Raise of the Moon
Unfamiliarity
Previous ChapterI sighed softly looking out the window there were so many unfamiliar faces I’ve never seen before, faces that I wasn’t expecting to see around here.
They weren’t my friends, but shadows of someone I hadn’t seen before. . . I couldn’t help but reach out hoping to see if the figure would do the same and it did.
“Who are you? What are you doing here? Why do I feel like I know you, but yet there’s something so unfamiliar about you that I don’t understand. . . Was there something I’m missing?”
I knew I wasn’t going to get the answers I needed, but the unfamiliarity was sitting so heavy on my shoulders.
‘You are the sacrifice. . . You are the blood queen.’
I jolted looking around until the shadow was looking back at me its grip suddenly tightened around my neck. . . Air was leaving my lungs quicker than I could try and get this thing off of me, what did this thing mean when it said I was the ‘Blood Queen’?
I was so confused by this statement, the pain was unbearable. . . I was losing a fight I had no idea I was fighting, this was my fault. . .
I wanted my friends, I wanted the answers to all of this. . .
Was I going insane? This was my fault wasn’t it? I couldn’t help but laugh my last laugh closing my eyes.
It won, it finally had me. . . Whatever it had in store for me I was ready.
I never gotten to tell Dash how I truly felt.
