Fallout Equestria - Clear Sky

Remember I told you I missed a day of work?

I was laying on the floor among the hills of.. well, yes, the dung of course. Hugging my shovel, I cried.

"Ww-hh-hyyyyyyyyy... why so much!... how could you do that to me!" I pointed a hoof in the direction of a brahmin. She ignored me. "I`m going to die here! Harmony has been lost! Equestria is doomed because I, Mary Flower, failed to clean the floor yesterday"

Nopony was around so I kept crying, holding a shovel with my hooves. Of course, no pony was here, all the other workers left this job long ago, and I was the only one left.

I moved a little, pretending that I`m trying to clean up some dung, and when my try failed I cried more. Well of course it failed, I was trying to move the shovel by just one hoof. I got covered with a brahmins sheet and all I wanted right now was a bath.

I closed my eyes for a few minutes pretending that everything is alright.

"What a mess, nelly, watch out, you can get drowned in the sheet if you stay like that on the floor" The farmer mare spoke, leading brahmins outside. Her voice was friendly!

"You not angry with me?" I sobbed.

"Nah, I dont care, it is your job, so Ill let you figure it out"

I wanted her to be angry. I wanted her to take that leash and punish me... oh my, what am I even thinking about? I felt myself blushing. However her voice calmed me down, I stopped crying and got up, looking around. All the brahmins left the building, and now the floor was covered with so much sheet that my legs were not long enough to handle my body above, so I started to dig my way out.

When I finally approached the dor, I found a farmer mare counting brahmins.

"These are new ones, right?" I asked.

"Yeah, and we will get a lot more heads soon from the nearest villages. Our milk shop falling apart from all the ponies who want the milk. This is definitely a success"

"You right" More brahmins?! Are you ki... Oh my. What I`m even gonna do.

The farmer mare went away with the herd, and I started to seriously think of what can I possibly do. Hire some workers? Nobody would agree. My own daughter betrayed me in terms of this work.

I stared at the sky hopelessly. "Celestia? Luna?.. Anyone?" I closed my eyes pretending that waiting could change something.

Could I really pray... to the goddesses, would it help? I didn`t believe that they could help in any way like they wanted me to do it myself, but for the moment, I really felt hopeless.

"Dear pri.." I jumped from a sudden thunder roar. I felt soft raindrops touching my skin, washing the dirt away. Guess someone is really watching over me and cares about me. Good goddesses, it felt good.

The heavy rain was strong. As more water began to fall from the sky, eventually I found that a lot of it was already inside the building. I wanted to close the gate to prevent more water from entering, but maybe it wasn`t that bad actually. The dung started to move because of the water, and I saw that there is a hole in the opposite side of the barn, so I stepped in, and started to force it outside along with the water. After just a couple of hours, the rain has stopped, and the barn was clear and shining. Yeah, it was so much easier to do it with help of water. Thanks, goddesses.. I guess?

The Sun was going down, farmer mare was back with the herd of milk wagons.
"Nice job Mary! Keep it up!"

"But it was a miracle! Can`t you see that it was not possible to clean that much dung by myself but I did!"

"As I said, I dont care in which way you doing your job. You are free to use arcane-dark-magic involving half-dead half-resurrected spirit of cyber-alicorn queen-on-the-moon of Equestria, I really fuking dont care"

Thinking of what she just said made my head hurt. Ok, anyway she went away taking these complicated terms with her and I was able to sit for a moment and think properly.

The rain will not come each day that's not a secret. Where I can get some water in order to make my life easier? The river! That's right. So this is the thing, I only need to figure out how to get here some water from the river.

I was standing in front of a huge black stream of water. It was a bit scary even to look into it. Who knows what lives in there?

"Oh my gosh, I`m not doing it today! Fuck you! Fuck it all!"

I went home and dropped my very corpse onto the bed. This was a good day.
