This is my first mlp fic so I'm sorry if this has issues with mlp lore

Friends miss each other

A knock was made by her black gloved hoofs, intenting for the other to open it. Even though her coat protected her, her fluffy blue wings still shivered a little due to the everlasting cold. She gazed at her saddle bag with her pastel yellow eyes, another book about getting a cutiemark was inside along with some root beer for her friend. She smiled softly at the last word, "friend". The door opened with a creak, revealing a bright grey unicorn with multicolored round glasses, one blue and one yellow. Her unsusually small horn had a black gradient on the tip of it along with her hoofs having the same color change. Her usual frown got less extreme as she saw the blue pegasus.

"Oh, come in." She said as she fixed her short pastel blue hair with her hoof, she took out a match with her shaky magic aura to light the candles on her wooden chandelier, she panted a little after. The pegasus closed the door behind her and sat down at the cozy purple couch right across her friend. The unciorn sat near, she massaged her temples before speaking.

"You came late this time, I thought you ran away," She said. The other's one eyeborw rose up.

"Why would I do that? This is my house too, where else could I run to?"

"I- Don't know either.. I just have those thoughts all day," She sighed "I guess I just miss you. You go all the way to Canterlot to work for weeks and..." She stopped as she saw the other's face, a relaxed smile mocking her. "Don't give me that look. We're friends aren't we? Friends miss each other! They care for each other and.." Her eyes closed as she slowly leaned in for a hug "They hug each other.. cause they missed the other" She scoffed as she squezzed the other tighter. The pegasus chuckled as her gloved hoofs entangled the other mare's body.

"..I missed you too, Moonspark."
