestia levitated Austin on her back and started to walk to his bedroom. They got to his bedroom, opened the door and Celestia put Austin in his bed.
“Goodnight, my birthday boy.” Celestia said softly.
“Goodnight momma. I love you.” Austin smiled.
“I love you too.” Celestia kissed Austin on the cheek. “Sweet dreams my dear.”
“Sweet dreams momma.”
“Have a good night sleep, honey.”
“Night momma.”
Celestia started to leave the room and Celestia closed the door. Austin put the dream catcher that Luna got in he center of his bed wall and begun to shut his eyes and eventually fell asleep.
*The Next Day*
It’s a sunny day with no clouds to be seen. Austin was sound asleep, but eventually he woke himself up. He stretch his arms and he heard a crack on one of them. Austin got out of the bed and got dressed. As he got his clothes on, he opened the door. As he walked out, he heard a crunch at his feet. He looked down and saw a envelope on the floor.
Huh a letter? I wonder who this could be? Austin said to himself.
