The lover of Queen Twilight Sparkle
I love you
Load Full StoryLittle Cheese was not someone you’d expect to see in the employ of the Equestrian royal guard. His poofy pink mane and lithe yellow body made him look like a malnourished mare, not the usual muscle-mountain that lined the halls of Canterlot castle. Not only did he stand out physically, but his personality clashed with his fellow guards like a jagged puzzle piece. He played pranks on the nobles, held an overly cheerful attitude, and he was not afraid to be affectionate with his fellow soldiers. He was very much an atypical member of the royal guard. Yet he served all the same.
The whole idea to enlist with the royal guard had started during his sixteenth Summer Sun Celebration. He had gone to Canterlot for the annual event and for the first time he spent it with his friends instead of his family. They had snuck into a bar, gotten away with a few ciders, and then made their way to the celebrations. The crowd had cheered, the music began, and Queen Twilight had made her appearance on the balcony overlooking the masses. Cheese remembered how in awe he’d felt when he looked at the alicorn properly for the first time. Despite the fact he’d seen her many time in his life, even in his own home, it was like he saw her for the first time. Her graceful neck, her wide wings, and her long and slim body reminded him of a beautiful swan.
And then she lit her horn and began to fly.
The starry night sky that had clung to Canterlot like a blanket was washed away by the golden disc of the sun. As the sun reached its zenith Queen Twilight met it with her limbs spread out and the music reached its crescendo. Then it was over. The beautiful queen floated down to the balcony and began a speech on Equestria’s beauty. Little Cheese had mostly been focused on her magenta eyes.
As the celebrations wrapped up and his friends began preparations to go back home Little Cheese had made a decision. A decision that his friends could only balk at. He would join the royal guard.
The decision came out of nowhere to his family. His mother, ever the supportive and cheerful mare she was, did not speak against the decision, but she was certainly surprised by it. Pinkie Pie had assumed that he’d become a performer, and to be fair so had Little Cheese, but he had a new goal in life. His father on the other hand was a lot more uncertain about the decision. While it was certainly an honorable position it posed real dangers and since the reforms, the royal guard had become increasingly martial in nature. It was a harsh environment in defense of the queen and Equestria’s capital. Little Cheese had no experience in such matters, nor was his cutie mark suited for a life with the soldiery. But Little Cheese had made up his mind.
When asked why he wanted to join the royal guard Little Cheese had always given the same answer: He wanted to protect the queen. Though the real answer was more selfish in nature, he wanted to be near the queen. He wanted to make the most beautiful mare in the world notice him.
And so Little Cheese trained for two years until he was finally allowed to become a recruit in the royal guard. He spent his days' training with weapons and learning commands. He spent his evenings reading up on military theory and studying the defenses of Canterlot. What time he had over he spent learning about Twilight Sparkle. Two years of training, one failed exam, and finally a successful exam earned him a position in the royal guard of Canterlot at the age of twenty. And from there he had a new goal, to become one of the queen’s personal guards, a position that could only be held by six ponies.
It took Cheese five years of intense training, grueling work, and guard duty on the west coast, but he eventually got on the ballot for the queen’s personal guard when the time came for an older mare to retire from the position.
Seven years, three months, and sixteen days after deciding to get close to the beautiful queen he had done it. Little Cheese advanced from a regular in-file guard to become one of the six ponies that had it as their everyday duty to follow the queen around the castle and protect her at all costs. Little Cheese had never been happier. He threw himself into his new role, and he also threw himself into his next scheme, to charm Twilight Sparkle. He joked, he made amusing comments during the boring hours of court that only the queen could hear, and he made damn sure that there were no threats to her royal highness’ person. Not a fly could approach the queen without Little Cheese seeing it and personally blocking its approach. In time he earned the respect of his fellow bodyguards for his tenacious adherence to protocol when it came to the queen’s safety, and he also earned a reputation of being the least serious of them all.
Not a fair assessment in Cheese’s own eyes, especially when all he did was in favor of the queen, but he could hardly complain whenever he got Twilight to giggle during one of her walks or when a particularly troublesome noble kept going on and on about taxes or land disputes.
It only took a few months for the queen to take a liking to him. Or at least he hoped her smiles and relaxed attitude were a sign of trust. She would have him stand next to her throne, he was allowed to stand guard during council meetings—his mother always looked giddy when she saw him stand there next to the queen—and he would often speak with the queen about every subject under the sun and moon.
Little Cheese’s love for Twilight Sparkle was obvious to most. At one point a senior bodyguard, an older stallion that had served under Celestia’s rule, admonished him for focusing too much on entertaining the queen instead of protecting her.
That had soured his mood for a while, but he knew the old crank was right in a way. As such Little Cheese found himself wearing two masks, that of the serious bodyguard and the queen’s loyal confidant. To switch between his masks became easier and easier, and when he was alone with the queen he could once again slip into jokes and his cheerful attitude. He would cheer up Twilight when she had long and bad days, such as the day when a mudslide devastated a town, and he’d try to help her calm down when she became stressed about foreign dignitaries or trips abroad. He even helped out the queen’s new student whenever she needed it, and he couldn’t help but smile at how similar the two mares were.
His skills in calming and cheering up the queen were put to the test after a particularly bad day. A new leader had risen amongst the griffons and he had called for a return to the old ways, of empire and warfare. This leader was vehemently against the mingling with ponykind and he called all griffons who lived in Equestria’s borders cowards. This leader did his best to upset and annoy Queen Twilight while also causing international incidents to provoke border conflicts and encourage a return of his people’s old martial ways. It was a mess and a mess that badly affected the queen. She did not smile for an entire week, she gained dark sacks underneath her eyes, and her coat almost seemed dull in color. Cheese knew he had to do something to help his queen, and the opportunity presented itself after court was done for the day.
Cheese had taken advantage of his position, and a favor from a colleague, to use the kitchen for a while. After a few hours, he had finished with his creation, a cheesecake made from his mother’s old recipe. A bodyguard delivering cheesecake to the queen was certainly unusual but it was unusual times.
He had reached the queen’s chambers, greeted his two colleges (who both looked at him with a quirked brow and pursed lips), and then entered. He’d found her on her bed. Her head hung low, her eyes were half-closed, and her ethereal mane stood in every direction. Twilight looked over at him with a sardonic smile as he entered and she got out of bed. The queen stretched and arcanely grabbed a brush to straighten out her mane.
“I am sorry you must see me in such a state,” she had mumbled with a sniffle.
Cheese had felt a painful pang in his chest at the sound and so he put on a smile and presented Twilight with the silver platter. “I wanted to give you something so the day would end on a positive note. It’s mom’s recipe, but don’t worry! There’s no pie launcher under the cake or some sort of exploding candle! It is just cheesecake.”
Twilight had taken one look at the cheesecake and let out a happy laugh. “After everything that’s happened today, I really need some cake. Thank you, major.”
Cheese couldn’t help but feel his heart soar as he watched the queen smile.
All of his efforts to make the queen notice him, all his time and energy spent on getting to know her, all of it paid off a cold January morning as he walked with the queen through the frost-covered gardens.
“Do you know what I find the most beautiful about this garden?” She’d asked him.
He had looked over the frozen landscape and scrutinized its statues and winding paths before he had answered. “Perhaps the shape? You did remake it to look like your cutie mark from above.”
She had given him a playful swat with her wing. “Are you calling me a narcissist, Major Cheese?”
“Well…”
She had shoved him and he’d stumbled into a bush with a laugh. His heavy armor clanked and rustled as he got back up onto the path with twigs sticking out from his shoulder pads. “No, but in all seriousness, your highness, what it is you find the most beautiful in this garden?”
The queen had folded her wings and pressed them tight against her body. Even her winter coat could not keep out the cold. “The beauty of this garden has never laid with the statues or the flowers or even its shape. It has always been dependent on who I walk with, the pony that accompanies me down the path to the curling tree, the duck pond, and the flowerbeds. And every time I walk down these paths with you, even with the world covered in frost and the flowers long dead from winters chill, it is the most beautiful place in all of Equestria.”
He’d stopped dead in his tracks and stared at her. “I… Thank you, my Queen, it makes me incredibly happy to hear that.”
“Then continue following me, major. Our walk isn’t over yet,” she’d said and continued down the frozen gravel path.
He had happily done so and swore that to himself that he would follow her down those winding paths for the rest of his life.
As winter turned to spring and then early summer the queen set aside more and more time for them to be alone. Despite whatever issues Little Cheese may have had with his mare-ish appearance she often complimented his looks, and as he trained even harder even he began to notice his muscles. Eventually, as the Summer Sun Festival came and went Little Cheese hatched a plan. The day after the celebrations there was no court and the holidays were still in effect. The city would slumber from the night’s previous celebrations and a great calm would fall over the castle. It was in these calm hours that Little Cheese asked his colleagues for a favor.
By the time Queen Twilight Sparkle arose and had breakfast, she suspected something was being hidden from her. Maid staff was missing, two of her bodyguards were nowhere to be seen, and she was forbidden from entering the dining hall.
Furthermore, Little Cheese had a Cheshire grin on his face when she saw him.
Once lunch rolled around her loyal bodyguard took her down into the city. Little Cheese bought a fine bottle of wine, a bottle that cost him three months of wages, something which Twilight lightly admonished him for. He couldn’t spend all his money on wine after all. Which he just found amusing.
“I do not spend it for me, but for a mare I care deeply for,” he’d said.
Little Cheese took the queen to a restaurant that would normally be closed during the holidays, but an exception had been made for the occasion. He ordered the finest hayburgers in the city, something which had made the queen highly amused and somewhat nostalgic. After their meal, he had taken her to a hill overlooking the city where they shared cheese and the expensive wine. After hours of talking the two returned to the castle where a fine dinner awaited them. The dining room had been fully prepared and the kitchen had gone into overdrive to cook the most magnificent food they could think of—all for the two of them.
The other bodyguards helped the two into the dining room and escorted them to a smaller, more intimate table than the long, imposing furniture that normally filled the room. And then they were left alone, only occasionally interrupted by maids delivering food. Little Cheese spent the two hours they ate gathering courage. Once the last meal had been served, a beautiful chocolate dessert, he took a deep breath and stood up tall.
“My queen, my beautiful swan, I have waited many years to say these words to you,” Cheese began and walked around the table so he stood beside her. “I have spent every day trying to show you how much I care for you, all so I may one day tell you this.”
Her magenta eyes stared into his own. They were shimmered with suppressed tears and a smile touched her lips. Her wings quivered and she craned her neck so they were face to face.
“I love you with all my heart, and if you will have me I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I do not care for titles or riches, I am not after power or an easy life. I only want you. Ever since I truly saw you for the first time have I wanted you by my side. Will you have me? An earth pony with no noble title or great magic?”
Her answer was to close her eyes and lean in with a kiss. And Cheese’s heart had soared.
The next few months were bliss. Every day he spent with his beloved he felt his love for her grow, and she relaxed into his warm embrace whenever she was stressed or sad. It did not take long for him to ask the big question, the one that every stallion was afraid to ask in case of rejection, but he hadn’t stopped before and fear wouldn’t stop him now. So Little Cheese had orchestrated a picnic similar to the one they had gone to during their first date and presented the love of his life with a diamond ring. And she had tearfully embraced him and said yes.
The wedding was on a Wednesday. The pegasi cleared the sky, the castle security was substantially increased, the villain statues were placed in the dungeon just in case, and the former princesses were asked to attend for a multitude of reasons.
The wedding was one of the biggest events in years. Thousands of ponies, changelings, griffons and even dragons attended with some representation of kirins and sea ponies as well. The royal guards saluted him when he passed and a few already began to address him as ‘prince’. His mother was there along with the rest of his and his fiance's friends. Teary-eyed and supportive they helped him to the front of the room where he waited for his soon-to-be wife.
Her entrance into the large hall made his heart swoon. She was dressed in an all-white gown with a veil that traced behind her like an ethereal cloak. Her hooves were clad in golden slippers and around her horn was a brilliant diamond ring that reflected the sun’s light. Cheese almost felt underdressed in his black suit, though with an encouraging bump into his side from a friend he grew less nervous and he could truly look at his beloved in wonder.
Princess Cadence was chosen to lead the ceremony. She had them read their vows to one another, gave a short speech to the room about the beauty of true and pure love, and then gave them the go-ahead to kiss. The room erupted into stomps as he pulled back his beloved’s veil and they shared their kiss.
The rest of the wedding consisted of greeting guests, speaking with friends and family, and finally holding a speech to the people. Little Cheese gave the people a promise that he would not fail them as prince consort and that he would always protect his beloved queen. The crowd had cheered for them and the rest of the evening consisted of drinking wine and eating fine food with the many guests that had attended the wedding. He spoke with the former princesses and promised to help both Twilight and the nation. He was given advice by Cadence on how to navigate the many dangers of marriage (and some tips which made him flustered). He promised Shining Armor that he would take good care of Twilight and he did the same to her parents. Finally, he was congratulated by his parents, and his father told him he’d never been more proud of him.
It was once evening turned to night and the guests went to bed that the newly-wed retired to their chambers. Their honeymoon was starting, and as his wife pulled off her wedding dress and swatted her tail in his face he knew exactly how he would spend it.
Little Cheese had never been the one to take the initiative in bed, but this night was different. As Twilight trotted over to their bed she added an extra sway in her hips and she flicked her tail to the side to give him a full view of her marehood. Her mare juices trailed down her back legs and strands stuck to her tail. Cheese couldn’t help but swallow at the sight and he felt his member slowly grow firm from the sight. Twilight threw a smug smile over her shoulder and got onto the bed. Cheese trotted after her almost in a trance until he was inches from her dripping snatch.
“Make love to me~,” Twilight said with a hiss.
Cheese dove forward and let his tongue lap over the mare’s sex. He moaned as her sweet juices filled his mouth and grabbed a hold of Twilight’s flank so she couldn’t slip away. Twilight’s soft moans filled the room as he ate her out and he soon inserted his tongue into her warm slit. A shudder ran through the mare’s body as he did so and she moaned his name.
More motivation wasn’t needed.
Little Cheese buried his muzzle into Twilight’s pussy and he lapped away like a thirsty animal. He squeezed his wife’s flank as she arched her back and moaned and she looked back at him with a pant.
“I can’t be the only one that’s having a good time~” she panted and lit her horn.
Cheese groaned deeply as his testicles were enveloped in her arcane grasp and he thrust into the air as she played and tugged with his balls. He pulled back to moan only for Twilight to wrap a hind leg around his head and press him against her snatch once more. He happily continued to eat her sex all the while she teased his swollen testicles. Cheese could swear he felt them churn as Twilight played with them and his member throbbed.
“Twilight~” he moaned into her pussy and thrust into the air.
His wife groaned at his desperate sounds and she then let go of his head and crawled further in onto the bed. She laid down and looked over her shoulder with a teasing grin. “I’m in heat, my love~”
Cheese stared at her with wide eyes and swallowed thickly. His shock however was interrupted by a deep groan from his chest as Twilight’s magic wrapped itself around his member and slowly jerked and constricted it.
“I want you to put a baby in me~ I want you to breed me like I’m your proper wife~,” she said with a seductive hiss.
Little Cheese scrambled forward and pressed his member against her flank. “I love you so much!”
Twilight simply smiled and craned her neck so she could kiss him. As their lips met Cheese lined his member up with her nether lips and pushed. He groaned as he slowly slid into her tight entrance and once he bottomed out he couldn’t help but pant. He began to thrust and he grit his teeth as Twilight’s snatch tightened and loosened around his member. Twilight simply laid her head against her pillow and pushed back against his thrusts which caused her flank to delightfully jiggle with each thrust.
The pair pushed faster and harder against her each other until the room filled with the wet smacks of their lovemaking. Cheese gave her flank a firm slap and groaned as he watched it jiggle from the impact. Twilight moved her hips back and forth even faster in return and she bit down on her pillow. The queen’s moans filled the room and she arched her back as Cheese pressed his tip against her cervix.
“I’m close!” he warned.
“Give me a baby!~” Twilight moaned and shuddered as the orgasm washed over her. The alicorn froze as her juices poured out around his member and her pussy milked him for all he was worth.
“Twilight!” Cheese groaned as the alicorn began to massage his testicles once more. With a final thrust, he pressed his tip against her cervix and moaned as the first rope filled her. The stallion gave her one thrust for every rope of cum that her greedy snatch milked from him and after seven ropes he felt himself collapse against the alicorn’s back.
The pair fell down onto the bed and lay there for a while. Both caught their breath and Cheese pulled out of his wife, spilling their juices over the bed as he did so. Twilight rolled over to face him and she kissed him deeply with a happy sigh. She nestled her head in the nape of his neck and Cheese wrapped his forelegs around her.
“I love you…” Twilight mumbled with a yawn.
“I love you too,” Cheese mumbled into her ear and pressed her against his chest.
So the two lovers fell asleep in each other’s embrace. Their honeymoon would be spent under the sheets and it was not long until it was confirmed that there would be a royal heir. And for all the trouble a child would bring, jealous nobles and other nations included, the child was proof of their union of love and so it would be loved until the ends of the earth. For there was no stronger love than the one a parent felt for their child.
