The door to the Wonderbolts locker room burst open as the flying elite trotted inside.
"Phew!" Rainbow Dash sighed as she pulled her goggles off and wiped the sweat off her brow, before partially opening the zipper of her flight suit; letting her floof breathe.
"Training was rough today, huh Dash?" Fleetfoot shimmied out of her own suit, letting it fall crumpled around her hooves before winging it into a laundry bin.
The other Wonderbolt mares did much the same as them, while the stallions filed in after, going to their side of the locker room.
"Hah! Are you kidding? I feel like I could go all day!" She reared up and hoofy kicked at the air. "How about another ten mile flight, or a hundred more wing-ups?"
"Sounds like I didn't push you hard enough, Crash." Spitfire said, looking displeased.
Rainbow blanched and straightened up as a cadet in reflex. "What!? Uh, actually, but, uh, I should probably give my wings rest; don't wanna over-do it and get them too big, you know?"
The other mares guffawed and heckled her.
"Yeah-yeah." Said Fleetfoot.
"Sure, Crash." Eyerolled Misty Fly.
"That's just a myth, right?" Vapor Trail said, sounding unsure herself.
"If you just wanna burn a little more energy, Crash, you should join up with the boys in the shower." Spitfire rasped.
Soarin came trotting into the locker room. "Sounds good to me, what do you say, Rainbow; want some help washing your withers?" He said with a relaxed, easy going smile.
Rainbow Dash looked at him in suspicious disbelief. "Uh, no thanks, Clipper; this pony can wash herself, by herself," she said in equal parts pride and arrogance.
Soarin deflated, looking sad. "Oh, okay, Dash."
Surprise got their attention. "Well maybe Dash would prefer a mare's touch instead?"
Rainbow exasperated. "I don't need anypony's help, you guys ask me after every practice, I'm not a little foal that needs help in the bath." She firmly shut her locker door to emphasis her annoyance.
The other mares all turned their attention on Rainbow Dash, who didn't notice the mood change as she went to clean up.
Fleetfoot, ever the most empathetic of the group, trotted over to him. "I'll help you out, Clips; that is, if it's now an open invite?"
Soarin's mood instantly improved. "Thanks, Flatfoot; want me to massage your back the way you like?" He turned to herd her towards the showers.
"Sounds like a deal!" Fleetfoot giggled, then turned and glanced between Spitfire and Rainbow, before gesturing with a nod at the latter.
Spitfire nodded, getting the message.
"Crash!" Spitfire pulled back the shower curtain and barked in her drill pony voice, making her stand to attention.
"Yes, Ma'am!" Rainbow saluted at attention with suds matting her mane to cover her face.
"I want you in my office in 10." She immediately made for the shower stall next to her.
"Yes, Ma'am; your office in 10!" Rainbow tried to swallow the knot in her throat. 'Oh buck, what'd I do; was showering with Soarin that big of a deal?'
Rainbow showered quickly, too lost in thought and worry to notice how the others were acting in the shower. The giggles and moans of the other mares fell on her deaf ears; before she bolted for Spitfire's office.
Rainbow stared at the old Wonderbolt-themed grandsire clock, counting the ticks and tocks with the swing of the pendulum inside its housing. Each sound was ticking down the time she had left to stay in the Wonderbolts.
She immediately stood and saluted when Spitfire came within sight, wordlessly cantering passed her to enter her office.
"Get in here, Crash." Ordered Spitfire.
Rainbow Dash presented herself in front of her captain.
"I'm going to ask you some questions, and you're going to be honest with me, understand?" She stated.
Rainbow swallowed her nervousness. "Yes, Mam." Her voice cracked. She was already imagining getting kicked out of the bolts. For what? She didn't know, and 'not knowing' was the source of her anxiety; as a billion possibilities ran through her mind.
She didn't put enough salt in the food last time; and that was because she put too much the time before that. And there were budget cuts, so she watered down the detergent used in their uniforms; thinking she was helping. She was tardy to practice after a friendship map quest one time, it was only 10 seconds, so she didn't think anypony would notice.
But Rainbow could see it now, she wasn't doing enough. That's it! But what more could she do? Rainbow hadn't the faintest idea, she always gave 110% every practice.
Spitfire cleared her throat. "Has anypony now, or in the past, ever harassed you in any way, Rainbow Dash?" She asked, relaxing her voice. Spitfire using her normal voice and name made everything 10 times more off-putting.
Rainbow swallowed again. "I- N-no, mam, I mean, no more than the usual teasing from the team mam." Her voice cracked, seeing Spitfire's eyebrow raise. "B-but I can take it, I got a thick hide; it's really not a big deal, honest."
"What about sexually?"
"W-What?" Rainbow broke her attentive stance, caught off guard.
"Has anypony now, or in the past, sexually harassed you; have they pressured you into mating with them, touched or said anything inappropriate to you." Spitfire asked, watching her with a hawk's gaze.
"N-No, of course not!" Rainbow defended. "What's this all about? If I did something wrong, I promise, I'll do better, I'll-"
"At ease, Dash," Spitfire commanded, but softened her look, and lost all the bravado she used to speak normally at Rainbow. "You're not in trouble, I'm trying to figure out what's going on between you and the rest of the Bolts."
Rainbow was reeling at how soft and calm her captain was speaking with her. "What's going on?" She repeated. "Nothing! I don't even know what we're talking about."
"Have a seat, Rainbow, relax; right now I'm not your Captain, we're just two mares talking." Spitfire opened up her liquor cabinet and poured them both some vintage apple champagne.
Rainbow was already drooling at seeing the bottle alone. The stuff was really expensive. The kind only Princesses and lower royals, or Captains usually received as gifts from equally high ranking members of society.
Rainbow took a quick sip to calm her nerves. Spitfire did the same. "Listen Crash, you've been with the Bolts for some time now; you've already been promoted twice, much faster than any new recruit in the history of the Bolts; thanks a lot in the part you played fighting that 'League of villains."
Rainbow couldn't help but smirk, then took a bigger sip, her nervousness not allowing her to enjoy the praise or the drink, and prepared for whatever doom was going to drop.
Spitfire continued. "And in all that time, however short it's been, it's come to my attention that you aren't reciprocating any and all affection the other Bolts have offered you; so I want to know why you're giving the team nothing but cold withers." Spitfire took a bigger sip.
"What? No, I love my team, I love everypony in the Bolts; I know I don't show it, but I really do love all you guys!" Rainbow got up and defended, then calmed. "You guys are my dream, and I'm so grateful and privileged to be a part of it; and I'll do anything to stay, whatever I've done wrong, tell me what to do and I'll do it!"
Spitfire nodded. "Okay, good, start mating with the team." She returned to her desk and started on paperwork.
Rainbow stayed frozen and staring at the empty space where Spitfire used to be. "Uh what, what, whoa, whoa, WHOA!" She flourished her hooves. "What do you mean 'mate with the team'?"
Spitfire methodically unclicked her pen, and placed it back into it's holder before cupping her hooves below her chin. "It means mate with the team. Soarin and Thunderlane have both been making passes at you for weeks," she began counting on her hoof. "Misty wants to give you happy endings after a rub down, and I think Fleetfoot wants you to join in with her and the boys once in a while; and yet you never so much as give them a backrub; much less a hoofjob.
"I admire that you're always the first pony in the sky, but you're also the first on the ground too; which we can forgive, given your royal duties to Princess Twilight."
Rainbow looked shocked. "You're saying words I understand, but you're saying them in an order that I don't understand; you're insane; is this some kind of joke, rutting my team mates!" Rainbow shouted, letting her anger get the better of her.
"Stand down, Crash!" Spitfire barked at her.
Rainbow plopped down in a chair while puffing out her cheeks, and crossing her hooves. Her temper tantrum didn't last, and started sniffing. Her eyes sparking with tears. "I don't want to, please don't make me, I wanna stay in the Bolts, but I don't understand why this is happening!"
Spitfire reverted back to her gentle feminine voice, and went to comfort her with a hoof. "No pony makes anypony do anything around her, Rainbow, I'll talk to the other Bolts and tell them that you aren't interested in upholding our traditions."
Rainbow sniffed, looking confused. "Traditions, what Traditions?" She questioned.
"You mean, you don't know?" Spitfire cocked her head quizzically.
Rainbow hung her head. "No, please, I'm so confused and I don't know what's going on; I thought you were mad at me for not showering with Soarin, and now you're saying I should mate with the Bolts, I dont understand what's happening." She sniffed.
Spitfire looked at her in disbelief. "Rainbow, you really don't know about the Wonderbolt's mating culture?"
"Mating culture?" Rainbow repeated like she tasted something bad.
Spitfire chuffed and shook her head. "It's the worst kept secret about the Wonderbolts; you mean you've never heard anyone in public teasing us about how 'our stallions ride us mares as hard as they ride each other?'"
Rainbow made a disgusted face. "Yeah, I heard that one, it made me mad; but my friends Fluttershy and Rarity said I should ignore it, because there's always going to be fans that say nasty things that aren't true."
Spitfire paused at her, witnessing Rainbow come to the revelation on her own. "Oh buck, it is true isn't it!" She wailed, grasping her temples as her mind was blown. She knew the others were up to some weird stuff in the showers, but she always chose to ignore it as teasing and playfulness.
Spitfire leveled a look at her. "I refuse to believe that you never noticed anypony getting intimate in the showers."
Rainbow puffed up. "Well, like you said, I got royal Princess stuff after shows, photo-ops, signatures, and practice; and yeah I kind of noticed how, uh, 'friendly' everypony is with each other; but, you know, I thought they were just teasing!"
Spitfire pinched her eyes and sighed.
"I didn't know this was such a big deal, how was I supposed to know this was such a big deal!" Rainbow exasperated.
Spitfire held out her hooves. "It's not a big deal, Dash."
"I just don't look at them that way."
"So do you not think any of the Bolts are attractive?"
"No! I mean yes; I mean that, I think everypony on the team is objectively attractive; but..." She hesitated.
"Is okay, Dash, we're just friends figuring things out." Spitfire reassured.
Spitfire explained. "The traditions are so old now, we probably should consider abolishing it, or at least amending it for pony's not comfortable with the taboo."
"It's that old?"
"You should have figured it out on your own during the history if the wonderbolts exam."
"Yeah... I doubt my friends would've reenacted that part for me to study."
"When the Bolts were first established, all the members were derived from the very best, of the best among the Pegasi Legion, dating way back before recorded history, before the days of Commander Hurricane, before the Protective Pony Platoons were ever established.
"What many ponies today still tease us over, and our worst kept secret, is that we still practice the many millennia old tradition of mating for the purpose of camaraderie and trust building. Because according to some lost-to-time Legion Commander thousands of years ago, 'a army that sleeps together, wins together'.
"So it was allowed that members of a Legion would openly mate with one another. And that's a large part of why the Pegasi Legions were so successful in battle; everypony fought harder to protect each other and defeat the enemy; it was incredibly effective; that was before transmissible diseases from outside the Legion went rampant.
"It was later abolished and made redundantly illegal, given the PPP and EUP guard mostly dissolved the Legions, so most ponies served under Celestia. But there was a loop-hole left open in the treaties, which allowed the Wonderbolts to continue the practice."
"Whoa, so, it's like a team exercise, huh?" Rainbow suggested. "Like building trust together?"
Spitfire nodded along. "Yes, I know we don't get deployed to fight very often, but we fight harder than any Flock of Pegasi in the sky, and it's because of those strong bonds we create with each other that make us so effective in battle, just like our ancestors before us."
"Whoa, I didn't know it was such a big deal."
"It's not, a thousand years of peace will do that, but like I said before, it's probably time to end it; you won't be punished if you choose not to participate, but the squad will be pretty disappointed."
Rainbow remembered her cider and took a few good gulps. "Thanks Captain, I don't feel like I'm going to implode anymore." She chuffed. "I don't want to be the one that ends the tradition, and I really don't want to let the Bolts down, but I'm kinda nervous... You sure they won't hate me if I say no?"
"Of course not, Dashie, you're part of the team, we love having you here, and like I said, I'll talk to them, they'll understand and they won't pressure you anymore; not that you ever noticed the pressure to begin with." She added with a chuckle.
"Hey!" Rainbow smirked.
"But since we're still talking mare to mare, allow me to twist your hoof a bit and ask that you consider giving the tradition a chance?"
Rainbow fidgeted in her seat. "Does it have to be with the whole team; I've never done anything like this before?"
Spitfire blinked at her. "You mean, you're a maiden mare?"
Rainbow pinned her ears back in shame.
"Sorry, Rainbow, there's nothing to be ashamed of; generally recruits already have some experience given who we are and our career path; if you want my advice, you should make your first time special."
Rainbow fidgeted and made a big grin. "Well, I don't see how losing my maidenhood to the Wonderbolts wouldn't be the most special thing ever; I meant what I said, I love all you guys, but I've never really thought of the Bolts that way."
Spitfire looked surprised. "Really? That's like every colt's and filly's wet dream at one point or another."
"Well yeah!" Rainbow rolled her eyes. "I've clopped off more than a few times to Wind Rider's October photo of 974, you know, before all that mess at the Gala..." She sighed and winced in regret.
Spitfire sighed with her. "At least you didn't actually mate with him."
"YOU AND- oh, right, mating culture, sorry." Rainbow smiled sheepishly under Spitfire's deadpan glare.
"Yeah, that makes his betrayal hit all the harder." Spitfire leaned back in her chair. "Still, Rainbow, it's just one of the many reasons we've been looking forward to having you on the team."
"In what way?" Rainbow asked suspiciously.
"In every sense of the word, you're a catch Rainbow!"
Rainbow pumped a hoof in the air and did a little dance while singing. "Awe yeah, the Wonderbolts think I'm sexy, and they want me, oh yeah, uh-huh, they wanna buck me!" She stopped cold. "They wanna buck me, but I've never been bucked; what am I gonna do!"
"Want my advice, since you love us so much, just pick one." Spitfire suggested.
Rainbow searched her expression. "Just like that? Just pick one of our teamma-uh; I can't even say it!"
"Well, better get used to saying it," Spitfire sighed. "No, sorry, you're within your rights in feeling hesitant, but Rainbow, just know they were really looking forward to being with you."
"I don't know..." Rainbow gulped down the rest of her drink. "I think I can try a little harder when they ask, but I'm not sure what they want me to do?"
"That's completely up to you, and the pony, or ponies, you're with. Fast or slow, just keep in mind that whenever a Bolt offers, they're offering because they like you, and they want to get to know you better."
Rainbow Dash felt her cheeks heat. The idea of touching the Bolts, her team-muhs- comrades. She was okay with hugs, heck she gave them out like free candy to the ponies she was most comfortable with. But... this.
"Okay, I'll try. That's about all I can promise for right now, and I need time to process all this."
Spitfire finished her drink too. "Of course, you have permission to go home instead of staying in the barracks, if it'll help."
"That's okay, I said I'd start trying harder, I can't do that if I'm at home, can I?"
Spitfire smile. "That's the spirit, you're dismissed."
Rainbow made to leave, but hesitated. "Wait, when you said all of the Bolts was wanting to mate with me, does that mean you too?!"
Spitfire shot a wolfish grin, before putting her aviator glasses back on, frowning. "I said you're dismissed, Crash!" She said, going back to her drill sergeant voice.
Rainbow snapped to attention and left. "Yes, ma'am!"
Author's Note
Not happy with this first chapter, started strong and kind of blundered in thr middle. I wanted it to be more concise and comical, but ended up making RD cry. But I figure she'd be pretty upset given the situation. And I want to ease her into things, plus her character can't either be a horny jock type that wouldn't hesitate at mating, or she's just full of bluster. Which given how she gets cripplingly anxious in the show, I figure it's that latter over the former.
This is open to editing, if anyone wants to help improve it.
Rainbow rushed back to the showers, hoping to remedy the situation with her teamma- comrades.
'Oh buck, what am I gonna do!? I can't believe I never noticed!'
It was so obvious to her now. All the offers. All the times they were nicer to her. Not using their nicknames at weird times. The giggles and moans.
She was so used to brushing off other pony's attention, because she always got so much of it. From her parents pouring all their love into their only child, to ponies she helped and called her a hero, not just of Equestria but also that Mare-do-well incident, and of course her fans... and her biggest fans, and the extra big-weirdo-stalker fans.
"Ugh, I gotta make it up to them, but how!?" She screeched to a halt at the locker room doors and took a breath. "Calm down, Rainbow, remember what Spitfire said, they practically want you as much as you want them."
She made to open the door, then stopped and pranced in excitement. Covering her mouth, she squealed quietly. "Ahh, I'm gonna have sex with the Wonderbolts!"
"Phew, okay, okay, let's do this." After a few hoof-pumps and a little dance, she composed herself and went inside with an extra swagger in her step. Her expression teetered the line between lewd and lecherous, though she was going for 'cool' and easy-going, as she considered the eye candy before her.
Rainbow always thought in the back of her mind that the Wonderbolts were so hot and sexy. But because of practice and professionalism, she always locked away her desires and fantasies in order to remain professional. It eventually became second nature to her. Now all of her repressed urges came flooding forth in an unfiltered wave.
Thunderlane's coat was so black and shiny, the light highlighting the cuts in his muscles. He was built like an Earth Pony, and had a large frame and cock to match. Rainbow swallowed hard seeing the huge black member and nuts casually hanging out as he chatted with Surprise, while reared up and doing stretches on the wall.
Rainbow dashed over and pointed her wing pistols at him. "Sup, Blunder, gotta be honest, that's a nice hefty package ya got there, no wonder you're kind of slow, let me know if you need help with that!" Surprise and him looked flabbergasted.
"Hey Surprise, what do you say we have a 'party' later, if ya know what I mean?" She wiggled her eyebrows at the uncomfortable mare while invading her personal space.
Fleetfoot and Misty Fly were doing their post-practice yoga stretches. Their teats and slits occasionally being exposed as they spread their hindlegs, along with the cuts in their muscles. Rainbow always admired their incredibly fit, flexibile figures. Like herself, they had barely an ounce of fat between them, except for Vapor Trail, her rump was visibly larger, but that's probably more the fact she was the newest member.
Rainbow rushed over to them. "Hey ladies, I heard the best position for the boys is this!" She planted her face down on the mat, and raised her flanks as high as she could, showing off her own dexterity. "Aren't I so kind letting the boys see us like this?" She flagged her tail, making everyponys jaw drop.
The twins Fire Streak and Lighting Streak were watching the scene with Vapor Trail, their mouths all agape. Rainbow gasped at the idea of the ultimate filly fantasy. She mentally berated herself, now knowing she could've been indulging in lewd acts with the pair of twin stallions.
'Man, I bet Vapor and them just got done doing stuff!'
Rainbow used her wings zipped to them. "Hey guys, ya know, in an endurance race it's a vital strategy to fly within another pony's wake to cut down on wind resistance, like this!" She dipped down behind Vapor Trail's rump, her snout between her legs, seeing Vapors sizable teats. "Ya gotta get way up in there like this, see? Aren't I generous for showing you my secret moves?"
Vapor Trail shied away, tucking her tail between her legs. "SexuAL HARRASMENT!" She screamed little more than what Fluttershy is capable of.
Rainbow Dash's face fell, and she began to notice all the pony's frowning at her.
Soarin trotted from the around the wall with the lockers. "What the hay, Crash!?"
Rainbow found herself before Spitfire in her office again. She was pointedly looking at her hooves instead of the angry yellow mare staring daggers into her from behind the desk.
Spitfire was tapping a hoof on her desk with Soarin sitting beside her with his arms crossed.
Spitfire said. "Two minutes, Crash, not even two minutes since we spoke, and already I've receive complaints from half the team about you making unwanted sexual remarks, unwanted contact and harrasment, explain yourself!"
Rainbow Dash felt every word as if it were a blow to her soul. "I'm so sorry, I- I don't know what else to say, I just wanted to make it up to the team with how I've been ignoring them, somehow; I thought I knew how to do this, but I'm hopeless, I don't know how to-" She paused and glanced at Soarin.
Spitfire and Soarin looked at each other. And both sighed tiredly.
Spitfire reassured her. "It's okay, Dash, we're just friends figuring things out with you."
Rainbow hugged herself. "I thought if I just winged it, I'd figure things out as I go, like I always do; but you know I've never done this sort of thing before; I'm just not sure what to do."
"You can start by apologizing to the Bolts, I'll talk to Vapor, I'm sure she'll understand, but Dash, you need to understand that just because you're a maiden mare and her senior in rank doesn't mean you can do whatever you like without consent. Thats not how we do things here." Said Spitfire.
Rainbow answered quickly. "Of course not! I mean of course, I mean, I'll always be sure to get a pony's consent first, mam!"
Soarin then said. "Oh, so all that was because you're a maiden? All this time I thought I was getting too old for the pretty young mares." He chuckled.
Spitfire's snout scrunched before she realized she just broke filly-code, and shot him a disapproving look, while Rainbow blushed.
Spitfire grumbled placing a hoof on her temple. "I'll put this fire out, with Vapor Trail, you go with her and make sure she apologizes to the whole team; and Soarin... just be a good role model. " She sighed tiredly.
"You got it, boss." He chuckled, both knowing he and the other guys would never pass up this opportunity.
Soarin cleared his throat as they trotted toward the mess hall. "So Dash, you've really never mated with anypony before?" He asked curiously.
Rainbow felt her hair stand on end. "No." She mumbled, expecting to be laughed at and teased.
"Hey, if you're ever having trouble with anything, you can always 'come' to me with your problems; I'm a captain too, you know?"
Rainbow sighed, feeling disappointed in herself. "I know, but I'm not sure if you can help me with this."
Soarin chuckled, his head shaking. "Wow, Crash, no wonder you're still a maiden, you're totally deaf to innuendo and double-speak."
"Inu-what-doh?"
Soarin guffawed, his face burying into his shoulder. "I'm trying to mate with you, Crash." He said bluntly between laughs.
Rainbow stared at him with mouth agape in shock, a blush deepening on her cheeks. "Ho-I-uh-I don't, heh, hazziblah, whaaaat?" She babbled and shook herself.
He offered. "We've got time before dinner, we could make a 'dash' to my office, if you want."
Rainbow couldn't hide her discomfort. She felt it would be weird giving one pony that much attention before she even apologized to the others. "Thanks, but I need to make up with the rest of the team first, but maybe we could once I get used to this sort of thing?" She looked up to him expectantly, and felt guilty after he looked disappointed.
Soarin deflated a little and sighed in acceptance. "That's okay, at least I know why you haven't responded to any of my advances, you're very pretty Dashie, I was starting to think you didnt like me, but when the others came forward about it too, then I knew it wasn't just me."
Rainbow blushed. "I'm so sorry, Clipper, I promise I'll make it up to you, I just wish I knew how."
Soarin looked around innocently. "Well... there is one thing you could do, it's fine if you want to wait before you lose your maidenhood, but maybe I could be your first kiss instead?" He finished, wearing a cocky grin.
Rainbow stopped and looked at him in a new way for the first time. She crushed on him in the past. Even had a few fantasies with his posters and photos. He was a captain in the Wonderbolts, one of the greatest flyers alive. He was seversl years her senior, but he still had that same sexy charm. The subtle bags under his eyes were beginning to show his age, but he was still a stallion at the peak of his prime.
He was Soarin. And she was Rainbow Dash, a Senior wingpony on his team, and she wanted to kiss him.
With a small nod she accepted. Her heart raced as he closed the distance, never taking those mature eyes off her.
She went in and pecked the tip of his snout, thinking that was enough.
Soarin's voice rumbled a throaty barritone that she felt in her chest. "Awe, cmon, Crash, you can do better than that, you're not some rookie, are you?" He teased and attempted to kiss her again, allowing her the chance to accept.
So Rainbow did what she always does, and dove right in to figure things out later.
She closed mouth kissed him, scrunched against his lips, pinning Soarin against the wall. Even he was surprised by her sudden ferocity. But she made herself immediately and very obviously inexperienced. He pushed back and teased open her mouth, to get a taste of her we tongue and lips.
Rainbows eyes were squinted shut, but after feeling him brushing against her mouth, she was a little grossed out, but decided to relax and let him take the kiss she owed him. Her jaw relaxed and tried not to think about gagging as his wet muscle began to brush against her own tongue.
Soarin felt her relaxing and cradled Rainbow's head in his wings while caressing her cheeks with his hooves. Taking a slow, methodical approach, until he was sure Rainbow was ready for more.
Rainbow never realized how big and dominating a guy can be. She felt warm and safe in his embrace, the touch of his tongue against her smaller one made her tummy flutter and legs feel weak.
He would suckle on her lips and tongue deep into her mouth. She never expected to like this so much, and when he let go, and she dropped back to all fours, it was already over before she realized.
"W-whoa." Rainbow felt herself floating on air, unable to tell if she was swaying herself, or just trying to stay on four legs.
"Yeah, 'whoa' is right." Soarin chuckled. "Let me know when you want me to kiss your 'other' lips." He trotted and lead the way to the mess hall.
Her brain was fried, but she was happy. She wanted to tuck her tail, but instead it just raised higher. There was a cold wetness forming beneath her tail, and was going to need another shower before bed.
But despite all that, Rainbow Dash was beaming happily. Because she kissed a Wonderbolt, and she liked it.
Author's Note
Wanted this to be like that one part where Rainbow acts like all the other MANE 6. Wanted to make up names for her, but couldn't come up with clever ones for the situation.
Rainbow was pretty nervous going to the mess hall with Soarin, where all the Wonderbolts would be eating supper before leisure time, and then bed time.
She was still dealing with the floaty and buzzy feelings after her kiss with Soarin in the hallway. Her tail just wouldn't go down, the cool wetness back there became a sticky spot she wanted to deal with, and her clit was half-swollen and on the verge of winking like mad.
Soarin made his intentions clear to her, but
she wasn't sure what the others expected of her. Rainbow kept thinking about his offer. If she wanted, she could lose her maidenhood tonight with the most awesome stallion she knew. But that didn't seem right to her, she had to make up with some of the other Bolts first, at least.
Entering the mess hall, Rainbow looked around at her team- comrades and all those confused, burning needs and feelings were replaced by a tidal wave of dread.
Saorin hoof-stomped to get their attention.
"Listen up and at ease everypony, Rainbow has something she needs to say." He beckoned her to speak, while all of the present Wonderbolts sat in two lines.
The stallions all sat on the left. Sun Chaser, Silver Zoom, Thunderlane, the twins Fire Streak and Lighting Streak. The mare's sat on the right. Blaze, Misty Fly, Fleetfoot, High Winds, and Surprise.
Rainbow felt like shrinking into herself, seeing them all staring at her with neutral expressions. Some she interpreted to be mad at her, but took a breath and stepped forward to speak. "I'm so sorry, everypony, I - umh- I just found out about the Wonderbolt's mating culture secret."
The others wore expressions with varying degrees of surprise, bafflement, and disbelief.
Fleetfoot's hooves crossed over her chest. "So you thought that meant you could lewd us however you wanted? Vapor Trail was pretty upset."
Rainbow flinched. "N- No I was trying to make it up to you guys for all the times I ignored you; I never knew that was the reason you were all giving me so much attention after practice and shows."
They looked unconvinced.
High Winds asked. "So you're saying you never knew what we were up to in the showers after practice? I find that hard to believe."
Rainbow hung her head. Even she knew how ridiculous it sounded, but she was so focused on getting to her friends. And she didn't always shower after practice. She could fly through some clouds for that.
Soarin stepped in. "It's true everypony. Spitfire and I confirmed it; Rainbow Dash has a... a more innocent view of the Wonderbolts; you should tell them everything."
The others seemed to consider that. A sense of relief parted the tension in the air.
Rainbow took a breath and released it. She told them all of what she, Spitfire, and Soarin now knew. That she was just that busy, but still loved and respected her comrades to the point she viewed them as professional work-friends.
Rainbow stood straighter. "B-but not anymore, I promise to do better. From now on, I'll be a better team- mate?" Her voice cracked at the end.
"Because the truth is, I never thought I'd have a chance with any of you. All of you are so awesome, and cool, and hot, and I'm. .. the truth is... the truth... it's because I'm a maiden mare, and I've never done stuff like that." She finished quickly, expecting and wanting the inevitably teasing to be over quickly.
"Are. you. serious? You really are still a maiden?" Blaze asked in disbelief.
Rainbow nodded her head.
Then the laughing started, a cacophony of chatter erupted, and Bits were passed around while sighs of disappointment and chuckles of joy were barked.
"I don't believe it, I lost!"
"Well that explains everything."
"She was always so full of bluster."
"I thought maybe she had a special somepony."
"Pay up, boys."
"I thought maybe she had higher standards."
"We're the Bolts, we're as high as it gets."
"I shouldn't have bet she had a groundbound nest fellow."
"I knew it, because the fillys can't ignore these bad boys for long." Thunder kicked out a leg, showing off his large, ripe nuts.
In the end, Fleetfoot was holding a hefty sack of Bits and distributed some to Thunderlane. "Here's your cut, boss." She winged some over to Soarin.
Spitfire and Vapor Trail entered the mess hall just then. "Oh good, the pool is over."
Rainbow looked appalled. "You guys bet on whether or not I was a maiden!?"
Soarin shrugged. "I mean, you did ignore all our advances for months, Dash, can you really blame us for having a little fun with it?"
"Crash, you got something to say to her." Spitfire's head cocked towards Vapor.
Rainbow lost a bit of confidence, and started to mumble her apologies. "Vapor, I didn't mean to make you feel bad, I was being stupid and didn't know what I was doing, I'm sorry."
Vapor Trail nodded. "It's okay, Crashie, I know how it feels to be that nervous when talking to ponies you like in that way."
Fleetfoot came up and gave Vapor Trail a sack of Bits.
Rainbow was stunned. "H-how, why, w-whah..." Her eye twitched.
"It takes one, to know one." She winked and smiled cheerily, then joined the others as they dispersed.
Rainbow then started to chuckle before it turned into a full belly laugh, knowing they forgave her, in their own Wonderbolt way.
She wiped joyful tears from her eyes. "You guys are so awesome, I meant what I said, I'm gonna start paying more attention to you guys."
"So who's the lucky pony that gets the honor of being your first?" Silver Zoom asked suggestively, wiggling his brows.
Rainbow Dash blanched and tried to swallow the knot in her throat. It was hard to ignore the shift in tone. It felt like everypony expected her to blurt one of their names. It was obvious to her, they all wanted the honor.
Spitfire spoke up in her drill pony voice. "Let's drop that and get some supper, then off to bed; everypony needs to decompress after training and everything. I'm instigating a lockdown on all 'trust building' for the rest of tonight and tomorrow morning; and if anypony pressures another pony into doing anything they aren't comfortable with, well, getting kicked out of the Bolts will be the least of your worries."
While everypony murmured agreements, but Rainbow's head was buzzing with the question. "Who should she pick to be her first?" When she had only one first time to give, and a whole lot to make up for?
Author's Note
I could've kept this chapter going and awhile there it felt never ending. But it has to end somewhere so questions can be explored in a more appropriate setting.
