EQG: Demon Slayer Kimetsu no Yaiba: Rise of the Middle Moons
Prologue: Evils of Humanity, Birth of The Piranha Demon/The 1st Middle Moon
Load Full Story(The Beginning narration is through Muzan's words)
There are many evils that exist throughout the world, but the greatest evil of all...is human evil. Greed, lust for power, complete disregard for innocent lives. This is what humans will do when they are desperate or if they think they are in a higher power. Another example is when Humans aim to pray upon the weak or reject a person's love for them. That was what happened to the Piranha Demon/The Eventual Middle Demon Moon #1, Towairaito Kagayaku.

Demon Slayer Kimetsu no Yaiba: Rise of the Middle Moons
Meanwhile, in the distant Kyantarotto Village, there was a small noodle shop that was about to close in 15 minutes. Suddenly, a girl wearing a purple Kimono came in.
"Oh, hello I hope I'm not interrupting," Towairaito said as she came inside.
"No, not at all," The shop-keeper said. "Say, are you doing something special today."
"Yes, I need to get some hot-and ready soup for my date tonight," Towairaito said with a gentle smile.
"Hmm, is it Mokuzai Supurūsu," The Shop-Keeper asked.
"Yes, he said for me to meet him at Ebāfurī Village," Towairaito said. "That's why I need a bowl of Soup that's hot and ready."
"Alright, I got one right here," The Shop-Keeper said. "But I should tell you right now, there's just something about that boy that doesn't feel right to me. You should keep your guard up."
"Oh, don't worry, everything will be fine," Towairaito said gently. "Besides, my mother has always told me that love will set me free."
Towairaito then retrieved the soup and left the shop just as it was about to close.
Then Towairaito went up to her village's sacred guardian, Shi Renyu, and said, "Oh Great Shi Renyu, thank you for the food you have given me and for helping me find true love." Towairaito then left for Ebāfurī village with the soup in her hands.
"And that my friends is the day that Towairaito's suffering began," Muzan said.
Towairaito Kagayaku after many hours of walking had finally gotten to the entrance of Ebāfurī village. Towairaito was so happy that she was finally going to be able to find her true love, even though he lived in a village full of a lot of shady people.
Towairaito was looking everywhere for Mokuzai, as some of the locals were unsure as to where he was at.
"Hmm, did I come a little too early," Towairaito thought to herself. She then looked everywhere for her beloved Mokuzai, that was until she finally saw him while she was searching through an alley-way.
Mokuzai Supurūsu was a very tall and handsome man who had dark green hair. He may look like a gentleman, but his personality was like some kind of hooligan who always wanted to find some way to try and cause trouble. This made some of the locals at Towairaito's village be a little displeased whenever the boy showed up to their village. Mokuzai was also not very fond of some of the Village's sacred traditions, and only wanted to stay out drinking while others did all the work.
It seemed that Mokuzai was talking to someone.
"Hmm, I wonder who he's talking to," Towairaito thought to herself.
However, as she got closer to Mokuzai, the thing that Towairaito would see next would make her heart plummet.
It was a girl from her village, named Torikushī Ruramūn, who Towairaito thought was one of her closest friends.
"So, when is Towairaito supposed to come over," Torikushī asked Mokuzai.
"Who knows," Mokuzai said vainly. "I hope she doesn't come, cause all she'll talk about is her village's crazy traditions or worshiping a Piranha statue, besides, I never really loved her anyway."
"Oh, Mokuzai you sly dog," Torikushī said with a devilish grin. "I didn't really like her stupid face anyway, I only needed her to make myself look good."
Towairaito, even though she had a calm face, her blood was boiling in anger. Her anger only showed when her hands were making the soup pot tremble and shake. Towairaito was also silently crying. But she hid her tears as she pressed forward.
"Hello Mokuzai and Torikushī-Sempai," Towairaito said coldly as both of them jolted to her direction. "I see that your talking to a friend there, Mokuzai, I'm glad you two are getting to know each other."
"H-Hey Towairaito, this isn't what it looks like," Mokuzai said as he tried to plead.
"Don't bother pleading, you two must think that I'm a stupid fool don't you," Towairaito sneered as she was starting to cry again. "How stupid do you think I am?"
"Hey Towairaito, let's not blow this out of proportion," Torikushī said as she tried to plead as well, but Towairaito only gave Torikushī a death glare.
"STOP TALKING, I DON'T WANT TO HEAR YOU TALK ANYMORE, YOU DOUBLE-CROSSING BITCH," Towairaito roared at Torikushī, making her flinch. "I TRUSTED YOU, I TRUSTED BOTH OF YOU, AND YOU DO THIS TO ME! AFTER I WENT THROUGH ALL THE TROUBLE OF PREPARING YOU FOOD MOKUZAI, AND YOU DO THIS TO ME!"
"Oh my God, just shut up already you ugly bitch," Mokuzai roared. "Who gives a single crap about what you think. It's your fault for being stupid enough to actually believe that I loved you. You stupid fool. Oh thanks for the soup, I'll take that off your ugly hands."
"Oh you want this soup, WELL YOU CAN FUCKING HAVE IT," Towairaito said as she took off the lid and threw the soup all over Mokuzai's face. Mokuzai then screamed in agonizing pain as the extremely hot soup started burning his skin, leaving a nasty scar which could never be repaired.
"YOU FUCKING BITCH," Mokuzai roared in rage as he smacked Towairaito across her right cheek, then started kicking her a few times before she ran away. "HOW DARE YOU SCAR MY FACE, I'LL MAKE YOU RUE THE DAY YOU MESSED WITH ME BITCH!"
Towairaito then ran as far as she could until she hid behind a tree and started bursting into tears due to the cold and brutal betrayal of her once lover and friend.
"Mokuzai you ok," Torikushī asked.
"DOES IT LOOK LIKE I'M FUCKING OK," Mokuzai roared. "I will have revenge, I'll round up some guys from my village, go to her stupid village, kill her family, and burn her house to the fucking ground! That's a fucking promise!"
It had been 3 hours since Towairaito had been crying from behind that tree, and once she had finally calmed down enough, she started heading home, as she saw that the mud from Mokuzai's boots had dirtied her Kimono. Which made her grumble a little.
As soon as she finally saw her village, she was finally relieved that she could just go home and sip her sorrows away with some Saki. But as she was heading towards the entrance she smelled something burning, and saw a faint trail of smoke. Towairaito always knew that whenever there was smoke, there was fire.
Towairaito, as she was running the source of the smoke, hoping that her family was ok, saw that her family home was enveloped in a fiery blaze.
Towairaito's face turned to pure terror as she called her neighbors and told them about the fire, and the neighbors did everything they could to help Towairaito put out the fire.
And eventually the fire was put out, Towairaito's face only saddened even more as everything she had owned had been burned away in the fire.
"Mama, Papa, Little Sis," Towairaito screamed as she was searching through the burned rubble to see if her parents were alive or not. However, time just stopped as Towairaito saw the burned corpses of her mother, her father, and her little sister. All of them were holding their hands together as if to protect each other from the fire.
Towairaito in a fit of despair, screamed at the top of her lungs as she started crying uncontrollably. Many members of the village came to comfort her during this tragic time.
Towairaito felt as if reality itself was crumbling all around as she held her dead mother in her arms.
Meanwhile at the village hospital, Towairaito was sitting on a chair facing a mirror, as she had an emotionless look on her face. Their was also a katana on the floor, as Towairaito, in her despair, tried to end her life, but in the end she couldn't even do that.
"God, I'm such a idiot," Towairaito said to herself. "I couldn't even kill myself."
This was something that she would never recover from.
As she was pondering, she heard a knock on her door.
"Come in," Towairaito said. Only to see a young man wearing a grey suit and hat. But all Towairaito could see were the man's blood-red eyes.
"Hello, little one," The man said. "Forgive me for barging in unannounced in this very tragic time for you."
"Who are you," Towairaito asked the man.
"My name is Muzan," Muzan said.
Towairaito's face turned to fear when the man mentioned his name, since she knew from a Demon Slayer named Sutāraito Kirameki that Muzan was the ruler of all Demon's.
"You're...a demon," Towairaito said in terror. "Have you come all this way to kill me?"
"No, I've come to tell you of a revelation, and to ask you a proposal," Muzan said.
"What," Towairaito said.
"I know who killed your family and destroyed your life," Muzan said, making Towairaito freeze in place.
"Who," Towairaito said.
"Mokuzai Supurūsu and other members of the Ebāfurī Village," Muzan said.
Towairaito was starting to tremble not in anger, but in vengeful hatred. Because now Towairaito realized something, she now knew that humans...were evil.
"Breaking my heart wasn't enough for him was it, then he had to destroy my family as well," Towairaito said as she picked up the katana on the floor and plunged it through a picture of Mokuzai. "He'll die for this, him and everyone in his accursed village."
"Yes, that's where I wanted to ask you a little proposal," Muzan said. "In exchange for your revenge, will you allow me to turn you into a demon."
"Now please remember that once you have been turned into a demon, you will never be accepted in your home village again," Muzan said.
"I don't care about them anymore," Towairaito said in an unhinged voice. "If being a demon means achieving my revenge, then I would happily trade away my humanity to do so."
"And if my usefulness to you comes to an end, then I will accept my fate without talking back," Towairaito said. "I don't fear death anymore."
"Very well, you have given your choice," Muzan said with an impressed smirk, as a tendril came out of his back and stabbed Towairaito in the neck injecting her with his blood.
Soon. Towairaito started thrashing in agony, but instead of screaming, she was laughing at the pain. Her skin started turning pale, and her eyes turned red while her pupils turned into that of a demon. Two small Horns also grew out of her head and her teeth turned sharp, and sets of razor sharp jaws grew on the palms of her hands and the tattoo of a Piranha appeared on her chest.
Then, Towairaito knelt her head down as her hair covered her face.
"Now Towairaito, you may be a normal demon now, but, if you actually go through with your revenge, I will grant you the rank of a Moon," Muzan said.
"Thank you, my lord," Towairaito said with a demented grin. "But my name isn't Towairaito...not anymore. Towairaito was weak, she was always weak...I destroyed her, I devoured her completely!"
"Then who are you," Muzan asked.
"I am now...Yonaka," Yonaka proclaimed as her eyes opened revealing them to be the eyes of a demon and veins grew on her head.
Meanwhile in Ebāfurī Village.
"Wow, you sure showed her didn't you boss," One of Mokuzai's cronies said.
"Yeah, that'll teach her to mess with me," Mokuzai said with a fiendish cackle.
Suddenly Mokuzai heard a creepy humming from the distance singing, "No sukoshi tinbāurufu, doko sore wa anata? Kite auto, kite auto, to ukeireru kimi no unmei! (Translated: The little timber-wolf, where are you? Come out, Come out, and accept your fate!).
"Hey whose there," Mokuzai demanded. "Come out and show yourself."
"Alright then Sweetie, here I am," Yonaka sang as she came out from the shadows with her eyes closed.
"Towairaito, you...you, look...beautiful," Mokuzai said as he gazed upon Yonaka's new beauty.
"Oh, so you think I'm beautiful now," Yonaka said with a smile.
"That's real nice of you to say, but my name's not Towairaito anymore...IT'S YONAKA," Yonaka said as she opened her eyes with demented glee, revealing herself to be a demon.
"You...you're a demon," Mokuzai said in fear.
"Yep, about time you figured it all out," Yonaka said. "And I'm a Piranha Demon, thank you very much."
"It seems that Muzan is now recruiting more people to his legions of demons," Yonaka said. "He chose yours truly, and that's bad news for you."
"Ahh, my poor katana, is far too clean," Yonaka looked with a demented look. "It's been a long time since she's tasted blood, but tonight, she'll be bathing in yours."
"Well, enough talk, times up for you and this vile village," Yonaka said as she then pinned Mokuzai to the ground. "Now, sit back and allow me to chow down," Yonaka said as she opened her mouth to take a bite into her betrayers flesh.
No one in that village stood a chance against Yonaka's wrath, as she had slaughtered and devoured them all.
The last villager, barely alive, could only watch in horror as the thing that would soon kill him came close.
"Wh-Why are ya doing this," The Villager said.
"You know, I used to feel joy when I gazed upon people like you, but now it angers me to look upon you," Yonaka said with her face turning from psychotic to vengeful. "I hate you ungrateful humans, who took everything and everyone from me, so now you will have to feel my pain and loss."
Now with every villager eaten and the Ebāfurī Village in flames, Yonaka leaves covered in blood.
She then see's Muzan once more, as she is then taken away by him.
Two years later.
(This Narration is Muzan talking).
When I first found you, you were nothing, you were weak, you were...lost. But now, you are more, you are ready. Welcome my 1st Middle Demon Moon.
Yonaka's eyes open revealing a symbol on her right eye representing her number.
(Will continue in Chapter 1: Sorrowful Sunset, Finding the 2nd Middle Moon).
