Maretime Bay 10:00am

In the beautiful and peaceful coastal city of Maretime Bay, the earth ponies, unicorns and pegasus were all seen having a chat with one another, doing work, eating food, playing with one another and many more in this beautiful city of the earth ponies before the reunification. Life was going steadily and well for them all.

In the sheriff's station, a red coloured earth pony with a slicked back, blond mane, white socks, maroon hooves, and wavy blond tail was seen doing some paperwork for his friend. The stallion is known as Sprout Cloverleaf, the deputy of Maretime Bay.

Ever since his defeat years ago, Sprout has made a promise to the community to never do any of these heinous acts ever again and demoted himself from emperor back to deputy. During those moments, Sprout has been doing nothing but assisting the community with work, cleaning up the streets, helping other ponies establishing friendship and trusts with one another and many more. All of his kind actions has made Hitch proud of him as he was welcomed back as a deputy from the mane five and the citizen as he has earned all of their forgiveness and trusts again.

"I'm glad that I'm almost halfway done with the paperwork." Sprout told himself with a smile. "I wonder how Hitch and Sunny are doing right now? I bet that they're having another romantic date like all couples do." He said with a chuckle.

Just as Sprout was nearly done with everything, he looked at the clock and realized that it was his time to assist the workers. So, he stacked the other three paperwork that he still needs to complete and stood up from his office chair. Suddenly, the doors of the sheriff's office were pulled open.

"Sprouty!"

Sprout's eyes widened when he heard the familiar voice, he looked to the doors to see the cheerful unicorn Izzy Moonbow also known as the love of his life standing there. Ever since Sprout began to voluntarily do community services, the cheerful unicorn Izzy Moonbow has been helping him out a lot with collecting trash and helping to establish friendship between other ponies. The earth pony stallion was so grateful for her contribution that he developed a crush on her and so did Izzy. However, Sprout was a bit hesitant on his decision on marrying a unicorn due to him not knowing how Izzy would enjoy his way of life. Nonetheless, she is extremely beautiful in her own way.

"Oh, h-hi Izzy, what a surprise to see you here." Sprout said with blushes on his cheeks.

"Hello Sprouty!" Izzy greeted again which made Sprout blush as the nickname again. "What are you planning to do today?" She asked.

"Oh nothing, I'm just preparing to assist the sanitation workers with their job roles in cleaning the city." Sprout replied.

"Oh cool! Mind if I help you out?"

"Sure, but, as long as you stay out of trouble." He told her.

Izzy nodded in response and Sprout walked to her. When they were together, they both walked out of the sheriff station together and made their way to the streets to assist the sanitation workers.

When both Sprout and Izzy made it to the streets where many leaves and trash were present on the floor, the earth pony stallion and the unicorn mare both grabbed brooms from the sanitation workers and began to do their work which the workers are extremely grateful for. Sprout took the role of sweeping the trash while Izzy took the role of putting them in trash bags and tossing then in large dumpsters located in alleyways.

"Izzy, I'm done with this one, can you get the trash bag over please?" Sprout called her.

"I'm on my way Sprouty." Izzy said in a cheerful tone with an empty trash bag.

Izzy was going to head to her lover Sprout and allow him to put the remaining trash into the empty trash bag that she is currently holding. But suddenly, the gaiety unicorn did not notice a banana peel on the floor and she slipped onto it.

"Whoa!" Yelped Izzy.

"Ah! Izzy!" Sprout said as he dropped both the broomstick and the dustpan onto the floor before running to Izzy.

Izzy was going to fall onto her back on the hard concrete floor but luckily, her stallion of her dreams managed to catch her in his hooves and put her in a dipping position. The unicorn then stared at Sprout with a dreamy expression before giggling and Sprout laughed back.

"Thank for the catch Sprouty."

"You're welcome Izzy."

Minutes after their cleaning duty was completed, Sprout and Izzy both went to the daycare where the couple both began to tell foals the story of how Sunny heroically reunified all of the pony species in Equestria with courage and bravery along with the help of her friends and lover Hitch Trailblazer.

"Wow, Sunny sure is brave." A filly said.

"Indeed she is little buddy." Sprout agreed with a nod. "She is also the one who helped me turn over a new leaf afterward which I'm extremely grateful for." He added.

Sprout then went along saying how oblivious he was to the fact that friendship was the key to everything due to the fact that he comprehended all of these violent nonsense about the other pony races when he was a little colt but luckily, Izzy was able to show how innocent others were which he is entirely grateful for too. Things were going smoothly until.

"Mr Sprout, is Izzy your marefriend?" A filly asked.

Both Sprout and Izzy blushed slightly from hearing this question. The stallion wanted to answer her but suddenly, Izzy spoke up.

"Well little one, he is technically my sweet Mr grumpy pants." Izzy replied as she nuzzled him.

"Since when did you come up with that Izzy?" Sprout asked with a chuckle nuzzling her back.

"Since today." She giggled.

The sight of the couple nuzzling and loving each other made the colts and fillies of the daycare squeal at the sight of how cute the couple were.

After spending time with the foals in daycare, Sprout and Izzy's next stop was the restaurant for some lunch where they both ordered pizza with Sprout paying for their meal with his bits that he has earned for his hard work. As their order arrived, both couple began to eat the scrumptious meal.

While they eat, Sprout took a second to admire Izzy's cute and beauitful face as she was eating her meal. The stallion looked at her cheek to see that she has a sauce stain on her left cheek.

"Oh Izzy."

"Yes Sprouty?"

"You have a pizza stain on your right cheek." Sprout told her. "Here let me wipe that off of you." He offered as he grabbed a napkin.

After that he brought the napkin towards Izzy's right cheek and began to gently wipe the stain off of her in a compassionate way which made the cheerful unicorn mare blush. A brief second later, Sprout has successfully wiped the stain off of Izzy's right cheek.

"There, everything's done." Sprout told her with a smile.

"Thanks so much Sprouty." Izzy said with blushes on her cheeks.

"You're very welcome Izzy Wizzy."

Maretime Bay Beach 6:00pm

After their compassionate lunch time, Sprout and Izzy's last stop was the beach where they decided to relax and watch the sunset together before they conclude their day together. Sprout has his left hoof wrapped around Izzy's neck gently which made her nuzzle him.

As they relaxed, Izzy turned to look at Sprout and blushed at how handsome he was. She felt ready for the next phase of their relationship.

"Hey Sprouty?"

"Yes Izzy?" Sprout asked looking at her.

"I feel like I'm now ready to be your mate." Izzy told him as she climbed on him. "Can you be my husband?" She asked as she rested herself on top of him.

Sprout hesitated from this request, although he does loves Izzy with all of his life, he felt as if he could not keep up with this relationship due to him fearing that Izzy might not enjoy his life style, in addition to that, he does not know how their child will be like. The stallion then let out a sigh before doing the hard decision.

"I'm so sorry Izzy, but I can't." Sprout refused with a shake of his head.

"Wh-what? Why not?" Izzy asked with a sad expression.

"I-its because I don't think that you'll enjoy my earth pony lifestyle when I move out with you." He replied with a sad expression of his own.

"I-it doesn't matter Sprouty, we both love each other, we can find a solution to make it all work." Izzy told him in a more depressed tone.

"I'm sorry Izzy but, it's not just our differences that we have to be concerned about. I fear for our foal too, he or she might be different or scary upon birth. We just have to face it Izzy."

At this point, Izzy began to shed some tears of sadness from hearing this extremely sad statement from Sprout. Without warning, the once cheerful unicorn got off of her lover before running back home in tears.

Sprout was disconsolate when he saw that he has rejected his one and true love when he could've accepted her and have a daughter or a son of their own but, this was the only solution that they have to face.

"I guess that it's time for me to return to the sheriff's station and go back with doing the last three paperwork." Sprout told himself in a depressed tone before standing up and walking to the entrance of the beach.

However, unknown to the stallion, there were a stallion and a mare named Hitch and Sunny seen looking at their friend Sprout with an unhappy expression.

"Poor Izzy." Sunny said with a sad expression of her own.

"We have to make things right Sunny baby." Hitch said nuzzling her and she nuzzled back.

In the sheriff station, Sprout was seen doing the last three remaining paperwork, and he seems to be having trouble focusing and getting the previous event that had occured out of his mind, he couldn't believed that he rejected Izzy in an impudent way, now, the unicorn that he loves and cares for must be feeling extremely disconsolate.

"Why did I do that to Izzy?"

Then, the doors of the sheriff's station were pulled open. Deputy Sprout looked to the doors to see his friends Hitch and Sunny standing there and entering the building.

"Oh, hello there you two, what brings you two here?" Sprout asked as he got off of his chair.

"Sprout buddy, we saw what had happened between you and Izzy." Sunny told him with a sad expression. "How could you reject her like that?" She asked.

"I-I'm sorry you two, it's just that, I don't think that our relationship would work due to her being a unicorn and me being an earth pony. I'm just-"

"No no, listen to me Sprout." Hitch told him as he placed his right hoof on his left shoulder. "Love is not determined by your species whether you're same or not. It's determined by how much a couple love each other. Besides, the way you hung out with Izzy and did some work with her today already proves it." He added with a smile.

Sprout took a while to acknowledge and comprehend what his good friends Hitch and Sunny both said in a veracious tone. They were so true that he loves Izzy so much and so did she, and their day today already proves it.

"Y-you're correct Hitch, I guess that I do love Izzy."

"That's correct Sprout. Now, go to the Crystal Brighthouse and give Izzy this." Sunny told him as she gave him a pack of flowers.

Sprout nodded before grabbing the pack of flowers. After receiving a pat on the right shoulder from Hitch, the deputy of Maretime Bay exited the sheriff's station and took off into the Crystal Brighthouse to make things right with Izzy.

In the Crystal Brighthouse, Izzy was seen bawling her eyes out on the couch in the living room of her and her friends large house where they all live in. The love of her life has rejected her and now, she's left with nothing.

"My Sprouty, how much I miss you."

"Hey Izzy."

Izzy's eyes widened when she heard the familiar voice, she stopped crying and looked in front of her to see her stallion Sprout standing in front of her with a smile on his muzzle.

"Gah! Sprout!" Izzy exclaimed with a startled expression. "H-how did you get in here?" She asked.

"Through the window." He replied pointing at the opened window. Then, Izzy faced away Sprout.

"What are you doing here anyways Sprout?" Izzy asked.

"Izzy, I'm here to apologize to you. For what had happened earlier at the beach, I felt bad for rejecting you like that when I should've expressed my love for you back."

"Yeah, you already made your point when yo. Said that you do not love me anyways so, why do you care anyways?"

"Izzy." Sprout said as he held her chin and made her look into his sad eyes. "I'm so sorry for everything that I've said to you at the beach, I was just so terrified that you might not like my way of life and that our daughter or son would be bullied or something. I was a coward for leaving you there like that. Izzy, I will always love you, do you think that you could forgive me my love?" He asked.

Izzy eyes widened when she heard Sprout confessing his love to her back in a very loving and caring tone. Her eyes began to tear up and she pounced on Sprout and kissed him in the lips in a way to reply to him that she forgives him.

Sprout was happy from the sight that he has been forgiven by his love life Izzy Moonbow so, he wrapped his hooves around her back and kissed her back. He vows to stay by her side and love her for forever. However, unknown to the couple, Sunny and Hitch were looking at them through the window where Sprout entered through, and they were staring at the couple with a warm expression.

"Another great couple has found love Sunny." Hitch cooed.

"Indeed they have my brave stallion Hitch." Sunny cooed nuzzling her lover Hitch.
