You clear your throat, “Yeah, I got room to spare, let me go get a towel for you so you can dry off.”

You walk off and go get a towel for her while she parks her wagon beside your house. While you weren’t expecting visitors and certainly didn’t want to, a little company wouldn’t be bad especially when company looked as good as her.
You grab a large towel and make your way back to your living room where the blue mare stands idly by at your door shivering. Her eyes light up when she sees the towel in your hand.
“Here’s that towel you asked for,” you say as you hand it to her. “do you want some coffee? I just made some and I probably won’t drink all of it so I don’t mind sharing the rest.”
“Oh uhm, yes I would like a cup.” You nod and fill up a cup of coffee in your kitchen while she vigorously rubs herself with your towel. You watch her from behind the counter. She drops the towel to the floor and spreads it out. She then lays down and rolls herself over it. She goes from her back to her stomach then to her back again. You stifle a laugh as you watch the silly mare dry herself off. It seems she has trouble drying her mane though. She tries dipping her head down and rubbing her mane into the towel but it barely does anything.
You suddenly remember that you were on your way to deliver her cup of coffee and hurry over to her. You hope it isn’t cold. She perks her head up as you walk back into the living room, smiling at you while she lays on the floor. You stand before her and hold out her cup. She stares at you until she realizes she’s looking at you upside down. She blushes and quickly gets up on all four hooves. She closes her eyes and gives you an embarrassed smile as she levitates the cup in mid air.
“You can sit down over here if you’d like.” You point to your couch, walking over and sitting on the far right seat. She walks over and sits down on the far left seat. You both sip awkwardly at your cups of coffee. She keeps the cup held in the air right below her chin, occasionally lifting it up to her lips and carefully sipping at it.
The silence is killing you. You try and think of something to say to her.
“So The Great and Powerful Trixie, was it? I’m Henri, nice to meet you.” You say which you immediately think was lame.
She chuckles, “Trixie it is! Trixie Lulamoon. Nice to meet you too Henri. I’m so glad I found someone who was up at this time and actually willing to let me stay.”
“Yeah I was actually going to ask what you’re doing out at this time, especially in this weather,” You move the blinds behind you, giving Trixie a view of the rain attacking the window.
“it’s not exactly the best time to go for a walk.”
“The Great and Forgetful Trixie had packed everything she had for her show in Saddle Arabia in her wagon,” she stops halfway through to rub her face with the towel, her still wet mane dripping water onto her face and muzzle.”every-everything except room to sleep. So Trixie knocked on your door.” She says with defeat in her voice.
She wipes her face again, clearly agitated. You think about asking her if she needs help. You’d certainly like to get closer to her that’s for sure. You decide to take a chance and ask.
“Hey , I can dry your mane for ya if you’d like?” You ask in the most polite and pleasant way possible. Trixie looks surprised after you ask her, genuinely taken back at you. You don’t think she was expecting you to be so confident with it.“Trixie would love that, thank you.” She timidly replies while floating the towel towards you.
You grab the towel out of the air and walk over behind Trixie. She shivers as you walk over to her causing more water to drip from her mane onto her face. You stare at her damp, silky light blue hair, flowing from the top of her head down to the middle of her back.
You hold out the towel with both hands and grab her hair at the top moving down slowly wringing out the water in her hair. You reach the end of her mane and do it again. Trixie starts again, “Now everypony probably thinks I’m some kind of villain. So that’s why I’m going to Saddle Arabia. No pony knows me there so it’ll be a chance to have a clean slate.
