Discord was currently looking at some kind of book when suddenly Smolder landed on top of him.

"OOF!" Smolder said. "...Hi again Discord." Smolder said before she got off of the Draconequus.

"Smolder. Mind telling me what caused you to come flying out of Rarity's house?" Disocrd said. "It's my first time back in Ponyville since your migration so I'm afraid I'm not up to date on current events." He said.

"Well my adoptive sister Rarity has started dating Fancy Pants of all ponies and I decided to tease her about it for all the teasing she gave me with Spike. Safe to say, she can't take payback very well." Smolder said.

"...Wait back up. Did you just say Rarity is dating Fancy Pants?" Discord asked.

"That is what I said yes. Why, is something wrong?" Smolder asked. Suddenly Discord shattered himself into a million pieces again. "...I'm grabbing Twilight." The orange dragoness said.

Some time later in Fluttershy's house, Discord had put himself back together.

"Um...hi." Fluttershy said.

"...Thought Smolder said she'd get Twilight." Discord noted.

"Um...well, she did. But because Twilight is going on a date with Flash Sentry you were dropped of here by the two of them." Fluttershy said.

"...Wait Twilight is going on a date with Flash Sentry?" Discord asked.

"Um...yes. That's right." Fluttershy said. Suddenly Discord broke into a million pieces again. "Oh dear. I suppose this is what happens when you haven't been checking up on the rest of us. I mean, between White Flame being a thing, most of my friends already mostly having a special some pony in their life, you've clearly missed a lot." Fluttershy said.

"White Flame? That's a name I haven't heard before." Discord said after putting himself back together. Suddenly White Flame entered and returned some bird seed.

"Thanks for the loan Fluttershy, but the bird feeding cutie mark the CMC were trying to do...well it didn't work out." White Flame said.

"Oh. Well that's fine. Did the girls get covered in tree sap?" Fluttershy asked.

"Nope. Shield spells, remember? I better get back." White Flame said and then left.

"Whoa whoa whao, do you know who that WAS?!" Discord exclaimed.

"Kind of. I mean, he told us about who he used to be and all but that's not him anymore." Fluttershy said. "He's White Flame now." Fluttershy said.

"BUT IT'S GARETH! If you knew the kind of madness he's capble of, then you'd avoid him like the plauge. Zanth cannot be trusted." Discord said.

"Um...except something apperently happened and now Gareth AKA White Flame is a seperate entity from Zanth." Fluttershy said.

"Wait what?" Discord said. "How much have I missed?" He asked.

It took the entire rest of the day, but Fluttershy was able to catch Discord up on current events.

"...Woof. And I thought the fact that Smolder being around Spike this early on was already chaotic as it was. But now all of this?" Discord said. "Clearly, I shouldn't be leaving for such long periods of time. Otherwise, I'll miss more chaotic changes." He asked.

"Well you can always stay at my place. I don't mind. Just so long as you keep your chaos to a minimum I don't mind." Fluttershy said.

"Well I won't need to cause Chaos at this point. White Flame's existance in this world seperate from Zanth is already bound to cause major levels of chaos. Seriously, you DON'T realize what kind of danger Zanth is." Discord said.

"White Flame just discrabes Zanth as a being born out of the sadness, hatred, and isolation that had happened to him while he was Gareth." Fluttershy said.

"...That's just the beginning. A being like me knows all too well what kind of devestation Gareth is capable of. I should know: I got a front-row seat to the whole thing long ago. And I'm talking literal eons ago." Discord said.

"You've been around for that long? Wow." Fluttershy said, eyes beaming.

"...But having been around secretly when Gareth became Zanth is both a blessing and a curse. It's a blessing because I know better then to get involves with Zanth. But it's a curse...when your forced to watch a being made up of pure dark Void Energy slaughter your own parents." Discord said.

"Wh-wh-what?!" Fluttershy was suddenly not feeling well.

"Zanth isn't like Luna's little episode as Nightmare Moon, Chryaslis wouldn't even hold a candle to Zanth's power, and what's more, Sombra's tyranny looks like sunshine and rainbows in comparison to the absolute destruction Zanth caused." Discord said. "But for the two of them to come to this world of all places...what is going on here?" He suddenly mumbled.

Fluttershy was looking troubled, but she couldn't help but notice Discord mumbled something. "Um...excuse me, what was that last part?" Fluttershy asked.

"Pay it no mind. I don't know what Zanth is doing here, but now I have to stay with you. I...I won't let him take you, Fluttershy. That's a promise." Discord said, suddenly giving Fluttershy a protective hug.

"Well...that's nice of you to say~" Fluttershy said.
