My Little Pony: The Draconic Sister - Reboot

"So, looks like Pinkie Pie might be busy for a little while." Smolder said as she and Spike exited the hospital with the mane 6 minus Pinkie Pie who had all gone to see the new babies of Mr. and Mrs. Cake.

"What makes you say that?" Spike asked.

"C'mon, you saw what she was doing." Smolder said.

"Oh. Oh I see. Heh. Yeah. She's probably going to think that she can just play with those two new foals like it's nothing special." Spike said. "...I wonder what's going to make her realize that babysitting is nothing like what she's expecting it to be?" He asked.

"Wait you know?" Rarity asked.

"Twilight's got pictures of the times she was helping Celestia out with me when I was little." Spike said.

"Boy, did you have it easy having Celestia raise you. I had to help raise Sweetie Belle and while I didn't like it at first, over time, what else can I say besides the fact that she grew on me?" Smolder asked.

"Especially considering how often you've gone out of your way to say how much you thought she'd replace you fully in Rarity's eyes when that was never the case." Spike said.

"Ha! Way too true." Smolder said. "By the way Rarity, you may think you can hide it, but I'm certain I heard you and Fancy Pants downstairs last night." She added.

"Wh--SMOLDER!" Rarity said, blushing.

"Oh please, like you probably haven't overheard me and Spike upstairs from time to time." Smolder said.

"SMOLDER, I AM WARNING YOU!" Rarity said.

"I mean don't even get me started on--" Smolder started before Rarity suddenly bucked her into the sky. "WOOOOORRRRRRTTTTTHHH IIIIIIITTTT!" Smolder yelled out as she was sent flying.

"...Looks like Smolder is staying over for the next few days again." Spike said.

"As Big Mac would say, 'Eeyep'." Twilight said.

"...That was a surprisingly a good impression." Applejack admitted.

The next day as Smolder was staying over at the library due to her teasing of Rarity, the two dragons had no idea that later the same day, Pinkie Pie would be babysitting the cake twins. Regardless, in the middle of the day, Twilight answered the door, and found Derpy with a package. "Oh, isn't this rather late in the day for a package?" Twilight asked.

"Special Priority delivery. Besides, this is going to be my last ever package delivery. I'm going to be moving to Canterlot in a couple of days. I already applied for my two weeks' notice some time ago." Derpy said.

"Something come up that would require you to move there of all places?" Twilight asked.

"Well Dinky's father finally found me, and I want to make sure I don't lose him. Again." Derpy said.

"I'm sure Ponyville will miss it's delivery pony." Twilight said.

"Makes me wonder who the father is." Spike asked.

"He made me promise to never tell you or Twilight. Don't know why, but I feel like it's personal so I won't pry." Derpy said.

"...Makes me wonder who it could be..." Spike said before taking the package inside.

"So, what's in the pacakge?" Smolder asked.

"My surprise." Spike said before unwrapping it, revealing the Fire Ruby which was fastened into some kind of necklace. Spike then put it around Smolder's neck. "There we go. Told you it'd be worth the wait." Spike said.

"You mean, you seriously had the Fire Ruby fashioned into a necklace, just to give to me?" Smolder asked.

"Well, I may not have known it's rarity, but I can't think of anything else I'd rather do with it." Spike said.

"...YOU. ME. UPSTAIRS. NOW!" Smolder said before dragging Spike upstairs and closing the door.

"...Guess I'm sleeping downstairs tonight. Not that I'm blaming Smolder for this. I'm sure one day, Spike's going to do the same exact thing. Things are getting REALLY serious with Flash Sentry after all." Twilight said.

A few days later, Rainbow Dash had to be checked into the hospital for injuring herself during one of her flights. And while she was initially not wanting to read, she relented at reading the Daring Do series and found herself enjoying them. One day, as she was about to read another book, Soarin decided to drop by.

"Did you get a day off or something?" Rainbow Dash asked the Wonderbolt.

"Yeah. And then when I asked Twilight where you were, she told me everything. Heh. Reminds me of one time I injured myself during Wonderbolt practice and also another member too. I never told you this, and I specifically told the doctors I wanted us alone so I could tell you this, but every wonderbolt has their own nickname. But it's not meant as something to be awesome, it's meant to humble us. My nickname for instance, is Clipper due to that whole incident I just mentioned." Soarin said. "...It's something to make sure we remember that even we, the wonderbolts, aren't perfect." He added.

"I see..." Rainbow Dash said.

"And from what I understand, you took a major crash landing. So I was wondering if it would be--" Soarin was about to say.

"Before you even say it; as I'm sure I know exactly what you're about to say; you should know, when I was called that name, it was done by some mean Pegasuses..." Rainbow Dash said.

"Pegasi." Soarin corrected.

"...Thought Twilight was the only one who did that. Regardless there were these mean Pegasi who would constantly tease me for crashing into the stadium during a race against them by calling me Rainbow Crash." Rainbow Dash said.

"Oh. I see." Soarin said. "That was done out of malice, and I can see there's some history there that you may end up being reminded of in that case." Soarin said.

"...You know what? No. You took the time out of your off-day to come see me. That means more then you could ever know 'Clipper'. So, if you want to call me 'Crash' just because you're used to that sort of thing? Just...try not to do it around my friends okay? Fluttershy would unleash fury upon you because of it otherwise, and that's far WORSE than anything I could do to you." Rainbow Dash said.

"...Heh. Fine. Geez, it's always the quiet ones huh?" Soarin asked.

"You have no idea Soarin. Trust me on that one." Rainbow Dash said.

"...Yeah, I have a feeling." Soarin said.

"I mean it though. I'll remember this." Rainbow Dash said. "So, I owe you for this." She added.

"...By the way, seems you're into Daring Do. I see the book. I actually like it too." Soarin said.

"Guess it's perfect for us huh?" Rainbow Dash said before giving Soarin a kiss on the cheek. "...Now you better get going." She added.

"...Yeah." Soarin said before leaving. Though afterwards, he was practically giddy as can be.
