S'mores

Chapter 1

Applejack lay still on her bed.  The darkness swallowed her up and soothed her sleepless eyes.  She stared straight up at the ceiling, barely able to distinguish its features.

She could feel her heart pumping softly, underlying her level breathing.  She could feel the heat from the body next to her.  She could hear the subtle breathing from her partner, faster than her own breath, but relaxed all the same.

She stared up at the ceiling through the darkness.  The ceiling didn't change.  She felt the chill of the dark night creep up on her.  The darkness didn't change.  She listened to the soft sound of the breathing next to her...

"Applejack..." the other whispered softly "...I...I still love you.  Nothing is going to change that."

Applejack stayed silent.

"Please Applejack...I don't want to lose you because...of..."

The two sat in silence for a few moments longer.  Applejack couldn't hear the silent breaths anymore.

She took a deep breath instead.

"Ah think we should think things ov'r a bit."  She shifted herself to slide off the bed.

"Applejack, wait, I-"

"Ah'll be right back.  'm just going to clear mah head fer a bit."  She reached the door way to the room.  " 'n Rarity?" she stoped and looked back at the white mare underneath her messy blankets "Ah- I'm sorry I snapped at you like that."

The door clicked shut, and Rarity was left alone in the room.

Two months ago...

"...and Ah'm tellin' yah, Twilight, I can't get anythin'!  It's like I'm all dried up!" Applejack told her friend.

Twilight paced back and forth in the tree house library.  She hasn't been this worried since last Tuesday when Pinkie invited her to play "Extreme Jacks".  She picked up one of the books off of the center island table and skimmed a few pages.

"Applejack, I don't know what to tell you," Twilight said quickly.  "This genetic disorder is strange and mostly unknown.  There's almost no information on it previously reco-"

"You gotta help me Twah!  I'm a nervus reck b'cause a' it!"

"And, I said I don't know what to do!" she shouted.  "Constantly reminding me of your troubles won't fix any of this!"

"Well, maybe if you tried, ya would'a already had th' answers bah now!"

"I am trying!!"

The thunder outside cracked loudly.  Neither pony realized that the door to the library was opened until it was too late.  Just inside the doorway they beheld a figure silhouetted against the flash of the lightening.

As their visions returned, the figure was replaced by Rarity's visage, wearing some odd sort of raincoat which was soaked.  She shuddered against the storm's cold drafts for a moment before venturing in.

"The storm outside is absolutely dreadful!" she said "I almost couldn't come to our little slumber party because of it!"  Rarity's coat dripped onto the floor, creating a small puddle around her hooves.

"Rarity!  You didn't walk all the way from your home in this rain, did you?" Twilight asked.

"I did!  I knew the storm was already scheduled for tonight, but when I heard that you were running low on groceries, I just had to pick some things up on the way here.  Now we won't have to forgo the s'mores just because one of us was forgetful."

"Rarity!" Applejack spoke with volume "So glad you could join us.  Perhaps ya'll c'n help me out of uh d'lema here."

"Applejack, I'm not sure now is the best time to tell Rarity about this,"  Twilight interjected with some uncalled for volume as well, "this might upset her."

"Well, as lon' as Ah'm th' one wi' tha prablems, Ah should be tha one ta tell whoever Ah please!"

"Yes, But are you really sure you want to tell Rarity?!"

"Girls, please!"  It was Rarity who shouted this time  "You shouldn't be arguing right now!  We are supposed to be having fun tonight.  What could possibly be the matter?"

The other two were quiet.  Twilight seemed anxious, while Applejack only seemed sullen.  The patter of rain outside became more obvious in the moment of silence, and the smell of chocolate wafted over the three.  The warmth of the library warmed Rarity enough to let her relax her chilled back a bit.

Twilight shifted on her hooves before finally speaking at length "Maybe we can talk about it with some of those s'mores." She looked at Applejack who only gave a small nod in response.

"Thank you Twilight," Rarity responded.

Three marshmallows were held above a fire in the library fireplace.  Aside from the crackle of the flames and the storm outside the library was all but silent.

One of the marshmallows was toasted to a golden brown on one side.  Another was still it's original glossy shade of white.  The last one was simply burnt.

Twilight shifted uncomfortably.  She was hardly breathing.  She didn't seem to be at all interested in the fact that her marshmallow was in fact black now.  Still, her eyes were fixed on the flames just past the edge of her stick.

Next to her, the orange coated farmer sighed heavily.  She turned to the seamstress.

"Alright, Rarity, here's th' basic idea," she began.

"Applejack..." the librarian muttered.  Said farmer turned toward her.  She met no response aside from the wary look in the unicorn's

Her own eyes were stern and decisive.  The librarian turned her head away.

The earth pony sighed again.

"Rarity...Ah've recently discovered that Ah have sum sort of genetic disease."

"I'm sorry to hear that Applejack," came the white unicorn's reply "you must be going through a rough time."

"Ah'll say.  Ah mean, it messes wi' mah sex drive.  I c'n hardly sleep at naht b'cus of it," she paused "don't get me started on whut it does t'mah workload."

"Indeed!" the unicorn replied again "perhaps what you need is a good stallion in your life.  What did you say the disorder was again?  I do not know the specifics, but it always helps to know what one is dealing with."

"Right, of course.  Ah have...uh, whatchya call it again, Twah?"

The purple mare jumped at the mention of her name.  She opened her mouth to speak, but hesitated, looking back and forth between the two ponies.

"Voraposcus..." she said quietly "you have voraposcus.  It literally means...a drive o-or need to...consume."

"Right, that.  Ah'm not really sher what it's all about, but basicly mah body's all messed up an'...Rarity are you lisn'n?"

The white unicorn wasn't looking at the farmer, but instead at the librarian.  "When you say...'consume,' you don't mean..."

"To consume, as in to eat another pony?  To swallow their body whole and alive?" the mare responded "Yes Rarity, it does.  Because of Applejack's rare disorder, she must eat somepony to have sexual fulfillment."  It was hard to tell, but the mare's eyes hinted at contemptment.

The unicorn's expression was more of shock, her jaw agape, and her eyes wide.  She could hardly make an audible sound.

"To be specific, she has a completely unique anatomy; there are highly sensitive nerves throughout her digestive system that would normally be found in the genitalia of any average pony."  The mare was now looking at the farmer again, this time focusing more on her midsection.  "Her skull and ribcage have several more joints compared to ours, and resembles something closer to a snake."  She smiled softly, but the annoyance was still in her eyes. "Is there anything more you'd like to know?"

The white unicorn's expression softened as she too stared at the powerful earth pony in a different light.  The rain drizzled on in the lapse.

"Bah, yew wer right, Twilight," the farmer spat "Ah shouldn'a told 'er.  At this rate, Ah 'ain't ever findin' hel-"

"I'll help!" the unicorn interrupted "I- I mean," she cleared her throat "I assume you would be asking for somepony to submit to you to help you control your sexual urges, am I correct?"

"Well, I guess..."

"I think I can help you in that regard."

"Ya mean yew can find someone who'd be willin'?"

"No Applejack," Rarity said " I believe I can be the one to submit to your condition."

"Aw, Rar, you don' haf'ta do som'im like that."

"No, no, I insist.  It's what friends are for."

"Well, if ya'll certain, then, sure, Ah'll take yew up on tha' offer."

Rarity raised her still uncooked marshmallow into the air.  "To Applejack, for finding an elegant solution to her problem."

Applejack raised her own stick, crossing it with her friend's.  "To havin' great friends!"

Twilight ate her blackened ball of culinary failure.

Yesterday...

Twilight sipped her tea at a local restaurant while Applejack sat with her, enjoying a simple sandwich of lettuce and tomatoes.  The latter wore a relaxed smile.

"...and apple production has gone up bah twenty percent this past month alone.  Why, Ah don't think it's ever been this high."

"You've certainly out done yourself Applejack."

"Well, Ah'll say!  We're so high, we need t' git a new chart to keep track o' it all!"  She took a large bit of her sandwich.  "Speaking of high," she said around the sandwich "how's Rainbowdash?  Did ya..."

"Yes, we settled it.  Don't worry we had a...long talk."

"Well, that's good t' hear.  Ah mean, you've been gone fer quite a while now, Ah was worried sumthin' bad might have happened."

"Yeah..." Twilight smiled before taking another sip.  Neither spoke for a moment, both focusing on their meals.

"By the way, how's Rarity?  I haven't seen her in a while."  Twilight said.

"Oh, she's just fine.  She's actually started living in mah place after we started dating."

"Oh, yeah?  Is she still...servicing you?"

"Yah mean lettin' me eat her?  Yeh, she's real good about that.  In fact, tha's pretty much why we hooked up."

Twilight raised an eye brow.

"Well, she's just bein' so nice about mah problem, that I wanted to return th' favor.  So after a while we started havin' sex before Ah ate her each night.  Well, it was more like Ah'd eat her after Ah eat her out."

Applejack leaned back in her chair. "Soon after that, we stated havin' dinner together every once in a while.  We really got to know each other..."  She smiled idly, lost in thought.  "She confessed her love t' me one evening..."

Twilight took another sip, her lips wordless.

"Yesir, if it weren't fer that problem, Ah wouldn't have such a great relationship with her," Applejack said, leaning forward again "now, Ah know it's only been about a month 'n all...but Ah think Ah've been lovin' her longer than she did."

Twilight's cup clattered onto the table, its contents spilling out onto the wooden table.  She didn't seem to care.

"Uh, somthin' wrong Twi?"

Twilight hesitated for the last time.  "Applejack, you said this relationship stemmed from your 'problem,' right?"

Applejack nodded.

"The problem being a genetic disease called voraposcus?"  She wasn't focused on Applejack, turned away as if watching somepony else.  She seemed to be telling herself the facts at this point.

"You leave for a couple months..." She said under her breath.

"Applejack," she now said aloud "I have been keeping a secret for Rarity for a while, but I can't do so any longer.  I can't let this continue."

"W-whaddya mean?" the farmer asked "what secret?"

"The secret that Rarity is a voraphile," the librarian said sternly.

"Um...translation?"

"Vorarephilia.  It's a genetic disease, like yours, except instead of changing her body, it changes her mind.  To fully explain it would be too complicated.  Basically, Rarity is sexually attracted to the idea of being eaten, or watching somepony be eaten."

"Well, that's great!  Considerin' th' situatio-"

"Don't you understand what this means?  She's been using you.  From the day she learned about your problem, she has been using you to fulfill her fantasy.  That's why I didn't want her to know.  I didn't want this to happen."

The farmer stared at her, dumbfounded "but...she wouldn't do that, she's so..."

"Kind?  We both know how manipulative she is."

The farmer looked down at her hooves, furrowing her brow in concentration.  "Wait, how would you know tha' about her?"

"It's because...it's because I also have vorarephilia.  At least, it wasn't always prevalent, but it recently came up.  I came to Rarity for advice on how to control my sexual urges...a few months after that she came to me for help.  It seemed that she developed it herself, or at least it became active, and she didn't take it well.  She was a nervous wreck when she did..."

The apple farmer sat silently as the librarian finished her story.  The local librarian didn't look the farmer in the eye.  The orange pony contemplated the information.  The purple mare simply waited for a response.  Most of the spilled tea was dried up now.  It's former owner righted the upturned cup.  The other stood up to leave.

"Applejack," the librarian said with concern "...don't be too harsh."

Applejack turned and left.

Applejack sat at the edge of the bed.  The orange glow of the lamp agitated her eyes.  She hadn't seen her partner since the day before.  She thought about what the mage scholar said.  The warm blankets seemed to glow on their own.  Rarity would be back soon. The lines on the wood door seemed to move in the low light.  Rarity would expect to have her way tonight.

A thump sounded outside.  Applejack guessed it'd be her.  Applejack didn't move from her spot on the bed.  She listened to the sound of the hoof steps.  They were anything but consistent.

Applejack sighed, preparing herself for the conversation she was about to have.  The door knob turned.

"Oh, Applejack~" Rarity sang as she gracefully slid through the doorway "I hope you're ready for a long night, because I sure am~"

She kissed Applejack's cheek before climbing onto the bed.  She lay on her side, letting her curvous hips display themselves lustily.  The wicked smile and the half lidded eyes came to life on her face.

Applejack was not quick to respond, she didn't even look at her.  She instead let the mood pass before speaking.

"Applejack?" the white mare said "is there something the matter?"

"Rarity...what's vorarephilia?"

The mare's expression flickered for a moment.  "Whatever do you mean?  I have never heard of such a term."

"Rarity," Applejack said more sternly "what it vorarephilia?"

The unicorn didn't respond.  Applejack sighed.

"Rarity, do you love me?"

"...of...of course I do."

"And you wouldn't lie to me, would you?"

She stayed silent.

"Rarity...when were you gunna tell me you were using me t' satisfy yourself?"

"Applejack...I'm sorry, I don't-"

"Don't tell me your sorry!" Applejack said in a raised voice "When were you gunna tell me?"

She tried to form words, but her throat was clenched.

"Rarity, I don't appreciate a lie,"  Applejack was now facing the mare.  "the last thing Ah want is to know you've been lying to me jus' to get off."

She was still silent.  She shook her head.

"...What do you have t' say for yourself?  And don't tell me tha' it was only that way in th' beggining.  I don't want to hear about how you've changed, or how you-"

"You were using me just as much as I was using you," Rarity interrupted "you weren't the only one who couldn't take it anymore."  There were now tears in her eyes "I had a normal life up to the point I started having these feelings, these odd cravings!  Day after day, I couldn't keep myself together.  I was looking for anyway out!"

The farmer's expression softened and changed with her story.

"You were a miracle!  You were the one thing that could save me from that mess.  What would you have said if I said all of that back then?"

Rarity's tearful eyes locked with the farmer's.  The farmer was speechless.  The passion in Rarity's voice was overwhelming.  Applejack realized she was holding her breath.

The lamp's light bulb burnt out.

Now.

Applejack stumbled downstairs into the kitchen.  The low lighting only made it harder to navigate.  She bumped into two chairs before finding the table and sitting down at it.  She held her head in her hooves, unmoving in the darkness.

What was she going to do now?  Rarity lied to her.  She deliberately didn't tell her why she wanted to help her in this specific ordeal.  She never confessed her feelings before.  She always covered up her problems.

But she had good reason to.  Applejack wouldn't have given her a chance if she knew Rarity was what she was.  It was necessary to keep her secret safe if she were to be satisfied.

Then again, she did have four other friends who lived locally and didn't have genetic diseases to cope with.  She could have easily explained to them her problem and gotten help in a different way.  Applejack wasn't sure how else Rarity could have been helped, but Twilight's smart, Fluttershy's kind, they'll think of something.

Applejack let her head rest on the table now.  Its chill waking her up a little bit.

Applejack was going to have to break it off with Rarity.  She was in a tough spot.  They both were.  It still didn't excuse her actions.

Applejack took a deep breath, letting the cool night air into her system.

Applejack could now see it.  Just on the other side of the table was a plate with ... something on it.

She lifted herself to inspect it.  It was a s'more.  An uncooked one, but one nonetheless.

There was also a note in front of the plate.  It was written in the most elegant cursive.  Rarity must have written this card.  On the front was written "A Toast."

On the inside she found it read "To Rarity, for finding the most beautiful mare in Equestria.  May you live a long and happy life together."

Applejack held the note.  She read it a few times over.  The sun began to peak over the horizon, spreading a soft orange blue light across the land.  Applejack looked back toward the stairs.  A soft smile formed on her lips.

The put the card down and made her way back upstairs.

Applejack quietly entered the room, carefully shutting the door behind her.  She slipped into bed next to Rarity.  She gave her partner a kiss.

"Applejack..." Rarity whispered "I am sorry...I don't want to hurt you again.  You were right, I shouldn't have-"

Applejack put a hoof to her lips.  She smiled softly.  Rarity's eyes began to tear up.

Applejack opened her mouth wide, letting Rarity see the detail of the throat.  Her warm breath rolled over skin and fur.  Rarity started to cry.

Slowly, Applejack pushed Rarity's head into her gaping maw.  Her tongue immediately brushed up and down Rarity's cheeks and neck, mixing saliva into her fur.  Applejack pushed Rarity in further, fitting her lips around the base of her neck.

As Rarity's head finally reached the throat, Applejack shuddered, then swallowed.  She widened her lips to take in her shoulders before her neck made it too far into the mouth.

Now, with the difficult part out of the way, Applejack could swallow more easily and more pleasurably.  Rarity's arms were pressed against her sides as her shoulders entered Applejack's throat.

Rarity's head was now in Applejack's core.  She could hear the steady, but rising heart beat.  The warmth was all around her.  Applejack was all around her.  This time, not just as a friend, but truly a lover.  This time, instead of being selfish and swallowing her quickly, Applejack was letting Rarity enjoy the ride.  Yes, Applejack still loved her.

Rarity's belly slipped into the orange lips.  As her waist slid into her throat, her wide hips were already being conquered by Applejack's lips, slowly stretching over them as more of Rarity disappeared into her throat.

Applejack's swallowing became more rhythmic, dragging her lover's cutiemark in inch by inch.  Applejack's tongue slipped between her legs to get a better anchor, brushing past her neathers as she did, sending a jolt through Rarity, and by extension, through Applejack as well.

Rarity's thighs slid into the throat.  Her calves dangling just outside the lips.  A few more swallows, and only her hooves touched the cold air.  The last few inches of her legs slid past the throat as Applejack's lips started to wrap around her hooves.

With a final lick, Applejack cupped Rarity's hooves with her tongue, and swallowed a few times, taking them into her gullet.

Rarity was curled up tight in Applejack's stomach.  She was warm all over, and soaked in saliva.  She licked some of it off of her hoof.  It tasted of apples.

Applejack held her distended belly, rubbing the parts she could reach.

"I still love you Rarity," said the crude apple farmer.

"I...I love you too," responded the pristine seamstress.
