My Little Pony: The Draconic Sister - Reboot

Discord was a bit worried. He felt something was off. Really, really off. Like something happened that would make Fluttershy faint just from looking at the wrongness. Normally, he as the spirit of chaos would never feel this way. But something doesn't feel right. It is on this notion, the Draconequus heads to Fluttershy's cottage, and hopes that everything is fine.

Yet, as it turned out, everything was not fine.

There, laying in a pool of blood, was Johnson Malloy; otherwise referred to as The Mole. Judging from what the avatar of chaos was seeing, it was a sudden cut across his torso.

The Draconequus could also tell that this cut was made by something that had lost all moral.

Something, that had gone completely and utterly feral.

"...This is NOT good. Not good at all." Discord said. Even he could see how wrong this was. He may be an avatar of chaos, but even he would never stoop to this level.

This wasn't an act of something sentient.

There was a beast out there.

And it was out for blood.

Meanwhile, in Canterlot, Luna announced who would be proceeding to the more complex tests that would determine where in the squadron each of those who made the cut would be on the team, and more importantly, who would end up as the Shadowbolt's captain.

Rainbow Dash's team was an obvious pick, mostly thanks to Rainbow Dash's actions in saving the spectators. But what made Rainbow Dash smirk was the fact that Luna brought up that Lightning Dust's team; had they actually managed to complete the preliminary tests; would not been able to make the cut. They were just too far behind in points for it to have made any difference regardless of if they had been disqualified or not.

"Ha. Ah'd love to see the look on Lightning Dust's face if she learned that." Applejack said. Right now, there was a fifteen minute break and there was a provided locker room.

"Just goes to show how being too egotistical and reckless won't get you ahead in life." Rainbow Dash said. "I thankfully had Scootaloo to keep me grounded." She added.

"I don't deserve all the credit mom." Scootaloo said. "Your so close to becoming the leader of the Shadowbolts now." She added.

"...Yeah." Rainbow Dash said simply. Applejack suddenly blinked.

Is it just me, or did Rainbow Dash suddenly sound like she doesn't want that? Applejack asked.

The more complex tests were soon underway, and these tests were only for individuals. While Rainbow Dash did well, Soarin was keeping up with her. And whenever Rainbow Dash struggled a bit with a test, Soarin would not or vice versa.

"Dang. Soarin is able to give mom a run for her money." Scootaloo noted. "I guess that's what makes him the perfect stallion for mom." She added.

"What makes you so sure they'll be getting married?" Rumble asked, curious.

"...I can't say. I made a pinkie promise." Scootaloo said. "And you don't break those." She added.

"Yeah, otherwise you lose a friend FOREVER!" Pinkie Pie said, suddenly appearing between the two foals.

"PINKIE!" Both pegasi foals yelled at her before she went back to her original seat.

The day after the group returned from Starlight's village.

"YOUR GOING TO WHAT?!" Scootaloo exclaimed.

"Not so loud Scootaloo." Rainbow Dash said. "It's supposed to be a giant surprise." She added.

"Yeah but, I didn't think you'd actually put a ring on this relationship so soon. Feels a little fast if you ask me." Scootaloo said.

"Soarin and I talked about it. He feels like this is destiny. And I can't blame him for thinking that way. There's just, something about him that I know I can trust." Rainbow Dash said.

"...Wow. You ARE serious." Scootaloo said.

"Promise me you won't tell any pony though. This is meant to be a big surprise." Rainbow Dash said.

"Cross my heart, hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye, I will not tell any pony that you are going to marry Soarin after the Shadowbolt tests conclude." Scootaloo said.

Present day...

Scootaloo was thankful that Rumble dropped the conversation after that. And soon afterwards, the tests concluded.

"Well, it seems we have a tie." Luna said. "Rainbow Dash and Soarin, the two of you are both tied for the same number of points across the tests." She added.

"Dang. We got close." Soarin said.

"I had a feeling this would happen." Rainbow Dash said. As if she wasn't surprised in the slightest.

And Applejack caught that. Okay, some pony please tell me Rainbow Dash isn't acting a bit off suddenly? She thought to herself.

The farm mare didn't get to conteplate this long, when Discord suddenly showed up. "EMERGENCY! EMERGENCY!" The Draconequus said, having sirens go off.

"DICORD, WHAT IN TARTARUS ARE YOU DOING?!" Luna exclaimed.

"I'm sorry, but this couldn't wait. It's about Johnson." Discord said.

"Oh really? I hope he's okay." Fluttershy said. But then she noticed Discord's face falling. "D-discord?" She asked.

"I think you need to see this one for yourself." Discord said.

That is when they saw what had become of the mutant general.

Just then, Twilight booted up Deca. "Hey Deca, we need some advice." Twilight said.

"Sure. How may I--" Deca said before she noticed Johnson's body. "--JOHNSON?!" Deca exclaimed.

"Do you know who on earth could've just killed Johnson like this?" Twilight asked.

"...I can think of only one individual..." Deca said. "...Wildson Malloy, AKA The Wildman, AKA The Erasure." She concluded.

"...Wildson...Malloy? That's his real name?" Twilight asked.

"Let it be known though, that he no longer has rational thought if he's capable of doing this." Deca said. "He's just a beast. A big, bloodthirsty, feral beast." She added.

"F-f-feral?!" Fluttershy's jaw dropped.

"The only thing you can do for him now, is to kill him. It's the only form of mercy available to him once he's turned feral. Because when he turns feral, the only thing he has on his mind is that it's kill or be killed." Deca stated.

"...So the one known as Wildson Malloy...he's lost in that beast?" Twilight asked.

"Yes. That's exactly right." Deca said.

Fluttershy noticed something in the blood. And that one of Johnson's claws was dipped in his own blood. It seems Johnson was leaving them a message from beyond the grave. And it was two words.

"...Then we do what Johnson would want us to do." Fluttershy said. "We show no mercy." She added.
