"Ah so you want to know why we are here and the events of the past. Well you were always the curious sort so I will tell you the tale of how things became like this. It was on May 9th, eleven years after the United States and five years after the European Commonwealth fell..."
May 9th, 1995
The Workers of the Soviet Union celebrated this years victory day like they did the past eleven years, with a extreme fervor since both of the enemy's of their class had fallen and the workers were proven triumphant, but not all were celebrating. Premier Volvsok sat as his desk with a worried from as he read and reread the reports on his desk, but before he can read the documents for a 15th time his train of thought was interrupted by persistent knocking on the door to his office.
"come in." A member of the security force quickly opened the door and walked to the premiers desk with the Soviet head of science in toe.
"Comrade Volvsok we have the pictures of that you asked for" The premier took the papers out of the guards hands gestured for the guard to leave. As Volvsok opened the divider and immediately paled three colors when he saw what the pictures held.
"Can you explain what the hell I am looking at?!" He said looking at the scientist with a look of astonishment in his eyes.
"W..w..well c..c..comrade as you already know a land mass has appeared 1500 Nautical Mile off of the shores of Australia but what we didn't know is about 5000 miles horizontal and diagonal wise"
"Yeah I can tell that from the notes on the photo, but that doesn't answer my question to WHY it is there!"
" I..I..I am sorry comrade but even we don't know why or how it got there. But that isn't the highlight of this development, this is." He said as he handed the premier a second folder in which the premier slowly flipped through the new photos that he had received and with each photo he looked at his eyes widened a bit until eventually he scrambled to contact he other members of the Comintern. The various leaders of the Comintern and him decided that they would tell the world of their findings at the speech he was set to have in just a few short hours.
Everyone gathered around both in person and on various methods of communication to tune in to the national Victory day speech they were shocked to hear him announce to the world that a continent sized land mass had appeared in the middle of the pacific. But as they all reeled the Premier was not finished as he announced that there was a new species that inhabited this land. But the last of the news was the one piece of information that would truly change the world in a way that not even the Premier could know was the fact that this new species that inhabited this new continent were indeed alien creatures that had the spitting image of horse's and we were going to say hello.
One and half weeks later in the city of Canterlot
Celestia sat on the large chair that looked downright modest with her size and waited for the first group of representatives to gather in the conference room. The first group was from an organization that called themselves the "UN" that had about 10 "Humans" from a prechosen lot that each represented a notable country on this planet. But there was notable attitude from about 3/4ths of the delegation. The people who had the attitude were all from governments that proclaimed themselves as communist and Celestia knew that with that government type taking up a majority of the world they now inhabited she would have to expect cold relation from most of the nations. But Celestia put all those thoughts in the back of her mind as all the diplomats from the UN sat themselves on the chairs and collected any papers they had brought with them until eventually the "Human" diplomat that represented what they called the "United Southern States of America" that sat on the right side of Celestia cleared his throat and began to speak.
"Now that all of us are here I would like to start this meeting with a warm welcome from all nations on earth and a open invitation to join the UN." He said as the diplomat representing the United Socialist Republics of Pacifica Rolled his eyes. Although if the Southern representative noticed that he didn't pay attention to it. "Although if you do join the UN you would have to follow all the rules on human rights, although since you do proclaim peace that shouldn't much of a problem." Celestia responded with a simple nod of her head. "Well with all that said and done now is the time to meet with both Pacts diplomats and discuss the individual treaties with them but for now I will get out of you're ha err mane and let you discuss treaties with the diplomats from the Comintern" With the last word out of his mouth he and the people from the non communist countries left in a respectful manner, although the gaps they left at the seats were soon filled with the Comintern representatives. The day continued well into the night as each group agreed on Celestia's terms which where that every country that has a person in attendance would receive a Equestrian embassy in their capital and that there would migration treaty's for each country, although the Comintern dictated that they had the right to deny any businuss, which in turn the Comintern countries would not be allowed to buy any Equestrian land and they happily agreed to the terms. The remaining eight countries that made up the United Prosperity Origination were the reverse in that they wanted their businesses to be able to buy land in Equestria in which they were denied, but in a brilliant political maneuver Celestia got it so that pony businesses would still be able to buy land on Earth proper. So with the peace that was established between Earth and Equestria all seemed peaceful. But what they didn't know was that Equestria would use the migration pack to send ponies who would die for the crown of Equestria into the Countries of Earth, Then once the loyalist's got in they would pelage false promises, Blend in with the population, and then relay any information they found back to Celestia. But what Celestia saw both publicly and secretly in the next 6 years confirmed and solidified her bias that had begun when she first met the diplomats. That Humanity was a plague that corrupted everything they touched and the only way to deal with them was to eradicate the whole lot of them, either by death or worse ponyification.

Changed some thing's around to fit better into the new cannon of this series and fixed some errors. (circa 2/8/2023) also if you were wondering I imagined the scientist to look and sound like this guy
