The First Installment of the Save My Life Series

We all wonder what true happiness is in life. And then there is joy, something very different from happiness. For Caleb, he thought he knew what that was, but a series of tragic events in his childhood plus physical abuse in his household changed it all. With his hardened heart, he ends up in Equestria and eventually encounters the Mane Six. They try to reach out, but he distances himself from them. Twilight feels something is going on with him and tries to examine further, but his heart is filled with years of hatred and rage. He tries to find something more in life, but what if it was right in front of him with the pony that seriously cares about him? Can Twilight shatter and heal Caleb's stone cold heart, or will Caleb completely shut himself out from everyone he has come into contact with?
