Maretime Bay 11:00am

In the beautiful coastal city of Maretime Bay, the earth pony, pegasus and unicorn fillies, mares, colts and stallions of the city were all seen having a peaceful stroll through town, eating ice cream, drinking cold drinks and many more during the sweltering summer day in Equestria. Life was perfect for the ponies of Equestria.

On the beach located in Maretime Bay, there were a group of fillies and colts including some mares and stallions were all seen playing on the beach with the foals building sand castles and the mares and stallions swimming in the ocean. Two in particular were a couple known as Sunny Starscout and Hitch Trailblazer.

The two pony couple were on their seventh date with each other and are in love with one another greatly after going to movie cinemas, selling smoothies together in a gaiety and loving way, patrolling the streets with each other and many more. Together they've established a loving and strong bond with each other.

Now, the couple were spending their next day on the beach during the summer. They were seen setting umbrella stands underneath two lounge chairs which they've completed in doing.

"Alright, that's the umbrellas finished!" Sunny exclaimed happily as she rested herself on the lounge chair.

"Indeed Sunny, luckily, we managed to buy these yesterday." Hitch chuckled. "Anyways, you want to do something today my beloved mare?" He asked her.

"Well my handsome stallion Hitch, I'm currently thinking about playing with the beach ball right now so, let's find a spot to play on!"

Hitch nodded before grabbing the beach ball from a basket after that, he and his love Sunny Starscout both began to go to a spot to play the beach ball with against two ponies.

On another area of the beach, Hitch and his love Sunny Starscout were seen competing against two mares Posey and Dahlia on a friendly game of beach volleyball. The two were also both hanging out on the beach with each other for a relaxing time during the summer holidays. Both sides were tied 14-14.

"Last point wins!" A mare referee said.

"You better not screw this one up like last time Dahlia." Posey told her sternly.

"As if you could do any better." Dahlia said with a roll of her eyes.

"Pfft, as if, watch this you sloppy mare." Posey said phlegmatically as she tossed the volleyball upwards. After that, she jumped up towards it and spiked the ball, thinking that it will hit the sand near both Hitch and his marefriend Sunny Starscout without them knowing.

However, Hitch unexpectedly jumped upwards I'm front of Posey out of nowhere and blocked her spike attack, causing the ball to hit the sand near Posey. Then, the referee blew the whistle, signalling the end of the match.

"Hitch and Sunny Starscout are the winners!" The mare referee exclaimed.

"Yay! You're amazing Hitchy!" Sunny exclaimed hugging her handsome stallion Hitch.

Then, the referee presented Hitch Trailblazer with a trophy for winning the competition which he gave it to his marefriend Sunny Starscout which made her kiss him on his left cheek multiple times.

Posey and Dahlia on the other hoof had their jaws wide open in shock and embarrassment over their sudden loss against the couple Hitch and Sunny Starscout. Posey used to be adroit in beach volleyball but now, she has lost to the sheriff.

"You were saying?" Dahlia asked mockingly to Posey. "I was going to be the clumsy one?" She asked again.

Posey however did not bother to answer her inquiriy due to her thinking that this loss was completely degrading to her right now so, she let out a huff before storming to the exit of the beach in humiliation and miserable defeat.

After winning the competition, Hitch and Sunny Starscout both began to swim in the ocean with the mare a couple of strokes, and the sheriff relaxing while sitting on a floatie.

As Sunny swam, she looked at her love Hitch Trailblazer resting on his floatie with his eyes closed in a tranquil way. A brief second later, a wicked smirk appeared on her lips as a plan was formulated in her head.

"This will surely give my beloved Hitchy a scare." Sunny said with a smirk before diving into the water.

With Hitch, the sheriff was seen letting out a relaxed sigh at how equanimity things were right now.

"Ah, nothing will surely ruin this peaceful moment." Hitch said in a comfortable tone.

Suddenly, something gripped onto Hitch's floatie and he got thrown into the water which caught him by surprise.

"Gah!" Hitch exclaimed as he fell into the water before swimming back up onto the surface. "Hey! Who-"

Hitch received his answer when he saw his beloved Sunny Starscout laughing at him, he thinks that it was her who pulled him into the ocean water all of the sudden just for her own fun.

"Oh my cheeky mare Sunny." Hitch chuckled before cupping her face and pulling her into a kiss, and the apricot mare kissed back with love.

5:30pm

The sun was setting right now in Maretime Bay, some mares, stallions, fillies and cats all began to leave the beach in order to call it a day except for a few who decided to watch the sunset, two of which were Hitch and Sunny Starscout.

Both the earth pony stallion and mare were seen sharing a beach lounge chair with one another with Hitch drinking a cup of orange juice in a glass cup, and with his love Sunny laying right next to him while nuzzling and kissing him on his right cheek which left lipstick marks on him.

"I had a blast today Hitchy my love." Sunny cooed.

"Me too my beloved Sunny." Hitch cooed back.

Then, the apricot coloured mare took it to the next step before climbing on top of the stallion before inching her face close to his own which made him blush.

"Hitchy, thank you so much for the splendid date yet again." Sunny said with a smile.

"You're welcome my beloved Sunny Starscout."

Then, the couple inched their faces close to one another before kissing each other in the lips again.
