My Little Pony: The Draconic Sister - Reboot

"Smolder, why didn't you get on Sweetie Belle's case for the whole situation with Fluttershy's chicken?" Spike said.

"Because Fluttershy sort of did my job for me." Smolder said. "And yes, I was overhead keeping an eye on her and her friends." She added.

"So...where are they right now?" Spike asked.

"With Applejack. Past that, I have no idea..." Smolder said.

Meanwhile Applejack was about to lean on her old clubhouse when suddenly, she spotted a snake slithering up the tree. "SNAKE!" Applejack shouted before running down from the tree with the crusaders in tow. "GET BACK YOU RASCALLY VARMIT!" Applejack said.

"Wondered where you took those three." White Flame said as he showed up. "Some old clubhouse? Your lucky Carol appeared and spooked you; you were likely to fall through a wall of it or something to that effect." Whie Flame said as the snake slithered over to him. "And Carol, you should really stop spooking other ponies like that." He added.

"...You have a pet snake?" Applejack said. Suddenly Carol bit one of White Flame's hoofs as it wrapped around the colt, causing Applejack to scream. "LAND'S SAKE, AH GOTTA GET YOU TO A DOCTOR RIGHT AWAY!" Applejack yelled.

White Flame chuckled; looking no worse for wear. "Your not the first pony to think that about Carol: She's a coral snake, they aren't poisonous." The colt said. "My uncle has a saying about them and their look-alikes about their red spots: Red touch yellow, stay away fellow; red touch black, safe for jack." He added.

Carol extended her body to show that her red spots touched black. "...Oh..." Applejack admitted. "Still, your little critter scared the hay out of me." She admitted.

"Carol does that to a lot of ponies; not the first time she's done so. Heck, even others who know she's not poisonous tend to get spooked by a sudden appearance of a snake." White Flame said.

"That is so cool how you have a pet snake though." Scootaloo said.

"She technically belongs to my uncle, but Carol tends to follow me around more." White Flame said. "She's probably scared of the fire my uncle uses to make bits for the equestrian minting process." He guessed.

"Your uncle helps make more money?" Apple Bloom asked, to which White Flame nodded. "That's very nifty~" The filly said.

"So what are you doing here anyways?" Sweetie Belle asked.

"Figured I'd come by and see how you three were doing. Now I'm going to help you fix this clubhouse up." White Flame said.

When Scootaloo returned a bit later as the group fixed the clubhouse up, she ran over Carol, splitting of the snake's tail by accident.

"...I am so dead..." Scootaloo noted before White Flame showed up. "White Flame, I am so sorry I--" The pegasus tried to say.

"Carol, what have I told you about being in the middle of the road before?" White Flame asked as Carol slithered over to him and wrapped around him again. "That's the fifth time this year you've lost your tail." The colt added.

"...Bwah?" Scootaloo was confused.

"Don't worry about Carol; snakes regrow their lost parts over time so Carol will be good as new in a couple of weeks. This isn't the first time she's lost her tail due to being run over by a passerby." White Flame said.

"Dang...I'm still sorry that I run her over." Scootaloo said.

"It's fine. It's not the first time she's gotten run over like I said. She really needs to learn to stay out of the middle of roads." White Flame said.

The group found Sweetie Belle soon enough. "So White Flame, was there something you had in mind for a crusade maybe?" Apple Bloom asked.

"Actually, now that Sweetie Belle is around, I might as well tell you: The school's doing a talent show, and Button Mash is entering as a contestant. He's got something planned to show off for Sweetie Belle." White Flame said. "Can't say what, he swore me to secrecy, but I noticed Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon off in the background behind him when he told me. Those two are planning to sabotage Button Mash's surprise for Sweetie Belle." He said.

"We can't let them do that! Not after Button Mash worked so hard to impress me." Sweetie Belle said, jumping at this.

"Oh don't worry, I got a plan~" White Flame said.

Later that week, the talent show was underway, and when Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon went to sabotage Button Mash, suddenly, they were approuched by something reptillian. "SNAKE!" They both yelled and ran from behind the stage, making it known they were trying to do some sabotoging. And then out came Carol behind them which curled around White Flame.

"That's a coral snake you two, it's harmless." Cheerilee said. "But I know two fillies who are herby disqualified." She added.

"YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!" Diamond Tiara said.

White Flame just pet his pet snake. "Good girl, Carol." White Flame said.

Safe to say, Sweetie Belle was very impressed by Button Mash's surprise so much, the two now had plans for the next weekend.

Meanwhile though...

"Can't believe that colt White Flame has a snake for a pet." Diamond Tiara said.

"But how on earth did he know we were going to sabotoge Button Mash and embarrass him so Sweetie Belle would have nothing to do with him?" Silver Spoon asked. Suddenly Carol showed up.

"SNAKE!" The two fillies said before running home.

"Oh for the love of...I didn't want you to scare them twice in the same night, Carol." White Flame said.

"They kind of deserve it though for trying to be mean bullies." Scootaloo said.

"I hear you." A male voice said. Suddenly a male pegasus colt showed up. "Couldn't help but notice your friends with White Flame. Well any friend of his is a friend of mine." The colt said.

"Oh hey Rumble. This is one of Apple Bloom's friends Scootaloo that I told you about." White Flame said.

"Well I think she's gonna be cool to hang out with. See you around Scootaloo." Rumble said before leaving.

"...Ba-dum..." Scootaloo said simply.
