Prologue

Hey everypony this is a fic that me and a buddy diamondMAN have been thinking about working on for a while now so enjoy

Hi. I am Steel Diamond and I would like to tell you how I ended up in Equestria.

*flashback to 3 days before the train wreck*

I was working my usual shift for UPS (United Parcel Service), hauling packages to customers that ordered them. After finishing my shift for the day, my boss called and asked me if I could work the night shift for tonight. I thought to myself. “this could get me some more money that I need.”

I accepted and started the night shift. In that night alone, I had delivered 50 to 100 packages. I felt good with myself and punched out at around midnight. I got home at 1am, and got to bed around 1:30.

THE NEXT DAY (2 days before the crash)

I had arrived at work the next morning tired, but ready for the day. My boss called me into his office as I was about to start my shift. “Steel, it has come to my attention that you are in need of a new truck.” I nodded and said, “Yeah. I need a new truck. My other truck almost died three times last night.”

I was given the keys to my new truck, which happened to be an 18 wheeler big rig truck. As usual, I worked my shift, delivering packages and all that good stuff. I got a call from my boss as I was about to deliver my last package and he said I had the night shift again, and he said there were important packages that couldn’t wait for the morning.

So, here I am. Driving a semi truck at night with a trailer full of fragile goods. I got back to the depot at about 11:30 pm, got home at 12, went to bed at 1:30.

*2 days later* Day of the crash

I was starting my shift when my boss asked me to go to the main warehouse to get a load of supplies for a construction site. I agreed to the job.

I started driving on the interstate. About halfway to the main UPS warehouse, I saw a car broken down car on a set of train tracks and I heard a train coming. I had a choice. Either let the person die and keep my job, or save the person and risk paying the ultimate price. I chose to save the person. I drove up to the SUV that was stuck on the tracks and shunted it out of the way. I had no time to jump clear as a fully loaded coal train hit my truck, killing me INSTANTLY.

*in an unknown location*

I was lying on I think was either red carpet, or a solid stone floor. I got up and looked around, surprised to even be alive after that train crash. At first, the colors were trippy. “what the fuck am I seeing?” I walked around for about 30 to 40 minutes when I heard someone talking. I didn’t catch the name of whoever was talking at the time, but whoever it was sounded like they were royalty or something.

I shrugged and kept walking along until I was either hopelessly lost, or until I could figure out where the hell the entrance to this place was. I came across two very large golden doors. “this must be the entrance to this place” I pushed open the doors and found out that it wasn’t the entrance, but the throne room.

I looked around to see if anyone was there, but sadly, no one was there. I was about to walk out when the golden doors shut behind me. I thought ‘oh fuck’ and tried to open the large doors, but to no avail.

After failing to open the large doors, I looked to see if there was another way out. There were large windows, but I instantly thought against jumping out the window and potentially to my unfortunate death. “What do I do now? I can’t open those doors since they are made of solid gold, and I am not jumping out the window to my death. How do I get out now? I am so confused!”

As soon as I had finished that sentence, I heard faint footsteps or.. hoofsteps I couldn’t tell, but they were headed this way. I hid myself behind the throne and wondered what would happen from there. I decided I would try to get out of this huge castle at night.

I heard the doors open and I heard someone coming my way. I didn’t say a word as the hoofsteps got closer and closer to me. I almost pissed myself when I heard someone say this: “somepony find whoever it was that left that THING in the castle!”

I kept still and silent as whoever it was began searching for me. This lasted until about midnight. I managed to sneak out of the castle without being seen, or so I thought. As I approached the exit to the castle, I was surrounded by guards. I facepalmed and blamed myself for being such an idiot.

“Fuck! I was so close too! I guess this is what I get for trying to be stealthy.” I thought as I heard metallic hoofsteps coming in my general direction. I turned to see two ponies with a horn and wings each. I thought ‘I’ve officially gone crazy’ I stood there looking at them completely dumbstruck. They were looking at me the same way.

I rubbed the back of my neck with my hand. “this is awkward.” The large white one asked, “who are you?” I replied “I am Steel Diamond. Who are you?”
“I am Princess Celestia, Mr.Steel Diamond and might i ask how you got in here?” Celestia asked staring right at me i was too scared to move it felt like she was staring right into my sould

Chapter 1: Adjustments

Ch.1 Adjustments

“Earlier I heard you yelling about someone leaving something in your castle. What was it that you were yelling about?” I asked, since I had only been here for a few hours if not a half say at the most.

“Nothing it is truly nothing” Celestia said nervously

I laughed. “oh really? Then how come I clearly heard you yell about someone leaving something in your castle?”

“That is my business” Celestia replied business

“let me put it this way. What did the object in question look like?” I asked her.

“It is nothing that you should know about” Celestia hissed

“I hate to be rude, especially to royalty, but I can tell by the tone of your voice that you are lying to me. If you would tell me what this said thing looks like, I can help you solve your problem.”

“Oh trust me it is nothing” Luna said giggling like a filly

*facepalms* “I’ll just go see for myself then!” I then ran off in the direction I had come from as fast as my legs would carry me

“Touch my cake and i will send you to the moon” Celestia said with venom in her voice

I ran past the cake and out the front entrance to find none other than my truck. “This is weird” I said.

“Oh that i brought it here but the only thing is it runs on sunlight and moonlight” Luna said

I looked at Luna. “Luna, I hate to be rude, but this truck behind me runs on something called diesel fuel”

“You have no clue how well she is at that stuff just trust her on this one she knows what she is doing” Celestia said “Oh and if you touch my cake ITS ON”

“Celestia, I have no intentions of toc-” I was cut off

“That is all i wanted to hear” Celestia said

“Celestia, Luna, I would like to tell you both how I got here if that is ok with you.” I said

“Oh we both know” Celestia said

“Wait i don't know tell me” Luna said

“Ok.” I turned to Luna. “I was working for a major shipping company, United Parcel Service, or UPS for short. I was heading to a warehouse to collect some fragile materials that had just arrived. On my way to the warehouse, I had to cross some railroad tracks. I saw that a car had broken down on the tracks and I heard the sound that a train was coming. I pushed the car out of the way with my truck and I got hit head on with a fully loaded coal train, which killed me instantly.”

“That had to suck” Luna said

“It did suck. I died!” I said

“Oh but some chocolate milk would cheer you up i am sure” Discord said making it rain chocolate milk on my head

I instantly pulled out my 12 gauge shotgun and pointed at Discord. “Discord, you are really getting on my nerves right now”

“Aww come on it was funny” Discord said

“IT WASN’T FUNNY TO ME!” I yelled, and I blasted him with 6 12 gauge slugs and reloaded quickly.

I grabbed Discord by the throat and said, “You REALLY don’t want to piss me off Discord, and for good reason. I will not hesitate to kill you, capiche?”

“Yes drill sergeant” Discord said

I then got off him and turned to Celestia and Luna. “sorry you had to see that. I have a short temper sometimes.” I said

“I thought it was a little funny” Luna said

“I really didn’t think it was funny at all. Now, my parents have to attend what should be my funeral.” I said to them

“Or do they” Discord said

I proceeded to blast Discord with another slug from my shotgun and I flipped him the finger. “Leave me alone Discord. I really don’t have time for your shit.”

“Ok that does hurt” Discord said turning the bullets inside him into candy

I facepalmed

“Try and ignore him” Celestia deadpanned

“I’ll try. That doesn’t mean I’ll shoot him again if I have to.” I said to Celestia

“Trust me i sent him right into the sun one time not kidding i threw him into the sun and he was swimming in the flames” Luna said

I looked at Luna, shocked. “HE SHOULD HAVE DIED!”

“Remember he is a god so he won't die” Celestia said

“he might not die, but I think my sanity is about to die.” I told them.

“Oh really then we can make chocolate rain together” Discord said

I said nothing and got in my truck. “I need to get out of here.” I said, and started the truck with a roar of the 550 hp engine

“Careful now” Luna said

“I will be!” I said and drove off, hoping to get away from Discord before I lost my sanity completely

“You can’t run from me” Discord said popping out of my radio

I unplugged the radio and put on my quiet comfort sound cancelling headphones.

“Awww no fair” Discord said

I paid no heed to Discord and just drove for miles. How many miles, I couldn’t remember.

“I could sit here forever” Discord said

I still ignored him and concentrated on the road ahead. I noticed a small town while driving and thought to myself: ‘I wonder if there is anyone here that understands my language besides Discord ’
“Hello you their” Discord said poking me “You alright there”

“Trying to concentrate Discord. I can’t look at you and drive at the same time!” I said

“Fine then” Discord said

I drove through the small town and to what looked like an apple orchard. I didn’t notice that it was raining outside and the dirt road had become muddy until the tires of my truck slipped and the truck almost slammed straight through a large red barn. “son of a bitch that was close!” I yelled.

“WHAT IN TARNATION” A orange earth pony mare yelled

I froze. “I am so screwed.” I said as I sat back in the seat

“Byebye” Discord said teleporting

I shook my head as the orange pony walked over to my truck as I got out. “Can I help you, Miss?” I said innocently as she walked over to me

“Ya ya’ll can help by telling me what ya where doin ah swear some ponies” The mare yelled

I thought for about 2 seconds then said, “ As you saw from a distance, my vehicle slipped in the mud and almost ran right through your barn.” I then asked, “Who are you by the way?”

“Tha name is AppleJack” she said

I held out a rain soaked hand. “I’m Steel Diamond. Nice to meet you Applejack”

“Ya nice to meet you” AppleJack said glaring at me

“Can I ask why you are mad at me, Applejack?” I asked nervously

“Ya’ll done hit one of my trees” AppleJack

I looked over and to my surprise, I did hit one of her trees. “I’m sorry Applejack. Its kinda hard to control something this large and not hit anything while its sliding in the mud.”

“Well ya’ll better fix it now” AppleJack said

“I’d be glad to, but would you help me? I would greatly appreciate it.” I said

“No ah won't now fix it” AppleJack said

“Ok. I’ll fix it.” I said. Then I walked to the tree that I hit and pushed as hard as I could. After about 5 minutes I managed to get the tree back in the ground. “There you go AppleJack. Its back in the ground.”

“Now would ya like something to drink?” AppleJack asked

“Please.” I said, obviously tired from pushing that tree back into the ground.

“Ok i got ya some apple juice” AppleJack said

“Thanks AppleJack.” I said as I followed her to her house and took off my mud ridden shoes before walking inside

“Ya’ll did not need to wipe yer deformed hooves” AppleJack said

“AppleJack, I always do that before I go into someone else’s house. Also, they are called feet.” I said

“Well it dont matter here i swear my little sister got covered in tree sap and it was everywhere” Applejack chuckled

I chuckled in return. “I thought it best to let the rain clean off my shoes for me.” I said

“Good ita about time Rainbow got ta work over here” AppleJack exclaimed

“It would seem so.” I said. “On my way here, I noticed the ground was very dry.”

“Ya true so where are ya staying” asked AppleJack

“Nowhere right now.” I said and I saw a young pony walking towards me. “Is this your little sister, AppleJack?” I asked

“Probobly doin somthin crazy to get her cutie mark” AppleJack said with a facehoof

“Well, you gotta admit, some things kids do are crazy.” I said, and I noticed the young pony looking at me.

“Whats that apposta mean” The small yellow earth pony said to me

I looked at her and said, “I have no idea.”

“Thats what ah though i swear someponies you can be jerks” AppleBoom said with a huff

I looked at her from my sitting position and rolled my eyes

“She grows on ya after a while” AppleJack said

“she’ll grow on me eventually.” I said.

“Ya she has a little temper” AppleJack deadpanned

“Trust me AppleJack, this wasn’t as bad as my temper when I was in highschool.” I said, not wanting to remember those four years

“Ya now both of ya wash up fer dinner” AppleJack instructed

“Ok. I’ll be done in about 2 minutes.” I said and stood. I then walked to the kitchen and washed my hands

“Wait where is yer cutie mark?” Asked AppleBloom

“I don’t have one.” I said

“Wait so you don't have a cutie mark either” AppleBloom asked again

“I don’t have one. Where I come from, no one does” I said and finished washing up

“Wait did ya really wash up you know she says that so she can sample the food” AppleBloom said

“Yes I did wash my hands.” I said and dried them off

“I never do” AppleBloom said “You need to meet Lyra”

“I really have no intention of meeting Lyra and I never will.” I said

“Why not” Applebloom asked

“I have my reasons and that’s that.” I said and walked out of the kitchen

“Yer gonna run into her either way” Applebloom said with a smirk

“Whatever.” I said

“Ok come on you two” A red stallion said “The name is Big Macintosh”

I held out a hand. “Nice to meet you. I’m Steel Diamond.”

“Good to know somepony has manners” Big Mac said

I smiled. “Well, my parents taught me my manners and I am forever grateful that they did.” I said

I was walking to the kitchen when I noticed AppleBloom looking at my shotgun.

“What’s this contraption?” She asked

I quickly ran over and picked up my shotgun. “AppleBloom, I really suggest you don’t touch this.”

“Why is it dangerous?”Asked Big Mac

“Yes Big Mac. It is dangerous. This is called a gun.” I said, putting the shotgun across my back

“Maybe ya should put it in the safe over there” Big Mac suggested

“I’ll keep that in mind Big Mac. My gun is empty right now, so you don’t have to worry about it.” I said

“Just make sure ya keep it in a safe place” AppleJack said

“I will AppleJack, I will.” I said, noticing a sense of reassurance go across her face

“Good now soups on everypony” AppleJack said

“Thanks AppleJack.” I said as I sat down at the table

“Woohoo” AppleBloom said

I smiled and tasted the soup. It was very good. “This is delicious AppleJack.” I said

“Well thank ya but Big Mac made it” AppleJack said

“Still, it is very good soup.” I said and I saw her face brighten at my compliment

“Eeyup” Big Mac said

After I had finished my soup and thanked them for the meal, I went back to my truck, which was where I slept mostly.

“Well AppleBloom its time for bed” AppleJack said

“Aww do i gotta” AppleBloom whined

I looked at AppleBloom and said, “getting a good sleep helps a lot.” I yawned since I was tired

“Eeyup now go on ta bed AppleBloom” Big Mac said

“Goodnight Guys. I’ll see you in the morning.” I said then climbed in my truck and locked the door after shutting it. I went to bed 15 minutes later. I couldn’t help but wonder what my friends and family were going through.

“Hi you must be new here” A pink mare said jumping out of my blankets

I jumped and hit my head. “How the hell did you get in here?!” I asked, rubbing my head

“Huh i dunno” She said with a giggle

I sighed in pain then took a few painkillers. I then asked her, “Can I help you?” I was obviously tired and I wanted to get back to sleep quickly

“Oh ya i'm Pinkie Pie i was wanting to throw you a welcome party” Pinkie said

“Well, you got me at a bad time. Could you throw me that party tomorrow?” I asked, as I was way too tired for a party

“That is the point silly” Pinkie said

I looked at her with a deadpan expression on my face. “Pinkie, I’m going to have to take you up on that party tomorrow. I am tired and my legs are asleep.” I said as innocently as possible

“Duhhhh it is tomorrow you silly filly” Pinkie said bouncing

I looked at the time. it was 2:45 in the morning. “Wow. Two hours went by that fast?” I said surprised. “Pinkie, could you wait for another 5 and a half hours and then throw the party?” I asked

“Sure” Pinkie said laying down on my stomach

“Ok. See you then.” I said and fell asleep with Pinkie Pie on my stomach

5.5 HOURS LATER

“SURPRISE” Pinkie shouted
I jumped out of bed and hit the floor of my truck. “Pinkie you almost gave me a heart attack!” I yelled, clutching my heaving chest. I hated it when someone woke me up like that

“Oops sorry” Pinkie said as her mane and tail deflated

“Its fine, Pinkie. Next time, just give me a little nudge and I’ll wake up, ok?” I said hoping to lighten her spirits

“Ok sorry about that” Pinkie said

I smiled and got dressed. “Pinkie, go on ahead. I’ll meet you there.” I said, getting my keys and sitting behind the wheel

“We have been here for a hours silly” Pinkie said

“We have? I just got up!” I said to her. I was really confused at how 10 hours flew by that fast.

“Well duhhhh” Pinkie said

I got out of my truck with my shotgun across my back since I keep it there and the first thing I saw was a mint green unicorn. ‘That must be Lyra’ I said to myself. I paid no attention to Lyra and walked to the table that had the goodies on it. I couldn’t decide whether I should have a slice of cake or a cupcake. I stood there for about 5 minutes looking at both the cake and the cupcakes and I still couldn’t decide what I should have.

“H-hello my name is Lyra and YOU ARE A FREAKING HUMAN I KNEW THEY WERE REAL I KNEW IT” Lyra shouted

I quickly scarfed down a cupcake and ran to my truck. As soon as I got in I started it. The engine roared to life.

“WAIT” Lyra shouted

I saw her running towards my truck and I floored the accelerator. I drove off in a cloud of dust.

“WHAT THE OH COME ON AGAIN” AppleJack Shouted

I leaned out the window. “SORRY APPLEJACK! I’LL FIX IT WHEN I CAN! I PROMISE!” I shouted back as I drove off

Chapter 2: The Life And Times Of A Human

Ch.2 The life and times of a human

I looked in the rearview mirror of my truck and sighed in relief. Lyra wasn’t chasing me, and I was glad about that. I sat back and continued driving. While I was driving, I felt a very tingling sensation run up my spine. I paid no attention to it and kept going. I was driving for so long, I didn’t know night had come already.

The next day, I was driving along when I happened to notice a light blue pegasus sleeping on a cloud right above my truck. I had the funniest idea and snickered. I drove up under said pegasus and blasted the horn of my truck as loud as I could.

I immediately floored the accelerator as she hit the ground. I was laughing my head off so to speak. I was laughing so hard I cried.

“HEY WHATS THE BIG IDEA JERK” The cyan pegasus yelled at me

“I’m sorry! I just had to do it! It was the perfect once in a lifetime opportunity I was NOT going to pass up!” I said while laughing

“Ya what if you broke my wings huh” She yelled getting in my face

“Oh come on! Quit being so dramatic. You didn’t hit the ground that hard.” I said

“Rainbow shut up already ah swear you are just ugg” AppleJack said

“Thank you AppleJack from keeping her from getting in my face.” I said, thanking AppleJack for stopping the blue pegasus from smashing my face in.

“What ever the name is Rainbow Dash i am only the most awesome fly ever” Rainbow said

“My name is Steel Diamond.” I said. “not to be rude, but in my personal opinion, you are just a bit overconfident about yourself Rainbow.”

“Ya well shut up” Rainbow said

“you REALLY don’t want to piss me off Rainbow Dash.” I said. “I guessed your last name, and by the looks of it, I was right.” I told her

“Pfft you could not win in a race” Rainbow said

I got out of my truck after I stopped it. “Ok, if you think I couldn’t win in a race, I will race
you from my truck to AppleJack’s house in the apple orchard. NO WINGS since I don’t have any.” I told her. I wanted a fair race after all.
“Uh Steel ah would not have done that” AppleJack said

“I guess she will cheat and use her wings, am I right?” I asked

“Nope she will win” AppleJack said

“Well, I’ll still race her. I had the best mile time in high school at 6 and a half minutes FLAT!” I said, proud of myself

“HA that is nothing” Rainbow said

I rolled my eyes. “whatever.” I said

“Ready set go” Rainbow said taking off

I took of sprinting and quickly passed Rainbow. Thanks to my longer legs, I was able to keep a small lead

“Grrr i am going to win” Rainbow said running faster

“LIKE HELL YOU ARE!” I said, and ran even faster

“Celestia help me” AppleJack said sitting on her porch

I ran into Sweet Apple Acres about 15 seconds ahead of Rainbow Dash and made it to AJ first

“Damn it” Rainbow said

I stood on AppleJack’s porch, catching my breath. “That was a great race. I haven’t ran like that in years!” I then sat against the wall, my chest heaving.

“Geeze do you smoke” Rainbow asked

“NO I DON’T SMOKE. I am tired after sprinting for 1 and a half miles” I said, slowly catching my breath

“Ok now Steel calm down AppleJack said

“Ok.” I said

“Steel if yer gonna live here ya gotta do somthin” Big Mac said

“I understand that” I said to him

“Nope not that” Big Mac stated

I stood after I caught my breath. “I have something on my chest I need to tell Celestia about.” I then walked back to my truck and got in it. I waved to the Apples and Rainbow then headed for the castle on the mountainside.

“Now wait befor ya leave we still need ta talk” Big Mac said

“What about Big Mac?” I asked before I started my truck

“Ah know it aint my business but if yer gonna live here ya need anger management” Big Mac stated

“I will Big Mac. Don’t worry.” I said to him. “Well, I best be off.” I waved

“Ok now have a nice trip” Big Mac said waving me off

“I will!” I said back and headed for the castle that was on the side of a large mountain. I couldn’t stop thinking about what the hell happened when I got ran over by that train. The thought sent chills up and down my spine.

“Hello friend” Discord said

I didn’t bother replying since I was deep in thought while looking on the road. I was starting to sweat a bit. “What do you want Discord? Can’t you see I am driving?”

“I just wanted to see my new friend that and i am trying to get away from Luna” Discord deadpanned

“Tough shit Discord. I happen to be headed for the castle right now.” I looked around, but I saw no roadways that lead up the mountain. “What’s the quickest way to the castle? I can’t seem to find a road that leads up the mountain.”

“Hmm well i guess as you said tough shit” Discord said

I rolled my eyes and decided to run the risk of dying again by following the railroad tracks up the mountain.

“Hmm you know i could do this” Discord said snapping his fingers

“Do what?” I said while driving

“Stop driving we are here” Discord said

I stopped driving and got off the railroad tracks. “where’s the castle? I will drive there since I found my truck there.”

“We are at the castle” Discord stated “But please keep Luna away from me”

“Whatever happens, HAPPENS.” I said and got out of my truck

“Hmm you alright” Discord asked

“I am tired and I have something I need to tell Luna and Celestia about” I said walking into the castle. I kept walking until I reached the throne room where Celestia was

“Hmm what it is” Asked Discord

“Wait Discord. I’d prefer to tell Celestia and Luna first” I said, pushing open the large solid gold doors to the throne room. “damn these doors are HEAVY!” I said after FINALLY pushing them open

“Welcome Steel how are you” Celestia said

“I’m good. How are you?” I said

“I am well” Celestia said

“I have to ask you this Celestia. Did I get teleported here right as the train hit me, or did I actually DIE?” I asked, as I wanted to have my mind at peace.

“Well you got teleported” Celestia said

“Ok. Thank you for letting me know. For a minute there, I thought I actually died.” I said in relief. I then noticed a young colt in the room. “Can I ask who that is Princess?” I asked, pointing to the colt

“Oh this is BlueBlood i guess he fell asleep” Celestia said with a slight giggle

“Cool. So, how old is he?” I asked. “To me he looks like he is about 9 or 10 years old”

“You were very close he is 8 his parents abandoned him at birth so i took him in” Celestia said

“Who would abandon their kid? That’s just cruel!” I said

“Well they did and they did not look back” Celestia said with a little anger

“I hate to say this in front of a young colt, but his former parents in my opinion should die.” I said with a bit of anger myself

“Well good thing he is asleep” Celestia said covering the colt up with her wing

“Well, I’ll see you in the morning Celestia. I’m tired and need rest.” I said, yawning

“I will see you too Steel but there is one thing me you and Luna are going to talk about when you wake up” Celestia said

“Ok. Thanks for letting me know!” I said and walked out of the room

I was about to wake up when I heard the door to my truck open then close. At first I thought it was nothing, then I heard someone say my name. I rolled over and paid no attention to it.

“Steel get out here now” Luna shouted

“Ok ok! I’m up i’m up!” I said and got outside after I got dressed. “morning Luna.” I said sleepily

“Good morning now come here” Luna said

“Ok. What is it?” I asked

“Look see this the solar power transmission is busted” Luna said

“I didn’t do that. Honest.” I said truthfully

“Ok but how fast were you going” Luna asked

“I was going about 75” I said.

“I see you still have a diesel engine i am gonna fix that” Luna stated

“Ok, but I’ll miss the familiar roar the engine gives off after it starts” I said

“It will still do that” Luna said

“Ok. That’s good to know. Do what you have to do.” I walked in the castle and let Luna do her work

“Good morning Steel” Celestia said walking by me

“Morning Celestia. How are ya” I said

“I am well i was about to go and get some breakfast after that remember what i said” Celestia stated in a no nonsense manner

“I will. Mind if I join you for breakfast, Celestia?” I asked

“I would be honored” Celestia said

“Cool.” I walked with Celestia to the dining hall. “Why did BlueBlood’s parent’s abandon him? He’s only a kid.” I said, still surprised by that fact

“I do not know why” Celestia said

“Well, either way, he must be glad to have you looking after him.” I said.

“Yes he is he is a sweet little colt” Celestia smiled

We arrived at the dining hall. “So Celestia, what is it like being a princess? I’m just asking out of curiosity.”

“Not easy you have to sit and listen to the nobles all day” Celestia deadpanned

“That must be BORING” I said

“Yes it is but one perk about being a princess you can reschedule anything” Celestia said with a giggle

“Awesome.” I said, and I saw BlueBlood again. I waved to him.and he waved back

“Well that was a good breakfast” Celestia said

“That it was” I said in agreement. “I always need a nap after I eat well. I’ll see ya in an hour or two.” I said then got up

“I can’t believe Discord cooked it” Celestia said

“I can’t either.” I said, then waved as I walked out of the dining hall and to my truck

“Steel come to my chambers Luna is already there waiting” Celestia stated
“Ok.” I said then followed Celestia to her room

“Good now me and Luna have found a way to take you back but there is also something else” Celestia said

“What is it?” I asked

“Well you can stay here and become a pony of the 3 races or you can go back” Celestia said

“Could I stay here as a human? I don’t mind if I am different” I said.

“Yes we know but there is something different about you you could die”Luna said

“how could I die?” I asked. Now I was worried

“Well the magic inside your body is ripping you apart now do you want to stay or go” Celestia asked

“I’ll stay. I hated my life on Earth. I was getting nowhere.” I said

“Good now what race do you want to be” Celestia asked

I pondered the decision for a minute then asked, “Could I still have my human shape as a pony?”

“If you mean walking on your hind legs then yes” Celestia said

“Cool. I guess I would want to be an anthro Unicorn.” I said.

“Well good” Luna said as horn began to glow

I rubbed my head and sat up. “How long was I out?” I asked

“A few days” Discord said dressed in a nurse outfit

I looked away. That was the last thing I wanted on my mind. I looked in a mirror. I was an anthro unicorn. “I have to admit, this is pretty damn cool.” I said.

“Good morning” Celestia said “Nice outfit Discord” Celestia giggled

“Now there is one thing” Luna said

I looked at Luna. “What is it?” I asked.

“try walking on all fours just for two months so your body can adjust” Luna said

“How would I walk on all fours? My legs are longer than my arms!” I said and showed them

“Like me and Tia do” Luna said trotting

I walked towards Luna and Celestia like nothing had changed for me. “I think I’ll be able to adjust to this just fine.” I put up my hands in a not to be rude gesture. “Not to be rude, but I think this will be better for me.” I said.

“I just need to get used to having hooves where my feet used to be.” I said, chuckling a bit. I then walked back to my truck, got in it, locked the door and just slept. For how long, I can’t remember.

I slept for so long, I hadn’t noticed that someone had gotten into my truck and slept next to me. I had a hunch it was Luna. I felt hooves wrap around mand a smooth voice say, “Hi.” I knew that voice tone. It was Luna.

“I have something I want to tell you, Steel.” She said

“What is it, Luna?” I asked sleepily

“Do you know how your mother is” Luna asked

“Besides my human mother, I don’t know who my mom is.” I said

“No she was not your mother” Luna said

“Then who IS my mother?” I asked, fully awake now

“Oh now you want to know” Luna said

“Yeah I want to know. I’ve been asking myself that VERY question all my life and it hasn’t been answered.” I said bluntly

“Oh well what if i help you find her” Luna said

“Ok lets get started!” I said
“Found her” Luna said

I was surprised I had to hit myself across the face to be sure I wasn’t dreaming. “You are my mother?” I said

“Bingo long story short when i was Nightmare Moon i kinda sent you to earth” Luna deadpanned

“Wow. I never knew that.” I said, now knowing that Luna was my mother.

“Yup maybe if you get lucky you will grow wings one day” Luna said

“Maybe. It could happen now, or in a few days.” I said.

“Nopony knows when its going to happen but i do know one thing” Luna said with a dumb grin

“What is that?” I asked

“You have your eye on a mare”

“Oh really?” I said

“Yes i know you do don’t doubt me AppleJack i think her name is” Luna stated

“Yeah her name is AppleJack. The reason why I liker her is because she is honest about everything.” I said

“Was she honest about you needing anger management”

“Yes.” I said. “I find sleep is my anger management tool. It ALWAYS works.” I said

“Well you can’t sleep all the time” Luna said

“That’s true, I can-” I was cut off by a wave of pain and fainted on my bed

“Wow my son can be a wuss” Luna said

I woke up about 4 to 5 hours later. “What the hell happened?” I asked, still a bit dazed

“Well you passed out for one and two you have your wings growing” Celestia stated

I looked at my back and there, to my surprise, two wings were growing out of my back. “That is pretty freaky yet amazing at the same time.” I said. I also noticed my skin was a very dark shade of cobalt blue

“I cant tell but dont use them for a while” Luna said

“Ok mom. I won’t” I said

“He is warming up to you that fast Luna” Celestia said

I got up and hugged Luna. “Well, she is my mother after all” I said. “Not to mention, she helped me answer the one question I asked myself for 34 years.”

“I see”

“Yeah.”

“Well at least your happy” Celestia exclaimed

“Yeah.” I said. After a few minutes of a awkward silence there was a knock on the door

“Who could that be?” I asked.

“I don’t know” Luna said

I shrugged and opened the door to my truck.To see a small white colt standing there

“Hey Celestia, BlueBlood is here” I said, turning to her

“Well let him in if you choose” Celestia said

I let the young BlueBlood into my truck after helping him up

“Thank” He whispered

“No problem” I said. I noticed it was getting a bit cramped in the cab. I found the special latch and expanded the cab so all 4 of us would fit

“Ok that is fun” Luna said

I smiled. “Well, in my years driving big rig trucks, I found a way to expand this sleeper cab so many people could fit at one time.” I said with a smile

“Well i think you have a job now” Celestia said

“Yeah? What is it Celestia?” I asked

“Well we always need more ponies to drive 18 wheeler’s”

“Well, so far I think this is the only 18 wheeler in Equestria right now” I said

“No there are a couple more” Luna said

“Where?” I asked.

“They are flying mainly they are built for moving stuff that is why nopony uses them much”

“Well, if they need a teacher, I could teach them to properly drive an 18 wheeler semi truck.” I said. “I have 12 years of experience behind the wheel of one of these”

“Well no i have seen then moving things more than once and trust me they know what they are doing it has an enchantment on it so it can fly” BlueBlood squeaked out

“Ok. Thanks for the tip.” I said to BlueBlood

“Don’t worry about it”

I was wondering what I should do now that I knew Luna was my mom. I sat on my bed and thought about it. I sat there next to Luna for a while. I don’t know how long I sat there.

“You ok Steel?” asked Luna

“I’m fine Mom. I’m just thinking about something.” I said

“Please don’t let BlueBloods parents get to you they are wanted criminals” Luna said

“I won’t let them get to me. That is, if they don’t become roadkill first.” I said.

“Don't do anything stupid please”

“I won’t. For now, I think we should go get some cupcakes from Pinkie. I’m starved.” I said

“Hmm you can if you want i am not hungry”

“anyone else want cupcakes?” I asked I then realized I had no money except for the worthless paper money in my wallet

“Don’t worry Steel , Pinkie gives cupcakes out for free” Luna said
“Oh. That’s a relief. I am so used to buying things and I rarely got anything for free on Earth.” I said

“Well your not there anymore” Luna stated

“True, when I was living there I had to always buy the stuff I wanted” I said

“Well then that makes sense”

“ If its not too much trouble could i come “ BlueBlood whispered so low only a mouse could hear him

“Could he come?” I asked Celestia

“If you are fine with it” Luna said

“I’m fine with it. He can come.” I said

“Ok then have fun you two but be careful”

“Ok we will.” I turned to BlueBlood. “Ready to get some cupcakes from Pinkie?”

“Yes i guess so”

“Ok. Lets go get some cupcakes!” I buckled BlueBlood into the passenger seat and got behind the wheel. I started the truck with the all familiar roar of the engine and drove off to where Pinkie worked.

Chapter 3: Young BlueBlood And I

Ch. 3 Young BlueBlood and I

After we had gotten some cupcakes from Pinkie, BlueBlood and I sat in my truck eating them. I had just finished my last cupcake and was about to start the truck when I noticed BlueBlood looking at a ring on my finger.

“What you looking at BlueBlood?” I asked him and he pointed to my ring.

“Oh just that ring” Blueblood said

“Oh. This is my high school class ring. Got it in my last year there before I graduated.” I said, remembering the last day I was at school. “I take it you are wondering how much this ring cost?” I asked as I was about to start my truck

“Oh no i just thought it was nice” BlueBlood said

“Ok. I’m glad you think its nice. I like it too.” I said and started the truck with a roar of the engine

“That never gets old” BlueBlood stated

“It never does!” I said chuckling and drove off towards the castle.

“So BlueBlood, what’s it like living with Celestia?” I asked him while driving

“Its fun” BlueBlood said

“That’s good to hear” I said. Just then I happened to notice two very noble looking ponies. ‘ Those must be his parents ’ I thought. “BlueBlood, I may regret asking this, but are those your parents?” I asked

“I would not know i have never met my parents” BlueBlood said not even being affected

I stopped in front of the two ponies and leaned out the window. “START RUNNING!” I said and blasted the horn

“What are you doing?” Asked BlueBlood

“I’m going to give them a good scare” I said chuckling

“Well thats not nice” Blueblood said

“Come on, you have to admit they deserve it for abandoning you.” I said, hoping not to make him cry
“I dont even know if they are my parents they are just some nobles” BlueBlood said

I made a check and it confirmed it. “They are your parents.” I said, and pointed to the screen the results were displayed on.

“Well i dont care what you do with them”

“Ok.” I said and accelerated until I was just behind his parents. I was laughing at their scared faces. I stopped chasing them about 15 minutes later and just sat there in the drivers seat laughing like a jackass.

“That was not the nicest thing but funny” BlueBlood said laughing

I couldn’t reply I was laughing so hard. I had a hunch that Luna heard but I didn’t care. I was too busy laughing. I was laughing so hard my sides hurt.

“Ok ok lets not tell Auntie Celestia about this”

I nodded in agreement after I finally managed to stop laughing. “Yeah. Lets not tell her.” I said

“Good then now what?” BlueBlood asked

“Well, I’ll take you back to the castle.” I said and drove to the castle.

“Ok sounds good”

We arrived at the castle just as night fell. “Ok, BlueBlood, we’re here.” I said and stopped my truck and turned it off. I was clearly tired.

“Well thank you for the day it was different” BlueBlood said walking back inside

“No problem BlueBlood.” I said, then got into bed. I was out like a light when someone came into my truck and got next to me.

I was so tired, I slept through the next day. What I didn’t know was someone had done something to my truck. I had a hunch it was either Luna or Pinkie. When I got up the day after, I saw that someone had painted my truck dark cobalt blue

“Good morning” Discord said with a yawn

I looked at him. “I’m not going to even bother.” I said, got dressed, and got out of my truck. “Damn its cold this morning.” I said, shivering slightly.

“Yes it is” Discord said making a scarf appear on my neck

“Thanks.” I said then went inside the castle.

I was just walking along when I suddenly felt something heavy on my back. I turn my head to see that my wings were now fully grown. I was amazed at how quickly they grew.

“Ya dont worry about it” Discord said

“Uh, ok.” I said and kept walking.

“I wonder” Discord thought

I just kept walking until I saw BlueBlood and Celestia. “Hey Celestia, Hey BlueBlood. I want to show you this.” I turned and showed them that my wings were fully grown.

“Wow that is great” Celestia stated

“Thanks!” I said, smiling.

“Wow that is just wow” BlueBlood said

I smiled again and thanked him for the compliment. “I need to show Luna this.” I said

“I would not she is busy” Celestia said stopping me

“Ok. I’ll show her later then.” I said.

“That would be smart unless” Celestia said shuddering

“unless?” I asked

“Well you could be her test subject in her lab”

“I don’t know if that is good or bad.” I said, and shivers ran up and down my spine

“It can be bad sometimes” Celestia deadpanned

“I should probably leave the castle, now right?” I asked. “I might need to check something on my truck, and that something might just be repairing the engine. I haven’t done that in a while and the engine needs it. Bad.” I said, turning towards the entrance

“No just dont go in her lab”

“Ok. I won’t.” I said and walked outside to my cobalt blue truck

“Aww you're leaving now” Discord said

I got my tools from the cab of my truck. “No Discord, I’m just doing routine maintenance.” I said and proceeded to reveal the block of pipes and hoses that was the engine

“Oh make it run on chocolate milk” Discord said

I was already starting to check the engine for anything that was broken or needed to be replaced.
I found something that was busted and proceeded to take it out. “Damn spark plugs again. I swear these things hardly last.” I said, throwing away the broken plugs and replacing them.

“No wait i could have turned those into cany” Discord said with a dumb looking pout

I rolled my eyes and continued working. “Wow, lots of busted crap in here. And to think that this truck was fresh off the production line!” I said in disgust.

“Hard to believe its not butter”

I couldn’t help but chuckle at that comment. I kept working for at least 5 hours straight.

“I now wish it to rain butter” Discord said as butter began to rain

“Crap, now I have to clean butter out of the engine. This will take forever!” I said, facepalming

“No it wont because there's not butter in it”

“Really? I thought there was.” I said, replacing some more busted parts of the engine. I pulled out another bbusted spark plug and replaced it

“Wow you know what your doing now you have ten second to live eat a pine cone or die” Discord said i knew he was just trolling

I kept working until my gut nagged at me for food. I got up and my back was stiff after being bent over for 7 hours straight

“Is somepony hungry hmmmm”Discord asked

“Yeah, and I know the perfect thing to settle my stomach.” I said, reaching into the cab of my truck for something. As I pulled out my lunch, I noticed Luna walking up to me. “Hey Mom. How’s your day so far?” I asked

“Nnnnggggg been awake for weeks” Luna said

“Wow. If you want to, you can sleep in my truck.” I said as I began eating before finishing maintenance on the engine. “I’m just about to finish working on the engine of my truck then I need a nap. I’ve been working for 7 hours straight.” I said

“No i'm fine just this though” Luna said hitting me with a taser

“Can I ask what that was for?” I asked

“Did it hurt?” Asked Luna

“Not really.” I said

“If you want to mom, you can watch and see how I repair a truck engine.” I said, getting up. At that moment, I saw BlueBlood coming outside with Celestia behind him.

“Hello Diamond” celestia said

“Hey Celestia. How are ya?” I asked, about to get back to the engine of my truck

“I am well and you”

“I’m doing good. I’m just about to finish fixing the engine on my truck.” I said as I bent over the engine again, looking for anything else broken

“Oh and this” Discord said dumping water on me

“That’s better. Now I can work without sweat dripping into my eyes.”

“And it is magic water” Discord said “Trust me friend”

I rolled my eyes and kept working.

“I would back away now” Discord said

“And why should I?” I asked

“Do you want your face blow off”

I was wearing a bullet proof face mask while I was working.

“Good thing I was wearing my bullet and explosion proof mask!” I said

“And now the truck is fixed” Discord said

I looked at it. “Wow. I was almost finished fixing it the way my grandpa would have done, but that works.” I said

“Your grandpa sounds like a hard worker” Discord said

“That he was, Discord. That he was.” I said. At that moment, memories hit me like a freight train
I opened the door to my truck. “I need some time alone, if that’s not too much to ask” I said

“Take all the time you need” Luna said

I closed the door, got in my bed and just cried my eyes out. I then got behind the wheel, started my truck, and drove out of Canterlot as fast as my truck would allow, tears streaming down my face.

I stopped in the middle of that small town that was close to Canterlot. I just sat in my truck looking at a pic of my grandpa. I saw someone near the door but I paid no attention to who it was.

“Helloooo can i come in” Discord asked

“Discord, can I be left alone?” I asked through tears

“Sorry cant do that” Discord said teleporting in wearing a nurses outfit

I was mad and sad at the same time. I pointed my 12 gauge at Discord. “I WANT TO BE LEFT ALONE!” I said

“I SAID NO” Discord yelled back pointing a giant candy cane at me

I kicked his ass out of my truck. “STAY OUT OF MY TRUCK AND MY LIFE!” I said, and floored the accelerator

“Fine what ever you want Discord said turning himself to stone.....i think it will last for a week

I drove to that town. Ponyville or whatever the hell it was called. I stopped behind a large tree and killed the truck engine with a turn of the key. I just sat there, looking at the picture of my grandpa, crying the whole time. I couldn’t help but wonder who could hear me crying, but I didn’t care.

“Hello are you ok”

I looked around. I couldn't tell where the voice was coming from.”who’s there?” I asked

“My name is Twilight Sparkle personal student of Princess Celestia”

“Nice to meet ya. I’m Steel Diamond son of Luna” I said

“Yes i met you once sorry about Lyra” Twilight said

“I knew Lyra wouldn’t keep her mouth shut.” I said

“Ya but at least she got her proof” Twilight said

“True. Now she has to shut up about humans.” I said in relief

“No she wont trust me she wont” Twilight deadpanned

“Anyway, I take it you heard me crying?” I asked

“Yes i did”

“Well, I think you don’t know exactly WHY I was crying.” I said

“No i do not and please do not yell at me”Twilight said looking in my eye

I showed her the pic of my grandpa. “I was crying because I miss him.”

“Well he is in a better place” Twilight said

“Yeah he is.” I replied, and put the picture away

“Oh and for that matter” Twilight got into my face “Never take that tone with me or i will buck you up”

I grabbed my shotgun. “You sure about that?” I said

“I can use magic and well lets leave it here dont mess with somepony whos talent is magic”

“Where I came from, people knew not to mess with me. Want to know why Twilight?” I asked, putting my shotty away
“Why is that”

“People knew that if they presses a certain button of mine, they ended up DEAD.” I said.

“HUMANS THEY ARE REAL” Lyra shouted i could hear her and she was all the way on the other side of town

I yelled in surprise. “WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT?”

Chapter 4: Meeting Rarity & Fluttershy

Ch. 4 Meeting Rarity and Fluttershy

After my little incident with twilight and after dropping an F-bomb, I was walking through Ponyville just minding my own business when I saw a white pony looking at me funny. I could tell that she was a unicorn. I looked at the unicorn and said “Why are you looking at me like that?”

“Uhh well that word wow” The unicorn said

I shrugged and kept walking. I had a sneaking suspicion that the white unicorn was following me. I turned around and asked the white unicorn why she was following me. “Can I ask why you are following me?”

“That outfit darling my name is Rarity please let me make you something better i mean gah” Rarity stated

“Nice to meet ya Rarity. I’m Steel.” I said. “This outfit? I’ve been wearing it for years. I could use a new one.” I started to follow her to where she worked/lived

When we arrived to Rarity's house i walked in with her seeing clothing and a lot of it

“This is my workplace and house” Rarity said

“I like it.” I said

“Thank you”

“You’re welcome.” I said as I saw Rarity getting out a measuring tape with her magic

“Now hold still”

I held still while she took my measurements for my new clothes

“Wow you look like you put on a few pounds since Pinkie Pie’s party”

“Well, in my opinion, it was totally worth it. I had a sweet tooth that day and it needed to be satisfied.” I said

“I can tell please diet or exercise for your self”

“I will. You can count on that.” I said as she finished taking my measurements

“Now lets see i think just a nice new shirt and some pants will work”
“Thanks Rarity.” I said then sat on the couch which was just a bit small for me

I was waiting for Rarity to finish my new clothes and just looked around. Everywhere I looked I saw miles and miles of fabric

“Hi” a very squeaky voice said

I looked down to see a young unicorn. “Hi.”

“Hi im Sweetie Belle what's your name?”

“I’m Steel Diamond. Weird name, I know.” I said

“Not really but there is one thing” The filly then got in my face “Don’t you dare try and take Rarity away from me she is my sister and nopony can have her”

“I really didn’t have any intentions on doing that.” I said

“It would be smart” Sweetie Belle said

“That’s true.” I said in agreement after a few seconds a blue unicorn colt came in

“Hey Sweetie Belle i needed to oh good bye~” He said walking out well running like hell more or less

“Um, who was THAT?” I asked

“Oh that is just Nova he is a cool unicorn colt”

“Cool.” I said in agreement again

“Oh Steel i am done with your clothing” Rarity said

“Thanks Rarity!” I said ,taking them. “Um, how much?” I asked

“They are free”

“Really? Thanks Rarity.” I said “you have somewhere that I can change into my new clothes?” I asked
“There is a dressing room over their” Rarity said pointing to it

“Thanks.” I said then went into the dressing room

I thanked Rarity and walked out of her house/workplace.

I was walking through town when I noticed a yellow pegasus pony hiding.

“Hello there” I said to the yellow pony who was hiding. “Why are you hiding? I won’t hurt ya.” I said

“Oh umm im sorry but umm [s=6] I heard there was a new pony in town “she said

“That new pony would happen to be me.” I said, and reached out a hand so she could see that I meant no harm. “Let me help you get out from under there.” I said

“ O-ok my name is [s=6] Fluttershy “

“I’m Steel. Nice to meet ya Fluttershy” I said helping her out from her hiding place.

“Oh umm its nice to meet you if thats ok” Fluttershy said

I smiled. “So, where do you live?” I asked

“Oh umm i live at the edge of the everfree”

“The everfree? You mean that dark forest over there?” I asked and pointed in the direction of the forest

“Well yes I have a cottage over their”

“Ok, Fluttershy.” I smiled and walked with her

“So umm i heard you are staying with AppleJack” Fluttershy squeaked out

“Well Fluttershy, that’s partially true.” I said as we got to her cottage on the edge of the everfree forest

“Oh well do you not like staying with her?”

“I like staying with her, no doubt about that. Its just I prefer to be on the move.” I said “I might actually settle down with my mother, Luna at the castle in Canterlot.” I said.

“Oh yo are Luna’s son” Fluttershy said

“I am, and proud of it.” I said as we walked inside.

“Well i think she is a bit scary im sorry” Fluttershys said

“Its fine Fluttershy. In fact, I knew a few scary people on Earth. One of those people happened to be my grandfather.” I said

“Oh my goodness that is terrible”

“Actually, I found it to be one of his best traits. He was kind and scary at the same time.” I said, remembering him.

“Well Mr.Steel it was nice meeting you but i must get my bunny fed he can get a little grumpy at times” fluttershy said

“It was nice meeting you too Fluttershy.” I said and left

“STEEL WHY IN TARNATION WHY WENRT YA AT WORK TADAY IF YER GONNA LIVE AT THA FARM YER GONNA WORK” AppleJack yelled at me

“Sorry Applejack! I was getting new clothes from Rarity, then I met Fluttershy and chatted with her.” I said in defense

“Well shoot if ya where wantin to go and mingle yall should have said somethin Big Mac was worried bout ya he thinks of ya as a little brother” AppleJack said

“I’ll apologize to him when we get back to the farm.” I said, getting in my truck. “want a lift?” I asked

“Sure i would love one in that fancy shmancy contraption” AppleJack stated

I smiled. “well, get in!” I said with a smile as she climbed in

“Shucks this is big”

“Well, where I came from, they didn’t call it a big rig for nothing!” I said as I started the truck with that familiar roar of the now 600 horsepower engine

When we arrived and got out of the truck the whole ride though i wanted to kill myself with AppleJack’s nagging what wrong have i done to deserve that But when we got inside i felt a sharp pain in my backside

“Hi Big Mac. Sorry about making you worry.” I said

“What is wrong with ya all you had to do was tell AppleBloom what you where doin i swear you are like a damn foal” Big Mac snapped

I was used to this kind of accusation so I knew how to respond. “Big Mac, first I went to get new clothes from Rarity, then I met Fluttershy and had a chat with her. I have to say, Fluttershy is the nicest pony I have ever met. No Offence Applejack.” I said

“None taken sugar cube”

I smiled and walked inside with them

Chapter 5: A New Family Member

Ch. 5 a new family member

I told AppleJack I was going to take some time off for my own personal reasons. I told her I would be back in about 6 days to a week. “I’m going to go see BlueBlood and see how he’s doing.” I said.

After leaving Sweet Apple Acres, I drove to Canterlot. I got there as the sun was setting, and Celestia was about to head to bed, so I decided to wait until tomorrow morning to talk to her.

After a little bit there was a knock on my door

I opened the door

“How ya holdin up” Asked Big Mac

“I’m doing good Big Mac.” I said and got out of my truck

“Well thats good ta hear”

“That it is.” I said then went into the castle for breakfast. As I was walking I saw Celestia walking in the same direction I was, and I saw BlueBlood sleeping on her back. “Morning Celestia.” I whispered in her ear

“Good morning to you Steel” Celestia said

“BlueBlood must be tired after what he did last night.” I said and pointed to her back where Blueblood was resting

“Ya poor little guy is all tuckered out”

“Well, he could use a good rest. Also, he looks to me like he needs a father figure.” I said

“Yes he does” Celestia said

“Well, if its not too much, I could be his father figure. I have experience working with kids of all ages.” I said

“I bet we have watched you and Luna and I know you are”

I blushed. I really didn’t know I was actually being watched during my life on Earth. “Well, as you saw, the first few years I was learning, but I got the hang of it.” I said. “Celestia, not only will I watch over him like you do, but I feel ready to adopt him.”

“I think that would be great he seems to have taken a liking to you” Celestia said

“Well, then lets make it official.” I Pulled out a pen.

“Oh this is going to be fun watching you do all of the paper work” Celestia said handing me twenty two stacks of papers

“This is a lot of paper to sign, but I’ll get it done.” I said

“Well i hope you have fun with that” Celestia stated

about 12 hours later I signed the last line. “There. Finished.” I said after dropping my 25th empty pen

“Ah can’t believe it ya got all of those done by lunchtime” Big Mac said

I couldn’t help but chuckle. “Big Mac, I have signed well OVER 22,000 sheets of paper on earth. So, it was a walk in the park. All I had to was repeat my signature 22,000 times over.”

“Ahem proud of ya” Big Mac said ruffling my hair like i was some kind of kid

“Thanks Big Mac.” I said, then got up. I found Celestia walking to the dining hall for lunch and I joined her. “I finished the paperwork in record time. 12 hours and 25 pens.” I said, proud of my accomplishment.

“Well that is good but you are going to have to wait at least six weeks now” Celestia said

“Well, I didn’t just sign 22,000 sheets for nothing now did I?” I said, expecting her answer

Six weeks passed rather quickly. I was working helping Applejack harvest apples when Celestia came by.

“Hello Steel”

“Hi Celestia!” I said, kicking another tree as hard as I could with my hoof, making the apples fall into the basket at the base. “How are you?”

“I am well and you?” She asked

“I’m doing good.” I said, taking one of the apples for myself and taking a big bite out of it “So, how did everything go with the 22,000 papers I signed?” I asked
“I don’t know ask your son”

I saw him looking at me with a sheepishly huge smile on his face. “Come here son!” I said and knelt down so I could give him a hug

“thank you this is going to be so cool” BlueBlood said

I hugged him. “Yes it will. yes it will.” I said

“So wait where do we live?”

I looked at Celestia. “Could we live at the castle?” I asked

“I was thinking both of you could live in PonyVille” Celestia said

“Sounds good to me. What do you think son?” I asked Blueblood

“Yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes i love it”

“Ok then!” I said. “We’ll live in Ponyville. Now I just need to get sufficient funds to buy a house.” I said. I was tired of living in my truck

“I think I can help with housing” Celestia said

“How so, Princess?” I asked, curious as to how she would do it

“I am a princess am i not?” Asked Celestia

“That’s true. You are a princess.” I said

“Then do not doubt me” Celestia said levitating a piece of paper to me

“I was just curious is all, Princess.” I said

“Well that parchment has your new address on it”

I took it. “Thanks Celestia.” I said.

“Well when can we go huh when huh huh huh huh huh huh huh” BlueBlood asked bouncing around like crazy

“Lets go now. First I’ll tell AJ.” I said walking to AppleJack.

“It’s alright sugarcube go ahead” AppleJack said

“Thanks AppleJack.” I said then ran back to BlueBlood.

“Well just be sure ta come and visit yer like family ta us now” Big Mac said

“I will Big Mac. Don’t you worry about that.” I said, and got in my truck with BlueBlood.

“Wow this is HUGE”

“Well, on Earth they didn’t call this a big rig for nothing!” I said and started it.

“I can tell”

We arrived at our new house at around 7:30 pm, and we were getting tired. “Come on son, lets get inside.” I said, unbuckling him from the passenger seat. We went inside and I turned on the lights. “What do you think of our new house Son?” I asked as I closed the front door.

“This is HUGE” BlueBlood shouted “Even bigger than your car thingy

“Well, it might be bigger, but its nice to settle down in one place.” I said, picking him up. “I’m glad I decided to fill out that paperwork.” I said

“Ya same here living at the castle is BORING i mean there's nothing to do”

“Well, lets make the best of what we have and have a good time together!” I said

“Wait is that a tire swing out their?” Asked Blueblood

“I think it is.” I said and walked out to it. “It is a tire swing” I said and put him on it

“Wow a tire swing that is cool”

I smiled and gave him a push on the swing

“Woah what are you doing now?” BlueBlood asked

“Giving you a push.” I said

“I am not so sure about this” BlueBlood stated

“I’m not pushing hard. Just hold the rope in the center with your hooves and you’ll be fine.” I said

“I am i don’t plan on falling anytime soon”

I smiled and played with him until it was too dark for us to see outside. “Come on son, let's go in.” I said

We were inside and I went to bed with BlueBlood about 5 minutes later.

Chapter 6: I Meet Cheerilee

Ch. 6 I meet Ms. Cheerilee

A few weeks had passed and I had to get BlueBlood enrolled in school sooner or later. I was sitting in my truck with BlueBlood. “Ok BlueBlood, I have to get you enrolled in school.” I said, starting the truck

“Aww do I have to go I mean I was homeschooled back at the castle”

“Just for a short period of time. About 6 months to a year. Just to be safe.” I said

“That is still a long time”

“It will be worth it.” I said, and started driving to the school house.

“Fine but i wont like it” Blueblood said

We got to the school house just as a class was heading out for recess. “Ok, lets go talk to the teacher and see if we can get you in her morning class.” I said

“Hmm oh hello there my name is Cheerilee”

“I’m Steel Diamond. Nice to meet you Ms. Cheerilee.” I said

“And how might I help you Steel Diamond?” Asked Cheerilee

“I was wondering if I could enroll my son in your morning class.” I said

“Yes you may all foals are welcome”

“Thanks Cheerilee.” I said then turned to BlueBlood. “Looks like you’re enrolled.”

“Oh fun fun day” He grumbled

I rolled my eyes. “Would it be ok if I introduced him after your class comes in from recess?”

“I think it would be more then fine” Cheerilee said

“Alright then.” I said, and waited for her class to come inside from recess. After they came inside, I got ready to introduce BlueBlood to the class, after Cheerilee introduced me first.

As I was about to leave after introducing BlueBlood to the class, I heard Ms. Cheerilee snickering a bit. And i saw BlueBlood being lazy with his head on his desk. I walked outside and just sat under a tree. What I didn’t notice was how quickly class ended and BlueBlood was at my feet. “So, what was your first day like?” I asked as I stood up

“Huh good” BlueBlood said

“That’s good to hear.” I said as we got in the truck and headed home

A few months had passed and BlueBlood was doing well in school. One saturday morning though, I heard a knock at the door. “I wonder who that could be.” I said and opened the door to see Luna there. “Morning mom.” I said

I asked, “How have you been these past few months, Mom?” I asked

“I have been well and you?”

“Same here. BlueBlood is doing well in school.” I said

“He is a smart colt i guessed he would do well in it” Luna said

“I had a hunch he would do well also. Looks like we were right.” I said “So, anything I can do for you?”

“I was just coming for a visit may i come in?” Luna asked

“Of course!” I said and let her in

“Thank you and where is the young colt” Luna asked walking in

I whispered in her ear “He’s sleeping in.”

“Well let him sleep i brought some tea” Luna said levitating tea

“Thanks” I said and started to make the tea with some hot water

“And have you been meeting ponies? any that you like?”

“I’ve been meeting ponies. One I happen to like is Ms. Cheerilee.” I said as the water was warming

“Oh really now and tell me about her” Luna said with a trolluna face
I told her about the ponies I met and why I liked Cheerilee. As I finished explaining, the water was hot and ready for tea

“Well all of that sound very interesting i might say....how long is that colt going to sleep?” giggled Luna

“He stayed up late. WAY late.”

“Maybe set a reasonable bedtime for him”

“I will.” I said, then went to the bathroom to shave after finishing my tea. As I walked in, I noticed my hair was long and flowing, not to mention it was red with black streaks in it.

“Well i see your mane has grown”

“Yeah. Considerably.” I said “I remember only yesterday I gave myself a complete buzzcut and now its 4 feet long”

“I would not do that” Luna suggested

“Why not?” I said

“It will grow again”

“Ok then.” I said, and decided against shaving. “I need to get BlueBlood up. Its 11:30 am. Not even I sleep in this long.” I walked to BlueBlood’s room and walked in. “Son, my mom is here. Want to see her?” I asked hoping that would get him up

“Nnnnnnng let me sleep” BlueBlod complained not budging

“Come on son, she wants to see you.” I said

“Just five more minutes please”

“Ok, 5 more minutes.” I said then walked back down to Luna.

“Did he wake up?”

“I gave him 5 more minutes. If he’s not up by then I’m getting him up whether he likes it or not.” I said, sitting down

“He was always the lazy little colt” Giggled Luna

I smiled. “Well, he might be lazy, but he’s pretty cool. I‘m glad I was able to take him in as my son.” I said

“As am I”

10 minutes passed and Blueblood still wasn’t awake yet. “Ok, I am getting him out of bed.” I said and went to his room and got his ass out of bed. “come on son. time to get up.” I said

“Fiinnneeee”

I picked him up and walked downstairs to where Luna was. “here he is.” I said

“Good morning BlueBlood” Luna said in a cheery voice

I set BlueBlood down and made breakfast for the three of us

“What is this” He asked

“I made omelets.” I said, and plated one each for me, Blueblood and Luna

“It smells great” Luna stated

“Go ahead and dig in.” I said and started eating

“With pleasure”BlueBlood said digging in

I chuckled. “I hope you like it, mom.”

“It is well i must say”

I smiled and finished eating. I waited for BlueBlood and Luna to finish, so I decided to make some coffee since I wasn’t fully awake yet

“May i be excused” BlueBlood asked

“Yes.” I said as he walked away

“I taught him what my human dad taught me.” I said to Luna. “I figured it was for the best.”

“Well your father was a wise man” Luna said

“That he was, Mom. That he was” I said

“Now if you will excuse me i must head back to canterlot”

“Ok. Have a good trip.” I said

“I will” Luna said “ALLIONS-Y “

I watched as she disappeared in a cloud of black lightning.

Another 3 months passed and BlueBlood was doing extremely well in school and he was making lots of friends. I was heading to the schoolhouse where BlueBlood was waiting for me.

“Lets head home” BlueBlood stated as he galloped

“Ok. Get in the truck and I’ll meet you there.”

“Hello Mr.Steel” Cheerilee said

“Hi Cheerilee. How are ya?” I asked

“I am well but we need to talk”

Chapter 7: I Go On My First Date

Ch. 7 I go on my first date

After my talk with Cheerilee and getting BlueBlood home, a month had passed and winter had settled in. I was about to head out when I yelled, “BlueBlood, I’ll be back!” I said, and got my double layer coat on so I wouldn’t freeze.

I walked outside and I felt like the temperature was below freezing, and it was. I got in my truck and slammed the door shut. “Damn its cold out there! I feel like my mane was going to freeze!” I said, and started my truck. Since it was cold outside, my truck was slow to start.

When it finally started, I drove to where Ms. Cheerilee lived. I quickly got out of my truck, ran to the door and knocked. “Ms. Cheerilee, can I come in?” I asked. I had to yell over the sound of the wind.

I waited for about 15 minutes and nothing happened. I waited another 20 minutes in the freezing wind, and still nothing happened. I knocked on her door again. “I’ll wait 5 more minutes. If she doesn’t answer by then, I am going home.” I said to myself. I was about to leave when I decided to knock on her door one more time. I sneezed while I was waiting for her to open the door. I was freezing my ass off, so to speak.

“Oh just one minute” Cheerilee shouted

“Ok!” I shouted back, then waited for her to open the door. Every moment that I waited, it got colder. I was waiting for so long, the cold air finally got through my coat and sweatpants. I was cold, my nose was running and I felt like shit in general. I was waiting for Cheerilee to open her door so I could get inside and talk to her. “Come on, Cheerilee. Hurry up! I’m freezing my ass off out here!” I said to myself. I felt my mane starting to freeze a bit. I knocked again, I was stuttering a bit since I was cold. “C-Cheerilee? C-could you p-please hurry up? I-I’m freezing!” I let out a loud sneeze to punctuate my sentence.

“I said you could come in silly didn’t you hear me?” She shouted to me

I walked inside, and closed the door. “Sorry. I couldn’t hear you over the wind.” I said

“Oh its fine i have some coffee in the kitchen go ahead and grab some if you want” Cheerilee said with a smile

“Thanks!” I said, and quickly got a mugful of piping hot coffee and drank some of it. “Thanks again.” I said, and took off my frozen coat

“Is it really that cold out?”

“Pretty much.” I said “Anyway, I wanted to ask if I could take you on a date sometime.” I said.
“Hmmm i think yes” Cheerilee stated

“Thanks Cheerilee.” I said, and finished my coffee. This was great news for me. I really hadn’t been into dating much, but I had a hunch that this could work.

I was on my way to pick up Cheerilee when it started snowing out. I found her house and knocked on the door. I had my coat on over my clean clothes so they wouldn’t get covered in snow.

“So Steel what is it like living with BlueBlood?” Asked Cheerilee

“its good. He can be a bit lazy at times, but he’s good mannered.” I said

“Oh believe me I know he can be lazy” Giggles Cheerilee

I chuckled. “Ready for our date tonight?” I asked.

“About as ready as i will ever be”

I smiled. I opened the door of my truck and let her get in first. After she was buckled into the passenger seat, I got in the driver’s seat and started it with a roar of the engine.

“Oh my goodness that is wow”

I chuckled. “where I came from, they didn’t call this a big rig for nothing! They also didn’t give it a 600 Horsepower engine for nothing!” I wondered if I shouldn’t have said that.

“It is something i will say that” Cheerilee said

I chuckled and drove us to the nearest restaurant in Canterlot. I figured I would treat Cheerilee to a very nice dinner. “we’re here!” I said, and turned off the truck. I got out then ran around to the passenger side to let Cheerilee out. “Ready, Cheerilee?” I asked, clearly ready for the night ahead.

“Ah yes i am ready” Cheerilee chirped

I smiled and closed the door after she got out of the cab. We ran inside the restaurant since it was cold out.

“Oh my fancy isn’t it”

“Yeah it is.” I said as she took her seat which i pulled out like a gentlecolt when i took my seat as we sat there i got a smile “Would you like some wine?”

“Yes that would be very nice” Cheerilee said smiling right at me as we waited on our food

I dropped Cheerilee off at her house and drove home after a great dinner and in my opinion, a successful date. As I was driving, I saw a flash of black lightning and Luna appeared in the cab. “Hey mom. How are ya?” I asked, not taking my eyes off the snow covered road.

“I am well and you?” Luna asked

“I am good. I went on my first date.” I said, happy with myself and happy about how the date went.

“Well that is good i wanted to let you know BlueBlood was no trouble and is in bed right now” Luna said making my jaw drop she had left him home on his own

“I hope he didn’t break anything!” I said, and floored the accelerator

“Oh no he did not he is fast asleep in his bed” Luna added with a small smirk

We arrived at my house and I am sure ponyville could hear the sound of rubber skidding on cobblestone. I ran inside and up to his room where he was, to my surprise, asleep. I also noticed something different about him. I looked closer and noticed his mane was wavy. I also noticed wings growing on his sides.

I closed the door to his room and went downstairs. I noticed Luna there and decided to ask her something. “Mom, am I a pegacorn, or a full blown Alicorn?” I asked, hoping to get this off my chest.

Welp everypony this is the chappie is different that is for sure but i want to clear this up BlueBlood is NOT an alicorn he is a pegacorn the difference is a pegacorn has a normal lifespan

Chapter 8: Hearth's Warming (Christmas)

Ch. 8 Hearth’s warming (Christmas)

Luna paused for a moment at my question. I saw a look in her eyes, but I couldn’t tell if it was happiness or sadness. “To answer your question, you are an Alicorn. You’ll live forever.”

“What about BlueBlood?” I asked out of pure curiosity.

“He is a pegacorn he has a normal life span as does Cheerilee” Luna said with a wink

“Ok. I was just curious.” I said, and sat on the couch. I was tired, but I had a great night, and I didn’t have anything to complain about.

“So how was the date?” Luna asked with a small giggle

“It was great, mom. Perfect.” I said, happy with how my first date went. I decided that I hadn’t used my wings at all, and thought I would like to have some time with Luna by flying with her.

“So have you gotten BlueBlood for hearth's warming?” Luna asked with a smile

“I haven’t decided what I should get him. Its a few weeks away, so I still have time to get his wish list from him and get BlueBlood what he wants for Christmas.” I said

“Umm Steel hearths warming is like Christmas”

“Really? Then I’ll just call it Christmas. For me, the word Christmas rolls off the tongue a lot smoother and makes more sense.” I said

“But up here ponies do not know what Christmas it is called Hearths warming” Luna stated

“Ok, but to me, it will be christmas. I’ll just what ponies call it.” I said, and I stopped there because I didn’t want to confuse the two holidays with one another.

“Well that is what we call it here and please for the our sake say it” Luna asked with pleading eyes

“Ok. I’ll see what I can get him for Hearth’s Warming.” I said. I had an idea on how I could spend some alone time with Luna since I hadn’t seen her for 34 ½ years. “Hey mom, want to fly together? I haven’t used my wings yet and I want to know what it’s like to fly.” I said with a hint of eagerness.

“That will take time your wings are still wear from growing so it will take time” Luna said

“I’m a fast learner Mom. Trust me.” I said. The fast learner part was true. I wanted to show her a trick I learned. “Hey mom, watch this.” I said, and I did a double front flip in front of her and landed. I was in my Pony form.

“When did you learn that!?” Luna shouted

“It was a trick that I learned.” I said. “Like I said, I am a FAST learner.”

“That was amazing” Luna exclaimed

“Yeah, watch this!” I said, jumping into the air again, this time doing a double backflip and I was in my Anthro form again. “Try it!” I said

“I think i like you on all fours” Luna giggled out

I chuckled. “Really? I guess I could go on all fours to get used to it.” I said, doing a double front flip and landed on all fours. “Changing which form I am in was the easy part. Learning to to a double frontflip and double backflip was the hard part.” I said. “So Mom, think we could fly together?” I asked again, hoping to get some time with her so I could catch up on what happened for the last 34 ½ years.

“Wait your going out now?”

“Yeah. Hearth’s Warming day is only 3 or 4 days away. I’m going to see if I can get as much of your wish list as I can.” I said and opened the front door. “Can I trust you not to burn the house down while I’m gone?” I asked

“Yes what do i look like a house burner” BlueBlood half asked

I smiled and went out. I got in my truck and started it, then headed to the store. When I got to the store, I saw Luna there. I waved to her as I got out. “Morning Mom!” I said as I did my double frontflip and walked up to her in my pony form.

“Good Steel” Luna said with a smile
“Want to help me get what’s on BlueBlood’s wish list?” I asked, levitating the list in front of me.

“Hmm why not” Luna said

I smiled and we went about getting what was on Blueblood’s wish list. An hour and a half later we were walking out of the store with BIG bags of presents.

“It would be smart to hide those from him” Luna suggested

“I will Mom. Don’t worry about that.” I said, as we loaded the bags into my truck. As I finished my double backflip to become an anthro again, I saw a flyer for a talent show that night. “I love talent shows. Should I enter?” I asked while looking at the flyer

“Only if you want to”

I smiled and signed up. “I have a natural talent for voice impersonating and singing.” I said.

“Well then you should enter it if you want to” Luna smiled

“I already did. They are going to have their minds blown away by my ability to impersonate voices.” I said

I met up with Luna after the talent show. “Did you like my impression of George Carlin?” I asked, then explained who George Carlin was.

“I Loved the impression you did, son.” Luna said with a smile.

“Want to fly to my house with me?” I asked, and I knew how to fly, so I was feeling confident. “I learned how to fly, and I want show you.”

“well then lets fly” Lua said sprouting her wings

I smiled and flared my wings, and took off for my house.

Chaper 9: Hearth's Warming Day

Ch. 9 Hearth’s Warming Day

As I was flying home with Luna, I suggested she stay for Hearth’s warming. I wanted to be able to catch up on the years I spent away from her. Also, I had spent so many christmases alone in my previous life on Earth. She happily agreed we arrived home at around ten or eleven

We landed and we walked inside. “Wow. it was cold out there. Even with how fast we were flying.” I said, folding my wings

“Well when its cold out and you are flying of course it will make you colder” Luna halfass joked with me still it was funny i gotta say

I leaned closer and whispered in her ear. “I’m going to put all of the presents under the tree. Want to help me?” I asked, since I wouldn’t want to damage any of the presents while carrying them.

“Yes that would be great but maybe you could not be in your anthro form for the sake of Hearths Warming please” Luna said

“Ok. I’ll be in my pony form after I put the presents under the tree.” I said with as much honesty as I could muster

“Well that seems fair AS LONG AS A CERTAIN COLT IS STILL IN BED” Luna shouted knowing that BlueBlood was still awake

I turned and saw him. “Come on son. Time for you to get to bed. It’s 11:30 at night.” I said to him.

“I am not awake i am sleep talking and going to bed now” BlueBlood said closing his door

I smiled. “Now to put those presents under the tree.” I said, and motioned for Luna to follow me to my room where the presents were. I unlocked the deadbolt on my door and opened it. “I had to lock it so he wouldn’t be sneaking in there while we were gone.” I said

“Smart seems a bit creepy but smart” Luna chirped

I smiled. I took the small presents first then helped Luna with the larger ones.

“Oh to be young again looking forward to presents under the tree” Luna giggled

“I know, right?” I said in agreement as we pushed the last present into place.

“Imagine his delight when he does not get a book for once that is all Tia got him was books saying it would help him out in the future”

“Wow. I remember one christmas my parents got me a dictionary.” I said. “It was the worst christmas present ever.”

“I am sure it helped in some ways but who knows it might not have” Luna deadpanned

I shrugged and did my double frontflip and was in my pony form, as I had promised. I was tired, and I could see Luna was too. “If you want to Mom, you could share my bed with me. I don’t mind.” I said while halfway up the stairs.

“No i will snooze on a cloud” Luna said making a dark cloud appear in the living room

I instantly wanted to sleep on a cloud myself. “think you could make another one?” I asked

“Why of course” Luna then made a blue cloud “Its just a simple spell well its hard but i find it simple”

I got on my cloud and was met with the softest bed I ever slept on. “So soft... much softer than a mattress I’ll tell you that.” I said

“I will fix that tomorrow” Luna said with a wink “It is not that hard you know”

“Anyway.. lets get some rest.” I said, and fell asleep

“You might want to wake up its five in the morning” Luna whispered into my ear poking me with a stick

I woke up slowly. “I’m up, I’m up.....” I yawned loudly. Only to be poked with the stick again

“I’m up!” I said and got off my cloud

“What this is how i woke Tia up thousands of year ago” Luna giggled “Oh it was funny”

“You want to know how early I had to wake up one day?” I asked, still pretty damn tired

“No how early was it?”

“One time, I had to get up at 2 in the morning.” I said

“That is nothing one time i did not sleep for a month i was addicted to coffee”

“Wow.” I said, surprised at that

“It took Tia forever to find any and all coffee in the castle that i hid”

“Wow!” I said still shocked at that

“Want some coffee, Mom?” I said, now that I was fully awake, and was already walking to the kitchen. I had started to make some, and soon the aroma of fresh coffee was all through the living room. I Loved the smell of fresh coffee in the morning. I started making food so I would have something in my stomach.

I was making biscuits, eggs, and hash browns for breakfast, and I could tell Luna wanted some. “Want some, Mom?” I asked, obviously knowing the answer would be yes. I was still tired since she woke me up at 5 in the morning, but the smell of food and coffee was more than enough to wake me up.

Once breakfast was done, I heard little hoofsteps coming down the stairs in a hurry. “Morning son. Sleep well?” I asked, seeing him in a happy mood on the morning of December 25th. I then turned around and saw the pile of presents had, quite literally, tripled in size. “I didn’t see that happen. I only remember getting a certain number of presents.” I said, slightly surprised at the sheer size of the present pile.

“Well BlueBlood did have some stuff he got for you” Luna said

“Wow.” I said, and was surprised that for the first time in a while, someone got me something for Christmas/Hearth’s warming.

“Yup he made all of them himself” Luna stated

“Wow.” I said then ruffled BlueBlood’s mane with a hoof

“Yup i hope that you like them” BlueBlood

“I hope I will. Lets eat then open our presents.” I said, and dished everypony some breakfast. I am still getting used to pony vocabulary, but hey. I’m learning it.

“ Wait why aren't you walking on two legs?” BlueBlood asked

“Lets just say someone convinced me otherwise.” I said and smiled at Luna

“Lets just go with that” Luna said as she began eating

I smiled and ate my breakfast as well. I was glad that I had someone to spend christmas/hearth’s warming with.

After breakfast was over and done with, we set to literally tearing open our presents.

“Well this is a little surprise i made for you* BlueBlood said carrying a present to me

I took it. “Thanks!” I said and tore it open. It was a small wooden sculpture of my truck. “I love it! Great job!” I said

“Thanks it took me awhile to make but it was worth it”

“It was.” I said, and pushed a box towards Luna with a smile.

“Oh and what is this” Luna asked opening it

“I knew how much you liked stargazing, so I got you a new telescope!” I said with a smile.

“I love it Steel” Luna said giving me a hug

I hugged her back and smiled. I took the moment to show Luna that I loved her, and gave her a kiss on the cheek.

“Aww thank you Steel”

“You’re welcome Mom.” I said and hugged her again. We continued opening presents until no more remained to be opened.

“Hey what about me?” BlueBlood asked

I gave him a kiss on the cheek as well.

“Well Steel I could use a little nap” Luna yawned out

“Ok. I could use one too.” I said, since I was tired after an exciting day, and napped on my cloud next to Luna’s. I was happy to have people or in this case, ponies to spend a holiday with. It warmed my heart.

Chapter 10:New Years Eve

Ch. 10 New years eve

Six days passed and it was New Year’s Eve. I was at home with BlueBlood, and we were enjoying ourselves with games and whatnot.

“Having fun Steel” Luna asked

“I am Mom. That I am. I got board games galore.” I said with a smile, then I heard someone land outside.

“What was that?” BlueBlood asked

I went to the door and opened it. It was Celestia of all ponies. “Hi Celestia! Come on in!” I said

“That one i might do”Celestia said stepping in

I closed the door after she entered. “How are ya Celestia?” I asked, and prepared to show her what I showed Luna a few weeks ago. “Want to see a trick I learned?” I asked her

“Yes that sounds nice”

“Ok. You will be amazed.” I said, then did my double front flip and landed on all fours in front of her. “LIke it?” I asked as I stood at my full height. At my full height, I was as tall as Luna, and I was 6 inches shorter than Celestia

“Wow that is amazing Steel”

I smiled. “I’m glad you like it. Now, watch this.” I said, and did a double backflip and was an anthro again, and this time, I actually landed flat on my ass.

“You alright Steel?” Luna asked

I got up. “I’m fine. its not the first time I’ve landed flat on my ass.” I said. I then looked to Celestia and asked, “Are you my aunt? I’m just asking.” I was just asking out of curiosity.

Celestia chuckled at me “Well seeing as Luna is my sister that is a yes”

I smiled. “Well, this is great!” I said with joy. “I didn’t know I had an entire other family in another world.” I then gave Celestia and Luna a hug.

I then noticed it was nearing midnight. “Ok Mom, aunt Celestia, Its almost midnight. Lets get ready to welcome the new year!” I said excitedly, and started digging out random shit out of a closet that I kept locked and for good reason. I didn’t want BlueBlood ruining these special things I had stocked in my truck before I got teleported to Equestria. “Mom, Celestia, you are about to see how I celebrate the coming of a new year!” I said excitedly as I carefully set bottles of rare vodka on the table. And when I say rare, I mean RARE. “These are from a special stash I have. I only drink out of these once a year, and this is the ONE DAY I drink out of these bottles.” I said, grabbing a few small glasses from the cupboard and setting them on the table.

I offered some to Luna and Celestia. “Want some of the RAREST vodka I could find?” I asked, hoping they would say yes. They did not know what I had to do to get this extremely rare stuff.

“Hmm yes” Both Celestia and Luna said at the same time

“Ok then!” I said, smiling. I then poured them each a small glassful of the special booze. “Here you go.” I said, handing the glasses to them. I then noticed BlueBlood looking like he was thirsty, so I gave him a can of Pepsi.

About 15 minutes later there was only 1 minute left of the year. “Ok, there’s only one minute left of this year, and lets end it with a fireworks show!” I said, and dug out a HUGE box of fireworks from the closet. After putting the RARE vodka back in it and locking the door with the ten deadbolts I installed on it, of course.

“Oh yes the fire works if i remember Tia hates them” Luna giggled

I shrugged, got my coat on, and headed outside with the box in my hands. “You guys want to see the year go out with a bang?” I asked them as I was setting up the fireworks.

“Yes infact i would” Celestia said

I had all the fireworks setup and ready to go. I had the fuse in my hand and was about to light it when I noticed BlueBlood inside.

“What is all of this?”

“Fireworks. This is how I celebrate the coming of a new year. Want to watch them go off?” I asked him

“I guess so”

I smiled and motioned for him to come outside.

I heard the clock strike midnight and I lit the fuse to the fireworks. A few seconds later fireworks were blasting off and exploding in the sky above. I hugged Luna, Celestia and Blueblood. “Happy new year.” I said
“Steel may i speak with you in private?” Celestia asked

“Yeah.” I said, and followed her inside as Luna and Blueblood were watching the fireworks go off

“Steel i need to know something” Celestia said

“What is it you need to know?” I asked

“Has BlueBlood been doing his physical therapy?”

I was confused. “I didn’t know he had physical therapy. You never told me about that.” I said innocently. “But he has been getting a lot of exercise, though.”

“No i told you about it he needs to because when he was a foal he did not get enough protein and never really walked to he needs to do that here is the address for a doctor who can help with it” Celestia said handing me a paper

I took the paper and put it in my wallet. “I’ll get him in there when I can and get him started. You got my word on that.” I said

“Well then have him there next monday”

“I will.” I said, walking back outside with her

“What was that about?” BlueBlood asked

“I’ll tell you when we get inside, ok?” I said, and set to cleaning up the mess left by the fireworks.

“Okay sounds fair to me” BlueBlood said walking inside

“Steel do you see how his legs are wobbling a little?” Celestia asked

“Yea I do. I wish I had known about his physical therapy sooner.” I said

“Tia told you about this Steel” Luna deadpanned

I rolled my eyes and finished cleaning up the remains of the fireworks. “I’ll get him to the physical therapy center on monday.” I said, and put away the fireworks until the end of next year.

Chapter 11: Physical Therapy, or physical nightmares?

Ch. 11 Physical Therapy, or physical nightmares?

Monday came and I was just about to take BlueBlood to his physical therapy appointment

“Wait why are we here?” BlueBlood asked

“Celestia said you needed physical therapy.” I said, and got out of the truck

“What no I do not” BlueBlood said

“Yes she did. She told me about a problem you had and she said to get you into the physical therapist.” I said

“Fine these things always take forever though” BlueBlood stated

I rolled my eyes and walked into the therapy center where the therapist was waiting. I walked up to the desk and told the receptionist that I had scheduled an appointment for BlueBlood.

“Okay just walk back Dr.HeartThorn is the third to last room” The receptionist said

“Ok, thanks.” I said, and walked with BlueBlood to the third to last room as the receptionist had said.

“Oh hello you must be Steel and I guess this young colt is BlueBlood” HeartThorn said with a smile

“Yeah. Nice to meet ya Dr. HeartThorn.” I said

“Thank you but first I need you too filly out these forms” HeartThorn said levitating some forms to me

“Ok. I will.” I said, and filled out the forms

“If you read them than you know all the forms are just explain his condition and to say you are his legal guardian” HeartThorn stated

I handed them back to him 5 minutes later, filled out and the last form had my signature on the legal Guardian line

“Thank you now we can get started follow me” HeartThorn said walking into another room

We followed him into the room and saw various things throughout.

“BlueBlood gets his own private physical therapy room” HeartThorn smiled

I was amazed at how awesome it looked. I was used to this kind of room being a dull and boring white color. This one was painted a nice forest green.

“Well from my years of experience I have learned that forest green is a very soothing color and it helps keep the pony calm during physical therapy”

“I would have to agree with you on that!” I said

“Thank you I painted it myself” HeartThorn then gave me a wink

I just stood there in silence. I couldn’t understand why he winked at me.

“You are a beautiful mare” HeartThorn smiled at me and gave me a second wink

I facepalmed so hard I think someone in another room would have heard it. Now, I’ve seen a few perverts on Earth, but this guy takes the cake. “This takes the cake as the most perverted moment I have experienced.”

“Hold on ma’am let me get my glasses on” HeartThorn said placing his glasses on his head “Oops you're a guy well this is awkward sorry about that sir”

“I agree. Lets just pretend that never happened, agreed?” I said in slight embarrassment but we could hear BlueBlood snickering

“Yes it never happened BUT lets get to business come on BlueBlood” HeartThorn said levitating him to a piece of equipment

“I’ll be back, Blueblood. I’m going to go get something for us to eat.” I said

“No no you can stay if you want but I think it helps children out when there is a parent around but I think we should let him decide”

“What do you think BlueBlood?” I asked him

“Well I would like to do this on my own” BlueBlood said

“Ok. I can respect that decision.” I said, and left. I was glad he made that decision himself.

I had arrived at a cafe to get some food for me and BlueBlood when I ran into Cheerilee

“Sorry about that!” I said
“Oh its quite alright Steel” Cheerilee said with a smile

“How have you been lately?” I asked in a casual tone

“Oh just fine and how are you and BlueBlood?” Cheerilee asked

“We’re doing great. I took BlueBlood to his first Physical Therapy appointment today.” I said

“Oh my he needs physical therapy I noticed his little leg wobble and other things but thought nothing of the matter”

“Good thing Celestia told me about it a few nights ago on new years eve.” I said

“Wait BlueBlood did not say anything about it?” Cheerilee asked “I know I had to suspend Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon for throwing him on the ground”

I was PISSED OFF at this. “Cheerilee, might I ask WHY they did that?”

“They are just a couple of bullies their parents took care of them”

“I am glad to hear that. I’ll be sure to give them a good talking to when I get the chance. I’ll try to not go too far, of course.” I said, knowing all too well what happens when I get thoroughly pissed off

“Oh do not worry please its fine I will lecture them and let the class know what is wrong with him” Cheerilee explained

“Ok. I will be sure to be listening to the lecture.” I said to her in a happy tone. I loved it when someone that was rude got a long lecture.

“So what are you doing here?”

“Just grabbing some lunch for Blueblood and myself.” I said.

“Well thank is good I hope he is doing well” Cheerilee said

“Ok. I’ll be sure to tell him that. It was nice to see you again, Cheerilee.” I said, waving to her as I left the Cafe, food in tow.

“Are we still on for this weekend?” Cheerilee asked

“Yes we are!” I said in a happy tone. As I was about to get into my truck, I noticed someone was already in there. I knew it wasn’t luna or Celestia, because this alicorn was light pink in color. “Who are you?” I asked the alicorn as I got in my truck

“Huh oh nopony just a ghost of past”

“I call bullshit.” I said bluntly.

“I am Princess Cadance princess of love” she giggled “I know when somepony is in love”

“I’m Steel Diamond, nice to meet ya.” I said

“I know who you are”

I deadpanned. “I take it Luna told you?” I asked as I started my truck.

“Yes she did”

“Anyway, I take it news of me spread through Canterlot like wildfire?” I asked

“You bet it is”

“Wow. just wow.” I said, and started for the physical therapy center.

“Well now i must leave” Cadence said “ALLONS-Y”

I shrugged and arrived at the physical therapy center where Blueblood was finished with his session for the day.

I arrived at the physical therapy center and went to the room were BlueBlood was doing his physical therapy only to hear “Darn it” being shouted

I had a Dafuk expression on my face as I heard that.

“Calm down BlueBlood just try again” I heard HeartThorn say

I walked into the room and surprised them by saying, “everything alright in here?”

“Yes BlueBlood just fell” HeartThorn said

I was relieved that he didn’t hurt himself. “So, he almost done?” I asked

“He just finished for the day I will need to see him every two to three days” HeartThorn explained
“Ok, I can do that.” I said

“Thank you now BlueBlood I will see you tomorrow okay”

“Okay Dr.HeartThorn” BlueBlood said

I walked with BlueBlood to the receptionist and asked how much it would cost for the appointment.

“Oh he has insurance so nothing”

“That’s good to hear.” I said, and scheduled another appointment for him tomorrow at the same time.

We were in the truck a few minutes later and gave Blueblood his half of the food I got for us.

“Wait when did you get food?” Asked BlueBlood

“I got it while I was going around town for a bit.” I said.

“Oh well thats cool” BlueBlood said walking not as shakily

At that moment, I saw Cadence fly by. I wondered why she would fly near my truck.

“Hey Cadence” BlueBlood shouted

I waved to her and I saw her teleport into the cab of my truck, nearly startling me in the process.

“Hi BlueBlood” Cadence smiled

“Hi Cadence.” I said and started the truck. “How are ya?”

“I am well coming to see my favorite cousin” she said ruffling BlueBlood’s mane

I smiled and started to take Blueblood home with cadence riding with us.

“How is he doing in school?” Cadence asked

“He is doing great, Cadence.” I said. “he has made lots of friends, and has great straight A’s.”

“Thats good to hear shocking he is asleep now” Cadance giggled

I chuckled and pulled up to the house. “Want to see my house, Cadence?” I asked as I got out with a sleeping BlueBlood in my arms

“Well how is his physical therapy?”

“It went well.” I said, walking inside with Cadence following me.

“Thats good I heard about some fillies pushing him” Cadence growled out

“Yeah. Cheerilee suspended Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon for doing that to him and will be lecturing them about BlueBlood’s condition.” I said

“Well that is good they were so mean to him”

“Yeah. Also, that is a lecture I will be listening to.” I said “I love it when bullies get lectured about what they did was wrong.” I chuckled

“No remember Aunt Luna said that is a big nono for you” Cadance lectured me

I dropped a mental F-bomb and asked why. “Why not?” I asked

“Just no okay no”

“Fine.” I said in a sort of pissed off tone.

“Thank you now go and lay him down”

I put him in bed and came back downstairs where Cadence was waiting.

A few hours later, a hail storm started. I woke up and heard what sounded like a crying filly. I ran to the front door and I found the source of the crying. It was a filly Chrysalis on my doorstep in the middle of a hailstorm. I normally had a hatred for Chrysalis, but I couldn’t just leave her out in a hailstorm with the hailstones about the size of a golf ball.

“Meep”

I bent down and picked her up and took her inside. I could tell she almost had suffered from hypothermia, so I got her a heavy blanket and some hot cocoa. I sat next to her. “are you ok?” I asked, hoping she was alright.

“Y-yeah I am fine”

I smiled at that and went to the fireplace. I lit a fire in it and 5 minutes later it was good and hot.
“Ugg what is all the noise?” BlueBlood groaned walking into the living room

“I found this filly out in the storm. She was cold and I couldn’t just leave her there.” I said then added, “So I brought her inside to get her warm.”

“Oh its Chrysalis” He almost growled out

I stepped in front of him. “BlueBlood, you will not lay a hoof on her if you intend to hurt her. She was in a storm, cold and helpless, so I did what I thought was best.” I said, turning to Chrysalis.

“She is a cold blooded creature that is all” He sneered

“Blueblood, go to your room. NOW. We are going to have a little talk about this.” I said

“She tried killing Cadence though”

“ROOM. NOW!” I said, almost yelling.

With that he ran up there all I could hear was him saying something about her being an evil being from the bowels of hell

I sat next to Chrysalis and sighed. “Are you really an evil being?” I asked her

“Give or take yes I did foalnap Cadence or whatever her name is and say I was her so yeah I guess so” Chrysalis said

“Did you try to kill her so to speak?” I asked

“Noooooo I did not”

“I’ll be right back. I need to go have a chat with BlueBlood.” I said, getting up and going to Blueblood’s room. All Chrysalis could hear was some chatter and a punishment almost being issued.

“Just what do you need harboring such an evil little bug down there” Once again he growled but to me

“like I said, she was in the middle of a storm and I couldn’t leave her out there. She was cold and helpless.” I said

“Like I said she is an evil bug who tried to harm my family” BlueBlood glared at me

“Still, I wouldn’t have left her outside in that storm. I helped her and that is all that matters. End of discussion.” I said going back downstairs only to find not only was Chrysalis there, but Luna, Celestia and Cadence were there too.

“Well well lookie here” Cadence said “Looks like Chrysalis is now a little filly”

I saw the look on her face and I saw she was mad. “Cadence, before you get mad, I found her on my doorstep in the middle of this storm. She was cold and helpless.”

“Oh I am not mad just enjoying this” she said as she pushed Chrysalis back

I sat next to Luna and Celestia and talked to them about how I found Chrysalis on my doorstep in the middle of the night.

“So it seems that somehow the storm got affected by magic and made this little filly” Celestia explained

“I would have to say so.” I said in agreement.

“Well there is only one thing to do now” Luna said

“That would be to raise her.” I said

“No we must take her now and throw her in the dungeons” Celestia stated

I got up. I hated to blatantly defy royalty, but I had to do this. “No. I found her, so I get to decide what happens to her.” I said bluntly

“I am sorry Steel but it is the only way to be safe you never know with her” Luna replied

I sat down. “This is bullshit. I saved a filly and she has to be put in the dungeons.” I said, somewhat pissed off. “It doesn’t matter who you are. Everyone deserves a second chance!” I said

“Well I think I know of a way to make sure she will not try anything” Cadance said with an almost evil grin

“Yea Cadence?” I asked

“This” She said as she placed what looked like a thick shock collar on Chrysalis “If she does not try anything evil in a months time it will disperse but one evil thing and she will be hit with thousands of volts of electricity and be teleported to a cold dark cell”

I found that kind of harsh, but it was the only alternative. “Fine.” I said
“Good to hear now we must leave”
