A Night Between a Daisy and an Orchid
Neighsay walked through the quiet and clean hallway of the castle of Canterlot. No one was around, and it was giving Neighsay eerie vibes. He shivered all the way, to the ground and stairs. As soon as he made it to the family's room, Neighsay suddenly heard some humming. He pressed his ear against the wall, only to hear the humming, which was coming from Tempest, who was inside.
Every tone that went in Neighsay's ear slowly made his face brighten. Second, it gave him a light blush. Knowing his moth was there, he slowly opened the door, and what did he saw? Tempest was holding one of her foals in her hooves as she lies down on a bed in the ground bed in her stomach, and her other foal was in her back. Grubber was sleeping with ear muffs in the twin's crib, since the foals liked being close to him.
"Neighsay...you're back." Tempest spoke. Neighsay then walked towards her, putting his saddlebag beside his desk, and gently kissed the twin's cheeks and kissed Tempest's muzzle.
"Of course I am." Neighsay said with a proud smile.
"Did you eat dinner already?" Tempest asked.
"Yes. And if you don't mind, I'll be changing, is it fine with you?"
"All right." Tempest chuckled.
From Neighsay's cheek kiss, the twins woke up in a yawn. The foal in Tempest's hooves slowly blinked and looked up at his mom. The other yawned and looked at Neighsay with a smile. The one in Tempest's back was Nightingale, and the one of Tempest's hooves was Ophiuchus.
Ophiuchus is Nightingale's twin. Unfortunately, when both Nightingale and Ophiuchus were born, Neighsay and Tempest were told that there were complications with Ophiuchus. Ophiuchus's complications were cured after 3 months. Nightingale and Ophiuchus already got along when he arrived. Tempest and Neighsay never told the rest of their relatives so they won't worry them until Ophiuchus came.
Ophiuchus has the same complexion as Nightingale. He had eyes like his parents and sister. He has very dark pink hair with very dark grayish blue stripes like his father and vivid pink streaks like Tempest. Though, he has vivid pink lines that are not that visible to see.
"Looks like your "sleeping beauty" kiss woke up these two." Tempest chuckled, and Neighsay giggled.
"Daddy!" Nightingale called out, moving her hooves like a kitten.
Ophiuchus got off Tempest's back and hugged Neighsay's hoof.
"Looks like someone was waiting for his papa." Neighsay chuckled, stroking Ophiuchus's mane.
"Aren't you going to change?" Tempest giggled
"I forgot. Sorry." Neighsay laughed. He went to the side of the bed while the twins pounced into Tempest's back. Neighsay carefully removed his sash and medallion. His aura them moved to his robe and shirt. His removed clothes were replaced by a thin, dark gray sweater, since it was a cold night outside and in.
Tempest looked back at her twins, who were hugging each other. Nightingale was hugging her back while Ophiuchus is hugging Nightingale's back. Unaware of Neighsay, he kissed her cheek. Neighsay then got a blanket and shared it along with the three pones. He then put his head underneath Tempest's chin in a tired move.
"Someone missed me while he was at work?" Tempest said, patting her stallion's head. She then felt a rough rub in neck, going upward and downward, telling he's nodding.
"And are you exhausted?" Tempest said. The same feeling in her neck occured as Neighsay nods. Tempest chuckled and grabbed Neighsay's head slowly. She then gazed into his eyes and out came a smile.
"I can tell you feel the same...sweetie." Neighsay teased with a mischievous smile. Tempest looked at him with a visible eye roll.
"Neighsay...not in front of the crackers!" Tempest said. The twins then giggled, looking at their parents. Neighsay looked at her with a nervous smile. Ophiuchus then went down into Neighsay's hooves and lied down to and rest his head in one of his father's hooves, and Ophiuchus's hind legs rested near the other. Neighsay then leaned against Tempest's neck as he gazed into Ophiuchus.
Tempest then stroke his hair, and he eventually fell asleep, resting his muzzle next to Ophiuchus. Tempest smiled as she watch her boys asleep. Nightingale kept resting her head in her back and kept yawning. Tempest then chuckled and she snuggled her ponies to sleep. Neighsay wasn't slightly asleep at first, but he warmed up when Tempest snuggled along with him.
A few mintues later, Neighsay slowly blinked his eyes open, and found himself lying down on his side, and Tempest watching him dearly next to him. Tempest watched him with wingding eyes and a cute smile on her face.
"Where's the crackers?" Neighsay spoke. Tempest then pointed with her hoof at a crib. Neighsay turned around, looking at the trio.
"Someone had a good rest." Tempest chuckled. Neighsay then turned to her as he caressed her cheek.
"Sometimes I wonder if you or I am the husband." Neighsay said, starting to lead his head into her neck, and kisses it with the tip of his tongue. Tempest started to pat his mane roughly as she tries not to make a single moan.
"Neighsay, would you mind-, we talked about this..."
Neighsay then stopped, and turned to her.
"I'll have to ask you the same question I asked that one time..."
"What?"
"Did you like it?"
Tempest gazed at him, then suddenly buried her face into his chest. Tempest's face started warming up in Neighsay's sweater. Neighsay looked down at her and kissed her ear lightly. He then put a blanket over them, as he continued petting Tempest.
"That was too much, Neigh..." Tempest said, slowly turning up at him.
"I know. I'm sorry." Neighsay said.
"Don't be a sad cherry roll now. Since you're exhausted from work, I scheduled something tomorrow."
"What is it?"
"You'll find out."
Neighsay then snuggled her with his whole body.
"Night, darling." Tempest said.
"Love you, sweetie." Neighsay replied with a goodnight kiss.
