Heroes Of Harmony - The Prologue Part 2 - What lies within

(Time skip 30 minutes location royal gardens)

Upon living the castle celestia and night-light soon found them selfs at the entrances to the royal gardens and arriving celestia was surprise at how fast area had already been closed off celestia then turned to night-light who a proud smile on his face "As you can see my guards work fast" Night-light said proud of his unit.

"Indeed captain" Celestia replied as two walked through the gates that led into the royal gardens, upon entering the gardens celestia's jaw then dropped only for a moment as she immediately notice the damages that had been done by whatever that had come out from what she was calling the rift, as all around her was nothing but broken trees doug up bushes bits of rock everywhere even some of the gardens stone statues were thrown around, one off them being the bottom hafe of a familiar dreconequus that looked to it top hafe buried under some uprooted dirt and in the centre of it all was one massive crater, it was only by some miracle that the castle wasn't hit seeing that the castle that wasn't to far from the crash site only a few minutes walk but what was a little strange to see, was seeing fifteen guards standing all around the crater and all armed and all pointing there spears down into the crater, she could still fill the power she felt before coming from what layed within the crater, she then turned to night-light for questions. "What's going on over there" Celestia asked, night-light then turned to were the guards were standing.

"That's what i wanted you to see" Night-light replied. "Have you noticed that most of the guard's standing by the crater are unicorns, it seems we unicorns can sense that overwhelming power, a lot better then the Pegasus or earth pony's " Celestia nodded as looking back to the fifteen guards she saw that nine were unicorns, four were Pegasus's and the last two were earth pony's, her eye's then landed on one female guard who was sitting down on a rock by a tree, and looked to be holding an ice pack to the left side of her head seeing that celestia then turned to night-light and asked. "The mare over by the tree, What happened to her" Celestia asked night-light who upon also seeing the guard then replied.

"My apologies Princess, she is one of are new recruits she was also with me and a few other guards, doing some over night training at the time she's also the one who saw everything" Celestia then nodded as she began walking towards her as she was wanted to know if her guard was alright seeing that night-light then followed behind, once close enough celestia got a good look of her she was a young earth pony with a gray coat with a long dark purple mane that was tide up into a pony tale she also had light purple eye from what celestia could see from a far.

"Hay, you okay" Celestia asked stopping just before the mare who upon hearing somepony talking to her looked up, and upon seeing who it was seeking to her, and seeing her captain sanding next to her, the female guard then shot up like a bullet on to her hooves, as she then selected with her right hand.

"Cap-captain, Princess my apologies, i didn't see you there" The guard said before noticing that she had both of her hands to her head, her face then begin turned red in embarrassment. "i-i'm sorry, your majesty captain" She said as she then dropped her right arm before bowing down to them her face turning even redder then before.

"At ease, please take a sit back down" Night-light said the mare nodding her head she as she did what she was talled.
"Could you tell us your name, and what happened here" Celestia asked terning around looking at all pointing there weapons out all aimed at whatever was in the crater she then turned back towards the mare. "If you would please" she said the mare nodding as she began.

"My name is clumsy dumzy doo but my frainds call me clumsy doo, i'm temporarily one of the night guards as im filling if for a friends" She began Celestia nodding.

As for what happened here, all i can tell you is what i remember" Clumsy doo said abit nervous while holding the ice pack to her head, as celestia see this then placed her hand on top of her shoulder to try and carm the mares nerves.
"Do it at your own peace" she said giving her a comforting smile.

"Well it all begain at around 10:50, me and some other guards arrived to the gardens just before 11, so we could start some night tanning with captain night-light"

"Then what happened"

"He wanted us to start off with some laps around the gardens to start off with, everything was fine nothing out of the blue, i was a little slower then the others so i was a little far behind everypony else but as i was jogging i then heard this lowed and ear ringing boom"

"i was with the others at the time, seeing that mis doo wasn't among us i told the rest to stat put as i went to go find her" Night-light said before letting her continue.

"i then stopping and looked up into the sky, i then saw the sky began to start cracking, then there were flashing colours before this blinding light, i the next thing i saw was what i first thought was a meteor, and it was coming right at me, so i jumped out of the way hitting my head on some rocks in the process, i then heard another boom coming from were it crashed landed it sent me flying back abit in the process"

"Then what happened" asked celestia.

"After getting up out of the rubble, i then preceded on following the smoke and broken tree branches, i then came across the crater you see before you" she said pointing at the crater behind celestia and night-light. "But upon a closer look i saw that wasn't a meteor but something that looked metal i think, i could also fill this strange power coming from it, then somewhere around 11:40 i shot of a distress signal, soon after captain found me saw what it was, and tolled me to stay put as i'm guessing he went to find you and that all i remember"

"Thank you mis doo" celestia said with a smile "Once the doctor says your all good to go, i want you to take the next two days off" and with a nod from her, celestia and night-light then left and made there way over to the cater, celestia still the strange power then stepping past the guards that had been surrounding the crater, celestia for the first time that night saw what exactly the thing that had shot out from within the rift was.

As laying right before her in a hole of uprooted of dirt, was a small craft of some kind, it was arrow-shaped and had a large hatch on top of the craft, celestia and night-light then slowly walked down into the crater, know only a few step apart from craft and filling that strong overwhelming magic power she felt before she then placed her hand on top the metal craft, celestia closing her eyes she could feel the magic within the craft and something else within a moment later she then heard something coming from within the craft, taking her hand off the craft and stepping back celestia watch as the door hatch slowly began to open steam coming out as it opened, night-light and the rest of the guards then took a stand, and got ready to step in if needed, then celestia heard something coming from within the craft it was small and almost quiet but when hatch fullyed opened celestia's eye's widened as she then terned around ordered all her guards to stand down turning back her eye's widen in shock at what she saw before her.

As celestia thought she had seen everything, after all she had been around for well over a thousand years, and had seen many things along with her sister, they bare witness to rise and falls of kingdoms, had taken part in many of the bloodiest wars in equestrian history, defeated a chaos god, a power hungry centaur, a tyrant king, she even helped in defeated and imprisoning the father of all monsters as well as locking away all of his unholy spawns of chaos in what know known as tartarus. but what layed within the small and metal craft before her, was something celestia wasn't expecting.

As she then felt her heart skip a beat at the sight she saw before her, laying down inside the small metal craft before her, was a small infant of some kind she had never seen before, it's face was flat and had no fur anywhere on it's body that she could see all except for the top of it's head witch showed abit of brown hair and was wrapped up in a bundle of cloth
filling the cold air it then begin crying, seeing this, celestia felt her maternal instincts kick in, as she then rushed into the craft scooping the small bundle up into her arms, holding the small baby close to her chest, as she softly began hashing the it's cry's. "Shhh shhh, there there little one, It's okay i got you" She said softly whispering to the baby as it's cry's slowly began to die down until eventually it had stopped it's cry's and had falling asleep in celestia's arms, once it had fully fallen asleep celestia then turned to night-light looking up at him. "Captain, do you think you could find me another cloth i fear that it might a little cold" Celestia said looking down at the now sleeping bundle in her arms.

"You sure that this is a good idea your majesty" Night-light asked looking down at the bundle in her arms, "What about the dangers it may bring, we have no idea what this new creature even is, it may be harmless now but what about when it gets older, and what about the nobility what will they think"

"I don't think, will be in any danger here captain, and as for the nobility" Celestia said looking up at him. "i couldn't give a dam what they think, we should never judge a book by it's cover" Celestia said but what night-light said did make her think, celestia could still fill the power she felt before, but she couldn't fill or sense anything dark or evil coming from the baby.
Night-light thinking about his with and son, then looked back at the sleeping bundle in her, and not wanting to judge by appearances then nodded his head.

"Your right we shouldn't jump to conclusions, but what do we do about the hole in the sky, and the massive crater" Night-light said looking at the mess all around them.

"Leave the cover story to me captain, i'll come up with something, and as for the garden" Celestia said as she then looks around seeing the now opened area and smiled as she turned back to Night-light. "Well i always did want to put in a wildlife century to help out any and all animals in need"

"That could work, it also would save me the paper work" Night-light joked he then looked toward the craft. "What about that" Night-light said referring to the craft behind them.

"Bring it, and anything else you can find back to the castle, i believe there's still some information it can give us a bout were this little one came from"

"As you wish" Night-light said as he and celestia then began walking out of the crater, upon reaching the top of the crater some of celestia guard's eye's then widen, upon seeing the small infant up close as they had heard the crys, celestia and Night-light then parted ways with celestia and some of the guards walking back towards the castle, and night-light and a few guards staying behind to clean up the ness before them, while also and find anything they may have been apart of the metal craft, looking around and seeing all the damages before him night-light know that he wouldn't be going home anytime soon. "Sorry hun, but it looks like it's going to be a long night" he said as he and the rest of the guard's began there search.
