Challenging Defiance

“Well, no," Fenris flatly answered, rubbing his chin with a wing, “We’re just visiting the place. It’s been over a year since we’ve been there. Plus, I’ve been dying to have some of the ale the pub serves.”
“The same pub where I outdrank you and forced you to come along with the girls and I on that grand adventure? Seriously? We’re walking alllll this way for some drinks?” she pressed, looking at him with an annoyed grimace.
“You were the one that wanted to walk all the way there in the first place, Kara. We could’ve just taken the train and arrived in a day or two instead y'know,” he replied, raising his brow as he answered the mare.
“Oh c'mon, Fen, you can’t blame me for that!” she shot back, feigning offense. “When was the last time we went on a trip?”
Rolling his eyes, chuckling to himself, he continued. “We literally went on that trip to Saddle Arabia not even two months ago.” Sighing to himself, he gazed at the sky. “Also, it’ll take about four days to get there, so I’m sure something eventful is bound to happen.”
“Whatever - maybe for you two months isn’t that long, but for me it feels like an eternity!” the earth pony added.
“Being you constantly traveled around before we met, I suppose that would make sense,” he remarked, nodding his head in agreement.
She smugly smirked at the stud, stifling a chuckle. “Exactly! You were a shut-in recluse with no real friends for the longest time, so you’re totally fine with waiting around for months doing nothing much!”
“Firstly, rude.” Fenris retorted, gesturing to her with a wing. “You could have at least tried to sugarcoat that one. Secondly, I was one. If I were still that same pony, I’d still hate your guts!”
“Awwwww ~ Reminiscing back to when we were first getting to know each other?” she teased, throwing him a cheeky grin. “Missing when I used to almost knock you on your ass for not keeping your mouth shut? How about all those times I got you all red and fuming from the remarks I made? Hehe.”
Rolling his eyes once more, Fenris countered. “Oh I’m sure you totally miss back when I was doing those exact same things to you. You and I going at each other’s throats, arguing over who’s better.”
“It’s still me by the way," Kara sharply added, elbowing the stallion.
“You had to be the greater one at some point to still be it. Last I checked, you’ve always slacked behind me," he teased, flicking her head with a wing.
“Oh you wish.”
The two walked on, chuckling lightly while taking in the natural scenery around them. The lush woods they were in were uncharted for the most part, but Kara had years of traveling under her belt, more than enough for her to figure out the best way to navigate the unknown terrain.
Their trip so far had been rather mundane, with the only noteworthy event being fending off some diamond dogs that had an interest in their camp. Being these two carried with them two very powerful magical artifacts, that event was short lived. They prided themselves on their ability to fight, conquering foe after foe, and they made that aspect of themselves very clear.
Wielding an enchanted scarf, one that allowed him to utilize dark magic to the same level as somepony like King Sombra, Fenris was quite the force to be reckoned with. Accompanying that with Kara wielding a magical necklace, which allowed her to summon either a spear or a mace, alongside her years of combative training, and the duo were certainly more than capable of fending for themselves.
On and on they went, trotting down the shoddily formed path. To their knowledge, nopony really ever ventured along the track they were traveling - something they did purposely. They had arranged it as such with the hopes to experience some new, unique experiences, but to their dismay, nothing of significance was yet to pop up.
Finding several more hours passing by, with nothing more than the occasional wild critter to catch her eye. Kara groaned. “Ugh ~ I’m all for spending time with you Fen but this is getting so dull."
“What am I supposed to do about that?” he asked. Shifting his vision to her flank, something he had grown to do frequently in their time together, he drank in their delicious form. “Unless, maybe somepony would like to take a break to - oh I dunno - blow off some steam? ~”
Quizzically looking towards him, it took Kara only a moment to follow where his eyes were staring and understand what he meant. Blush subtly creeping across her muzzle, she swayed her hips in a tantalizing manner.
“Oh? Is the big bad Fenris liking what he’s seeing?” she seductively teased, looking at him with lidded eyes.
Biting his lip, drinking in the sight of his partner’s wonderous curves, Fenris paused his trot, watching as Kara too halted her motions. Raising a hind leg, revealing his ever growing stallionhood, he glanced over at her. “I think this big guy’s got your answer ~”
His presentation was all the confirmation she needed. Waltzing towards him, swaying her hips all the while, Kara stood up and pressed her forelegs against his chest. Catching him off guard, she continued to gently shove the pegasus back until he sat on his haunches, then went further and laid back on the grass they had been walking on. Not giving him time to make a comment, she pressed her lips against his, pulling him into a gentle yet deep kiss.
Pulling away from him, she smirked. “I don’t know how I ever hated an absolute stud like you.” Reaching down, she lovingly stroked his stallionhood. “Especially one packing something like this.”
Biting his lip, suppressing a soft moan from the stimulation, Fenris reached down with his own hoof. Passing over Kara’s tail, he grabbed her flank and spread her buns apart, feeling her juices drip onto his thigh. “Dunno ~ I always ask myself how I could’ve disliked a sexy thing like you. Especially with that juicy pussy of yours~”
“You only know it’s like that cause you fuck it all the time~” Kara teased, licking his neck as she felt her marehood give an excited wink.
Shifting his bodyweight, Fenris rolled to his side and pulled Kara with him, forcing her onto her back. Eliciting a surprised gasp from the mare, he pinned her forelegs to the ground. Dragging his cock along the folds of her marehood, slickening it with her juices, he looked down at her.
“True, and you know you love it ~”
Biting her lip in anticipation, Kara squirmed excitedly. “Mmmmm ~ So you’re just gonna plow me here? In the open? Where anypony could - ahn!”
Fenris used the arcane properties of his scarf to cut the mare off. Shrouding her perky tits in his magic, he lovingly caressed them while pulling and twisting her nipples. “Not like anypony is gonna be all the way out here ~ Besides, I’m sure you’d love it if somepony caught us in the act," he teased, leaning forward and nipping her ear.
“Mmmmm haaaa ~ Give me it Fen," she cooed, leaning her head against his and licking his neck a second time.
Shivering in excitement from her actions, Fenris raised his head back up and stared her in the eyes. Pausing for a moment, basking in the wondrous site of her cerulean gaze, he snickered. “Trust me, I -“
He cut himself short, as something caught his attention. Kara’s attention was drawn as well, as both their ears perked up, and they heard a set of voices not too far away.
“I’m telling you Malikii, there’s no point in going out there. How are you even going to convince a pony mare or stallion to come all the way out here?”
“Because Adeau, many ponies would be quite happy to embrace our ways. Just takes finding one or two first.”
The two of them exchanged looks with each other, sweat beading down their brows as blushes spread across their muzzles. Having possible company was both embarrassing as it was arousing, but being they haven’t had any company for some time they rather not start off on such an awkward hoof. Scrambling to their hooves, they dusted themselves off, made an effort to conceal themselves, and scurried back to the proper path.
Hopping out of the brush, they came face to face with the voices they heard. Initially taken aback by their sudden appearance, two zebra studs recoiled slightly, eyeing the pair with both caution and surprise. Seeing their hesitance, Fenris raised his forehooves in an innocent manner.
“Dammit, didn’t mean to startle you both. We - uh - were…” he trailed off, trying to think of a proper excuse for their placement.
“We were gathering some sticks and materials! Nice to meet you!” Kara swiftly interjected, popping her head in front of Fenris.
The two zebras exchanged glances, peered over at the set of ponies, eyed them both, and looked back to each other. They paused for a few moments, seemingly deep in thought, before briefly sharing a smirk, throwing a lidded glare at Fenris and Kara, and finally adorning a set of sly smiles.
“Well isn’t this a surprise! Two ponies, all the way out here?” Adeau chipped.
Fenris rubbed the back of his head, awkwardly shifting his hind legs as he attempted to conceal his unquenched arousal. “Hehe ~ yup! We’re pretty far off the normal path I suppose. I’m Fenris, and this is Kara.”
The mare gave a quick greeting nod, before she scrunched her muzzle and rubbed her thighs together. Adeau and Malikii took notice of the pair's squirming forms, but opted to not make a comment on it. Not yet. The opportunity to have not one, but two ponies in this area was incredibly rare, and they were intent on taking advantage of it.
“I’m Malikii, and this is my brother Adeau. If I may ask, why were you two gathering twigs and such?” the stallion inquired, giving a warm smile.
Kara’s facade wavered slightly, both due to her lust and the unexpected immediate friendliness of these two zebras. “Oh ~ uh ~ we’ve been camping out in these woods for a few days. We’re making our way towards Fenris’ old town, which is a bit of a trek away so…”
Malikii and his brother once again exchanged glances, smirked, and then nodded to one another. Raising a foreleg to his chest, Adeau chuckled. “Well why would you spend the night out here in the wilderness when you could be staying in our village?”
Fenris raised a brow, looking around the area. “Your village? There’s a village out here?”
Malikii’s smile wavered, annoyed by the stallion’s lack of respect. These were traditional Zebrican practice grounds, ones established many moons ago by Equestrian zebras, though, as expected, a creature such as a pony failed to recall or acknowledge this.
“Yes, these are actually Equestrian Zebrican lands. Us zebras have made use of the land for generations, though I am not shocked that you aren’t aware. Not many ponies come through this area.” He eyed the pair, slipping his gaze towards their flanks, licking his lips. “Not many at all…”
He was honestly shocked at just how lucky he and his tribe as a whole may have just been. Kara and Fenris were both incredible specimens. Both had gracious curves, toned bodies, enticing faces, and flanks that you could bounce a bit off. He wished he could see what they both had in their more personal areas, but if his silent plan with his brother played out, he’d know soon enough. He wasn’t picky, nor were his brother and tribe - but these two were more than ideal.
The duo of flustered ponies continued to awkwardly shift in place, taking notice of how the two zebras were eyeing them. The two were massive, towering over Kara, and even Fenris, with ease. Rippled muscle lay underneath their striped coats, and they carried a dominant aura with them. Though these two adventurers weren’t the type to be intimidated, thankfully for their immense skill and magic artifacts, they still had to respect the possible threat these zebras could be.
“Uh - ahem - right. Well, that’s really nice but we really should go back to gather some…uh supplies," Kara awkwardly added. “We don’t want to intrude.”
As Adeau lightly sniffed the air, a devilish smile creeped across his countenance. Though he didn’t come across ponies often, the scent of a worked up one was unmistakable - and he now knew that these two were up to something much more provocative than gathering firewood.
“Oh no, I believe you’re misunderstanding us. We’re inviting you both to our village! We’d love to have you stay the night and even possibly the next day!” he hastily replied.
The pair of ponies managed to compose themselves, quelling the burning desire in them to their best ability. The way the two zebras were eyeing them was peculiar to say the least, which only made them all the more wary.
Eying Kara from the corner of his eye, avoiding the two zebras’ stares, Fenris tugged his scarf. “Riiiiight…Could you give us a minute?”
Malikii gave them a warm smile, nodding his head. “Of course. Just keep in mind, we have warm food, fresh bedding, and tea that will amaze you with its effects.”
The pair of ponies seemed to perk up at the notion of what was to offer, he even regarded the tea in an odd tone of voice - even still, they had their reservations.
“Right, right ~ one sec," Kara replied, giving an awkward smile while nudging Fenris.
Exchanging nods with the two zebras, they quickly trotted back into the brush and out of earshot.
Turning his head back, making note that they should be far enough to not be heard, Fenris focused his gaze on Kara. “What do you think?”
Kara huffed, thinking to herself, before shrugging her shoulders. “I dunno. The idea of a nice warm bed, food, and something at least somewhat interesting happening does sound better than boring old camping in the wilderness.”
“I suppose,” Fenris muttered, glancing over his shoulder once more, “but did you see how those two were looking at us?”
“Like they were checking us out?” Kara flatly stated.
Fenris’ eyes went wide, quickly turning his attention back to his partner. “You think that’s what they were doing?”
“Beats me, but it looked like it," she added, slowly walking over towards him and pressing a hoof to his shoulder. “Sucks for them if they were, cause you’re my curvy stud.”
Fenris chuckled, licking his lips as he stared into the mare’s eyes. “And you’re my curvy mare.” He gazed behind them again, looking in the direction their company was. “Still…what if they try anything?”
“Then we’ll just knock them on their asses," Kara smugly replied, snickering to herself. “I mean, after all, we’ve got the tools and experience to best anypony in a fight, let alone a couple of zebras.”
“True, there’s probably not many of them out here anyways…” Fenris tapped his chin, thinking. “I guess there’s no harm in taking up their offer, they’re probably friendly anyways.”
Kara flashed magic from her necklace, throwing a cocky smirk towards the stallion. “And if they aren't~”
“Then we’ll take care of them with ease~” Fenris followed, sharing the same boastful expression as the mare.
Pulling back from him and trotting to his side, Kara bumped the side of her flank against his. “Alright then! Let’s go take them up on their offer!”
Fenris simply nodded in agreement, wheeling around and following suit. After a few short moments, the two exited the brush, meeting the two zebra studs once more, and smiled.
“After talking a bit, we’d love to visit your village!”
“And enjoy some of your food and drinks! I’m sure you guys have stuff we’ve never seen!”
Adeau gave the pair a warm smile, before wheeling around and motioning them to follow. “Fantastic! It truly will be our pleasure to show you our village…and our customs.”
Malikii followed his companion, glancing back at the pair of ponies. “And I can assure you, we have some herbal mixes that you’ve certainly never experienced before ~”
“Oh really? Well, my mom taught me allllll about herbs growing up - it was kind of her thing, so I’m quite sure it’ll be hard to surprise me with anything," Kara proudly remarked, smirking at the pair of zebras.
Malikii and Adeau briefly exchanged glances, traces of worry descending upon them for a moment.
Nodding his head, adorning a facade of overwhelming friendliness, Malikii smiled at the mare. “Well, isn’t that wonderful! But, here’s hoping you won’t know what we have to offer!”
Increasing their trot’s pace, distancing themselves partially from their following guests, Malikii whispered into his brother’s ear. “You think she knows about Estrum?”
Retracting a bit, realizing Kara very well may know of their special little ingredient, Adeau rolled his eyes. “So what if she does? We haven’t had an opportunity like this in moons.” Pressing closer to Malikii, he whispered directly into his ear. “We’re making these two our village bitches. Simple as that.”
Reassured by his sibling’s confidence, Malikii looked back at the two ponies hastily catching up to them. Their gracious curves, enticing faces, and other quirks made them incredibly good catches, ones that would make for phenomenal toys for his village. A mare and stallion - best of both worlds. Adeau was right, they couldn’t pass this up. The opportunity laid out before them was just too good.
“And fine bitches they’ll be…”
