Chaos’s POV

(Dreamscape)

Everything is burning around I can me, I could hear the screams of my citizens my people being attacked by our own guards turn traitor for reasons I don’t know I’m trying to save as many as I can while heading to the castle to ask my parents what we should do, I enter and see my parents just as they’re dismissing the captains of the guard.
"Mother, father the people are being attacked by our own guards turn traitor, what do we do."

"We are handling it right now we order all guards that are still loyal to help get the citizens to the evacuation portals but we also got distressing news."

"What could be more distressing than this we’re being betrayed by our own."

"The other kingdoms are reporting the same it looks like they’re being attacked by their own troops turned traitor too."

My eyes widen. "I need to get Chrysalis and Sombra they asked to play at the orphanage today."

"Son they’re to far out there I’m sure their caretaker has them to the closest evacuation portal."

"I don’t care, I promised when I took them in, I would protect them I won’t leave them alone."

I was about to leave, but then the door closed and a magic seal with our family crest on it locked it.

"Open the damn door. "I say trying to keep calm.

"Son please."

"I said open the damn door!" I yell unleashing my aura and turn around with a rage full face, but it soon disappears when I see their tear-stricken faces.

"We’re sorry but we can’t lose you too chaos we lost your brothers your all we have left along with my grandbabies."
My mother says through her tears.

"We promise to make sure their safe but you must go." My father says.

"Go, no I will not abandon my people none of them, I have been protecting them and defending our citizens no matter what race, species, or religious standing, I will no abandon them in their most dire time.*

"And we won’t lose our last son."

Then I start feeling a force keeping me in place and restricting my movements.

"No, you can’t do this, I have a right as their future king to defend them."

"And we as parents have a duty to save our son."

I then feel the air around me start being suck in, I look and I see a portal.

"N-no you can’t."

"We’re sorry."

"Please don’t."

"We love you son." They both gather magic in their hands and blast me into the portal and then everything goes black.

(End of the dream)

"No!" I scream out of my dream with fresh hot tears streaming down my face I look around and I see I’m back in my room in the house I share with my orphan siblings, I put my face into my hand and cry.

"God dammit why couldn’t they have let me stay and fight, I don’t even know if my citizens were able to get away or any of our allies." I say weeping into my hand.

Then my door is busted down, I look and its blaze.

"Chaos, buddy are you alright." She asks.

Blaze Thomas

She is our groups resident tomboy she was really the first friend I ever made in school she loves sports like football, hockey, soccer me personally think she likes them cause of the violence that can happen in them, she’s also great at fighting and working out, she may put up a tough gritty front but to our and her family she’s loyal and really kind, and when me and my friends have played DND she’s our dragonborn mage but we all always multi class in our campaigns so she doubles as our bard.

She sees the tears." You had the dream again."

I wipe the tears away. "Yep, like clockwork the twenty-second time in my life."

She comes over and hugs me. "Shh it’s alright it’s just a dream."

"I wish I could say the same." I thought while hugging back.

We stay like that for a while.
"Better."

"Yeah, a little thanks blaze."

"Hey what are orphan siblings for."

"Yeah." I say with a smile.

Yeah, that’s right from prince to orphan not that I’m complaining but does definitely feel weird, me and my other friends all met when the orphanage mother found me one day on the streets lost, hungry, beaten, and missing an arm and a leg that’s also the day escaped from that “place” freeing the others and I stayed behind to burn that place to the ground, I don’t know where the others are now, but I hope they’re okay some of the bastards escaped and I haven’t been able to find them but enough on that.

"Alright if your feeling better get up time for breakfast we got a big day today."

"Umm."

"You forgot didn’t you."

"Maybe."

"The cons today so we need to get ready, need any help getting on your leg and arm."

"No thanks I’ll start getting ready."

"You better it was your suggestion." She says leaving once she was away.

"I’m sorry everyone but I need to do this to see if my people made it out ok, I hope you can forgive me one day." I start moving to the edge of the bed and pull a case out from under the bed open it to reveal and bionic leg and arm, I put on the arm still tingly every time then I take off my pants and underwear to be able to put on my leg.
"Goddess above I’m still not use to this." I think back to the dream." I really hope your safe my love bug and my little umbra prince if those bastards hurt you then they better pray I don’t get my hands on them." I get dressed in my costume for the con and look in the mirror and it was just a simple present’s garb. And I only hope my citizens can for give me I know I don’t deserve to rule them anymore but I need to make sure they’re ok and I definitely hope the guys will forgive me leaving them but I need to the evacuation portals would have dropped off my people in the least hostile dimension and who knows how long have passed since that day but it’s my duty to make sure they’re ok. Unknown to me the twins were listening to my conversation with myself.

'What is big bro chaos talking about is he leaving us'. Tear go down both their face.'No, we won’t lose another family member, we all won’t.' They think determined and hurry off to their room.

I get finished and head to the kitchen on the way I could smell the food, when I was transported here I lost my ability to transform to my other forms but kept all my enhanced abilities and I also was majorly de aged to the age of four and was found by the orphan mother when I was twelve and I also started aging like a normal human and not like the ones back home, I still question if that was my parents intentions for when I entered the portal.

I enter the kitchen to see some of my other friends, I look at my friend sparks a very petite boy but mature for being the third youngest of our group.

Spark Nova

He showed up at the orphanage a few years after me and two others, has a child like nature but can be serious when the time calls for it and has a slight weakness to sweets like the twins, during our DND campaigns he’s dual classes as a swashbuckler and detective but always a great help in investigation checks and finding clue that help later in game, his chosen race is a high elf.

Next, I see the two love birds in the group Rook and Steel now even though we’ve been raised as siblings nearly our whole lives, once these two saw each other they immediately fell for each other, true they didn’t confess to each other right away it took years mixed with teasing from us on how obvious it was and them finally figuring it out for themselves.

Another reliable friend that would be great to have in a fight or to just hang out with, him along with Steel and blaze are the oldest out of everyone can despite his rough looking features you’d never expected him to be kind of a teddy bear with a love for animals heck he and Steel volunteer at animal shelters and he’s in school to be a vet and animal caretaker wanting to open his own animal sanctuary for stray animals, in DND he along with steel are our tanks him primarily playing a monk but will also multi class to a beast tamer.

Steel is definitely what you call the overprotective older brother type and definitely overprotective of Rook when someone harasses or is rude to him trust me you’d be on the floor missing teeth we told him when we were younger he should be a good wrestler but he always said he didn’t want to worry Rook about getting hurt so he settled with a simple construction job it pays well but he always tells his bosses who offer him manger positions that he’s doing the job until Rook gets his sanctuary up and running but promises the company first crack at any construction they’ll be needing, he’s our other tank in our party he classes as a paladin and multi classes as a cleric so he’s our second healer both him and rook play a Goliath and werebear when playing, ironically they’re both religious and won’t abandon their beliefs even there beliefs say it’s wrong for them to be together which I find honorable.

Blaze notices me. "Ah nice of you to join us breakfasts almost done."

"So will the others be joining us."

The we feel an explosion from underneath us and we sigh.

"It’s too early for this."

"I’ll get them." I get up from my seat and head to our basement, as I get closer to the door, I hear yelling, I open the door and see two of my orphan brothers yelling at each other.

Nicholas Tsunami

Behind blaze he's the second oldest , he's got a bit of a temper mostly when someone bullies our younger siblings, he and one of our other orphan siblings have a health competive side and also coincide with their dnd characters both are gunslingers in their own rights one being a sharpshooter which is Nicholas and is another dragonborn funny enough Nicholas is also a professional sharpshooter few years in the military and rest In hunting, after he came home it took everything we had to keep him from breaking down and we got him the help he needed he still has the occasional nightmare but that's all and for the person he's arguing with.

Timothy or Tim Richardson

Eye color: heterochrome right:red, left: yellow

Height: 5'10

Now Tim is kind of the sane as Nicholas just don't let them hear you say it they have some of the same likes and dislikes and you wouldn't know this from first glance that they are both a lawyer and prosecutor at looking at them at a gamers perspective they act like Phoenix Wright and Miles Edgeworth in the court without the whole evil mentor with Nicholas and they act completely professional when they're on the same case not taking advantage of the other Tim's also a mild tinker and makes toys for charity's like I said earlier they have a rivalry which oddly enough doesn't come from them being a lawyer and prosecutor but just cause their personalities clash, Nicholas being super serious at times and Tim being laid back but no matter what they never let it get in the way of them being brothers hell it makes them closer, Tim plays a hybrid in dnd a human/goblin gunslinger/artificer his character and the twins are the groups blacksmiths/equipment makers keeping everything in peek condition and upgrading if need be and they along with spark having identify and appraisal proficiencies which helps.

I tune back in hearing them yell.

"You damn mad scientist how many times do I have to tell you becarful with those inventions!"

"And how many times do I have to tell you be careful around my equipment and shit wouldn't explode!"

I sigh. Like clockwork you two.

They look. "Oh hey bro."

I smile. "Hey you two I see your getting your arguing out of the way before we go to the con."

"Oh yeah that's today good thing we got everything out of the way and all our work done."

"Yeah last case was a nightmare too the nerve of my client trying to trick me." Tim says annoyed.

"Well at least we got the right verdict."

"Yep, rich assholes."

I flinch a bit a that since I us to have a small fortune ass my allowance true I used it more on my people but that doesn't change that I was loaded. So after you get breakfast go get cleaned up and change alright.

"Right then let's head up see you there bro."

Yeah I'll go wake up the others.

"Good luck you know how some are."

"Yeah yeah."

I head up stairs and head to the possible easiest of them jack.

I go to the door and knock, no answer. "Hey jack I'm coming in." I open the door and see him laying in bed, but not alone cause cuddling up to him is my other orphan sister Melissa Drake.

Jake Drake

Now unlike Rook and Steel , him and Melissa are married for a few years now and they're really happy, Jake is the type of guy you can ask him too get something and he can find it no problem he's charming and has a way with words he's gotten me and few of us out of trouble with the law, me mostly cause I've still been look for the rest of those bastards and may have hacked into a few government databases to do so he and our brother frost are thought to be the most well mannered of us which I can't blame them since when I first came here I lashed out at time, him, blaze, Melissa, frost, and rook were the first to welcome me and help me with my nightmares /PTSD and help me get to know the other, Jack here is and martial art instructor teaching kids and some adults to defend themselves, he's our second hybrid of the group in dnd an Aarakocra/air genasi and a magical swordsman who dual wields

Melissa Drake

Melissa is the shyest of the group around other people but with us when it comes to us being reckless, dumb, and all around troublemakers she known to put her foot down and give us what for, not going to lie she scares me at times and I faced gods as sparing partners, anyway she and jack run a dance studio they teach tradidancer to modern to free style even when she was younger everyone said she and jack loved to dance so I guess that's what inspired her character in dnd too and really got into gardening it would always help spruce up the house, true her main class is a powerful dyrad druid but she multi classes into a bard but is belly dancer of it so instead of her singing she dance's to give bardic inspiration and she either uses swords or daggers so in a way she's somewhat a sword dancer

I chuckle. "Hey you two time too get up blaze made breakfast."

Jack is the first to answer and wakes up.*yawns*" alright little bro I'll get my little flower up."

But we both hear. No, more cuddles. This gets a chuckle out of us until she says. "And besides its your turn to wake up our kids your their uncle." This makes jacks face go crimson and me to burst of laughing and I just add to the fire.

"Will do I'll make sure their down for breakfast." I say while jack glares at me as I hurry out I head too the twins room its the last room in the hall, I was about to knock on the door but it opens and I'm tackled but two people our youngest siblings Ben and Gwen Redgrave

Now the final members of our little family and the youngest they came around when I was four teen and they were four the caretaker found them a few years after finding spark they definitely didn't trust us and cause they didn't talk to us we all assumed they were mute but somehow they started opening up and to me of all people the other asked what I did but I couldn't figure that out why and after they came in that completed our little family we have been through a lot and I became very protective of my younger siblings, these two and spark are home schooled by all of us, we came to this decision after the orphan mother died years ago and all the others found homes, sure we all got offers to go to homes but we told them the same thing we're a package deal so years prior the orphan mother decided that she would adopt all of us and turn the home she owed for holding the orphans into our family home and we were happy and in our mothers last moments she said how proud and loved us all no matter what, a lot of us took it hard especially the younger siblings but we got through it and stuck together knowing each one of us was broke in someway we wouldn't talk about, but enough of that these two are balls of energy but also like Tim they are extremely smart and the inventor types they have the same likes and dislikes and at times can tell what each other are thinking and finish each other's sentences kind of creepy and I've fought nightmares of unimaginable power seriously my life was nuts compared to this one but wouldn't trade it, anyway in dnd these two somehow figured out how to make two characters seem like one just like them there characters are twins and are young forge master dwarves they both use different weapons though Gwen uses a great Axe and Ben uses a sword and shield like I said earlier they along with time are our equipment managers

I look down at them smothering their faces into my chest.

"Hehe hey you two have a good sleep."

"Yes big brother." They say.

"Good now get to the dinning room big sis blaze finished breakfast."

"Yeah let's go sis."

"Alright brother."

They quickly run to the kitchen, I look at them with a sad smile. "I'm going to miss them*sighs*he better be their he still owes me those favors damnit."

I roll up my sleeves and a few magic circles appear on both but flicker." I'm running out of time these disguise magic circles aren't going to last much longer." I get up and head back while also rolling down my sleeves. While at the table they were eating and talking, I kept mostly queit I didn't know what to say talking to them would feel like my final goodbyes, but I perk up when they say my name. "Huh yeah."

Jack says. "Jeez where's your head at bro, anyway what are you going to do at the con."

"I don't really know I thought." But I'm cut off by the twins.

"Oh big brother said he'd keep us company right big bro." They look at me with those adorable eyes I wanted to say I didn't but everyone in this family know when those two combine their cuteness nobody can say no and I just nod causing them to fist pump.

"So what will you be doing, I feel like blaze will be look for any ember cosplayers she can find." This cause blaze to choke a bit on her orange juice causing us to laugh.

"F-fuck you crimson." She shouts with a blush.

Blaze pretty much watch every single mlp episode and rewatched the ones with dragon lord ember in them she developed a huge crush on that character it's funny that I met a male version of her back home god I hope everyone made it out safely, but hey I can't tell her I've met them in a way funny enough we watched a few episodes with her, Melissa and jack said if they ever found a little girl with scootaloos personalitie they'd what to adopt her, hell if I met a kid like pipsqueak I'd adopt him I never met one back home so he probably wasn't born yet, Tim and Nicholas said they would love to play pranks on pony's with rainbow and pinkie, the twins would love to join the cutie mark crusaders on their adventures, Tim also said he would have loved to talk shop with twilight and moondancer and to get to know Derpy I feel like he developed a crush even though the character wasn't shown much and she remains me of this mail stallion everyone called dizt I wonder if there's a correlation there eh I bet it's nothing Rook would love to meet fluttershy their love of animals would break her shell right away, and everyone saw I took a interest in princess Luna and teased me about having a crush on her, truth is they were half right she look so much like the goddess I was the chosen apostle for Galaxia and moon goddess that my people worshipped from the beginning of our extists and for some reason she choose me she had never chosen an apostle before she had chosen prophets sure but I was her first apostle, I was honored to say the least but their was so priests of her church who had their objections since unlike everyone else I saw her as another person which angered them but her she loved it,*mentally chuckled* I'd even sneak her out of her temple to have fun and enjoy ourselves it was kind embarrassing because we had to disguise our appearances cause our high status and everyone call us a couple, and it's not like I didn't think about it she was a beautiful girl and I was gonna and my fiancès but I digress before that day I had decided to ask her but I planned on bringing my fiancés and my two adopted kids with me, I hope they're alright.

We finish breakfast and everyone goes to get changed I waited in the living room and my eye lands on a family picture of us and the caretaker she was a kind and loving woman all of us admired her deeply and when she died five years ago we were all devastated but at least she went peacefully in her sleep and apparently she had actual kids but they never visited or let alone cared about her and the house she had set us up in that she said was an orphanage well that was a lie but she took us in any way cared for us, feed us, loved us we were lost lights in this world but she found ways to bring out those light to shine the brightest, after the funeral and a week later a man came to get us saying he was her lawyer and had something to discuss with us we went with him a lot of us had already graduated college tim and Nicholas were big helps with the stuff we didn't understand well the rest the legal system here mirrored my homes very much even though we were a more medieval society, anyway he brought us there to discuss her will, but as soon as he was going to explain the details of it two people burst in, it was a male and female both in there fifties and they looked pissed and demanded to know why they weren't notified of these proceedings and who we were, and we them that's when we learned that our caretaker was an ex multi million dollar CEO who retired and they were her kids but the lawyer told them if they don't shut up and calm down they would be kicked out so the begrudgingly sit down and continue with reading of the will, and to say we were surprised was an understatement, as he started he read that the rights to the company goes to her two children Richard and Samantha but as he continued to say those two flipped there shit was mild, apparantly she was leaving the deed to her house to us along with access to all the money in her bank account which was in the millions so that we'd be taken care of, then those two brats had the guts to say we tricked or scammed her I had to keep my siblings calm but that didn't stop me from beating the shit out of them when they tried to attack my siblings now I only had my prosthetic leg at this time so I beat them with one arm, what happen later comes later cause I notice my siblings surround me also looking at the picture.

"We had the best of time huh." Blaze says.

"Sure did." Steel and took said together while holding each other.

"Chaos here acting hella emo." Tim said jokingly.

"Oi piss off you saw the state I was in you tell me who trust others after that."

"And you still haven't told us what happened." Nicholas said.

"And I told you I don't remember."

"Alright enough if our local emo doesn't want to say it's fine." Melissa say teasingly.

"Oh not you too sis."

"Hehe alright enough teasing let's head out every body have everything."

"Yes blaze."

"Alright let's go."

We leave the house and go to the convention which was to far so we didn't have to use the car and walk there it takes us no more then an hour to get there we had a bit of trouble getting in at the security check but after they saw my prosthetic they let us in and we went our separate ways I was dragged off by the twins hopefully I can find one of the others after a while and hand them I have to find him before this convention ends, while we have been going around I've notice people in armor that looks similar to some I designed back home but that's impossible they shouldn't know where I am my magic signature should be none existent but then I see more and more my eyes widen as they seem to close in.

Ben, Gwen keep looking forward and don't turn to look at me.

They slightly freeze but keep walking and listen to my instructions.

"Good, now as soon as I run and people in armor chase after don't follow don't even seem like you two know me, find the others."

With tears going down their faces." Big brother please don't leave."

"Hey your big brother will be alright just do as you're told find the others, you all are the best family I could have ever asked for be safe I love you." Then I make a run for it and like I thought they followed.

Ben&Gwen's POV

After they chased big brother chaos Gwen was about to run after but I grab.

"We can't leave him." She cried.

"We aren't sis we need to get everyone." He says.

"Right." She agrees and we run off as fast as we can, we look everywhere then we finally find them.

"Big brothers, big sisters."

They hear us we run into there arms and they notice us upset.

Blaze starts." Alright whose the dead people who messed with our baby siblings." She says pissed.

Melissa whose holding Gwen." Where's chaos wasn't he with you two."

Through our tears we speak. "Y-yes w-we where walking w-when he told us to keep walking a-and said that once he ran and some people in armor chased him don't follow them and act like we didn't know him."

They were all confused on why big brother chaos would act like this but then we noticed people running towards something, big brother jack caught one of their attentions.

"Hey what's going on."

"Some guy is surrounded by a bunch of dudes in armor we're going to watch, hey guys wait up."

"Big brother! We shout and run off."

"Hey you two get back here! Blaze shouts and they chased after us."

We eventually get to where the crowd was and the rest of our siblings caught up and we push though and it looks like big brother chaos is on the ground floor of the convention hall surrounded by those people in armor.

3rd POV

Chaos was in the middle of them all of them had weapons aimed and ready he's in a fighting stance ready for them to charge, but suddenly start hear loud and slow clapping, he looks around to find what might be their captain and passes the other knights and reaches and unstraps his helmet and takes it off, and to reveal a tiger headed man with a scar on his right eye and blind in it, Chaos's eyes widen and turn to rage.

"You gods damn traitor lieutenant stripe claw."

"And its nice to see you as well my "prince"."

Chaos's siblings look at each other in confusion at the word prince.

"Why, just why you were close with my parents, one of my personal guards, someone I trusted to look after my kids why betray us, why did all of you." He motions to all the knights.

"Isn't obvious a lot of us didn't believe in your parents vision of peace we hated each other but your damn grandfather wanted to end the fighting that had been going on for millennia, your parents continued his vision of peace but was still unable to stop it but all of a sudden peaceful talks ensued like magic and peace was achieved but there was still was hatred, rasicm, and small battles but little by little those problems kept disappearing our superiors kept wondering how this kept happening that's when they thought maybe it's the oldest heirs of the kingdom." He says with a smirk and Chaos's eyes widen in shock and pupils shrink to pinpricks and rage swells from him.

"YOU KILLED MY BIG BROTHERS!" His scream turns into more of a roar.

His adopted siblings eyes widen at hearing this.

"Yes we did I personally didn't get the honor but yes they told me they showed them no mercy."

"I'll rip them apart with my bare fucking claws. He feels two of the magic circles break under his rage."

"You can try but you should be more worried now your surrounded by knights yourself trained and your strength has weaken over the years, what do you hope to achieve."

"I have already lost all my honor the day my parents forced me to run away, you think I care about my life the life of my people were the only concern I ever had their safety, happiness, and freedom was all I strived for all the races and people under me and my families rule were treated fairly and justly, I am Chaos Draco Fang Crimson and as the disgraced prince of the three great kingdoms swear once I deal with you traitors I will rescue my people and then surrender myself to their judgment that is my promise, now." He enters a fighting stance." To those who have the courage to betray all they know for those and that wish to claim my life come and get it cause I promise some of you bastards are coming to the great plains with me if I fall today."

We see our brothers determination to fight and die if need to be but what is he talking about, we thought all those dreams he had were just that dreams but he was telling us his life before us, we have to get down and help, we were about to bolt for the stairs but then we hear the tiger man laugh out loud.

"HAHAHA I know you were crazy but to declare war on them and then promise to take some of us to the great plains with you, you are the craziest man I know and the king I know I wish to serve, NOW!"

Him and some of the knights subdue the others, and to say us and chaos are confused is mild.

"W-what the hell is going on."

"Well it looks like we're saving your ass young prince." Stripe says sarcastically.

"Was that all in act."

"Well duh thought you'd figured that out my lord." One of the knights that tying up two other knights.

"Sorry about that my prince we wanted to make sure you hadn't forgotten you duty as our future king." Another knight speaks up.

"Yeah brat, I didn't get defeated by you all those years ago just for you to puss out of your responsibly." One knight says.

Two knights approach and take a knee.

"My lord it pleases us to find you in great health."

"We once again are at your service."

He's shocked and looks at the tiger headed man and runs to him and embraces him and begins to cry.

"I miss you so much uncle."

"And I you my young prince and nephew."

We witness this scene and hurry down, when reach them we shout. "Brother!”and he turns and we tackle him and embrace him.

Chaos's POV

"After getting tackle by my siblings."

"Why didn't you tell us you damn idiot." Blaze says trying not to cry.

"Yeah Lil bro we had no idea all those dreams you had were your life." Tim say.

You had us worried kid. Jack says.

"You foolish little boy you could have come to me and talk to me." Melissa says.

Spark, Ben, and Gwen were all crying into my chest.

"How come you didn't think to tell us brother." Steel says.

Yeah Lil bro. Rook agrees.

I look at all of them and hug them tightly." I'm so sorry for worrying you all."

Then we hear a harty chuckle and turn to look at my uncle stripe.

"Well my prince it seems you've got a lot of explaining to do later but let's not do it here this is only one of the squads they sent and I so happen to be the commander of this one and I believe we found who you are looking for kid."

I nod and look at my siblings. "Come on as soon as we're safe we'll talk."

"Oh,we will cause we need to know what heel is going on mister." Blaze says while pulling my ear.

"Ow ow ow ok let go sis."

This gets a chuckle from my siblings and some of the knights but the two who kneeled to me look like they're ready to attack but I make a motion that it was fine and we keep walking and in a bit of and we get to a stand and walk up a ding the bell and from the tent someone walks out backwards.
