Prologue.

Dark Forest, Afternoon.

A dark forest was almost silent, with the occasional blowing of the wind whistling through the trees. It was soon interrupted by the loud buzzing of an insect, but it wasn't the wings of a mere insect; they belonged to Queen Chrysalis, who soon landed to rest while hiding from any eyes in the forest before deciding to fly out again. Recently, she was overthrown by a changeling drone, Thorax, who has now become the new queen of her hive. Currently, she is travelling away from her former hive, to possibly find a new place to set up a new hive. However, she realized one problem while thinking about finding a new home. She is now queen with no subjects. To her knowledge, they have metamorphosed while no longer loyal to her. Upholding a lie about changelings being nothing but vicious creatures who can only steal love to survive doesn't give the message of "Trust in me" a good ring. Even when it's a lie to subject absolute loyalty to her subjects, she sighs with sadness as she is now alone as the only changeling who has yet to achieve metamorphosis.

"Damn, my foolishness for losing my subjects to a drone and her friends." She then rubs her right arm underneath her D-cup breasts, shaking with frustration, and upset with her humiliating defeat. "Now, I'm all alone, with only a taste of defeat as my reward."

"Sorry, my majesty. Cause that is not true." Said a familiar feminine voice which made the former queen panic with fear. She then immediately turns around to see two Reformed Changelings approaching her. She then backways from the two changelings while lighting up her horn in defense; a nearby tree soon stopped her from backing up. She is now surrounded, waiting for the changelings to make their move.

"What do you two want?" said Chrysalis while still channelling magic in her horn while coldly staring back at the two changelings. "Are all here to capture me? To be brought to your new queen. So, I can receive my punishment?"

"Thankfully for you, no," said the stern green changeling with a modest set of C cup breasts, a big ass, red set wings, and three small gems above her chest. "We have both decided to remain loyal to you, Queen Chrysalis."

The two reformed changelings then kneed in front of Chrysalis. She was surprised with confused by their display of loyalty despite her lies.

"B-But I lied to you." Said Chrysalis with a tone of maintained confusion. "Why would you remain loyal to me after I lied about our species' need to steal love instead of sharing it?"

"It's because we like you." Said the peppy DD cupped changeling with a colour scheme like a bee and has a big ass, who looks at Chrysalis with a happy expression.

"Like me, why?" asked Chrysalis, now feeling uneasy by the peppy changeling's expression of happiness.

"Because, despite the long history of lies, we decided to follow you on, whatever journal you are now partaking." Said the stern changeling who opened her bag to take out her phone. She then shows the screen to Chrysalis with an image of a map for a nearby town. "There is a nearby town from here. We can go with disguises while picking up some jobs to make some before we head off to wherever you want to go next."

Chrysalis, for whatever reason, began to feel warm inside her chest as if something new was from her heart. She then shook her head before looking back at the stern and peppy changelings.

"Okay, then fine, but first we some rules which help all of us get along." Said Chrysalis in an almost commanding tone. "For now, you only address me as Chrysalis or my name for a disguise.

"Alright, anything else, Qu- I mean Chrysalis?" said the stern who almost called Chrysalis, Queen Chrysalis.

"Second, the rule will now see each other as equals. Like um, f-f-friends?" said Chrysalis, who struggled to say the word friend. She then holds out her hand "We will now shake on it, as agreement to our rules, starting right now"

The two reformed changelings looked at each other and then nodded in agreement.

"Okay, Chrysalis. We accept your agreement to be your friends" said the stern changeling as she gripped Chrysalis's hand to shake it. The peppy changeling also shakes her hand in agreement.

"Lastly, what are your names?" asked Chrysalis as she relaxed by leaning on the same tree.

"I'm Rose Buzz." Said the stern changeling with a grin.

"And I'm Sweet Bee." Said the peppy changeling with a bright smile.

"Okay, Rose Buzz and Sweet Bee. Let's us now be friends and make some bits." Said Chrysalis with a smile. Rose Buzz nodded, while Sweet Bee jumped for joy. The trio then makes their way out of the forest and into the town for some jobs.

For one month, the trio of changelings entered the big town disguised as regular ponies willing to work in jobs that served others. They did jobs such as being barmaids, maids, and even waitresses while building up a healthy and steady income of bits. After they accumulated enough bits from employment in the town, they gave their work bosses hugs and goodbyes and left for their following location for more bits and life. Chrysalis gradually warmed up to the Reformed Changelings, including their generous sharing of love for her to feed on. Rose Buzz suggested Chrysalis go to Manehattan to find a good and affordable apartment to share and live in.

Once they entered Manehattan, they found a good rental apartment in Whinnyamsburg, which had a downstairs kitchen and family space, a few bedrooms and bathrooms to share, and general items for their living needs. Luckily for Rose Buzz and Sweet Bee, they could enter the city with their reformed regular changeling appearances due to Equestria slowly accepting changelings as citizens of Equestria thanks to an alliance with Queen Thorax and The Royal Sisters. However, Chrysalis had to use a reformed changeling disguise due to the likelihood of being arrested. She chose a blue coat with purple wings as her main disguise.

The trio changelings faced a new challenge, finding jobs to get their own home.

Whinnyamsburg Fine Apartments Complex, Night.

"We did it, ladies. We got ourselves the perfect apartment for our new major step for perfect new life." cheered Chrysalis, who is now wearing cute causal clothes while happily raising her glass of wine while clinking with Rose Buzz's and Sweet Bee's glasses. They all down their drinks as a toast towards their achievement and a few months of building friendships. "And, for the most important question. What are we going get now, 'cause the weekly rent is not cheap."

"I'm glad you asked Chrysalis." Said Rose Buzz, who wore modest casuals, took out her phone for the job website. "While you guys are relaxing, I am already for a job at a luxury bar as a bartender."

"Whoa, Rose Buzz. That is great!" shouted Sweet Bee, who had a cute set of bee-themed casuals, as she hugged Rose Buzz while looking at the phone screen. "Hey, can you share the same website to apply for our jobs?"

"Of course, Sweet Bee." Said Rose Buzz while hearing Sweet Bee cheer. "Yay". "I've sent you and Chrysalis the link to the website so you two get job searching."

"Thank you, Rose Buzz." Said Chrysalis while feeling a warm smile brighten on her face. "You’re a good friend.”

“You’re welcome, Chrysalis.” Said Rose Buzz. She then went to her room to relax while Chrysalis and Sweet Bee went job searching.

1 Hour Later.

“So, you guys, what have you found for jobs tomorrow.” Asked Rose Buzz who was now holding on to a cup of coffee. Sweet Bee then piped up with sweet enthusiasm.

“I applied for a nice restaurant as a waitress called Highlights.” Said Sweet Bee with a smile.

“Why is it called Highlights?” said Rose Buzz, taking a sip of her coffee.

“It's a place where I get tips for flashing my tits!” said Sweet Bee as she lifted her t-shirt to show off her breasts covered by her hot pink bra while poking out her tongue. Rose Buzz ended up spitting out her coffee while coffee at Sweet Bee’s shameless display of exhibitionism.

“Are you serious, Sweet Bee?” She coughs again while waiting for Sweet Bee’s answer.

“Yep. It’s all true.” She then shows Rose Buzz her phone with the information about her job. She then stands and waves to the other changelings before heading to her room “Good Night, guys!”

“Umm, okay. How are you, Chrysalis? What kind of job did you get?” she asked while staring at Chrysalis, hoping she didn’t choose a silly job of all changelings.

“Umm, it’s a job which I need to apply for at the studio tomorrow. And it's an acting job at an independent film studio.” Said Chrysalis with a hint of a blush on her face.

“What kind of acting job.” Asked Rose Buzz as she took notice of Chrysalis’s slowly reddening face.

“Adult Actress.” Squeaked Chrysalis while covering her face with embarrassment.

“So, why did you choose this job?” Asked Rose Buzz, sounding worried about Chrysalis’s decision. “Is it safe?”

“Oh, yes, of course, Rose Buzz.” Answered Chrysalis while showing the information on her phone. “The owner of the studio, Vibing Hearts. She takes good care of her actors while ensuring nothing bad happens to them.”

“Okay, but you know, you have to show off your body in front of the camera while Stallions have their way with you.” Said Rose Buzz while reading the application.

“Oh no, only if it’s part of the script. Also, the job said, " If I feel unwell or uncomfortable, I’m free to take a break before going back into it.” Said Chrysalis while tapping her fingers on the table.

“You could fall pregnant?” said Rose Buzz with concern, hoping Chrysalis would reconsider her choice.

“Rose Buzz, you know only “worthy” changeling stallions can get me pregnant.” Said Chrysalis with confidence.

“But, if you do-”

“Rose Buzz!” shouted Chrysalis silencing Rose Buzz’s complaint. “Sorry, but look. I get it, you worried about me, the cause has good friends.

Rose Buzz was now relaxing as she waited for Chrysalis to speak again.

“But this is my decision where I am willing to live with any consequences on the job.” Chrysalis then placed a hand on Rose Buzz’s hand, which twitched but decided not to move it. “Also, you guys did so much in helping me adapt to starting a new life. Also, this job pays well with fair bonuses.”

“Okay, Chrysalis. But promise me you will be okay out there.” Said Rose Buzz as she and Chrysalis stood up from the table to face each other.

“I promise, Rose.” She leans in to hug Rose Buzz as a promise. She then yawns, waving Rose Buzz goodnight as they both head off to sleep.

Bridleway, Manehattan City, Morning. Sunday.

Chrysalis was walking down the street of the main theatres and entertainment district in disguise as a reformed changeling. She follows her phone’s map before finding the adult film studio complex, Warm Spice Studios.

She then breathes in and out and enters the studio, where her future will be wild. As she the main studio lobby, she looked at the room to see a couple of movie posters on display, with a sign marked under “in progress” called the Wrath of the Tentacle God. Chrysalis then presses the intercom with the label "Hold to call the Director" on the table. It then buzzes, followed by a calm and sweet-sounding voice.

“Hello, are you here to discuss applying for the job here?” called the voice coming from the intercom.

“Hello, Vibing Heart? My name is Snuggle Bug, and I am here to apply for a job as an actress for your new movie?” said Chrysalis as she held the button to talk. Unfortunately, she was unaware her disguise was dispelled after entering the studio. Soon walking through the curtains into the lobby desk was a mature yet curvaceous and busty beautiful purple unicorn mare, the studio director herself, Vibing Heart. She oddly reminded Chrysalis of Twilight Sparkle but immediately set aside that memory.

“Hello darling, it is an absolute pleasure to meet here to join our great talented actors. Also, Snuggle Bug, was it? Is that name you go by these days, Queen Chrysalis?” said Vibing Heart while Chrysalis the bedroom eyes. Chrysalis’s eyes widened with fear after she heard the director say her real name.

“How does she know my name?” thought Chrysalis as she began to shake with fear.
