I dont know what was that, it was a black hole?... the only thing I remembre was colorful lights, I was rolling over and over thinking that I was about to die in any moment and now im here, i feel weak, tired, I dont feel like moving and my view is blurred, I can`t see
almost anything, I can only hear water infront of me, stagnant water,
a lot of it.

"A pond?" I thought with fear and confusion.

It was the only thing I could think about, my view was still blurry,
I couldnt see where I was, I could only hear the sound of the water that was near me, with the little strength I had, I decide to drag myself toward the pond, the floor was warn and comfortable, it felt like grass, if it wasnt by the fear I would have fallen completly
asleep, but I couldn`t sleep before know where I was; mi fear was
increasing even more, I could only feel my hands but not my fingers
and if something bad had happened to me, if i was dismembered or
something like that, was I dead?; still with fear, I continued
dragging myself slowly towards the sounf of the water, I started to
recover my view slowly, was starting to see the beautifull landscape
where I was; I felt like I had been passed out for days, when I
finally made it to the corner of the pond I looked for tryin to
drink water, but

"¡¡¡AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!" I screamed in fear

All the energy that was missing in me came back in that moment, and
I was using it for scream infront of the pond, my reflection was
completely diferent from my human form, I didn`t know what I was
looking, I stood up difficulty to run, but my walking was clumsy.

"¡¡¡¿What is that thing?!!!... Is that... ¡¡¡¿Is that me?!!!" I exclaimed
while I was looking at my reflection in the water

I stopped looking at the water and instead, I tried to get away
from my reflection, but it was useless, I couldnt run correctly, my mind was completely clouded, I didnt know in what I have been
transformed and didn`t know where the hell I was

"O-okey, ¡calm down!..." I said while I was breathing deeply to
calm down and trying to give space to my thoughts

With all my strength I finally calmed down a little bit, I used all
my will power to breath and calm myself.

"okey, I dont know where I am, I also dont know what I am, I can`t
walk correctly with my two... ¿feets?" I said to myself confused.

I stopped for a moment to look at my body, I had arms, but no hand
or fingers, I looked at my legs, but I didn`t have feet.

"Okey... okey okey okey okey okey okey okey okey okey okey okey,
calm down, everything is fine, don`t panic or fall in madness, I
only need to think carefully and think with a cool mind". I said
aloud to concentrate and think correctly.

With my mind more cool and calmed I decided to go back to the side
of the pond to look at my reflection again.

"Apparently Im some kind of, ¿quadruped insect?... I have something in my forehead and wings, my legs have holes, the horn have holes too, even the wings have holes, but wings with holes wont work, ¿right?" I said aloud while analyzing my whole body in
confusion.

I already knew the situation in which I found myself, so I decided
to practice with my new body to at least walk correctly.

"Alright, first attempt, fly like in home, you can" I said while
I was standing up in 4 legs and extending my wings.

It was like learning how to walk for first time, when I was a kid I
used to walk in 4 legs, but never as well as a normal quadruped,
so I needed to learn one way or another.

"Okey, for the moment I haven`t fallen, now walk fow-"

*Crash*

"Auch"

I have fallen defeated to the easiest task, walk, as time went by,
I started to get better with that, in the third attempt I didnt fall, I continued for some more minutes, I walked around the pond, I tried to walk faster and apparently I already knew how to walk so much better, at least I didnt fall every step I walked.

"Alright, I think is enou-"

*Crash*

"Auch... I think I need to keep learning"

I continued practicing even more time, maybe I walked for hours like
an idiot around the lake; to be honest, that place was vey nice, is
calming and quiet, perfect to learn how to change your body suddenly
and ypur perception of life, great, I already learned to walk properly;
I noticed that it was a little dark, I looked for my phone around me
but it wasnt anywhere, it seemed like it didnt traveled with me,
so after thinking for a moment I got an idea, a classic camping
trick, an artificial clock, I only had to find a big stick, some rocks
and a decent orientation sence to make the most primitive clock ever,
and done, we got a clock, thanks to this clock I was able to deduce
that it was around six PM, the sun was hiding so it was obvius that
it was late; I didnt know what I was gonna do when the night arrives, I dont have food or a safe place where to sleep, I even thought for
a moment.

"Wait, this place is pure nature, food is usually plentiful when it
comes to nature, right'..." I thought confused

*crunch*

I could hear strange noises near by, it seemed that they were coming
from the bushes far away, i was afraid but I wasnt in a place that I know, I dont have any food or a safe place to sleep, did I have
another option?; I know its not the best idea and less when I
cant walk correctly, I thought doing that was stupid, approaching the bushes where the noises came from, but I dont have many other
options to be honest; I approach slowly watching my steps to not
make any noise, as I get closer Im sweating even more from nerves, my legs? were shaking, agh, I need a name for this things; when I got to the bush it stopped moving, a moment before I saw her, I knew it, there are other like me, I hid again so she cant see me,
in that moment I thought "she is like me" but shes like shaved and judging by her form she seemed like a, female?, of, our kind?... I dont know how the hell to call live beings here; I have hair I
thought its normal, my hair is made of gray tones and my, tail?
its a kind of... I dont even know, but my tail didnt have hair,
hair?...now that I think about it, those names are used on humans,
in this form I think they are called another way, my appearance its similar to a horse with some kind of insect combination, I think I will use the synonyms thet hey use on horses, the hair is a mane, the mouth is a snout, and the legs are hooves I think, I think its
everything for now, where I was?... oh yeah, that mysterious female.

"... ¿Uh?... ¿where did she go?..." I thought worried

I got out from my hiding to see her again but she wasn`t anywhere,
I kept looking in the direction she was before, until something
surprised me.

"¿Are you looking for somene?" the mysterius female asked me

"¡¡¡AAAAHHHH-" I screamed of fear before she shut my mou... snout
quickly.

The mysterius female has desappeared sneakily appearing behind and
giving me a big scare; she seemed to talk in a carefreeness, cynical,
and without will power tone, very interesting.

"S-Sorry, I-I got spooked from that that`s it hehe". I said nerviusly
and worried.

I just let out a little laugh of shame, I was trying to persuade her
and have a normal chat with her so she doesnt suspects anything, trying to make her look me as one of her, tribe? too, I think it worked, or she just doesnt care about me.

"Oh, look how distracted I am hehe, I think I got lost, ¿can you
show me where is the way back home?" I asked afraid infront of that
empty sight from the female.

"... I think..." She replied listless.

This girl doesn`t look really good, empty expression, without any
signs of wanting to life, she seemed to care about nothing; witout
much hesitation she lifted a ha.. hoof pointing me in the direction
we would begin to head, that how I started to walk by the side of
tha female towards the path that she had previously indicated.

"... Excuse me, ¿where are we going?" I asked confused.

"Maybe I hit my head and now Im a little lost". I said trying to persueade her.

"... okey..." She replied

Its a comunication progress, she at least replied me.

"We are Changelings, a race of shapeshifters led my our queen
Chrysalis, we are part of a kingdom where the queen is always the
leader of the whole kingdom, we the changeling eat "love", thats usually from the dominant race, the ponys, we disguise as one of them to consume their love and feed the whole "hive", usually we dont get out that much at day, its better to do it at night, but today in particular we were asked at the changeling guard to do research in the exterior, and I foun you, judging by your mane I supose you have been too much time out of the hive, lets see what
will happen when we arrive, but I think thats all the information
you need.... for the moment" The mysterius female replied.

"... thanks..." I thanked with extreme confusion.

Perfect, now I got more questions than answers, digest all that
information was hard, but I did it, it looks like Im some kind of race that can change its appearance for conveniance to, steal the love of the dominant race?, ponys, right? and appareantly we are heading to the hive, it seems like the Chalengings kingdom, it looks like this place is divided by kingdoms, being the pony kingdom the dominant one by the information the female gave me, this is scary, but maybe I will find more answers in the hive; the path becomes kinda rocky and the air becomes heavier, it looks like the hive its not too far, what will happen if I get there and I dont know how to act like them?...oh no

"Escuse me, I know this will sound stupid but I also don`t remember
how to change my form, ¿can you help me with that?" I asked ashamed.

"... okey..." the female replied

Does she still dont care about that one of her kind got amnesia suddenly and dont know even who they are?, I will not complain,
she makes it easier to me, cause I dontneed to make stupid excuses, even her behave is interesting, her appearance compared to mine is remarkable, she is taller than me, Im only 12 years old,
and she looks like she is 19 years old or so, she mentioned the
changeling guard, I think its something like the militaty forces
of the hive, maybe thats why she is so patient with me, cause Im
a kid and she is an adult.

"Look at that log right there, stare at it, mentalize it in your
mind perfectly, and when you think it the moment just use your horn,
it only a matter of thinking and it happens". She said with the
same careless voice.

I stared at it and she looked me back, so I looked away quickly so
she couldn`t see my face of confusion.

"Alright, here I go" I thought worried, I was afraid that I can`t
do it.

I looked at the log, I mentalized it, I made it in my head, I closed
my eyes, and I thought..., my forehead was starting to tingle, I
oppened my eyes and my horn was glowing in red, and then... I had
transformed in a log, I did it, I have transformed, but I lost the
concentration for a moment and I came back to my normal form, it was
clear, to transform youself you need a lot of concentration.

"... Great, congrats..." The female said listless.

Her congratulations were not exactly cheerful, she was still talking
without any desire to live.

"Its enough, we need to go back to the hive" The female said.

"...Okey, I`m going behind you" I said while I was following the
steps of that strange girl.
