When Twilight discovers a year's overdue library book, she quickly rushes to return it, dragging Spike, Leo, and Bright Eyes along.

But what starts off as a simple trip to the Canterlot Library, turns into a journey across Equestria as Twilight tracks down an old librarian friend of hers, who she believes lost her job because she never returned the book.
