The colt raised by wolves
When Rarity brought the Cutie Mark Crusaders to Fluttershys' cottage for their regular sleep over she thought nothing of it.
She had hosted these sleep overs before.
But when Rarity entered with the girls she saw a mess like none other she had seen at Fluttershys'.
Fluttershy slightly chuckled and asked that they close the door before he got out.
Rarity
The girls and I looked around and asked how all this happened.
The sound of growling came from the kitchen and when we looked over a smelly colt emerged before they stopped and sniffed at us.
I gave Fluttershy a questioning glance and she began to explain.
Fluttershy
Yesterday evening one of my nocturnal animal friends came to tell me that they had found a colt alone in the Everfree Forest.
I couldn't wait to get help so I went looking for them.
When I found them I noticed that they were speaking wolf.
According to him a wolf pack had found lost and alone in the Everfree Forest and taken him in, but recently a mantacore had eaten his wolf family.
So I brought him home with me.
After finding new homes for the fleas and ticks I gave him a bath though it would still take some time before the smell faded.
Rarity
I listened as Fluttershy explained where the colt came from I looked between her and the colt who was now sniffing the cutie mark crusaders as they inspected him in return.
Looking back at Fluttershy I asked if she was sure that it was safe for the crusaders to be around him.
She assured me that it was perfectly safe when Sweetie Belle asked what he was doing.
When I looked over at them I saw that the colt was dragging Sweetie Belle by the tail towards the kitchen.
With a nervous voice I asked Fluttershy what he was doing.
Fluttershy blushed slightly and said that he was trying to bring her back to his den to mate.

A small moment of silence passed as Rarity stared at me.
The cutie mark crusaders all looked confused for a moment before realization appeared on their faces.
Then there was a flash followed by a loud banging sound.
Holding a frying pan in her magic that I could see had a large dent in it I turned my gaze to the colt and saw that he was unconscious.

"How dare he attempt to do such an unspeakable act on my dear little sister!" I yelled.
Fluttershy would need to keep an eye on him and make sure that he understood basic decency at the least.
I only refrained from calling him flea biten both because even if it was true it would have been rude and Fluttershy had gone out of her way to re-home them, whatever that meant.
Using my magic I brought out Opalescences' carrier and told Fluttershy to keep him in it when he woke up unless he agreed to not try that again.
Fluttershy sighed and said that she didn't have much of a choice.
She carefully lifted his unconscious body and gently placed him in the carrier.
Sweetie Belle and her friends were discussing what they thought his cutie mark meant.
To be honest I had not even realized that until I heard them mention it.
Looking at him through the crate I saw that he was a earth pony with a mane and coat that were a matching spade of dark gray but he had a lighter gray underbelly.
His cutie mark appeared to be a wolf fang or at least something similar.
I can assume that it was because he was raised by wolves.
Since I still had prior arrangements to be attended I had to be on my way.
Telling Sweetie Belle and her friends to not cause any problems for Fluttershy.
Just before leaving I asked Fluttershy to pass on that statement to the colt as well.
Fluttershy
When the colt started to wake back up he was confused by the carrier he found himself in.
The cutie mark crusaders came by as I explained why he was in the carrier and why the way he tried to mate with Sweetie Belle was not okay.
It was a bit weird to have this talk with him while the cutie mark crusaders were watching but he didn't seem to mind all that much.
When I let him out of the carrier he apologized to Sweetie Belle, and with help from her and the other cutie mark crusaders I spent the night to help him learn a bit more about pony society.
With help from the cutie mark crusaders we also worked together to come up with a pony name for him, settling on Woof Wolf.
While Woof was not sure why he got his cutie mark the girls believe it was for working with wolves and other k9s.
Personally I felt that it was a good fit with what I had seen of him since I first brought him home earlier today.
When Apple Bloom asked what I planned for his education I realized that a conventional education may not work out for him.
Though I that since I would be training him for his potential future career I could do that to, especially with help from my friends.
Some years later...
When I woke up I heard the tell tale signs of Woof Wolf having gotten up early.
Making my way down stairs I heard the sound of cooking in the kitchen.
When I entered I saw breakfast making itself like it always had since Discord came up with the idea.
Looking out the window I saw Woof Wolf brushing Dave's puppies.
Rarity still found it hard to believe that he was the same colt I found in the Everfree Forest all those years ago.
Even so I know that it was thanks to his own hard work that he has come as far as he had.
