2 Pony toilets are of the ‘hole in the floor’ variety so that they can be used standing or squatting. The human ‘sitting toilet with the tank on the back’ would be impossible for tail-havers to sit on and would be sprayed by penis-havers who can’t see to aim down there.

3 Which Twilight was starting to suspect was a manifestation of some kind of instinctive Earth pony magic. She certainly wasn’t the first to think of this; the unicorn academic establishment dismissed ‘Earth pony magic’ as superstition and confirmation bias, but that attitude didn’t make the claims go away. But, she wasn’t about to stake her credibility on exploring itany more than she already had. Partly because this alleged magic wasn’t as willing to play nice with existing magic measuring equipment, and partly because if she did prove Earth Pony magic existed Pinkie might be smug about it.

4 Poorly understood by unicorns. Poorly understood by unicorns because most unicorn Universities relegate the study of pegasus magic to the equipology department. Prank culture being as entrenched as it is in pegasus society, when khaki-clad, pith helmet-wearing unicorns self-levitate into their cities asking to be immersed in their ‘quaint spiritual customs’ pegasus weather workers are only too happy to oblige.
