Because of his impulsiveness, Samuel had an accident that left him in a coma for twenty years, trapped in his own body and locked away in the world of dreams.

Until the day of his death, where he returned to life in the body of a late changeling general after making a deal with Princess Luna. The deal is very simple, Sam will fulfill several missions given by Princess Luna to save Equestria and in return he will be able to come back to life.

He also receives help from an unexpected ally.
