Well hello there, future Pokemon Masters. I see that you are all pumped up for the exciting journey that will be in store for you.
My Name is Celestia, but most people around the Canterlu Region know me as the Pokémon Professor. As you already know, all of humanity are living in complete harmony with creatures that the people of today call Pokémon. The bond between people and Pokémon grows stronger each and every day.
(Celestia then throws the pokéball that she had in her hand, and when it opened, a Solrock appeared).
As you see right now, there are hundreds upon thousands of undiscovered Pokémon that we scientists find each and every day. There are Pokémon on land, sea, sky, the very edge of our known Galaxy, even in the very boundary between time and space itself. We never know what kind of Pokémon we'll encounter next, but it doesn't matter how many we catch or how many victories we gain, as long as the bond between Pokémon and their partners remain strong, you will always prevail.
Now, I bet you are all wondering who the main characters of this little adventure are, well, I'll tell you.
The Main Protagonist of our story is a Beginner Pokémon Trainer, named Sunset Shimmer, even though she can have a temper almost as bad as an enraged Mankey, she has a heart of Gold, and will sacrifice her life to save those she cares about. Sunset prefers to have Fire, Normal, or Dragon Type Pokemon.
Our second Main Protagonist will be her future best friend, Twilight Sparkle, although most of her friends nicknamed her Sci-Twi, due to her love of Science. Twilight is a trainer that prefers to have Ghost-Type Pokémon, Twilight is actually one of the regions Gym-Leaders and her Gym is at the Canterlu haunted house where she works as the attractions owner. You'll find out that place is crawling with Gastly, Banette, and Duskull, just waiting to pop up and scare you. One of her Duskull did that to me once.
Well my friends a new journey is awaiting us all. Let's see what hardships they face and see how they can overcome them with the friendship they have with their Pokémon. So let's take our seats as their adventure begins now.
Meanwhile, in the quiet and peaceful Everfree Town, A Moving Truck appeared in front of one of the vacant houses.
"Ah good, we're finally here," Sunrise Shimmer said as he parked the truck on the parking lot outside. "Hey Sunset, we're here."
There was no response, so when he and his Partner Pokemon Teddiursa checked inside the moving truck, he saw that Sunset was fast asleep in the truck with her pet Pokemon Vulpix.
"Ha, that long roadtrip must have burned you out," Sun-Rise said. "She's out like a candle. Well, I'm sure she'll be ready for tomorrow, since her 10th birthday is tomorrow."
Sunset's 10th birthday is a very special day because when any child turns to the age of 10, they'll receive their first ever Pokemon Partners.
"Soon, you're going to be as good of a Pokemon trainer as your mother was," Sun-rise said. "Oh honey, if you could see how far our little girl has soared to get this far."
Just as that was happening, two tired pokemon trainers were heading back for the night after a long day of training their pokemon. These trainers were Rainbow-Dash and her partner Pokemon Elekid, and Fluttershy and her Partner Pokemon Weedle.
"Yawn, well Flutter's I think I'm going to crash tonight, me and Elekid need to get some shut-eye so that we can have enough energy to train again," Rainbow said as she and her Elekid went inside their house.
"Alright then see you tomorrow," Fluttershy said as she and her Weedle went into there own home as well.
Meanwhile, in a far away island stood the headquarters of the remnants of Team Galactic, Team Nova Galactic. And in the shadows, Team Nova Galactic's Ring-Leader was watching
"Pluto, is everything going underway," Venus instructed.
"Yes Venus, everything is going according to your grand design," Pluto confirmed. "But everything has been getting complicated ever since Cyrus disappeared."
"Hmph, no matter," Venus said with a devilish grin. "Cyrus was a mad old fool who could never understand my work. But as he wanted to reshape reality in his image, we, the remnants of his fallen empire have discovered a new power, the power of Ultra Beasts. With such power, I will succeed where Cyrus failed, and I will accomplish my dreams and Team Galactic will rise anew.
Meanwhile, The next morning in Everton City, Twilight Sparkle, The cities Gym Leader, had fallen asleep on her work-desk due to staying up late at night looking for a new spooky costume to wear for the halloween attraction she was the owner of.
Suddenly, her Gastly, Haunter and Gengar flew into her room, sent by Twilight's mother in order to try and wake her up. They tried to tap her shoulder, but to no avail, it didn't wake her up.
Then, Gengar started to grow a devilish grin, as it knew that the only way that they were going to wake Twilight up was to scare her awake.
First, Haunter used Icy wind, then as Twilight's shivering caused her to open her eyes up a little, Gengar used Scary Face which gave Twilight the fright of her life.
Twilight Velvet could hear her daughter screaming as she then giggled to herself.
"GENGAR!" Twilight roared as she chased Gengar down the stairs.
However, Gengar went through a wall which made Twilight slam right into the wall.
"Oww," Twilight said as she was rubbing her head.
"Oh I wish I could trade that Gengar for a Drifloon," Twilight said in irritation.
"Good morning to you too, Twilight," Velvet said.
"Whatever," Twilight grumbled. "Mom, next time, wake me up normally."
"I TRIED WAKING YOU UP NORMALLY, BUT IT DIDN'T WORK," Velvet roared angrily, making Twilight flinch. "IT'S NOT MY FAULT THAT YOU CAN'T SLEEP AT RESONABLE HOURS!"
"You know that Gastly's Haunter's and Gengar's love to scare and prank people, And besides, if you traded Gengar, you would leave Gastly and Haunter without their friend," Velvet said.
"Ok, I'm sorry, Mom," Twilight said with a look of defeat on her face.
"I'm glad that you are up because today is a very special day," Velvet said.
"Special...How," Twilight asked.
"Well, do you remember Sunset Shimmer, the girl who you used to hang out with at the Jouto Region," Velvet said. "Today's her 10th Birthday."
Twilight's eyes shot up. "She's 10 already," Twilight said.
"Yep, and she just moved into Everfree Town, which is 5 blocks from Everton City," Velvet said.
"SHE'S HERE TODAY!" Twilight said with a worried expression. "Oh, I got to get ready," Twilight said as she put her costume on. "Is she going to be heading towards the Everton City Gym once she gets her starter Pokemon."
"Yes," Velvet said. "However, They'll be one problem..."Sunset has a Phobia of Ghost-Type Pokemon, due to an incident involving the abandoned Canterlu Mansion."
"Oh no, she went in there," Twilight said. "That place is crawling with Banette.
"Yes, well you better head on over to the Everton City Gym," Velvet said. "Oh and tell Professor Celestia I said Hello."
"Got it Momma," Twilight said as she got her bag full of Specter Badges and said goodbye to Spike, her pet Houndour heading to her Gym as the Everton City Ghost-Type Gym Leader.

(Meanwhile, at the Regi Temple)
There have been multiple disturbances throughout the temple, which have caused many bizarre occurrences to happen. And as a result, the three Central Canterlu titans, Regiblaze, Regileaf, and Regiwave, had been awakened from their long slumber due to the disappearance of Regirock, Regice, Registeel, Regileki, and Regidrago. Even the other titans, Regitox, Regiwisp, Regivoid, Regiwing, and Regisect, were also awakened.
"Something terrible has happened in Ultra-Space," A cloaked figure said. "The Titans are becoming restless."
Just then, RegiBlaze stopped, almost as if it could sense something or someone from afar. The Six dots on its head started glowing red as it flew out of the temple and into a random direction.
The Cloaked figure just looked onward and said, "Where is Regiblaze going?"
(Meanwhile, at the Pokémon Lab at Everfree).
Sunset was waiting for her chance to get her very own Pokémon partner, with her shiny Krabby by her side. Baltoy was back at her house, as was Litten, since her father thought Litten would be a perfect playmate for Teddiursa.
Then Sunset saw Professor Celestia roll a table in the center of the room, which had three Pokémon on it.
"Sorry for the wait, Sunset," Celestia said. "Here are the three Pokémon you can choose to be your partner Pokémon.
"First we have the grass-bug type, Leafrantis," Celestia said as Leafrantis eyed Sunset.
"Then we have the Fire-Steel Type, Pyrosaur," Celestia proclaimed as Pyrosaur gave a proud pose as a small bit of fire erupted from its nostrils.
"And finally, we have the Water-Ground Type, Clawcer," Celestia said as its antennae swayed left and right.
"Hmm, they all look cool," Sunset said as she gazed at the three Pokémon in front of her.
Sunset then got out her Pokédex to scan them.
Leafrantis, the Camouflage Pokémon, with its greenish body, almost looks like a leaf swaying harmlessly in the breeze until its prey gets too close; it will use its raptorial forelimbs to snag its prey.
"Pyrosaur, the Fire Fossil Pokémon—legends say that this Pokémon came from a line of prehistoric Pokémon that lived millions of years ago. Although it was at first labeled as extinct, it was revived by scientists when they found their fossils.
Pyrosaur's fiery jaws can melt through metal like butter, and its fiery breath can destroy anything and everything in its path.
Pyrosaur doesn't like it when its tail is forcefully grabbed; anyone attempting this will be met with a volley of flames."
"Clawcer, The Lobster Pokémon, when Clawcers are hunting for Shellder, their favorite prey, they will use their pincers like a pick-ax to tunnel into their prey."
"When threatened by predator's, Clawcer's use their tails like a boat propeller to zoom away unnoticed."
"Hmm, you learn something new every day," Sunset said.
"But Fire-Type Pokémon is my favorite, so I choose Pyrosaur," Sunset said as Pyrosaur then jumped into her hands.
Leafrantis had a look of disappointment while Clawcer didn't seem to mind.
"You seem to be very loyal, it's a pleasure to meet you Pyrosaur," Sunset said with a happy face.
Pyrosaur then licked Sunset on the cheek, which made it warm up a little.
Then another girl entered the Pokémon Center, "Hey Celes, I'm back."
"Oh, hello Trixie," Celestia said. "How has your Litten been doing?"
"That thing didn't live up to my expectations, so I just got rid of it," Trixie said with a snarky look on her face.
Sunset couldn't believe this, Trixie just got rid of a Pokémon, a living creature, and acted like this was normal.
"Just wanted to let you know, so next time, you won't give me a Pokémon that becomes a waste of my time," Trixie sneered.
Trixie then noticed Sunset and her Pokémon, "Hey nice Pokémon you got there," Trixie said as she then grabbed its tail. Pyrosaur then had an angry face as it let out a volley of flames into Trixie's face.
"Agggh," Trixie wailed as her face was burned.
"Pyrosaurs don't like it when you grab their tails," Celestia said.
"Ugh, whatever, I'll just go find a suitable Pokémon myself," Trixie snarled as she was about to leave before Sunset stopped her.
"So you're the one that chained that Litten to a light pole," Sunset said. "If it weren't for me, that Litten would have been Krabby-Chow, do you have any compassion for it at all?"
"Why should I, Pokémon are with me so they can make me look good," Trixie said with a devilish tone of voice. "If you got hurt saving that waste of space, then that's on you, not me."
Trixie then left the Pokémon center after getting five PPokéball
"Wow, she is annoying," Sunset said to herself as she went to get 5 Pokéball's and a Town Map.
"Please forgive Trixie, she can get like that sometimes," Professor Celestia said.
"It's fine," Sunset said as she was turning to leave.
"Oh Sunset before you go, I need you to bring these 5 Pokémon to the Pokémon Lab at Everton City," Celestia said as she brought a container with 5 Pokéballs inside.
"Ok thank you, professor," Sunset said as she left for Everton City.
Suddenly, a green-haired girl entered the Pokémon Center.
"Hello, is this the Pokémon center where Professor Celestia's at?" the girl asked.
"Yes, I am Professor Celestia; how can I help you?" Celestia asked.
"My name is Wallflower Blush; I was told that there were three Pokémon you were giving to some trainers; is that correct?" Wallflower asked.
"Why yes, I've already given this Pyrosaur to a trainer that just left a few seconds ago," Celestia said.
"Well, in that case, I chose Leafrantis as my partner," Wallflower said as she picked Leafrantis up. "Leafrantis, we're going to be best friends; I just know it." Wallflower said as she and Leafrantis left the Pokémon center with smiles on their faces.
(Meanwhile, at Everton City)
Twilight was in a complete state of panic as one of her Pokémon ran off.
"Sableye, where are you, Sableye," Twilight shouted in utter worry as she desperately searched for her Pokémon. "Duskull, Haunter, go and try to look for Sableye, please?"
Duskull and Haunter nodded as they went to search for Sableye.
Then Twilight noticed one of her friends, Applejack, entering the city.
"Applejack," Twilight said as she approached her friend. "Have you seen Sableye anywhere, He ran off again."
"Again," Applejack retorted. "That Sableye is always getting into trouble."
"I hope he doesn't go on another Gem-eating spree," Twilight stated in worry. "The last time he did that, I got a big earful from Mrs. Harshwinny."
"Don't worry Twi, I'll help you find him," Applejack said as she got out a Pokéball. "Sandshrew, Toedscool, I choose you!"
The Pokéball opened, revealing Applejack's Sandshrew and Toedscool.
"Alright, let's get on our way then," Applejack said as she and Twilight went to search for Sableye.
(Meanwhile, in another part of the city.)
Sableye was busy exploring the town, searching for a juicy snack to munch on. It soon noticed a cave nearby, full of gems.
Sableye started to drool as it spotted the all-you-can-eat buffet before it, It then raced towards the cave.
Suddenly, before Sableye could get to the cave, it was caught in a steel cage.
"Gotcha, you little gremlin," Ms. Harshwinny said as she came out from the shadows, wearing a Team Flare Uniform. "You'll never irritate me ever again."
"Hey, what's going on here," Sunset said as she and Pyrosaur arrived.
"None of your concern, little girl, so buzz off," Harshwinny sneered.
"Oh, really, what's with the Team Flare outfit," Sunset said.
"Oh this, I'm Team Flare's new Leader," Harshwinny said. "And I'll make sure that I get a large sum from this Sableye when I sell it off the Pokemon Black Market."
Sunset then saw a Zigzagoon, a Butterfree, a Sandile, and a Corphish, all in similar cages.
"You're a Pokémon Poacher," Sunset roared. "TEAM-FLARE, YOU'RE JUST AS VILE AS TEAM-ROCKET WHEN THEY INVADED THE JOUTO REGION, TAKING POKEMON AWAY FROM THEIR TRAINERS, LIKE WHEN THEY TOOK PIGEOT AND FERROW AWAY FROM MY MOTHER! WELL, YOU'RE NOT GONNA GET AWAY WITH THIS, Pyrosaur and I are gonna stop you."
"You're welcome to try it," Harshwinny snarled. "Furfrou, get ready for battle."
Harshwinny's Furfrou appeared.
"Pyrosaur, us Bite now," Sunset said as Pyrosaur bit into Furfrou.
"Grr, use quick-attack, Furfrou," Harshwinny ordered.
"Oh, no, Pyrosaur, try to evade her attack and then use Fire-Fang," Sunset said as Pyrosaur avoided Furfrou's attack and bit down with a fiery bite.
"Get ready for your Pokémon to have the worst sunburn it's ever going to get," Sunset said as she tried to initiate another attack.
However, they felt the sand on their feet start to move as 10 Sandygasts appeared from the ground.
When the Sandygasts saw sableye in the cage, their eyes glowed red with anger.
"Grr, more ghosts," Harshwinny said. "When Team-Flare takes control of this region, I'll run Twilight and her grotesque ghosts out of this city and replace that decrepit gym with a fancy shopping mall."
"Wait, if there are Sandygasts, then there must be a Pallosand as well," Sunset said in worry.
Suddenly, the ground trembled as a huge Pallosand appeared, with Sunset's childhood friend, Twilight Sparkle, riding on top.
"HARSHWINNY, YOU GIVE SABLEYE BACK RIGHT NOW!" Twilight roared.
"Never," Harshwinny retorted.
The SandyGasts used Sand Attack, while Pallosand used Sand-Tomb.
"Eek," Harshwinny wailed as she saw the barrage of sand. "FORGET SABLEYE, I'M OUT OF HERE, I WON'T FORGET THIS SUNSET SHIMMER!"
Harshwinny ran off while she was covered in sand.
The imprisoned Pokémon ran off and Sableye returned to Twilight.
"Oh Sunset, thank you so much for saving Sableye," Twilight said happily. "Ugh, just wait till Gladmane finds out that his wife is the new leader of Team Flare!"
"You're welcome," Sunset said as she got her Pokédex out to scan Sableye, Sandygast, and Pallosand.
Sandygast, the Sand Heap Pokémon, Born from a sand mound playfully built by a child, this Pokémon embodies the grudges of the departed."
[Pallosand, The Sand Castle Pokémon, possessing people controlled by this Pokémon, transformed its sand mound into a castle. As it evolved, its power to curse grew ever stronger."
Sableye, The Darkness Pokémon, feeds on gemstone crystals. In the darkness, its eyes sparkle with the glitter of jewels."
"Wow, there are all very interesting Pokémon to learn about," Sunset said.
"Oh, I'm sure that you'll find a lot more when you explore more of the region," Twilight said with a smile on her face.
"Oh, I almost forgot; Professor Celestia wanted me to send these Pokémon to the lab here," Sunset said.
"Oh, thank you; I'll bring these Pokémon to the lab immediately," Twilight said as she left for the lab. "Oh, if you want to challenge my gym, be sure to come once you've collected one gym badge."
As Sunset and Pyrosaur were heading off, they heard a rustling in the bushes.
"Huh," Sunset said as she went to investigate, only to see a small Pokémon look at her.
"Oh, hello, little one," Sunset said as she pulled her Pokédex out.
Drowsy, the Hypnosis Pokémon, Puts enemies to sleep and then eats their dreams. Occasionally gets sick from eating bad dreams.
"Hmm, so your name is Drowsy, huh? My name's Sunset, and this is my partner Pyrosaur," Sunset said as she greeted the little Pokémon. "Are you lost?"
Suddenly, Drowsy let out a pink wave of energy at sunset.
Sunset expected to be hurt by the attack, but for some strange reason, she felt relaxed by it, as she was mesmerized by this wave of relaxation.
Sunset had fallen into the Pokémon's trap, and as a result, Sunset had been hypnotized.
Sunset then collapsed on the ground as she fell asleep from the hypnosis.
"Drowsy," a girl with orange poofy hair said to her Pokémon. "You hypnotized that poor trainer; snap her out of it right now!"
Drowsy complied as it snapped its fingers, which broke Sunset out of the hypnosis.
"Mmm, huh, is it morning already?" Sunset asked as she let out a yawn.
"Sorry about that; my Drowsy was hypnotizing you," the girl said to Sunset. "Oh, where are my manners? My name is Adagio Dazzle, and I just started my Pokémon journey," Adagio said with a shy look on her face.
Suddenly, two other girls appeared.
"Oh, these are my step-sisters, Aria Blaze and her partner, Gothita, and Sonata Dusk and her partner, Abra," Adagio stated as Aria and Sonata said hello.
"We just started as well," Sonata stated.
"Well, that's obvious," Aria retorted.
"We're heading to Cateloopa City to face the first gym leader. Wanna accompany us?" Adagio asked.
"Sure, I'd like to," Sunset said as she followed Adagio and her step-sisters on their way to Cateloopa City.
