Fallout Equestria pillars
Before there was the elements of harmony. There were six pillars of Equestria, six heroes that saved Equistria from great disasters. Stable TEC, an organization in charge of building underground shelters in case of a horrible disaster called stables, decided to make six stables under the hometowns of said heroes and placed a descendant of the pillar that the stable is named after in charge of it. Hoping that the descendants of heroes could be heroes as well. Just as stable TEC predicted a horrible disaster did come but not from nature, it came from ponies and zebras that would rather see the world burn than make peace. Years passed and generations of ponies lived behind giant iron doors until one hundred and fifty years after the bombs fell. The door opened. Six pillars' mission was to find each other, organize, and rebuild Equistria. Fifty years after the doors opened and no stable has been able to contact any of the other six. With some of the stables believing that the other stables were destroyed.
Stable mistmane
A loud ringing came from my pipbuck, a small device that can do a lot of things but all I use mine for is to listen to music and a clock. I groaned as I turned it off. "Another day in stable mistmane" I told myself while I stretching out my hooves. I then looked around at my iron walled room that was mostly empty save for my bed and a shelf by it with three items on it, my pipbuck and two photos. The first one of darkmane, the overmare of stable mistmane, despite her name sounding like a power pony villain name, she's not a terrible overmare. She got her name because her mane was a dark color when she was born. Like her ancestor, mistmane, she is a very beautiful mare with ruby red eyes and grey coat that any stallion would love to get their hooves on or at least that's what all the other stallions say to me the most beautiful mare in all of stable mistmane was in the other photo in the fore hooves of the luckiest black coated unicorn stallion. A pink coated unicorn mare with a long pink mane that covers her neck with a pair of aquamarine blue eyes that I've lost myself in plenty of times. This is Sakura flower, the mare I've loved before I even liked mares when I was content with training and reading power pony comics. When stable mistmane was built, it was filled with Equistria art to preserve it when the bombs fell and someone at stable TEC headquarters decided that a comic book series counted as art and when the first generation came into the stable they found a library full of power pony comics. But, these days, I'd rather spend my time with Sakura on her back looking up at me while I.. before I get lost in day dreaming, I shake my head and yell at myself "no! Shadow Blade! No! Work first then spending time with Sakura later!"
Shadow Blade is the name I was born with my dad's name being steel blade and that's all I know about him because he was killed by a slaved pony that got a lucky head shot on him when I was a foil. Our stable sends scouts known as ninjas outside the stable to check the ruins above us for intruders and to find one or all of the other five pillar stables but so far we've found nothing of the others. But we still send a three stallion team on the pillar mission, as the ninjas call it, in hopes to begin colonizing the wasteland outside the stable's door. Like my father, I'm a ninja and I've spent some time outside the stable in the ruins but only during the night because only pillar ninjas, the ones sent on the pillar mission are allowed out during the day. I checked my pipbuck and saw i'd have time for breakfast before seeing which team had to patrol the ruins tonight. After putting my black uniform on and strapped my pipbuck on, I opened the door to the steel halls of the stable. I glanced back at photo of me and Sakura. " If I don't have patrol duty tonight, your flank is all mine" I whispered while closing my door.
"Tonight team five will have night patrol!" Yelled a red pegasus in a room filled with ponies wearing outfits like mine except for Pegasus version s having holes for their wings, this is crimson knife, a pegasus in his late forties with his uniform nearly as old as it's wearer. He's the oldest ninja with few reaching thirty"Team five, get a good meal and and catch some sleep or you might get your photos on the wall of remembered"
The wall of remembered, a wall behind the old pegasus that was covered with pictures of unicorn, earth, and pegasus stallions all of them were killed in action. Ever foil, colt, and stallion in this room had a relative on that wall be it a father, cousin, or uncle. We knew we'd end up on that wall that was our fate. "Also I shouldn't have to remind you all but tomorrow will be the day of choosing. Which for you stallions who's over eighteen years better find that special mare of yours tonight for it maybe the last night you see her."
I just rolled my eyes. Like I need an excuse to spend an evening with my marefriend. But before finding her, I turned to a white earth pony with silver mane and tail along with green eyes this is cold stone, and beside him was an all green pegasus this is emerald wing, and these two are my best friends. We trained together since we were kids. I put on a fake smile for I know tomorrow we'd be chosen and as I looked at them, I figured they know also. "Well boys I'm gonna go meditate"
"Give her a smack for me!" Cold stone said in a jokingly voice. While emerald wing leaving the room shouted "give Sakura two smacks for me."
Okay so maybe Sakura and I weren't best at hiding our relationship from friends. As the sliding door opened for me. My eyes were greeted by a beautiful sight of a certain pink mare wearing the security armor that was based on the armors of the samurai. she gave me look that I've seen many times and it said "my shift will be over soon, see you in my room."
One last time with my mare before I spend a month in the wasteland? What better way to enjoy my last hours.
