Untamed Love
It was a bright and beautiful day in Ponyville, and Derpy Hooves was redelivering mail, as usual, to the correct houses; her eyes were bugging her again, making it very difficult to get the addresses right. In fact, she had already been sent to the optometrist for correctional maintenance, but the doctor had said that she was fine and her eyes just had “minds of their own”. This was said jokingly, but Derpy worried that there might be something honestly wrong with her. Strangely enough, she could still fly straight just fine… Maybe she was just bad with directions and addresses.
As she picked up the next piece of mail, she noticed that she could easily read the name printed on it. After all, it was only the coolest pony in town, and her reputation as a fast mailmare depended on getting this one right. Who better to judge speed than the swift-natured Rainbow Dash?
So, stowing her mouthful of mail back into her bag, she carefully placed Dash’s letter beneath her wing and zoomed off to the cloudy house of the rainbow-colored pony. Once she got there, she knocked on the door; nopony answered. This was weird, seeing as how Dash had taken to being her house far more often, reading books and napping in her comfortable bed as opposed to the hard tree branches and shifting clouds.
Derpy was disappointed, and was about to put the letter in her mailbox instead, but decided to take a look around and she if she could spot Dash from any of the windows. So, walking around to the back, she happened to see her friend; what she saw made her face flood crimson. Dash was taking a shower and singing “Giggle at the Ghosties”. Entranced by both the sight and her voice, she decided to watch her pal naked and see how long it took her to notice her.
Unfortunately, Dash didn’t take long to notice Derpy staring at her longingly from outside. Yanking the shower curtain over herself, she gasped, “Derpy? What are you doing here? How long have you been watching?! You should know better than to spy on ponies, least of all me!”
Seeing that her friend was obviously simultaneously furious and embarrassed, Derpy replied, “I’m sorry Dash! I just couldn’t help but stare! You just have such a beautiful body and your singing voice is amazing!”
“SO?! That doesn’t mean you can watch me when I’m in the shower!”
“But-!”
“No buts! What are you even doing out there anyway? Shouldn’t you be delivering mail?”
“That’s actually what I came over to do Dash… You see, I was looking through my bag when I saw a letter addressed to you. I figured that I’d deliver it as priority mail so that I could see you.” Flustered, she had accidentally spoken what she was thinking instead of what was most likely more appropriate under such circumstances. This did not help her blushing, which at that moment decided to get worse.
“That’s sweet, but do you really think that you should spy on me when I don’t answer the door?”
Pissed off now, Derpy rebutted, “Will you stop bringing that up? I already apologized! Maybe you should listen harder or leave a note or something when you’re going to take a shower! In fact, I don’t even know why I bothered delivering your mail off-schedule! Take your dumb bucking letter!” Opening her wing, she launched the letter straight into Dash’s face and stormed off, her eyes much worse now than they were before due to her frustration.
“What’s her problem,” Dash wondered. Luckily, she had managed to catch the letter before it fallen in the bathtub. Opening it, she noticed that it was from Pinkie Pie. The letter was an invitation to a “special party” for just the two of them.
Drying off, she decided she had best go see what was up. After all, the invitation had no details on it. Knowing Pinkie, it was probably more pranks. So, still wondering about both the letter and Derpy, Dash left her house and set out for Sugarcube Corner.

At the same time, Derpy Hooves was in her house, crying her eyes out. ‘I should deliver the mail, but BUCK that…. I can’t believe she was so mean to me…. I just don’t know what went wrong… Was it the fact that it wasn’t her precious Pinkie Pie looking in on her? It’s not like everypony else doesn’t already know. Maybe she should just be stuck up her ass all day!”
Realizing how venomous her thoughts were, Derpy immediately felt bad. ‘I shouldn’t be upset with Dash. It was my fault for spying on her.’ Aloud, she said, “I’m going to go apologize to Dash and see if I can’t fix this”.

While Derpy and Dash were contemplating what was to come, Pinkie Pie was preparing things for Dash (or, as she alone was allowed to call her, Dashie). Her party decorations were already up, and all she needed now was for her guest of honor to arrive. It was funny, actually, that Dashie thought that Pinkie didn’t know about her attraction to her; Pinkie had known for months. Ironic, seeing as how it was Fluttershy that she decided to kiss during the fight with the changeling army; but Pinkie now knew that was just a kiss of relief, not affection. No, Dashie’s infatuation was for her alone apparently.
Pinkie laughed softly to herself. It was amazing how long she had withheld her feelings from Dashie, seeing as how she had loved her ever since that bitch Gilda had tried to tear them apart. But, then again, that was what the party was for. Once she saw what Pinkie had planned, she would become putty in Pinkie’s hooves, malleable and submissive.
Smiling and cackling in earnest now, Pinkie sat at her window so she would see Dashie first.
A.N. Well, first chapter is done! WOOOO! But anyway, on the off chance that somepony does in fact read this, I hope you will leave all constructive criticism in the comments section. This is my first fic, so advice is greatly appreciated. As for the dialogue, it’s dialogue! It doesn’t have to adhere to any grammar rules whatsoever!
