Too Rare To Question (Chapter 3)

Previous Chapter

Fluttershy woke up, trying to stretch her legs, but found there was no of doing so because they were bound to the cave wall, though she STILL had no idea what was going on around her because the fog was even thicker than it was before. She tried to scream only to find that she couldn’t make even the tiniest peep. Her mouth was glued shut, and she was in the worst pain. It was incomparable to anything she had ever felt in her entire life.

“Oh, goodie. You’re awake.” Rarity exclaimed with far too much joy. She had a twisted and distorted smile on her face, as she carefully assembled a various number of sharp objects in an array on a tray. “This won’t hurt a bit.” Rarity snickered as she took a scalpel as choice of her first cutting tool.

Fluttershy struggled to get free of the demented pony’s psychotic game. All she could do was sit there and watch as her former friend cut her into pieces. As the first blade met her flesh, she ripped the skin off her lips as she pried her mouth open and let out the most excruciating scream.

“Oh Fluttershy. You’re making this much harder than it really has to be.” Rarity shook her head in disappointment. “You’re just causing us both more trouble, and neither of us want that, do we?”

“I h-h-hate you. Why are you doing this to me?” Fluttershy’s eyes filled with hatred for Rarity. “I thought we were friends. Who did this to you? Is this even you? What deranged asshole did this to you?”

“Oh, so many questions, so little time.” Rarity spoke as she made the second incision on Fluttershy’s now crimson red body, and she screamed even louder. “You’re quite the screamer. I didn’t think you had it in you!” Rarity gave her a nasty smile with the words that passed her lips.

“P-p-p-please don’t do this. We’re friends, remember?” Fluttershy shrieked as the blade of the scalpel dragged across her fur, oozing out blood as the gash grew larger. “What’s wrong with you!?” Fluttershy queried with a cold, hard voice.

“Oh, nothing’s wrong with me. I’m perfectly fine, Fluttershy.” Rarity sang in amusement. She was having far too much fun killing Fluttershy, who was terrified and alone. Then again, she was a very, very timid pony to begin with.

“Please, please let me go. I promise not to tell anyone about this, I mean, if that’s okay with you.” Fluttershy cried as she gave Rarity the friendliest look she could muster. Her eyes filled with tears because she knew in her poor, defenseless heart, that Rarity wouldn’t cooperate. “Goodbye, Rarity. Just finish me now, i-i-it would be best that way. You were an amazing friend, and you won’t be forgotten.” Fluttershy took a deep inhale, and let her tears shed down her face, onto her half-hearted smile.

“RARITY???? FLUTTERSHY?” They both heard Applejack scream at the top of her lungs. They both cocked their heads quickly in the direction of the voice. Before Fluttershy could scream back, Rarity shoved some pills down her throat and she was out cold. Quickly Rarity packed everything and hid it away. She only had moments left before they would find her out; she was panicking. But, as any intelligent psychopath she new exactly what to do and let Fluttershy drop to the ground with a thud as she untied her from the cave wall.

Rarity’s eyes filled with fake, heartless tears and she started screaming back “HELLO? WHERE ARE YOU?! Something happened to Fluttershy!”

“Oh god! Rarity, lead us to your voice! We need to help her!” Twilight’s voice echoed off the cave walls and bounced around for a few seconds before fading into nothing.

“Okay, I’m coming to you!” Rarity wailed, trying to stifle a laugh at her friends’ pain. She started galloping towards them, at full speed to keep her act going, and not let them on that she was faking everything. “Oh goodness, are you okay? Where’s Fluttershy? Is she conscious? Is she going to die?” Twilight filled Rarity’s head with 1,000 questions before she had the chance to answer any of them.

“Will you SHUT UP? We must hurry if we’re going to get to her before she dies!” Rarity screamed at Twilight in fake agony and pain, as more heartless tears filled her eyes. “Hurry, come with me.” She made sure to take her time getting to Fluttershy so maybe the pony would bleed to death before they had a chance to save her. But finally, she had to stop stalling before she blew her cover and they figured out something was up. “Okay, it’s just over here.” Rarity sang, almost in amusement.

“Flutteryshy? Are you okay?” Rainbow asked in a hoarse, rigid voice. If only she remembered what happened to her, then she would have known Rarity was the attacker. No answer, just the sound of all the ponies panting in hysteria. “Is.. Is she gone?” Rainbow’s question bounced around in everyponys’ heads for a few minutes. Nopony had enough hope to go see if the poor, helpless pony was even breathing.

“I think so, Dash…” Rarity pretended to be as upset and confused as everyone else. But, with that sentence, Fluttershy’s eyes flickered open with a few pained blinks.
