"Oh no." Rainbow grunted as she gazed up. She froze .Right in front of her was a Mistletoe. And right in front of her was Fluttershy. Of course it’s Fluttershy out of all ponies!

Everypony stopped and stared,waiting for something happen. Everything seemed to freeze as they waited.

"You know the rules dashi. " Pinkie jumped in. She grinned. "Whoever lands under it have kiss."

"Fine." Rainbow leaned in and quickly placed a peck on the side of Fluttershy’s cheek. She backed away and growled. "There. Everypony can go back to their business."

"What kind of kiss was that? That was just a peck!" Pinkie waved her hooves up. "You gotta kiss her like you mean it dash! That's the whole point!"

Rainbow really didn't want to do this. "Fluttershy might not like it, right shy?"

They all turned to look at her.

Fluttershy stepped closer and smiled softly. “Actually. I don't mind. If it's okay with you Rainbow."

Rainbow eyes widen. Everyone else gasped. This was unexpected!

"Of course it's alright. Just do it." Rainbow mummbled. She waited a second. Was she supposed to start the kiss? But she doesn't want to mess it up again and Pinkie will force them to do it again. So what should she do?

Fluttershy came closer. Rainbow gazed at her and it looked like her eyes burned into her soul. Wait a second, Fluttershy is going to lead the kiss!? what???!

She sat down in front of her. Everypony waited and leaned in closer. Fluttershy raised her hoof and gently placed it on Rainbow’s cheek. Rainbow couldn't move and she froze as Fluttershy' calm eyes stared deeply into her. Fluttershy slowly began to lean in with slowly closing eyes. This was it! Rainbow copied her and leaned in as well. Their lips met in a soft kiss. Everypony cheered. Fluttershy raised up her wing and blocked their faces.

Everyone booed. Rainbow didn't know what to do. She kissed plenty of ponies in the past. But this kiss felt different. And out of all ponies Fluttershy was okay with kissing her on the lips. Why? The real Fluttershy would be embarrassed and would mostly decline because too many ponies were watching. This was totally different. It was like Fluttershy wanted to kiss her. But maybe it's just the Mistletoe. And she was just following the rules. Stop making things up dash. It's just a kiss. Nothing more.

Rainbow noticed that the kiss went longer then expected. Until finally Fluttershy slowly pulled away. She smiled softly as she lowered her hoof and her wing. She gazed away as everypony cheered and stomped their hoofs. Fluttershy’s cheeks turned a pink as she gave Rainbow a soft nod and smile.

"See? That wasn't so hard!" Pinkies pulled Rainbow away with a side hug. Fluttershy smiled once more before turning around and began talking with Twilight and other ponies. Pinkie sighed she leaned over Rainbow’s shoulder. Man that was pretty cute. Who knew Fluttershy would lead a kiss like that? She's getting bolder everyday."

"Yeah she is." Rainbow shook the thought of her best friend liking her like that. It was just a kiss. Nothing more. Rainbow glared at Pinkie."So. I hope there's no more Mistletoe Pinkie. I'm not in the mood for kissing more ponies tonight."

"Don't worry it's just one." Pinkie grinned. "I wish I was under it with Twilight."

Rainbow blinked. "You like twilight? Like like?"

"Yep. She's just so awesome you know? And I never seen her with anypony so I don't know if she's into mares or not." Pinkie gazed toward Twilight’s direction. She sighed softly.

Rainbow grinned. "Well, only one way to find out. I got an idea Pinkie. Follow my lead.”

Rainbow headed toward where Twilight was talking with Fluttershy and a few others.

"Hey Twilight. Follow me for a second."

She noticed Fluttershy looking at her with unreadable eyes.Rainbow blinked. Why is that?

"What's up Rainbow?" Twilight asked as Rainbow stopped next to Pinkie. “Do you need other drink or something?”

She grinned as began to walk away. Twilight blinked and gazed at Pinkie for answers.

"Hey Twilight." Pinkie said. She gulped as she felt her hoofs turn weak. "How's.. hows it going?"

"Rainbow asked me to follow her but she walked away without saying anything and-" She stopped as she noticed more ponies were looking at them and it slowly began to get quite. Twilight blinked then gazed up. "Oh. Looks like we're under it like Fluttershy and Rainbow."

"Yeah. Looks like it." Pinkie said. She began to panic. Maybe this wasn't a good idea. She waved her hoofs up. "But we don't have to if you don't want to."

"No,it's fine. I'll lead. So close your eyes.” Twilight leaned in and rested her hoofs on Pinkie’s shoulders. Pinkie stared wide eyed as Twilight leaned in and gave her a soft kiss. Everyponycheered and stomped their hoofs happily once more.Twilight pulled herself away and smiled at the crowd. "Now it's hope we don't have to kiss all night. I got ponies to talk to. I'll see you in a bit Pinkie."

Pinkie still hasn't moved from her stop and was still dazed as Twilight walked away. Rainbow padded up next to her, a huge teasing smile on her face.

"Soooo how was it?"

"Amazing." Pinkie mumbled softly. She gazed away from Twilight and sighed happily. "Thanks dash."

"I think she likes mares Pinkie or maybe both stallions and mares. She didn't really reject to kiss you. Thou you do look like a good kisser." Rainbow playfully punched her shoulder. Her eyes drifted into the crowd where she locked eyed with Fluttershy and once again her expression was unreadable but the moment Rainbow’s eyes made contact with hers she looked away. Rainbow blinked. That was werid. She shook her head and brought her attention back to Pinkie.

Pinkie frowned as she noticed her friend being weird. "Something wrong dash?"

"I don't know." Rainbow admitted after a moment. "Fluttershy is acting kinda weird towards me since we kissed."

"Maybe you should talk to her about it. Maybe she wants to get you alone and tell you..." Pinkie leaned in closer and whispered. "That you have very bad breath."

"I do not!" Rainbow laughed and punched her shoulder. Pinkie grinned. "But you're right!I should talk to her. I just... I have a feeling.."

"Feeling?" Pinkie blinked.

"That she likes me.. maybe more as a friend. Or maybe it was just the Mistletoe. Or maybe it's all in my head. She keeps looking at me Pinkie. I don't know what to do."

"Well honestly who wouldn't like you? If Twilight never came to ponyville. I would've definitely asked you out."

"You're not so bad yourself.." Rainbow laughed along with her friend. Suddenly she noticed Fluttershy gazing at her once more. Rainbow shook her head. "I gotta talk to her about it or else it’s gonna drive me crazy. Wish me luck."

"What a good luck kiss?"

Rainbow rolled her eyes playfully. "Maybe later."

Rainbow slowly made her way toward Fluttershy who smiled softly as she came closer.

"Hey shy? Can I talk to you outside for a bit?"

"Of course Rainbow."

Rainbow opened the door and held it open as Fluttershy walked out. It was dark and the stars were out. The moon shined brightly. And there was a nice cool breeze.

They were both completely alone. Fluttershy rested her hoofs on the rail as she gazed up at the stares. Rainbow copied her and gazed up for a moment. For a few minutes the two sat in silence. Rainbow didn't know where to start but she had to start somewhere.

"Hey shy? Look... I just want to say something."

Fluttershy gazed at her with a smile. "You can say anything Rainbow. We're best friends."

Rainbow sighed. She had to tell her friend what was going on.

"I feel like there’s a weird feeling between us ever since we kissed. And I gotta admit. Your lips are really soft."

Fluttershy blushed and gazed away for a moment. She smiled as she looked back at Rainow. "Yours are too."

Rainbow smiled at the compliment. "But..you didn't well.. hesitate or reject to kiss me...it was like you wanted to kiss me. And.. you've been staring at me shy. Is.. is there something you'll like to tell me?"

Fluttershy gazed at her hoofs. "Is it wrong wanting to kiss you Rainbow? It was Mistletoe after all and you're my best friend. I wouldn't mind you kissing me. I trust you."

Rainbow sighed softly. Maybe she read the signs wrong. "I'm sorry. I guess I just began to over think. That you actually liked me more then a friend."

Fluttershy played with her hoofs and she whispered softly barely enough for Rainbow to hear. "And what if I did?"

Rainow blinked as Fluttershy stared at her. The same expression she was giving her all night. Fluttershy took a soft breath.

"Because I..I-I do Rainbows. I really like you. The moment I saw that I could kiss you ...I couldn't describe how happy I was deep inside. I could finally kiss you for the first and last time because I know it'll never happen again. I didn't mean to stare at you all night. You're amazing to look at and I desperately wanted to kiss you again. But I knew I couldn't but that didn't stop myself from staring at you. I hoped that you didn't notice but of course you did." Fluttershy sighed softly. "I..I'm sorry if I ruined your night Rainbow. I promise after tonight I won't be staring at you like that. So let's go back inside and pretend that everything is normal."

"Wait. You can't just say all that and just leave like that shy!" Rainbow snapped out of her trance.

Fluttershy frowned. "But I know that you don't feel the same Rainbow. I know that I'm not your type. You'll be better off with Pinkie then with me."

"Fluttershy.."

"C-can we please go back inside?" Fluttershy felt scared and her eyes began to water. Rainbow frowned as she noticed it. "We should go back to the party."

"Fluttershy I'm sorry. I just.. I never knew that ..how long?"

"Do I really have to answer?" Fluttershy mummbled softly. Rainbows eyes widen.

"Shy..I.."

"Rainbow please. You don't feel the same and I'm okay with it. I knew for a long time." Fluttershy wiped away her watery eyes. "Im going back inside."

Rainbow gripped her shoulders and pulled her back. Fluttershys widen as they stood nearly muzzle it muzzle. Her eyes were wide.

"Kiss me."

"W-what?" Fluttershy eyes widen bigger.

"Ponies say there's some type of spark right? So Kiss me."

"We really shouldn't.." Fluttershy gazed away. She softly tried to wiggle out of her friend’s grip. But Rainbow kept her hooves firm but not enough to hurt.

"I know you said you're not my type. And you're right. But I want to know if I feel that spark shy. Maybe I'll feel it. I just.. I'm so surprised and I want to see, so kiss me like you mean it. Don't hold back. Just do it."

"Are you-"

Rainbow growled as she gripped Fluttershy’ shoulders a bit harder. She leaned in and cut Fluttershy off mid sentence. She pressed her lips against hers. It was bit rough and rushed but Rainbow didn't care. She just wanted to feel something anything.

Fluttershy snapped back into reality as Rainbkw kissed her. After a few seconds Fluttershys hoofs wrapped around her shoulder and neck and she pressed herself softly into Rainbow.

It was tense and a big rough. But both ponies didn't care. Rainbow pulled Fluttershy in deeper, Fluttershy moaned softly as she felt Rainboes hooves rub against her back and shoulder.

After a few seconds Rainbow pulled away and gazed at her. Fluttershy gazed back then she gazed at her lips before slowly leading in to kiss her again. Rainbows eyes widen. She's so soft and gentle. Rainbow never exactly had a gentle kiss like this especially after a rough one. It was something Rainboe wasn't used to. She tried to copy her friend and kiss back softly but part of her wanted to dive in. She had to stop as she was just about to. Fluttershy pushed herself into her making Rainbow’s back connect to the balcony. Her eyes widen at the change. Fluttershy right now was being bold! This was very unusual of her. Fluttershy was rarely bold and she rarely pushed ponies for that matter!

Fluttershy held her hoofs into Rainbows shoulders. She gently rubbed Rainbow’s shoulders.

After a few More seconds of the soft kiss. Rainbow broke the kiss and gazed at the floor. Fluttershy slowly removed her hoofs.

"I-I'm sorry. I didn't mean to kiss you again but seeing the you didn't stop me gave me more courage to do it."

"It's fine. I just..." Rainbow sighed softly. "I'm sorry shy. I.. didn't feel the spark or anything for that matter..."

"O-oh I see."

"And I don't want to give you false hope you know? I want to be clear and I don't want to hurt you shy. I didn't feel the spark I'm sorry."

"No I understand. But thank you." Fluttershy leaned in and hugged her friend. She rested her head against her shoulder and took in her scent for the last time. "Thank you for trying to give me a chance."

"Are you going to be okay? And our friendship? I know nothing can get between us but I just wanna make sure that you're going to be alright."

"I'll be fine now." She chuckled softly. "Nothing will tear us apart everything can go back to normal. I had my chance and I'm very grateful Rainbow."

This went better then expected.

Rainbow frowned. “Are you sure shy?”

Fluttershy gazed at her smiling. “I’m sure. Anypony will be lucky to have you.”

“And you shy. “ Rainbow smiled softly.

For a few moments both ponies stared at each other with love and kindness.

"Well now that everything is out of the way. Let's go back to party"

"Only if you bring me a drink dashi." Fluttershy lead herself in and disappeared into the crowd.

Rainbow grinned and called out. "I'll get you two!"

Fluttershy was bold tonight, something rainbow wasn't used to. It was odd. Rainbow was always into ponies who dominated her. Like Applejack or even Pinke. But can Fluttershy be like that?

Rainbow blushed and she shook the thought. No. They're just friends now. Everything was cleared up and done

But what if I can make her happy? Should I just give her a chance and see where it goes? But I didn't feel the spark or anything and what if I hurt her? And I don’t really like Ponies as shy as Fluttershy but she is really beautiful.

Rainbow sighed. She began to head into the party hoping to forget what she was just thinking.

I don't even know if I like her like that. And I don't want to hurt her but I can make her happy and that's what I want right? For her to be happy? But what if I make it worse? No. It can't be worse. Fluttershy is a great friend she'll understand.

"Maybe if we just wing it." Rainow mumbled.
