I fluttered downstairs and made breakfast for myself and the animals. After breakfast, I grabbed Angle and flew over to Rainbow's cloud house. Rainbow's pov: I heard knocking so I opened the door. It was so early in the morning, so I immediately knew who it was. Fluttershy's pov: I heard the door open and I futtered inside and began explaining the plan for today. First, we will go flying around the park. Next, we can go to the petting zoo and see all the animals till lunch. After lunch, we will go to the graveyard and spend some time with our real mother. Rainbow's pov: Fluttershy really has everything under control. I made some tea and prepared for the day. We packed our bags and flew over to the park.

Fluttershy and I even made a small dance in the air. After the relaxing flight, we glided over to the zoo. Fluttershy's pov: We had so much fun so far. After we were done with the dance we ran over to the zoo to see all the cute animals. I haven't visited the animals for the whole week. I brought some carrots and I dragged rainbow to see the bunnies, they were adorable and so playful. They came bouncing towards me. I giggled and feed it a carrot. Soon they were crowded around me. After feeding them all my carrots, we walked around the zoo and saw all the adorable animals. They were so cuddly and I loved all of them. Rainbow's pov: Fluttershy went crazy after seeing all the animals. I had to drag her out of the zoo and into a restaurant and order 2 milkshakes. While we waited for lunch, Fluttershy kept going on and on about how cute the snakes were. Fluttershy's pov: I was having so much fun until rainbow dragged me out of the zoo. It's not my fault the animals are so cute. The bears are so nice and the lions are so cuddly, not to mention how sweet the snakes are.

I know, I can invite them over for a sleepover to share what we did on mother's day. Today will be so much fun. We can play games and have pillow fights, I can't wait. What's a sleepover without cupcakes and balloons? That would be so boring. I can't wait. Fluttershy's pov: I think a sleepover will cheer Rainbow up. I hope she will feel better after the sleepover. Rarity's pov: This will be perfect, I can finally show them my new dress. I better get packing or I might not have enough time. I opened the door and Pinkie jumped in. Rarity was the next to come and then Applejack. Then Rainbow dash and Fluttershy arrived at the same time. Now that everyone is here we can start the party. First on the list, is a makeover. Rarity was an expert at that. Next on the list were snacks. Pinkie is always in charge of that. Pinkie's pov: The moment I heard Twilight say snakes I pulled out a bin of sweets. I brought a bucket full of candy and chocolate. I brought cupcakes and muffins. I even brought balloons and streamers, I never go anywhere without them. Besides every sleepover needs balloons. Twilight's pov: After the snacks, we began the movie with popcorn. I can't wait to get to tell the girls about what my family did on mother's day. Each of us can share what we did and it will be so much fun listening to what they did for mother's day.

Pinkie's pov: Twilight said yes. Yay, I get to go first. Ok, so first I and Maud made rock candy necklaces for my mom. We made a specific colour. Next, we build statues of my mom out of rocks. Then we had rock soup and a rock cake. The cake was so good. After lunch, we played find the rock. Guess who won. Me of course. Then I threw a Happy mother's day party. There were balloons and streamers. We even had cupcakes. It was the best day ever! Yay! Twilight's pov: Wow, Pinkie seems like you had a lot of fun. So who's next?

I'm just going to spend time with Rainbow like every year. We didn't have a real mother so we couldn't spend time with her. My real dad gave us for adoption after our mother's death. He made us swear not to tell, for it would ruin his reputation. We got adopted into a nice family, but we were separated. Rainbow Dash and I didn't see each other for a while until flight school, where she saved me and we both got our cutie marks. Many people may think my special talent is talking with animals, but it is just a genetic thing. My cutie mark is getting animals to listen to me. Rainbow can also talk to animals, but she doesn't show it or people will guess that we are related somehow. Rainbow's pov: I knocked on Fluttershy's door. I can't believe it's mother's day tomorrow. I wonder if she has any plans for tomorrow cause I don't. We spend mother's day together every year so it's kind of a tradition. Fluttershy's pov: I heard knocking on my door so I go to open it. I saw Rainbow dash outside and I tackled her in a hug. Hi, Dashie I cried with happiness. We went inside and did a little chatting and planning for tomorrow.

The place was dead silent as we walked in, it was as if all the happiness left. I knew our mother's death hit Rainbow harder than me since they had been closer. I preferred to stay with dad and learn about animals. Dad owned a pet shop on the ground and we both loved animals. We just had a closer bond, I guess. After mom's death, dad was devastated and he just couldn't handle the business and children at the same time. I don't blame him, but I always wished he choose us instead of his work. Rainbow's pov: I can't believe mom died. I know her illness was bad but why did she have to die? We were so close, she was always there for me and she taught me so many moves. I wish she could come back. Fluttershy's pov: I tried to cheer up Rainbow with ice cream but I don't think it worked. She still looked depressed, so I invited her to stay with me. It was like this every year. I wish I could do something to make her feel better. We spent the rest of the day on my couch, grieving over our mother's death. It's so sad we have to hide our real family. I want to respect our father's wishes but it's so hard sometimes. I will hold it in as long as I can but I can tell the truth will come out soon.

Twilight: Truth Rarity: Is it true that you failed an exam once? Twilight: How did you know? I mean maybe. Rainbow: You failed an exam! The perfect Twilight Sparkle failed an exam.
